1Temporal and spatial variation of annual mean air temperature in arid and semiarid region in northwest China over a recent 46 year period显示文摘We analyzed the 1961-2006 mean surface air temperature data of 138 stations in China's northwest arid and semi-arid areas(CNASA),to measure climate change in terms of annual mean air temperature changes.We used methods of linear regression analysis,multinomial fitting,Empirical Or-thogonal Function(EOF),Rotated Empirical Orthogonal Function(REOF),Mann-Kendall,Glide T-examination,wavelet analysis and power spectrum analysis.The results show that(1) the warming rate of the annual mean air temperature in CNASA was 0.35oC/10a during the 1961-2006 study period.Some places in the west part of Xinjiang and east part of the Qinghai plateau,which is impacted by the terrain of leeward slope,exhibit smaller increasing trends.However,the majority of region has shown distinct warming in line with general global warming;(2) The standard deviation of the annual mean temperature distribution is non-uniform.The south Xinjiang and east Qinghai-south Gansu areas show relatively small standard deviations,but the inter-annual variation in annual mean air temperature in the greater part of the region is high;(3) Inner Mongolia,Shaanxi,Gansu,Ningxia and Tarim Basin are the areas where the temperature changes are most sensitive to the environment.The degree of uniformity in annual mean air temperature increase is higher in the arid and semi-arid area.From the early 1970s,the trend in tempera-ture changed from a decrease to an increase,and there was a marked increase in mean temperature in 1986.After that mean temperature went through a period of rapid increase.The entire area's 10 hottest years all occurred in or since the 1990s,and 90% of various sub-districts' hottest years also occurred after 1990.The process of temperature change appears to have a roughly 5-year and a 10-year cycle;(4) An-nual mean air temperature variation has regional differences.In Inner Mongolia-Xinjiang and Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia-Qinghai areas,the temperature variation in their northern areas was very different from that in their southern areas;(5) Using the REOF method we divided the region into 4 sub-regions:the Northern region,the Plateau region,the Southern Xinjiang region and the Eastern region.The region's annual mean air temperature transition has regional differences.The Plateau and Southern Xinjiang re-gions got warmer steadily without any obvious acceleration in the rate of warming.The Northern region's warming started about 5-years earlier than that of the low latitude Eastern region.The 'Startup region' of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,appears to undergo temperature changes 3 to 10 years earlier than the other regions,and exhibits inter-decadal variations 1 to 2 years ahead of the other regions.Chen, ShaoYong Shi, YuanYuan Guo, YuZhen Zheng, YanXiang 2010Journal of Arid Land2010,2,2:24

3Effect of amendments on the leaching behavior of alkaline anions and metal ions in bauxite residue显示文摘A column leaching experiment was used to investigate the efficacy of amendments on their ability to remove alkaline anions and metal ions from bauxite residue leachates.Treatments included,simulated acid rain (AR),phosphogypsum + vermicompost (PVC),phosphogypsum + vermicompost + simulated acid rain (PVA),and biosolids + microorganisms (BSM) together with controls (CK).Results indicated that amendment could effectively reduce the leachate pH and EC values,neutralize OH-,CO32-,HCO3-,and water soluble alkali,and suppress arsenic (As) content.Correlation analysis revealed significant linear correlations with pH and concentrations of OH-,CO32-,HCO3-,water-soluble alkali,and metal ions.BSM treatment showed optimum results with neutralizing anions (OH-,CO32-,and HCO3-),water soluble alkali,and removal of metal ions (Al,As,B,Mo,V,and Na),which was attributed to neutralization from the generation of small molecular organic acids and organic matter during microbial metabolism.BSM treatment reduced alkaline anions and metal ions based on neutralization reactions in bauxite residue leachate,which reduced the potential pollution effects from leachates on the soil surrounding bauxite residue disposal areas.Tao Tian Jinaju Zhou Feng Zhu Yuzhen Ye Ying Guo William Hartley Shengguo Xue 2019Journal of Environmental Sciences2019,31,11:5
4Description of a Marine Nematode Hopperia sinensis sp. nov.(Comesomatidae) from Mangrove Forests of Quanzhou, China, with a Pictorial Key to Hopperia Species显示文摘A new free-living marine nematode species Hopperia sinensis sp. nov. from mangrove forests of Fujian Province, China, is identified and illustrated. Hopperia sinensis sp. nov. is characterized by its cephalic setae 2.4–2.8 μm long or 17%–20% head diameter, and amphids of 2.25–2.5 turns. Lateral differentiation appears with larger, more irregularly distributed dots behind 3–5 transverse rows of dots posterior to amphid. Buccal cavity is consisted of a shallow and weakly sclerotized cup-shaped portion with strongly sclerotized walls of 18–21 μm deep. There are three sclerotized and size-equally pointed teeth at the junction between the two parts. Spicules of 41–45 μm long are slightly curved with broadband velum and central strips at the proximal end. The gubernacula, with apparent lateral guiding pieces, are formed by one central tubular piece that is weakly sclerotized with 11–16 μm long dorso-caudally directed apophyses. There are 13–14 fine tubular precloacal supplements. Conico-cylindrical tail gradually tapers till pointed tail tip. Female is similar to male, but have a longer body and tail. Ovaries are opposed and outstretched, with anterior ovary to the left and posterior ovary to the right of the intestine. 5Stable degree analysis for strategy profiles of evolutionary networked games显示文摘In this paper, we investigate the stable degree of strategy profile for evolutionary networked games by using the semi-tensor product method, and present a number of new results. First, we propose the concept of k-degree stability for strategy profiles based on a normal evolutionary networked game model. Second, using the semi-tensor product of matrices, we convert the game dynamics with 'best imitate' strategy updating rule into an algebraic form. Third, based on the algebraic form of the game, we analyzed the stable degree of strategy profile, and proposed two necessary and sufficient conditions for the k-degree stability of strategy profile.Furthermore, we discuss the computation problem of the transient time within which a disturbed strategy profile can be restored, and also establish an algorithm for the verification of the stable degree of strategy profile. 6Output reachability analysis and output regulation control design of Boolean control networks显示文摘This paper investigates the output reachability and output regulation control design of Boolean control networks(BCNs) by using the semi-tensor product method, and presents a number of new results.First, the concept of output reachability is proposed for BCNs, and some necessary and sufficient conditions are presented for the verification of output reachability. Second, based on the output reachability of BCNs and the attractor set of the reference Boolean network, an effective method is proposed for the control design of the output regulation problem. 7The Computation of Nash Equilibrium in Fashion Games via Semi-Tensor Product Method显示文摘Using the semi-tensor product of matrices, this paper investigates the computation of purestrategy Nash equilibrium(PNE) for fashion games, and presents several new results. First, a formal fashion game model on a social network is given. Second, the utility function of each player is converted into an algebraic form via the semi-tensor product of matrices, based on which the case of two-strategy fashion game is studied and two methods are obtained for the case to verify the existence of PNE.Third, the multi-strategy fashion game model is investigated and an algorithm is established to find all the PNEs for the general case. Finally, two kinds of optimization problems, that is, the so-called social welfare and normalized satisfaction degree optimization problems are investigated and two useful results are given. 8Improvements on physical conditions of bauxite residue following application of organic materials显示文摘Soil formation and ecological rehabilitation is the most promising strategy to eliminate environmental risks of bauxite residue disposal areas. Its poor physical structure is nevertheless a major limitation to plant growth. Organic materials were demonstrated as effective ameliorants to improve the physical conditions of bauxite residue. In this study, three different organic materials including straw(5% W/W), humic acid(5% W/W), and humic acidacrylamide polymer(0.2% and 0.4%, W/W) were selected to evaluate their effects on physical conditions of bauxite residue pretreated by phosphogypsum following a 120-day incubation experiment. The proportion of 2-1 mm macro-aggregates, mean weight diameter(MWD) and geometric mean diameter(GWD) increased following organic materials addition, which indicated that organic materials could enhance aggregate stability. Compared with straw, and humic acid, humic acid-acrylamide polymer application had improved effects on the formation of water-stable aggregates in the residues. Furthermore, organic materials increased the total porosity, total pore volume and average pore diameter, and reduced the micropore content according to nitrogen gas adsorption(NA) and mercury intrusion porosimetry(MIP)analysis, whilst enhancing water retention of the residues based on water characteristic curves. Compared with traditional organic wastes, humic acid-acrylamide polymer could be regarded as a candidate according to the comprehensive consideration of the additive amount and the effects on physical conditions of bauxite residue. 12Single-crystal star-like zinc oxide: synthesis, characterization and growth mechanism显示文摘A novel star-like single-crystal ZnO structure was synthesized by a simple solvothermal method. The as-prepared products were characterized by XRD, SEM and TEM. The star-like ZnO, which shows sixfold symmetry, was constructed by six uniform arms distributing symmetrically around the [0001] zone axis. It is also found that the arms are not perpendicular to the [0001] zone axis and each arm is grown at a certain angle with the [0001] direction. CBED pattern and corresponding simulation demonstrate that the convex part of the star-like ZnO is O-terminated (000-1) plane and the concave part is Zn-terminated (0001) plane. H2S plays a crucial role in the synthesis process. 13Ergodic Capacity of NOMA-Based Overlay Cognitive Integrated Satellite-UAVTerrestrial Networks显示文摘Satellite communication has become a popular study topic owing to its inherent advantages of high capacity,large coverage,and no terrain restrictions.Also,it can be combined with terrestrial communication to overcome the shortcomings of current wireless communication,such as limited coverage and high destructibility.In recent years,the integrated satellite-unmanned aerial vehicle-terrestrial networks(IS-UAV-TNs)have aroused tremendous interests to effectively reduce the transmission latency and enhance quality-of-service with improved spectrum efficiency.However,the rapidly growing access demands and conventional spectrum allocation scheme lead to the shortage of spectrum resources.To tackle the mentioned challenge,the non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA)scheme and cognitive radio technique are utilized in IS-UAV-TN,which can improve spectrum utilization.In our paper,the transmission capacity of an NOMA-enabled IS-UAV-TN under overlay mode is discussed,specifically,we derive the closed-form expressions of ergodic capacity for both primary and secondary networks.Besides,simulation results are provided to demonstrate the validity of the mathematical derivations and indicate the influences of critical system parameters on transmission performance.Furthermore,the orthogonal multiple access(OMA)-based scheme is compared with our NOMA-based scheme as a benchmark,which illustrates that our proposed scheme has better performance.GUO Kefeng LIU Rui DONG Chao AN Kang HUANG Yuzhen ZHU Shibing 2023Chinese Journal of Electronics2023,32,2:1

18Regulatory variation within 3’UTR of STAT5A correlates with sudden cardiac death in Chinese populations显示文摘Definitive diagnosis to sudden cardiac death(SCD)is often challenging since the postmortem examination on SCD victims could hardly demonstrate an adequate cause of death.It is therefore important to uncover the inherited risk component to SCD.Signal transducer and activators of transcription 5 A(STAT5A)is a member of the STAT family and a transcription factor that is activated by many cell ligands and associated with various cardiovascular processes.In this study,we performed a systematic variant screening on the STAT5A to filter potential functional genetic variations.Based on the screening results,an insertion/deletion polymorphism(rs3833144)in 3’UTR of STAT5A was selected as the candidate variant.A total of 159 SCD cases and 668 SCD matched healthy controls was enrolled to perform a case-control study and evaluate the association between rs3833144 and SCD susceptibility in Chinese populations.Logistic regression analysis showed that the deletion allele of rs3833144 had significantly increased the SCD risk(odds ratio(OR)=1.54;95%confidence interval(CI)=1.18-2.01;P=0.000955).Further genotype-expression eQTL analysis showed that samples with deletion allele appeared to lower expression of STAT5A,and in silico prediction suggested the local 3 D structure changes of STAT5A mRNA caused by the variant.On the other hand,the bioinformatic analysis presented that promoters of RARA and PTGES3L-AARSD1 could interact with rs3833144,and eQTL analysis showed the higher expression of both genes in samples with deletion allele.Dual-luciferase activity assays also suggested the significant regulatory role of rs3833144 in gene transcription.Our current data thus suggested a possible involvement of rs3833144 to SCD predisposition in Chinese populations and rs3833144 with potential function roles may become a candidate marker for SCD diagnosis and prevention.Huan Yu Yadong Guo Zhenzhen Yang Qing Zhang Jiabin Xu Qi Yang Yiling Qu Rui Tan Lijuan Li Yan He Chengtao Li Suhua Zhang Bin Luo Yuzhen Gao 2022Forensic Sciences Research2022,7,4:0
19Implementation of Heat Treatment Process Simulation with Object-Oriented Method显示文摘In this paper, mathematical models and FEA formulation for implementing heat treatment process simulation were given out. The various coupling effects were treated. The object-oriented methodology of developing heat treatment simulation was explored. The framework of simulating programs was outlined. The main C++ classes were developed, some important member functions were implemented. The present research work shows that using object-oriented method can greatly reduce the amount of coding. The programs are clear in conception, easy to test, modify and expand.
