| 2 | Inulin Can Alleviate Metabolism Disorders in ob/ob Mice by Partially Restoring Leptinrelated Pathways Mediated by Gut Microbiota显示文摘Inulin has been used as a prebiotic to alleviate glucose and lipid metabolism disorders in mice and humans by modulating the gut microbiota. However, the mechanism underlying the alleviation of metabolic disorders by inulin through interactions between the gut microbiota and host cells is unclear. We use ob/ob mice as a model to study the effect of inulin on the cecal microbiota by16 S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing and its interaction with host cells by transcriptomics. The inulin-supplemented diet improved glucose and lipid metabolism disorder parameters in ob/ob mice,alleviating fat accumulation and glucose intolerance. The a diversity of gut microbial community of ob/ob mice was reduced after inulin treatment, while the b diversity tended to return to the level of wild type mice. Interestingly, Prevotellaceae UCG 001(family Prevotellaceae) was obviously enriched after inulin treatment. A comparative analysis of the gene expression profile showed that the cecal transcriptome was changed in leptin gene deficiency mice, whereas the inulin-supplemented diet partially reversed the changes in leptin gene-related signaling pathways, especially AMPK signaling pathway, where the levels of gene expression became comparable to those in wild type mice.Further analysis indicated that Prevotellaceae UCG 001 was positively correlated with the AMPK signaling pathway, which was negatively correlated with markers of glycolipid metabolism disorders. | 4 | Spatial and Temporal Evolution of Surface Subsidence in Tianjin from 2015 to 2020 Based on SBAS-InSAR Technology显示文摘Tianjin is one of the inland cities with the most severe cases of subsidence hazard in China.The majority of the existing studies have mainly focused on Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,and little attention has been given to Tianjin.In addition,these existing studies are short-term investigations,lacking long-term monitoring of surface subsidence.In the present study,we use the Small Baseline Subset Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar(SBAS-InSAR)technique to monitor the subsidence process in Tianjin between 2015 and 2020 and reveal its spatial and temporal variation.We divided the 44-view Sentinel-1A image data into three periods to avoid the effect of temporal and spatial decoherence by extracting the surface deformation field in Tianjin.We finally verified the accuracy and reliability of the inversion results using second-order leveling data.Results showed that the correlation coefficient r between the two reached 0.89,and the root mean square error was 4.84 mm/y.Obvious subsidence funnels exist in Tianjin,mainly in the towns of Wangqingtuo and Shengfang.These subsidence funnels have a subsidence deformation rate of-136.2 mm/y and a maximum cumulative settlement of-346.3 mm within the study period.The subsidence area tends to extend to the southwest.The analysis of annual rainfall,groundwater resource extraction,spatial location distribution of industrial areas combined with SBAS-InSAR inversion results indicates that overextraction of groundwater resources is the main cause of land subsidence in the area.Therefore,strict control of groundwater extraction is the main approach to mitigate land subsidence effectively. | Lyu ZHOU Yizhan ZHAO Zilin ZHU Chao REN Fei YANG Ling HUANG Xin LI | 2022 | Journal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science2022,5,1: | 8 |
| 5 | Long-term outcomes of staged recanalization for concurrent chronic total occlusion in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction after primary percutaneous coronary intervention显示文摘Background In patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI)who undergo primary percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI),approximately 10%are concomitant with a chronic total occlusion(CTO)in a non-culprit vessel.However,the impact of staged CTO recanalization on prognosis in this cohort remains disputable.This study aimed to compare the long-term outcomes of staged CTO recanalization versus medical therapy in patients with STEMI after primary PCI.Methods Between January 2005 and December 2016,a total of 287 patients were treated with staged CTO-PCI(n=91)or medical therapy(n=196)after primary PCI in our center.The primary endpoint was major adverse cardiovascular and cerebrovascular event(MACCE),defined as a composite of all-cause death,nonfatal myocardial infarction(MI),stroke or unplanned revascularization.After propensity-score matching,77 pairs of well-balanced patients were identified.Results The mean follow-up period was 6.06 years.Overall,the incidence of the primary endpoint of MACCE was significantly lower in staged CTO-PCI group than that in medical therapy group in both overall population(22.0%vs.46.9%;hazard ratio(HR)=0.48,95%CI:0.29-0.77)and propensity-matched cohorts(22.1%vs.42.9%;HR:0.48,95%CI:0.27-0.86).In addition,staged CTO-PCI was also associated with reduced risk of the composite of cardiac death,nonfatal MI or stroke compared with medical therapy in both overall population(9.9%vs.26.5%;hazard ratio(HR)=0.39,95%CI:0.19-0.79)and propensity-matched cohorts(9.1%vs.22.1%;HR:0.40,95%CI:0.16-0.96).After correction of the possible confounders,staged CTO-PCI was independently associated with reduced risks of MACCE(adjusted HR:0.46,95%CI:0.28-0.75),the composite of cardiac death,nonfatal MI or stroke(adjusted HR:0.45,95%CI:0.22-0.94)and all-cause mortality(adjusted HR:0.32,95%CI:0.13-0.83).Moreover,the results of sensitivity analysis were almost concordant with the overall analysis.Conclusions In patients with STEMI and a concurrent CTO who undergo primary PCI,successful staged recanalization of CTO in the non-culprit vessels is associated with better clinical outcomes during long-term follow-up. | Kong-Yong CUI Fei YUAN Hong LIU Feng XU Min ZHANG Wei WANG Ming-Duo ZHANG Yun-Lu WANG Dong-Feng ZHANG Xiao ZHANG Jin-Fan TIAN Shu-Zheng LYU | 2020 | Journal of Geriatric Cardiology2020,17,1: | 8 |

| 7 | Key determinants of misdiagnosis of tracheobronchial tuberculosis among senile patients in contemporary clinical practice:A retrospective analysis显示文摘BACKGROUND Tracheobronchial tuberculosis(TBTB)is a common subtype of pulmonary tuberculosis.Concomitant diseases often obscure the diagnosis of senile TBTB.AIM To characterize senile patients with TBTB and to identify the potential causes of misdiagnosis.METHODS One hundred twenty patients with senile TBTB who were admitted to the Anhui Chest hospital between May 2017 and May 2019 were retrospectively analyzed.Patients were classified as diagnosed group(n=58)and misdiagnosed group(n=62).Clinical manifestations,laboratory results,radiographic data,and endoscopic findings were compared between the two groups.RESULTS Patients in the misdiagnosed group were most commonly diagnosed as pulmonary tuberculosis(non-TBTB,29/62,46.8%),general pneumonia(9/62,14.5%),chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(8/62,12.9%),and tracheobronchial carcinoma(7/62,11.3%).The time elapsed between disease onset and confirmation of diagnosis was significantly longer in the misdiagnosed group[median(first quartile,third quartile):6.32(4.94,16.02)mo vs 3.73(2.37,8.52)mo].The misdiagnosed group had lower proportion of patients who underwent bronchoscopy[33.87%(21/62)vs 87.93%(51/58)],chest computed tomography(CT)scan[69.35%(43/62)vs 98.28%(57/58)],and those who showed CT signs of tuberculosis[27.91%(12/62)vs 50%(29/58)]as compared to that in the diagnosed group(P<0.05).There were no significant between-group differences with respect to age,gender,occupation,clinical manifestations,or prevalence of comorbid chronic diseases(P>0.05).CONCLUSION Insufficient or inaccurate radiographic or bronchoscopic assessment was the predominant cause of delayed diagnosis of TBTB.Increased implementation and better interpretation of CT scan and early implementation of bronchoscopy can help reduce misdiagnosis of senile TBTB. | Fei Tang Lian-Jun Lin Shu-Liang Guo Wei Ye Xian-Kui Zha Yu Cheng Ying-Feng Wu Yue-Ming Wang Xiao-Mei Lyu Xiao-Yun Fan Li-Ping Lyu | 2021 | World Journal of Clinical Cases2021,9,25: | 6 |
