1Physiological and molecular studies of staygreen caused by pod removal and seed injury in soybean显示文摘Leaves provide substances and signals for pod and seed development in soybean.However,the regulatory feedbacks of pod and seed to leaf development remain unclear.We investigated the effects of pod and seed on leaf senescence by conducting pod removal and seed injury experiments.Pod removal and seed injury delayed leaf senescence and caused the staygreen phenotype of leaves.There were dosage effects of pod number on the extent of staygreen in depodded plants.The concentrations of chlorophyll(SPAD value,an index of relative chlorophyll content),soluble protein,and soluble sugar in the leaves of depodded plants were higher than those of intact plants.During seed development,the content of IAA decreased,while that of ABA increased.This trend was more pronounced in intact than in depodded and seed-injured plants.The GA3/ABA ratio decreased gradually in all treatments.The content of GA3 was relatively stable and was higher in intact than in depodded plants.The expression levels of four senescence-related genes,Gm SARK,Gm SGR1,Gm CYN1,and Gm NAC,declined in depodded or seed-injured treatments and were positively correlated with the number of leaves retained on plants.Gm FT2 a,the major flowering-promoting gene,was expressed at a higher level while E1,a key flowering inhibitory gene,was expressed at a lower level in depodded than in intact plants.We propose that the pod or seed can regulate leaf development.When the seed is aborted owing to disease infection or pest attack,the leaves stay green because of the absence of the seed signals for senescence.Xinxin Zhang Min Wang Tingting Wu Cunxiang Wu Bingjun Jiang Changhong Guo Tianfu Han 2016The Crop Journal2016,4,6:23
2Magnetic field data processing methods of the China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite显示文摘The High Precision Magnetometer(HPM) on board the China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite(CSES) allows highly accurate measurement of the geomagnetic field; it includes FGM(Fluxgate Magnetometer) and CDSM(Coupled Dark State Magnetometer)probes. This article introduces the main processing method, algorithm, and processing procedure of the HPM data. First, the FGM and CDSM probes are calibrated according to ground sensor data. Then the FGM linear parameters can be corrected in orbit, by applying the absolute vector magnetic field correction algorithm from CDSM data. At the same time, the magnetic interference of the satellite is eliminated according to ground-satellite magnetic test results. Finally, according to the characteristics of the magnetic field direction in the low latitude region, the transformation matrix between FGM probe and star sensor is calibrated in orbit to determine the correct direction of the magnetic field. 3Metal-organic framework-derived Fe/Cu-substituted Co nanoparticles embedded in CNTs-grafted carbon polyhedron for Zn-air batteries显示文摘Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)and MOF-derived materials have attracted great attention as alternatives to noble-metal based electrocatalysts owing to their intriguing structure properties,especially for high efficiency and stable oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).Herein,we employed a one-pot reaction to make a multimetal(Fe,Co,Cu,and Zn)mixed zeolitic imidazolate framework(MM-ZIF)via adopting a simple in situ redox reaction.Further pyrolysis of the target MM-ZIF,a highly porous carbon polyhedron(FC-C@NC)grafted with abundant carbon nanotubes was obtained,in which ultrasmall Co nanoparticles with partial lattice sites substituted by Fe and Cu were embedded.The obtained FC-C@NC possessed large surface area,highly porous structure,widely-spread metal active sites,and conductive carbon frameworks,contributing to outstanding ORR activity and long-term stability.It displayed superior tolerance to methanol crossover and exceeded the commercial Pt/C catalyst and most previously reported non-noble-metal catalysts.Impressively,the as-produced FC-C@NC-based zinc-air battery afforded an open-circuit potential of 1.466 V,a large specific capacity of 659.5 mAh/g,and a high gravimetric energy density of 784.3 Wh/kgZn,significantly outperforming the Pt/C-based cathode.Kexin Zhang Yelong Zhang Qinghua Zhang Zibin Liang Lin Gu Wenhan Guo Bingjun Zhu Shaojun Guo Ruqiang Zou 2020Carbon Energy2020,2,2:7
4Preparation of polymer-supported hydrated ferric oxide based on Donnan membrane effect and its application for arsenic removal显示文摘In the present study a novel technique was proposed to prepare a polymer-supported hydrated ferric oxide (D201-HFO) based on Donnan membrane effect by using a strongly basic anion exchanger D201 as the host material and FeCl3-HCl-NaCl solution as the reaction environment. D201-HFO was found to exhibit higher capacity for arsenic removal than a commercial sorbent Purolite ArsenX. Furthermore, it presents favorable adsorption selectivity for arsenic removal from aqueous solution, as well as satis- factory kinetics. Fixed-bed column experiments showed that arsenic sorption on D201-HFO could re- sult in concentration of this toxic metalloid element below 10 μg/L, which was the new maximum con- centration limit set recently by the European Commission and imposed by the US EPA and China. 5Rolling up MXene sheets into scrolls to promote their anode performance in lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Although Ti3 C2 MXene sheets have attracted extensive attention in lithium-ion storage techniques,their restacking makes against and even hinders the Li ions diffusion within them,thereby decreasing the capacity as well as rate performance of conventional MXene anode.Here,for the first time,we roll up the Ti3 C2 Tx sheets into scrolls with unclosed topological structure and the interlayer galleries to alleviate the restacking problem.Thus,Ti3 C2 Tx scrolls as anode materials in lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)have higher capacity and better rate performance than Ti3 C2 Tx sheets.On the bases of these,high-capacity silicon nanoparticles are added during the rolling process to in-situ produce Ti3 C2 Tx/Si composite scrolls.The addition of 10%silicon nanoparticles shows the best overall improvement among capacity,rate capability and cyclic stability for Ti3 C2 Tx scrolls.Jianing Meng Fangfang Zhang Li Zhang Lingyang Liu Jiangtao Chen Bingjun Yang Xingbin Yan 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,7:4
6High-throughput sequencing of 16S r RNA amplicons characterizes gut microbiota shift of juvenile sea cucumber Apostichopus japonicus feeding with three antibiotics显示文摘Sea cucumber Apostichopus japonicus is an important marine economic species in Asian countries due to its profound nutritional and medicinal value. So far, with the rapid development of intensifi ed artifi cial aquaculture of sea cucumbers, the use of antibiotics is still an inexpensive and dispensable way to treat pathogenic infections, especially during the nursery phase. However, there is little information on the eff ects of antibiotics on the intestinal microbiota of sea cucumber. Therefore an Illumina based sequencing method was used to examine the intestinal bacterial composition of juvenile A . japonicas following diets with three typical antibiotics (tetracycline, erythromycin, and norfl oxacin) under 15, 30, and 45 d. The fi ndings reveal that diff erent antibiotics have distinct eff ects on the growth performance of juvenile sea cucumbers. However, the richness and diversity of microbiota were barely aff ected by antibiotics but the community composition alterations indicated that the three antibiotics exhibited their respective patterns of reshaping the intestinal bacteria of juvenile sea cucumbers. In common, the abundance of some sensitive genera with helpful functions, such as Thalassotalea , Shewanella , Sulfi tobacter , and Halomonas decreased signifi cantly with exposure to antibiotics and the abundance of multiple potential pathogenic- and suspected antibiotic-resistant microorganisms like Arcobacter , Leucothrix , and Clostridium_sensu_stricto_1 was found increased signifi cantly in the antibiotic groups. These results suggest that low doses of antibiotics could aff ect the composition of the intestinal microbiota of sea cucumbers and might increase the risk of infection of the hosts. 7Erythrocyte membrane-camouflaged carrier-free nanoassembly of FRET photosensitizer pairs with high therapeutic efficiency and high security for programmed cancer synergistic phototherapy显示文摘Phototherapy has been intensively investigated as a non-invasive cancer treatment option.However,its clinical translation is still impeded by unsatisfactory therapeutic efficacy and severe phototoxicity.To achieve high therapeutic efficiency and high security,a nanoassembly of Forster Resonance Energy Transfer(FRET)photosensitizer pairs is developed on basis of dual-mode photosensitizer co-loading and photocaging strategy.For proof-of-concept,an erythrocyte-camouflaged FRET pair co-assembly of chlorine e6(Ce6,FRET donor)and 1,1′-dioctadecyl-3,3,3′,3′-tetramethylindotricarbocyanine iodide(DiR,FRET acceptor)is investigated for breast cancer treatment.Notably,Ce6 in the nanoassemby is quenched by DiR and could be unlocked for photodynamic therapy(PDT)only when DiR is photobleached by 808-nm laser.As a result,Ce6-caused phototoxicity could be well controlled.Under cascaded laser irradiation(808-660 nm),tumor-localizing temperature rise following laser irradiation on DiR not only induces tumor cell apoptosis but also facilitates the tumor penetration of NPs,relieves tumor hypoxia,and promotes the PDT efficacy of Ce6.Such FRET pair-based nanoassembly provides a new strategy for developing multimodal phototherapy nanomedicines with high efficiency and good security.Xuanbo Zhang Jianchen Xiong Kaiyuan Wang Han Yu Bingjun Sun Hao Ye Zhiqiang Zhao Ning Wang Yuequan Wang Shenwu Zhang Wutong Zhao Haotian Zhang Zhonggui He Cong Luo Jin Sun 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,8:4
8The extraction of potassium from K-feldspar ore by low temperature molten salt method显示文摘The low temperature molten salt method was used to extract potassium from K-feldspar ore, and some related factors including mass ratio between NaNO_3, NaOH, H_2O and K-feldspar ore, particle size of K-feldspar ore,reaction temperature and time were investigated, respectively. In addition, the optimum condition for this method was determined by a series of condition experiments. What was more, the K-feldspar ore and the leach residue after reaction based on the above optimum condition were analyzed by XRD, SEM and EDS,separately. 9Pure photosensitizer-driven nanoassembly with core-matched PEGylation for imaging-guided photodynamic therapy显示文摘Pure drug-assembled nanomedicines(PDANs)are currently under intensive investigation as promising nanoplatforms for cancer therapy.However,poor colloidal stability and less tumor-homing ability remain critical unresolved problems that impede their clinical translation.Herein,we report a core-matched nanoassembly of pyropheophorbide a(PPa)for photodynamic therapy(PDT).Pure PPa molecules are found to self-assemble into nanoparticles(NPs),and an amphiphilic PEG polymer(PPaPEG_(2K))is utilized to achieve core-matched PEGylating modification via the p-p stacking effect and hydrophobic interaction between the PPa core and the PPa-PEG_(2K) shell.Compared to PCL-PEG_(2K) with similar molecular weight,PPa-PEG_(2K) significantly increases the stability,prolongs the systemic circulation and improves the tumor-homing ability and ROS generation efficiency of PPa-nanoassembly.As a result,PPa/PPa-PEG_(2K) NPs exert potent antitumor activity in a 4T1 breast tumor-bearing BALB/c mouse xenograft model.Together,such a core-matched nanoassembly of pure photosensitizer provides a new strategy for the development of imaging-guided theragnostic nanomedicines.Shenwu Zhang Yuequan Wang Zhiqiang Kong Xuanbo Zhang Bingjun Sun Han Yu Qin Chen Cong Luo Jin Sun Zhonggui He 2021Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,11:3

12Advances in Z-scheme semiconductor photocatalysts for the photoelectrochemical applications: A review显示文摘With continuous consumption of nonrenewable energy,solar energy has been predicted to play an essential role in meeting the energy demands and miti gating environmental issues in the future.Despite being green,clean and pollution-free energy,solar energy cannot be adopted directly as it cannot provide sufficiently high energy density to work in the absence of machinery.Thus,it is necessary to develop an effective strategy to convert and store solar energy into chemical energy to achieve social sustainable development using solar energy as the main power source.Photocatalysis,in which semi conductor photocatalysts play a key role,is one of the most promising can didates for realising the effective utilisation of sunlight in a green,low-cost and environmentally friendly method.The photocatalytic efficiency of photo catalysts is considerably influenced by their compositions.Among the various heterostructures,Z-scheme heterojunction is one of the most interesting ar chitecture due to its outstanding performance and excellent artificial imitation of photosynthesis.Z-scheme photocatalysts have attracted considerable at tention in the past few decades.Herein,we review contemporary Z-scheme systems,with a particular focus on mechanistic breakthroughs,and highlight current state-of-the-art systems.Z-type photocatalysts are classified as tradi tional,all-solid-state,direct Z-schemes and S-scheme photocatalysts.The morphology,characterisation and working mechanism of each type of Z-scheme are discussed in detail.Furthermore,the applications of Z-scheme in photoelectrochemical water splitting,nitrogen fixation,pollutant degrada tion and carbon dioxide reduction are illustrated.Finally,we outline the main challenges and potential advances in Z-scheme architectures,as well as their future development directions.Jiaxin Li Hao Yuan Wenjie Zhang Bingjun Jin Qi Feng Jan Huang Zhengbo Jiao 2022Carbon Energy2022,4,3:2

16Conspicuous cruciform silk decorations deflect avian predator attacks显示文摘Although camouflage as an effective antipredator defense strategy is widespread across animals,highly conspicuous color patterning is not uncommon either.Many orb-web spiders adorn their webs with extra bright white silk.These conspicuous decorations are hypothesized to deter predators by warning the presence of sticky webs,camouflaging spiders,acting as a decoy,or intimidating predators by their apparent size.The decorations may also deflect predator attacks from spiders.However,empirical evidence for this deflection function remains limited.Here,we tested this hypothesis using the X-shaped silk cruciform decorations built by females of Argiope minuta.We employed visual modeling to quantify the conspicuousness of spiders and decorations from a perspective of avian predators.Then,we determined actual predation risk on spiders using naïve chicks as predators.Spider bodies and decorations were conspicuous against natural backgrounds to the avian visual systems.Chicks attacked the spider main bodies significantly less frequently on the decorated webs than on the undecorated webs,thus reducing predation risk.When both spiders and decorations were present,chicks also attacked the spider main bodies and their legs or decorations,and not randomly:they attacked the legs or decorations sooner and more frequently than they attacked the main bodies,independent of the ratio of the surface area between the decoration and spider size.Despite the increase in detectability,incorporating a conspicuous cruciform decoration to the web effectively defends the spider by diverting the attack toward the decoration or leg,but not by camouflaging or intimidating,thus,supporting the deflection hypothesis.Bingjun WANG Long YU Nina MA Zengtao ZHANG Deyong GONG Rui LIU Daiqin LI Shichang ZHANG 2022Integrative Zoology2022,17,5:1
17Minor change in the length of carbon chain has a great influence on the antitumor effect of paclitaxel-fatty alcohol prodrug nanoassemblies:Small roles,big impacts显示文摘Prodrug-based nanoassembly emerges as a hopeful way for the efficient delivery of antitumor drugs,with carrier-free structure and ultra-high drug loading.Carbon chains are widely used to design self-assembling prodrugs.The impacts of the length of carbon chains on the self-assembly stability,drug delivery efficiency and antitumor effect of prodrugs have not been fully elucidated.Here,three paclitaxel prodrugs were synthesized by conjugating paclitaxel with octanol(C_(8)),decanol(C_(10))or dodecanol(C_(12))through disulfide bond.The three prodrugs could form homogeneous nanoparticles,with over 50%drug loading and redox dual-responsivity.Interestingly,the length extension of carbon chains ameliorates the self-assembly and the colloidal stability of prodrugs,thus improving the drug delivery efficiency.The optimal paclitaxel-dodecanol prodrug nanoassemblies exhibit better antitumor efficacy than Taxol and Abraxane.These findings are meaningful for the rational design of advanced nanomedicines in cancer therapy.Xin Wang Lingxiao Li Danping Wang Shiyi Zuo Tian Liu Fudan Dong Xuanbo Zhang Zhonggui He Bingjun Sun Jin Sun 2022Nano Research2022,15,4:1
