Occurrence and assessment of veterinary antibiotics in swine manures:A case study in East China显示文摘We investigated the occurrence of 14 selected antibiotics including five therapeutic classes of tetracyclines, sulfonamides, macrolides, fluoroquinolones and chloramphenicols in manures collected from four swine farms of different sizes in eastern China.Tetracyclines(tetracycline, oxytetracycline, chlortetracycline, and doxycycline) and sulfadiazine were the most prominent contaminants in the manure samples, with maximum concentrations reaching 98.2 × 10 3,354.0 × 10 3,139.4 × 10 3,37.2× 10 3,and 7.1× 10 3 μg/kg,respectively.The occurrence of these compounds was dependent on breeding scale, animal type, and breeding season.Manure storage and vermiculture were not able to effectively deplete the heavier contaminants(tetracyclines and sulfadiazine),resulting in high levels of these chemicals remaining in manures. Therefore, the occurrence of these antibiotics in agricultural soils(0.1-205.1 μg/kg) collected from four types of agricultural land(pear orchard, tea plantation, bamboo forest, and paddy field) near the studied farms, was a reflection of manure application. However, the extremely high concentrations of antibiotics in manures were unlikely from feed consumption, but from other direct forms of medicine application. | CHEN YongShan ZHANG HaiBo LUO YongMing SONG Jing | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,6: | 29
Influence of Ren and Du meridian electro-acupuncture on neural stem cell proliferation and extracellular signal-regulated kinase pathway in a rat model of focal cerebral ischemia injury显示文摘BACKGROUND:Studies have shown that electro-acupuncture at the Ren meridian could improve proliferation of subventricular zone neural stem cells in cerebral-ischemic rats. However, there are few reports on the influence of electro-acupuncture at the Du meridian on neural stem cell proliferation. OBJECTIVE:To observe the influence of electro-acupuncture at Ren and Du meridians on neural stem cell proliferation in the subventricular zone and altered signal transduction in cerebral ischemia rats. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A randomized, controlled, animal experiment was performed at the Laboratory of Human Anatomy,Medical College of Sun Yat-sen University from May 2006 to February 2008. MATERIALS:Mouse anti-rat bromodeoxyuridine (BrdU) monoclonal antibody was provided by Sigma,USA; mouse anti-rat nestin monoclonal antibody and extracellular signal-regulated protein kinase (ERK) specific inhibitor PD98059 were provided by Calbiochem,Germany; acupuncture needle was provided by Suzhou Acupuncture Supplies,China. METHODS:A total of 126 rats were randomly assigned to four groups:model (n = 36),Du meridian (n = 36),Ren/Du meridian (n = 36),and Ren/Du meridian + PD98059 (n = 18). Rats in the Ren /Du meridian + PD98059 group were observed on days 7 (n = 6) and 14 (n = 12) after cerebral ischemia injury. Rats in the model,Du meridian, and Ren/Du meridian groups were observed on days 7,14,and 28 after cerebral ischemia injury, with 12 rats per group at each time point. Thread occlusion was used to establish middle cerebral artery occlusion models. Electro-acupuncture was performed at Renzhong (DU 26) and Baihui (DU 20) acupoints in the Du meridian group,as well as Chengjiang (RN 24),Guanyuan (RN 4),Renzhong,and Baihui acupoints in the Ren/Du meridian and Ren/Du meridian + PD98059 groups 2 days after model establishment. In addition,electro-acupuncture stimulation with disperse-dense waves was performed, with 30 Hz disperse wave,100 Hz dense wave, and 5 V intensity for 20 minutes. Rats in the Ren/Du meridian + PD98059 group were treated with 0.2 μg PD98059 injection into the subventricular zone,2 μL per rat. Rats in the model group were not treated with electro-acupuncture. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:BrdU/nestin immunofluorescent staining was used to detect proliferating neural stem cells in the subventricular zone of cerebral ischemia rats; Western blot was used to determine phosphorylated ERK1 and 2 (pERK1/2) expression in the subventricular zone. RESULTS:On days 14 and 28 after cerebral ischemia, there were significantly more BrdU-positive and BrdU/nestin-positive cells in the Ren /Du meridian group compared with the Du meridian group (P < 0.05). PD98059 decreased the number of BrdU-positive and BrdU/nestin-positive cells induced by electro-acupuncture at the Ren and Du meridians (P < 0.05). On days 7,14,and 28 after treatment,pERK1/2 expression was significantly greater in the Du meridian and Ren/Du meridian groups compared with the model group (P < 0.05). The promoting effect of electro-acupuncture at Ren and Du meridians on ERK1/2 phosphorylation was superior to electro-acupuncture at the Du meridian alone on day 14 after model induction (P < 0.05). However,PD98059 completely abolished the promoting effect of electro-acupuncture at Ren/Du meridians on pERK1/2 expression (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION:Electro-acupuncture at Ren and Du meridians increased proliferation of subventricular zone neural stem cells, which was related to activation of the ERK pathway in a rat model of cerebral ischemia injury. | Wenshu Luo Haibo Yu Zhuoxin Yang Min Pi Lihong Diao Xiaodan Rao | 2010 | Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,6: | 14
Cooperative Vehicular Content Distribution in Edge Computing Assisted 5G-VANET显示文摘By leveraging the 5G enabled vehicular ad hoc network(5G-VANET), it is widely recognized that connected vehicles have the potentials to improve road safety, transportation intelligence and provide in-vehicle entertainment experience. However, many enabling applications in 5G-VANET rely on the efficient content sharing among mobile vehicles, which is a very challenging issue due to the extremely large data volume, rapid topology change, and unbalanced traffic. In this paper, we investigate content prefetching and distribution in 5G-VANET. We first introduce an edge computing based hierarchical architecture for efficient distribution of large-volume vehicular data. We then propose a multi-place multi-factor prefetching scheme to meet the rapid topology change and unbalanced traffic. The content requests of vehicles can be served by neighbors, which can improve the sharing efficiency and alleviate the burden of networks. Furthermore, we use a graph theory based approach to solve the content distribution by transforming it into a maximum weighted independent set problem. Finally, the proposed scheme is evaluated with a greedy transmission strategy to demonstrate its efficiency. | Guiyang Luo Quan Yuan Haibo Zhou Nan Cheng Zhihan Liu Fangchun Yang Xuemin (Sherman) Shen | 2018 | China Communications2018,15,7: | 13
Electro-acupuncture at Conception and Governor vessels and transplantation of umbilical cord bloodderived mesenchymal stem cells for treating cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury显示文摘Mesenchymal stem cell transplantation is a novel means of treating cerebral ischemia/reperfusion,and can promote angiogenesis and neurological functional recovery.Acupuncture at Conception and Governor vessels also has positive effects as a treatment for cerebral ischemia/reperfusion.Therefore,we hypothesized that electro-acupuncture at Conception and Governor vessels plus mesenchymal stem cell transplantation may have better therapeutic effects on the promotion of angiogenesis and recovery of neurological function than either treatment alone. In the present study, human umbilical cord blood-derived mesenchymal stem cells were isolated, cultured, identified and intracranially transplanted into the striatum and subcortex of rats at24 hours following cerebral ischemia/reperfusion.Subsequently,rats were electro-acupunctured at Conception and Governor vessels at 24 hours after transplantation.Modified neurological severity scores and immunohistochemistry findings revealed that the combined interventions of electro-acupuncture and mesenchymal stem cell transplantation clearly improved neurological impairment and up-regulated vascular endothelial growth factor expression around the ischemic focus. The combined intervention provided a better outcome than mesenchymal stem cell transplantation alone. These findings demonstrate that electro-acupuncture at Conception and Governor vessels and mesenchymal stem cell transplantation have synergetic effects on promoting neurological function recovery and angiogenesis in rats after cerebral ischemia/reperfusion. | Haibo Yu Pengdian Chen Zhuoxin Yang Wenshu Luo Min Pi Yonggang Wu Ling Wang | 2014 | Neural Regeneration Research2014,9,1: | 13
Predicting As,Cd and Pb uptake by rice and vegetables using field data from China显示文摘Plant uptake factor(PUF),single-variable regression of natural log-transformed concentrations in rice grain/vegetables versus natural log-transformed concentrations in soil and multiple-variable regression with soil concentrations and pH,was derived, validated and compared based on the paired crop and soil data collected from studies regarding As,Cd and Pb contaminated croplands in China. Results showed that the median value of PUF did not present deterministic prediction. But after natural logarithm transformation, the PUF followed Gaussian distribution which could be useful in risk assessment. The single-variable regression models were significant for As,Cd and Pb uptake both by rice and vegetables;however, the standard errors of all the regressions were comparatively large.Soil pH as a variable was generally significant but it only contributed positively to model fit for Cd uptake. After model comparison and selection, the upper 95% prediction limits of the multiple regression model for Cd uptake by rice was recommended to calculate screening value of Cd for paddy soil based on the limit for Cd concentration in rice grain. | Hongzhen Zhang Yongming Luo Jing Song Haibo Zhang Jiaqi Xia Qiguo Zhao | 2011 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,1: | 12
Landscape of DILI-related adverse drug reaction in China Mainland显示文摘Drug-induced liver injury(DILI)is a type of bizarre adverse drug reaction(ADR)damaging liver(L-ADR)which may lead to substantial hospitalizations and mortality.Due to the general low incidence, detection of L-ADR remains an unsolved public health challenge. Therefore,we used the data of 6.673 million of ADR reports from January 1st,2012 to December 31st,2016 in China National ADR Monitoring System to establish a new database of L-ADR reports for future investigation. Results showed that totally 114,357 ADR reports were retrieved by keywords searching of liver-related injuries from the original heterogeneous system.By cleaning and standardizing the data fields by the dictionary of synonyms and English translation,we resulted 94,593 ADR records reported to liver injury and then created a new database ready for computer mining. The reporting status of L-ADR showed a persistent 1.62-fold change over the past five years. The national population-adjusted reporting numbers of L-ADR manifested an upward trend with age increasing and more evident in men.The annual reporting rate of L-ADR in age group over 80 years old strikingly exceeded the annual DILI incidence rate in general population, despite known underreporting situation in spontaneous ADR reporting system. The percentage of herbal and traditional medicines(H/TM)L-ADR reports in the whole number was 4.5%,while 80.60%of the H/TM reports were new findings. There was great geographical disparity of reported agents,i.e.more cardiovascular and antineoplastic agents were reported in higher socio-demographic index(SDI)regions and more antimicrobials, especially antitubercular agents, were reported in lower SDI regions. In conclusion, this study presented a large-scale,unbiased,unified,and computer-minable L-ADR database for further investigation.Age-,sex-and SDI-related risks of L-ADR incidence warrant to emphasize the precise pharmacovigilance policies within China or other regions in the world. | Jiabo Wang Haibo Song Feilin Ge Peng Xiong Jing Jing Tingting He Yuming Guo Zhuo Shi Chao Zhou Zixin Han Yanzhong Han Ming Niu Zhaofang Bai Guangbin Luo Chuanyong Shen Xiaohe Xiao | 2022 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,12: | 12
Adsorption and desorption characteristics of diphenylarsenicals in two contrasting soils显示文摘Diphenylarsinic acid(DPAA) is formed during the leakage of aromatic arsenic chemical weapons in soils,is persistent in nature, and results in arsenic contamination in the field. The adsorption and desorption characteristics of DPAA were investigated in two typical Chinese soils,an Acrisol(a variable-charge soil) and a Phaeozem(a constant-charge soil).Their thermodynamics and some of the factors influencing them(i.e.,initial pH value, ionic strength and phosphate) were also evaluated using the batch method in order to understand the environmental fate of DPAA in soils. The results indicate that Acrisol had a stronger adsorption capacity for DPAA than Phaeozem.Soil DPAA adsorption was a spontaneous and endothermic process and the amount of DPAA adsorbed was affected significantly by variation in soil pH and phosphate. In contrast, soil organic matter and ionic strength had no significant effect on adsorption. This suggests that DPAA adsorption may be due to specific adsorption on soil mineral surfaces. Therefore, monitoring the fate of DPAA in soils is recommended in areas contaminated by leakage from chemical weapons. | Anan Wang Shixin Li Ying Teng Wuxin Liu Longhua Wu Haibo Zhang Yujuan Huang Yongming Luo Peter Christie | 2013 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,6: | 8

Pathological changes in the lungs and lymphatic organs of 12 COVID-19 autopsy cases显示文摘Systematic autopsy and comprehensive pathological analyses of COVID-19 decedents should provide insights into the disease characteristics and facilitate the development of novel therapeutics. In this study,we report the autopsy findings from the lungs and lymphatic organs of 12 COVID-19 decedents—findings that evaluated histopathological changes;immune cell signature and inflammatory factor expression in the lungs, spleen and lymph nodes. Here we show that the major pulmonary alterations included diffuse alveolar damage, interstitial fibrosis and exudative inflammation featured with extensive serous and fibrin exudates, macrophage infiltration and abundant production of inflammatory factors(IL-6,IP-10,TNFo?and IL-I f).The spleen and hilar lymph nodes contained lesions with tissue structure disruption and immune cell dysregulation, including lymphopenia and macrophage accumulation. These findings provide pathological evidence that links injuries of the lungs and lymphatic organs with the fatal systematic respiratory and immune malfunction in critically ill COVID-19 patients. | Qian Liu Yu Shi Jun Cai Yaqi Duan Rongshuai Wang Hongyan Zhang Qiurong Ruan Jiansha Li Lei Zhao Yifang Ping Rong Chen Liang Ren Xiaochun Fei Heng Zhang Rui Tang Xi Wang Tao Luo Xindong Liu Xuequan Huang Zhenhua Liu Qilin Ao Yong Ren Jing Xiong Zhicheng He Haibo Wu Wenjuan Fu Pengnan Zhao Xinwei Chen Guoqiang Qu Yunyun Wang Xi Wang Jia Liu Dongfang Xiang Sanpeng Xu Xiaowei Zhou Qingrui Li Jinghong Ma Heng Li Jie Zhang Sizhe Huang Xiaohong Yao Yiwu Zhou Chaofu Wang Dingyu Zhang Guoping Wang Liang Liu Xiu-Wu Bian | 2020 | National Science Review2020,7,12: | 6
Combinatorial effects of conception and governor vessel electroacu-puncture and human umbilical cord blood-derived mesenchymal stem cells on pathomorphologic lesion and cellular apoptosis in rats with cerebral ischemia/reperfusion显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the combinatorial effects of conception and governor vessel electroacupuncture(EA) and human umbilical cord blood-derived mesenchymal stem cells(HUCB-MSCs) on pathomorphologic lesion and cellular apoptosis in rats with cerebral ischemia/reperfusion. METHODS: With the HUCB-MSCs isolated, cultured and identified and the models of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion established, the HUCB-MSCs of passage three were intracranially transplanted and the EA at conception and governor vessels was applied. The pathomorphologic lesion by hematoxylin-eosin staining and the cellular apoptosis by terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated nick-end labeling method around the ischemic focus were observed. RESULTS: The cultured adherent HUCB-MSCs exhibited a spindle shape and expressed MSC-specific markers, with the cell purity and proliferation rate significantly increasing after the primary passage. HE staining showed that there were no pathological changes observed in the sham surgery group. However, in the PBS transplantation group, degeneration and necrosis of a great number of nerve cells were seen. In both the HUCB-MSCs transplantation group and the HUCB-MSCs transplantation + EA group, reparative changes of the pathomorphism of the tissue were found. Both combination treatment and simple MSCs treatment were able to improve the pathomorphorlogic lesion following cerebral ischemia and reduce the abnormal TUNEL-positive numbers, with former better than latter. CONCLUSION: HUCB-MSCs improve pathological lesions and inhibit the cellular apoptosis around the cerebral ischemic area. EA at conception and governor vessels also improve pathological lesion and inhibit the cellular apoptosis in rats treated with HUCB-MSCs transplantation, which effects were superior to that of simple HUCB-MSCs transplantation. | Zhuoxin Yang Pengdian Chen Haibo Yu Wenshu Luo Min Pi Yonggang Wu Ling Wang Fuxia Yang Yanhua Gou | 2013 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2013,33,6: | 5
In - Depth Colloidal Dispersion Gels Improve Oil Recovery Efficiency显示文摘Daqing Oilfield has carried out the production of polymer flooding was promoted since in 1996. Presently, polymer flooding is very successful in several production plants of Daqing Oilfield, and getting into industrialization production. It has played a very important role in maintaining the oilfield stable production of over 50 million tons of oil. But the high permeability variation is serious, resulting in polymer production in some production wells recylingly and production concentration increasing slowly, which adversely affects polymer flooding efficiency. Chlloid dispersion gels (CDG) is a unique in - depth permeability modification process. It can reduce in - depth reservoir permeability variation by moving into highly permeable, water saturated zones and providing high resistance to subsequent water injection in those zones, so that oil can be produced from tighter rock. So CDG can enlarge volumetric sweep, and improve oil recovery efficiency. We had a CDG pilot programme in Daqing Oil Field in 1999, now this pilot has been entering into effective period with produing more oil and less water. | Luo Jiangtao Yang Haibo Wu Tianhu Xiao Long | 2000 | Global Geology2000,5,2: | 5

Effect of Preparation Process on Compressive Strength and Hydrogenation Performance of Raney-Ni/Al2O3 Catalyst显示文摘In this study, Raney-Ni/Al_2O_3 catalysts were prepared from precursors which were calcined in different atmosphere(argon and air) and leached for different time. XRD, SEM, H_2-TPR and BET techniques were introduced to characterize the catalysts, and hydrogenation of unsaturated hydrocarbons, including vinyltoluene, dicyclopentadiene and indene, was used as probe reaction to evaluate the catalytic hydrogenation performance of the catalysts. The results demonstrated that the calcination atmosphere had noticeable effects on the compressive strength and hydrogenation performance of Raney-Ni/Al_2O_3. The catalyst calcined in argon exhibited better compressive strength and catalytic performance than the one calcined in air. The compressive strength and activity stability of catalyst were also determined by the leaching time. A too longer leaching time was not conducive to improving the compressive strength and catalytic performance of catalysts. When the precursor calcined in argon was treated in a 15%(by wt.) sodium hydroxide solution at 343 K for 5 h, a catalyst with higher compressive strength(at 26.10 N/mm) was obtained and the conversion of vinyltoluene, dicyclopentadiene(DCPD), and indene could amount to more than 87.5%, 99% and even 100%, respectively, under the reaction conditions covering a temperature of 493 K, a hydrogen pressure of 2.0 MPa, a LSHV of 3.0 h^(-1), and a hydrogen/oil ratio of 200:1. | Luo Guohua Wang Yanli Sun Daming Xu Xin Jin Haibo | 2017 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2017,19,2: | 5
Great progress in developing 500 MHz single cell superconducting cavity in China显示文摘Superconducting cavities have been adopted in many kinds of accelerator facilities such as synchrotron radiation light source, hard X-ray free electron laser linac, colliders and energy recovery linacs (ERL). The 500 MHz superconducting cavities will be a candidate to be installed in the high current accelerators and high current ERLs for their large beam aperture, low higher order modes impedance and high current threshold value. This paper presents great progress in the whole sequence of developing 500 MHz superconducting cavity in China. It describes the first in-house successful development of 500 MHz single cell superconducting cavity including the deep-drawing of niobium half cells, electron beam wielding of cavity, surface preparations and vertical testing. | 15 | Coprinus comatus-derived nitrogen-containing biocarbon electrocatalyst with the addition of self-generating graphene-like support for superior oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘The development of nitrogen-rich biomassderived carbon catalysts provides an attractive perspective to substitute for Pt-based electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR). We here report a facile strategy for synthesis of a nitrogen-doped biocarbon/graphene-like composite electrocatalyst by pyrolyzing a solid-state mixture of coprinus comatus biomass and melamine under nitrogen protection. The graphtic carbon nitride formed by polycondensation of melamine at 600 °C acts as a selfsacrificing template to generate the nitrogen-doped graphene-like sheet, which can function as an inserting agent and self-generating support. The composite catalyst exhibits the most promising catalytic activity towards the fourelectron ORR with a half-wave potential of around 0.83 V(vs. RHE), and more excellent stability and tolerance to methanol/ethanol compared to the commercial Pt/C catalyst. It is interestingly found that both a higher content of nitrogen and a larger ratio of graphitic-nitrogen species, which may derive from self-addition of graphene-like support into the catalyst, can effectively improve the electrocatalytic activity. The planar N group may be the nitrogen functionality that is most responsible for maintaining the ORR activity in alkaline medium. This study can largely encourage the exploration of high-performance carbon-based catalysts from economical and sustainable fungus biomass. | Chaozhong Guo Wenli Liao Zhongbin Li Lingtao Sun Haibo Ruan Qingshan Wu Qinghong Luo Jie Huang Changguo Chen | 2016 | Science Bulletin2016,61,12: | 4
Electroacupuncture at Du channel and meridian of foot-Taiyang for hippocampal neurons in rats with depression显示文摘BACKGROUND: Long-term anti-depression treatment can promote the regeneration of hippocampal regeneration. Up-regulation of hippocampal regeneration can reverse or prevent against the injury of stress to cerebrum, especially to hippocampal structure and function. Therefore, promoting hippocampal neuronal regeneration may be a new strategy for treating depression and anxiety. OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of electro-acupuncture at Du channel and meridian of foot-Taiyang on hippocampal neurons from model rats of depression. DESIGN: A randomized controlled animal experiment. SETTING: Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion,Shenzhen Affiliated Hospital,Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. MATERIALS: Twenty-four Wistar rats,of either gender, aged 2 months old, weighing 200-220 g,were provided by the Animal Experimental Center,Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. METHODS: This experiment was carried out in the Clinical Molecular Biochemical Laboratory,Shenzhen Affiliated Hospital,Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine between October 2006 and April 2007. ①The involved rats were randomized into 4 groups according to body mass: blank control group, model group, electroacupuncture A group and electroacupuncture B group, with 6 in each. Rats in the blank control group were free to access to water, and were not given any intervention. Rats in the latter 3 groups were developed into rat depression models by chronic stress combined with feeding alone, and received 21-day unpredictable various stresses. Rats in the model group were euthanized at 14 days after modeling, and their brain tissues were harvested. Rats in the electroacupuncture A group were modeled, then points 'Baihui' and 'Shenting' were chosen, and given electroacupuncture, once a day,20 minutes once. Rats in the electroacupuncture B group were modeled, then points 'Baihui','Shenting','Xinshu'and 'Ganshu' were chosen, and frequency and therapeutic time were the same as those of electroacupuncture A group. Rats in the latter 2 groups were also given electroacupuncture, and their brain tissues were harvested 14 days later. ②Index evaluation: Neurons in hippocampal CA1 and CA3 regions as well as dentate gyrus neuron specific enolase (NSE)-positive cells were counted by immunofluorescent technique. Each rat was weighted on the day of grouping and before execution at 35 days. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Neuron amount in each hippocampal region and body mass of rats in each group. RESULTS: Twenty-four rats were involved in the final analysis. ①Neuronal amount in each region of hippocampus: Neurons in the hippocampal CA1 and CA3 regions as well as dentate gyrus of rats in the model group were significantly less than those in the blank control group (P < 0.01). Neurons in hippocampal CA1and CA3 regions as well as dentate gyrus of rats in the electroacupuncture A and B groups were more than those in the model group (P < 0.05). ② Change in body mass of rats: Body mass increase of rats in the model group was less than that in the blank control group (P < 0.05),and body mass increase of electroacupuncture A and B groups was significantly more than that in the model group, respectively (P < 0.01). CONCLUSION: Electroacupuncture at Du channel and meridian of foot-Taiyang alleviates hippocampal neuronal injury of rats, and thereby, improves depression and promotes the increase of body mass of rats. | Min Pi Wenshu Luo Lihong Diao Xiaodan Rao Haibo Yu Zhuoxin Yang | 2007 | Neural Regeneration Research2007,2,6: | 2

Kinetic and Thermodynamic Studies on Raney Ni/Al2O3 Adsorption for Deep Desulfurization of Benzene Stream显示文摘How to remove trace amount of sulfur in benzene is of significance, and deep desulfurization by Ni-containing absorbents is an efficient and promising method. In this paper,The Raney Ni/Al2 O3 adsorbent was prepared and its kinetic and thermodynamic characteristics on adsorptive desulfurization of benzene were studied. The results showed that Raney Ni/Al2 O3 adsorbent exhibited good adsorption performance. The equilibrium isotherms indicated that the adsorption of thiophene over the Raney Ni/Al2 O3 adsorbent complied with the Freundlich model. The results of adsorption kinetics studies showed that the pseudo-second-order kinetics equation was more advantageous than the pseudo-first-order kinetics equation in describing the adsorption kinetics of thiophene on Raney Ni/Al2 O3.The rate constant value(kp)was positively correlated with the temperature whereas the adsorption mass transfer process was mainly determined by the intraparticle and film diffusion. The adsorption thermodynamic analysis proved that△G^0<0,△H^0>0,and△S^0>0,implying that the adsorption was a spontaneous,entropy-increasing and endothermic process. | Cao Yongzheng Luo Guohua Zhang Lanxi Xu Xin Jin Haibo Dong Sen Guo Xuehua | 2020 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2020,22,2: | 2
