1肉用犊牛源产气荚膜梭菌的分离鉴定与药敏试验显示文摘为了确定宜春市肉牛犊牛腹泻的发病原因,试验采用牛腹泻五联病原体快速诊断试剂盒初步检验9头腹泻犊牛的粪便样品,对试剂盒检测为阳性的样品进行细菌的分离、纯化、生化鉴定和药敏试验。结果表明:使用牛腹泻五联病原体快速诊断试剂盒检测到有7份产气荚膜梭菌为阳性,2份大肠杆菌为阳性;细菌分离培养、生化鉴定结果符合产气荚膜梭菌的特性;青霉素、呋喃唑酮、多西环素和苯唑西林等药物能够明显抑制分离菌的生长。说明产气荚膜梭菌感染是引起犊牛腹泻的主要原因。张伟锋 郑文亚 丁松林 伍钢 Hamad ALI HAMAD 彭侃霖 刘犇 2019黑龙江畜牧兽医2019,0,14:6
2赣西地区山羊肠道寄生虫感染情况调查显示文摘为了分析赣西地区山羊肠道寄生虫病的发生规律,试验采集宜春市和萍乡市养殖场肉用山羊粪便,随机抽取羊粪312份,通过饱和蔗糖溶液漂浮法、甲醛-乙酸乙酯-改良抗酸染色法、卢戈氏碘液染色法及显微镜观察技术进行寄生虫的分离鉴定。结果表明:检查的312份粪样,寄生虫的总体及混合感染率分别为87.18%和30.77%,其中绦虫、隐孢子虫、吸虫的感染率较低,分别为4.17%、17.95%和20.51%,线虫及球虫的感染率较高,分别为57.05%和68.27%,没有检出寄生虫的仅40份。检查到的寄生虫种类有肝片吸虫、类圆线虫、前后盘吸虫、网尾线虫、莫尼茨绦虫、毛首线虫、艾美耳球虫、矛形歧腔吸虫,其中艾美耳球虫、类圆线虫和网尾线虫检出率较高。说明应加强对球虫和线虫这两种优势虫种的驱虫和防治工作。康劲文 郑文亚 吴青青 温宇婷 袁斌 Hamad Ali Hamad Habiba Mkombe Pandu 刘犇 2018黑龙江畜牧兽医2018,0,20:6
3Liver transplantation for hepatitis B virus: Decreasing indication and changing trends显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the indication and outcome of hepatitis B virus(HBV)-related liver transplantation(LT) in the era of newer antiviral agents.METHODS: We collected data on all patients who underwent transplantation at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center.These data included demographic,perioperative and long-term postoperative follow-up data including viral serological markers,HBV DNA,and repeated liver imaging.Between January 1990 and January 2012,133 patients(106 males and 27 females) underwent LT for HBV-related cirrhosis at our center.All patients were followed up frequently during the first year following transplantation,according to our standard protocol; follow-up visits occurred every 3-6 mo thereafter.Breakthrough infection was definedas re-emergence of HBV-DNA or hepatitis B surface antigen(HBs Ag) while on treatment.Five patients transplanted prior to 1992 did not receive immediate posttransplant anti-HBV prophylaxis; all other patients were treated with HBIG and at least one nucleos(t)ide analog.RESULTS: One hundred and thirty-three patients underwent LT for HBV and were followed for a median of 82 mo(range: 1-274).The rates of post-LT survival and HBV recurrence during the follow-up period were 89% and 11%,respectively.The following factors were associated with disease recurrence: younger age(44.3 ± 16.2 years vs 51.4 ± 9.9 years,P = 0.02),positive pretransplant hepatitis B e antigen(HBe Ag)(60% vs 14%,P < 0.0001),detectable pretransplant HBV DNA(60% vs 27%,P = 0.03),positive posttransplant HBs Ag(80% vs 4%,P < 0.0001) and positive posttransplant HBe Ag(27% vs 1%,P < 0.0001).Forty-four(33%) patients had hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).In the first(pre-2007) group,HBV was the second leading indication for LT after hepatitis C virus infection.A total of 64 transplants were performed,including 46(72%) for decompensated HBV cirrhosis,12(19%) for decompensated cirrhosis complicated by HCC and 6(10%) for compensated cirrhosis complicated by HCC.In the second group,nonalcoholic steatohepatitis surpassed HBV as the second leading indication for LT.A total of 69 HBV related transplants were performed,including 43(62%) for decompensated HBV cirrhosis,7(10%) for decompensated cirrhosis complicated by HCC and 19(27.5%) for compensated cirrhosis complicated by HCC.There was a significant(P = 0.007) increase in the number of transplants for compensated cirrhosis complicated by HCC.CONCLUSION: The use of potent anti-HBV agents has led to a changing trend in the indications for LT.HBV is currently the third leading indication for LT in this hyperendemic area.Waleed Al-hamoudi Hussien Elsiesy Abdulrahman Bendahmash Nasser Al-masri Safiyya Ali Naglaa Allam Mohammed Al Sofayan Hamad Al Bahili Mohammed Al Sebayel Dieter Broering Sammy Saab Faisal Abaalkhail 2015World Journal of Gastroenterology2015,21,26:4
4Clinical outcomes of transepithelial photorefractive keratectomy versus femtosecond laser assisted keratomileusis for correction of high myopia in South Egyptian population显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the safety and efficacy of transepithelial photorefractive keratectomy(t-PRK) with adjuvant mitomycin C(MMC) versus femtosecond laser assisted keratomileusis(Femto-LASIK) in correction of high myopia.METHODS: Prospective randomized comparative study including 156 eyes of 156 patients with high myopia and a spherical equivalent refraction(SER) <-6.00 D. They were divided randomly into two groups: Group A included 72 eyes treated with t-PRK with adjuvant MMC and Group B included 84 eyes treated with Femto-LASIK. Visual acuity, SER, corneal topography, pachymetry and keratometry were assessed for 12 mo postoperatively.RESULTS: The preoperative mean SER was-8.86±1.81 and-9.25±1.70 D in t-PRK MMC group and Femto-LASIK respectively(P=0.99) which improved to-0.65±0.43 D and-0.69±0.50 D at 12 mo follow up. Mean SER remained stable during the 12 mo of follow-up, with no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P=0.64). In t-PRK MMC group, only six eyes needed retreatment after six months of follow up. 5Climate change impact and adaptation on wheat yield, water use and water use efficiency at North Nile Delta显示文摘Investigation of climate change impacts on food security has become a global hot spot.Even so,efforts to mitigate these issues in arid regions have been insufficient.Thus,in this paper,further research is discussed based on data obtained from various crop and climate models.Two DSSATcrop models(CMs)(CERESWheat and N-Wheat)were calibrated with two wheat cultivars(Gemiza9 and Misr1).A baseline simulation(1981-2010)was compared with different scenarios of simulations using three Global Climate Models(GCMs)for the 2030s,2050s and 2080s.Probable impacts of climate change were assessed using the GCMs and CMs under the high emission Representative Concentration Pathway(RCP8.5).Results predicted decreased wheat grain yields by a mean of 8.7%,11.4%and 13.2%in the 2030s,2050s and 2080s,respectively,relative to the baseline yield.Negative impacts of climatic change are probable,despite some uncertainties within the GCMs(i.e.,2.1%,5.0%and 8.0%)and CMs(i.e.,2.2%,6.0%and 9.2%).Changing the planting date with a scenario of plus or minus 5 or 10 days from the common practice was assessed as a potentially effective adaptation option,which may partially offset the negative impacts of climate change.Delaying the sowing date by 10 days(from 20 November to 30 November)proved the optimum scenario and decreased further reduction in wheat yields resulting from climate change to 5.2%,6.8%and 8.5%in the 2030s,2050s and 2080s,respectively,compared with the 20 November scenario.The planting 5-days earlier scenario showed a decreased impact on climate change adaptation.However,the 10-days early planting scenario increased yield reduction under projected climate change.The cultivar Misr1 was more resistant to rising temperature than Gemiza9.Despite the negative impacts of projected climate change on wheat production,water use efficiency would slightly increase.The ensemble of multi-model estimated impacts and adaptation uncertainties of climate change can assist decision-makers in planning climate adaptation strategies.Marwa Gamal Mohamed Ali Mahmoud Mohamed Ibrahim Ahmed El Baroudy Michael Fullen El-Said Hamad Omar Zheli Ding Ahmed Mohammed Saad Kheir 2020Frontiers of Earth Science2020,14,3:2

13Ferrara ring segments implantation for treating keratoconus显示文摘AIM: To investigate the efficacy of Ferrara rings (FR) implantation in the treatment of keratoconus.METHODS: It was a retrospective case series descriptive study. The sample was comprised of 50 patients 79 eyes diagnosed with progressive keratoconus. This included 24 (48%) males and 26 (52%) females between the age of 13 and 44 years. All participants underwent surgical implantation of FR in the period between January 2009 and September 2010 at Jordan University Hospital. Thorough ophthalmologic examinations were applied to measure vital variables for each pathological condition before and after surgery. RESULTS: Findings indicated an overall significant postoperative improvement in both uncorrected visual acuity (UCVA) and best spectacle corrected visual acuity (BSCVA) throughout follow up visits. Moreover, results illustrated a significant decrease in spherical equivalent (SE) and keratometric readings (lower, higher and the average). CONCLUSION: Surgical intervention strategies are being frequently developed to meet the needs of patients with keratoconus. The implantation of Ferrara rings has proven to be a safe and feasible alternative procedure for the treatment of mild-moderate keratoconus especially for patients with contact lenses intolerance. We have found that this procedure has improved visual outcomes in all eyes studied. 16A New Hybrid System Design for Thermal Energy Storage显示文摘Due to some serious environmental problems like global warming and greenhouse effect,studies on solar energy systems are being conducted all over the world.The studies conducted in recent years are on hybrid designs in which solar energy systems can realize both electricity and heat production at the same time.In this way,both electrical energy and heat energy can be generated from the same system In this study,the design and analysis of a concentrated solar air collector with a heat storage unit were carried out.In the solar air collector,heat energy was depot in paraffin wax,and the electrical energy which was stored in the battery using the PV(photovoltaic)modules in the system enabled the operation of the system fan.The experiments which aimed at determining system performance were carried out in winter when the ambient temperature was low.The experiments were performed with or without a heat storage unit,and a comparative analysis was made.It was found that the temperature of the air released from the collector ranged from 15°C to 40°C when the exterior temperature was-5°C.The average efficiency of the concentrated system without the heat storage unit was calculated as 67%.The average efficiency of the concentrated system with the heat storage unit was calculated as 96%.CEYLA Ilhan ALI Ismail Hamad Guma ERGUN Alper GUREL Ali Etem ACAR Bahadir iSLAM Nurse 2020Journal of Thermal Science2020,29,5:1
