4Overexpression of ADAM9 in non-small cell lung cancer correlates with brain metastasis显示文摘The 'a disintegrin and metalloprotease' (ADAM) family contributes to regulation of the cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions that are critical determinants of malignancy. To determine the relationship between metastasis and ADAM proteins, we compared the mRNA levels of ADAM9,-10,-12,-15, and-17 in sublines of an EBC-1 lung cancer cell line that were highly metastatic to either brain or bone. ADAM9 mRNA levels were significantly higher in highly brain-metastatic sublines than in the parent or highly bonemetastalic sublines. To elucidate the role ofADAM9 in brain metastasis, we stably transfected A549 and EBC-1 cells with a fulllength ADAM9 expression vector. 6飞秒激光参数对石英玻璃微孔加工的影响显示文摘微孔加工是微器件加工中的重要环节,飞秒激光的强烈非线性吸收和'冷加工'特性使其在玻璃微纳加工方面有独特的优势和应用前景。选用石英玻璃作为试验材料,研究飞秒激光参数对微孔深径比及形貌的影响。结果表明,飞秒激光脉冲能量、打孔速度对微孔深径比存在较大影响。随着激光能量和打孔速度的增加,微孔深径比均呈现减小趋势。通过选择适当参数,可以获得深径比大于25∶1且孔形较好、无明显裂纹的长直微孔。为了获得更好的聚焦效果,采用倍频晶体BBO获得了400 nm波长的飞秒激光。用相同聚焦透镜时400 nm飞秒激光加工的微孔比800 nm更小。此外,也对飞秒激光微孔加工中常见的缺陷进行了分析。邢松龄 刘磊 邹贵生 张学谦 白海林 Y N Zhou 2015中国激光2015,42,4:31

11Role of the Ilizarov non-free bone plasty in the management of long bone defects and nonunion: Problems solved and unsolved显示文摘BACKGROUND Ilizarov non-free bone plasty is a method of distraction osteogenesis using the Ilizarov apparatus for external fixation which originated in Russia and was disseminated across the world. It has been used in long bone defect and nonunion management along with free vascularized grafting and induced membrane technique. However, the shortcomings and problems of these methods still remain the issues which restrict their overall use.AIM To study the recent available literature on the role of Ilizarov non-free bone plasty in long bone defect and nonunion management, its problems and the solutions to these problems in order to achieve better treatment outcomes.METHODS Three databases(Pub Med, Scopus, and Web of Science) were searched for literature sources on distraction osteogenesis, free vascularized grafting and induced membrane technique used in long bone defect and nonunion treatment within a five-year period(2015-2019). Full-text clinical articles in the English language were selected for analysis only if they contained treatment results,complications and described large patient samples(not less than ten cases for congenital, post-tumor resection cases or rare conditions, and more than 20 cases for the rest). Case reports were excluded.RESULTS Fifty full-text articles and reviews on distraction osteogenesis were chosen.Thirty-five clinical studies containing large series of patients treated with this method and problems with its outcome were analyzed. It was found that distraction osteogenesis techniques provide treatment for segmental bone defects and nonunion of the lower extremity in many clinical situations, especially in complex problems. The Ilizarov techniques treat the triad of problems simultaneously(bone loss, soft-tissue loss and infection). Management of tibial defects mostly utilizes the Ilizarov circular fixator. Monolateral fixators are preferable in the femur. The use of a ring fixator is recommended in patients with an infected tibial bone gap of more than 6 cm. High rates of successful treatment were reported by the authors that ranged from 77% to 100% and depended on the pathology and the type of Ilizarov technique used. Hybrid fixation and autogenous grafting are the most applicable solutions to avoid after-frame regenerate fracture or deformity and docking site nonunion.CONCLUSION The role of Ilizarov non-free bone plasty has not lost its significance in the treatment of segmental bone defects despite the shortcomings and treatment problems encountered.Dmitry Y Borzunov Sergei N Kolchin Tatiana A Malkova 2020World Journal of Orthopedics2020,11,6:13

14Hypofractionated stereotactic rad iotherapy alone without whole-brain irradiation for patien ts with solitary and oligo brain metastasis using noninvasive fixation of the skull显示文摘To evaluate the efficacy and toxicity of hypofractionated stereotactic radiotherapy(HSRT)using noninvasive fixation of the sk ull on solitary or oligo brain metastatic p atients as an alternative to stereotactic radiosurgery(SRS)using invasive fixation.The subjects were 87patients who had 4or fewer brain meta stases(50solitary,37oligometastases).Treatment was conducted on 159meta stases by using a linac-based stereotactic system.T he median isocentric dose was 35Gy in4fractions.Whole-brain irradiati on was not applied as an initial treatment.For the salvage treatmen t of metachronous brain metastases,repeat HSRT or whole-brain irradiation was applied.The actuarial1-year local tumor control rate was 81%.Treatment-related complicatio ns were observed in 4patients in the e arly period(<3months)and in 2patients in the late period.T he median survival period was 8.7mon ths.Metachronous brain metastases occurred in 30patients,and none of the 18patients who were eligible for salvage HSRT refused to re ceive it again.Hypofractionated stereotactic radiotherapy achieved tumor control and survival equivalent to those of SRS reported i n the literature.The results suggested that HSRT could be an alternative for solitary or oligo br ain metastatic patients with less to xicity and less invasiveness compared toAoyama H Shirato H Onimaru R Kagei K Ikeda J Ishii N Sawamura Y Miyasaka K 2003癌症2003,22,7:12

18Polymorphisms of MTHFD,plasma homocysteine levels, and risk of gastric cancer in ahigh-risk Chinese population显示文摘Purpose:Accumulative evidence suggests that folate has a protective effect on gastric cancer. The methylenetetrahyd-rofolate dlehydrogenase(MTHFD) plays an important role in folate and homocysteine metabolisms, and polymorphisms of MTHFD may result in disturbance of the folate-mediated homocysteine pathway. The aim of this study is to test the hypothesis that genetic variants of MTHFD and plasma homocysteine levels are associated with risk of gastric cancer and modulated by genotypes of methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase(MTHFR). Experimental Design: We genotyped G1958A and T401C in MTHFD and C677T in MTHFR and detected total plasma homocysteine(tHcy) levels in a case-control study of 589 gastric cancer cases and 635 cancer-free controls in a high-risk Chinese population. Results:The variant genotypes of MTHFD 1958AA and 401CC were associated with a significantly increased risk of gastric canceradjusted odds ratio(OR), 2.05; 95% confidence interval(95% CI),1.34-3.13 for 1958AA; adjusted OR,1.43; 95% CI,1.14-1.80 for 401CC compared with 1958GG/GA and 401TT/TC genotypes, respectively. Both of the effects were more evident in the subjects carrying MTHFR 677CT/TT genotypes. The average tHcy level was significantly higher in gastric cancer cases than in controls(P < 0.01), and the upper quartile of tHcy (> 13.6 mu mol/L) was associated with an 82% significantly increased risk of gastric cancer, compared with the lowest quartile of tHcy(<= 8.0 pmol/L;adjusted OR,1.82; 95% CI,1.20-2.75). Conclusions:The strong associations between MTHFD variants and the plasma tHcy levels and gastric cancer risk suggest, for the first time, a possible gene-environment interaction between genetic variants of folate-metabolizing genes and high tHcy levels in gastric carcinogenesis.Wang, L. 20火灾高温下硬化水泥浆的化学分解特征显示文摘因高性能混凝土的抗火性与高温下硬化水泥浆(HCP)的化学分解有密切关系,为获得对火灾高温所致HCP化学分解特征的定量理解,对HCP试样进行了400~800℃的高温处理,采用XRD测定C-S—H化学分解动力学.结果表明,C—S—H分解始于560℃,但仅在600℃以上其分解才变得显著,且分解速度随温度升高而急剧增大.尽管C—S—H的分解可造成混凝土强度的显著下降,但这种分解主要发生在600℃以上温度范围内,故对更低温度下发生的高温爆裂基本没有影响.分别建立了在600、700和800℃温度下C—S—H分解反应动力学方程.朋改非 王金羽 CHAN Y N Sammy Anson Michael 2009南京信息工程大学学报(自然科学版)2009,1,1:9
