Different types of bursting in Chay neuronal model显示文摘Based on actual neuronal firing activities, bursting in the Chay neuronal model is considered, in which VK, reversal potentials for K+, VC, reversal potentials for Ca2+, time kinetic constant λn and an additional depolarized current I are considered as dynamical parameters. According to the number of the Hopf bifurcation points on the upper branch of the bifurcation curve of fast subsystem, which is associated with the stable limit cycle corresponding to spiking states, different types of bursting and their respective dynamical behavior are surveyed by means of fast-slow dynamical bifurcation analysis. | YANG ZhuoQin LU QiShao | 2008 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2008,51,6: | 7

Dynamical analysis of bursting oscillations in the Chay-Keizer model with three time scales显示文摘Based on the Chay-Keizer model with three time scales, we investigate the role of the slowest variable in generating bursting oscillations in pancreaticcells. It is shown that both of the two slow processes can interact to drive fast, medium and slow bursting oscillations typically observed in pancreaticcells. Moreover, diverse patterns of electrical bursting are presented, including the 'fold/fold' bursting, 'fold/homoclinic' bursting, 'fold/Hopf' bursting via 'fold/fold' hysteresis loop, and the 'fold/fold' bursting via point-point hysteresis loop. Fast-slow dynamics is used to analyze the types and generation mechanisms of these bursting oscillations. The results can be instructive for understanding the role of the slow variables and the current conductance in pancreaticcells activities. | MENG Pan LU QiShao WANG QingYun | 2011 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,8: | 2
Robust control of uncertain robotic systems:An adaptive friction compensation approach显示文摘This paper solves the robust control problem of robotic manipulator systems with uncertain dynamics by friction compensation approach. A weighting factor is introduced to distinguish the role of friction in control process by comparing the directions of sliding vector and friction. Utilizing the weighting factor, model-based and model-free adaptive friction compensation controllers are designed to achieve asymptotical tracking of the desired joint-space trajectory according to the knowledge of friction. The damping property of friction is fully used to improve the control performance by compensating the friction harmful for the stability, and on the other hand, utilizing the beneficial friction. Numerical simulations are given to demonstrate the control performance of the proposed approach. | WANG QiShao ZHUANG Han DUAN ZhiSheng WANG QingYun | 2021 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,6: | 2
STABILITY FOR THE MIX-DELAYED COHEN-GROSSBERG NEURAL NETWORKS WITH NONLINEAR IMPULSE显示文摘In this paper, the authors are concerned with the stability of the mix-delayed Cohen-Grossbergneural networks with nonlinear impulse by the nonsmooth analysis. Some novel sufficientconditions are obtained for the existence and the globally asymptotic stability of the unique equilibriumpoint, which include the well-known results on some impulsive systems and non-impulsive systems asits particular cases. The authores also analyze the globally exponential stability of the equilibriumpoint. Two examples are exploited to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of our results. | Yong ZHAO Qishao LU Zhaosheng FENG | 2010 | Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2010,23,3: | 2
Noise-induced bistable switching dynamics through a potential energy landscape显示文摘Interlinked positive feedback loops,an important building block of biochemical systems, can induce bistable switching, leading to long-lasting state changes by brief stimuli. In this work, prevalent mutual activation between two species as another positive feedback is added to a generic interlinked positive-feedback-loop model originating from many realistic biological circuits.A stochastic fluctuation of the positive feedback strength is introduced in a bistable interval of the feedback strength, and bistability appears for the moderate feedback strength at a certain noise level.Stability analysis based on the potential energy landscape is further utilized to explore the noise-induced switching behavior of two stable steady states. | Yuanhong Bi Zhuoqin Yang Xiangying Meng Qishao Lu | 2015 | Acta Mechanica Sinica2015,31,2: | 2
Flocking shape analysis of multi-agent systems显示文摘In this paper,we consider the shape control in flocking behavior of a multi-agent system with a virtual leader.Besides the traditional flocking control terms, which include a gradient-based term,a velocity consensus term and a navigational feed-back in general,a new piecewise smooth neighbor-based local controller is added to regulate the configuration to the desired flocking shape. All agent velocities approach the desired velocity asymptotically, while collisions among agents can be avoided.Furthermore, based on the proved stability,we obtain three kinds of flocking shapes, such as those in a single line, vee shape or corner shape. Some numerical simulation results are provided to demonstrate theoretical issues. | YANG JiChen,LU QiShao &LANG XiuFeng Department of Dynamics and Control,Beihang University,Beijing 100191,China | 2010 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,3: | 2

This method has the advantages of high sensitivity and large dynamic range of the measurement. By using this method, the frequency dependent microwave surface resistance of a single piece of high temperature superconductor thin film can be characterized within one temperature cycle. | 13 | A review of computational modeling and deep brain stimulation:applications to Parkinson’s disease显示文摘Biophysical computational models are complementary to experiments and theories, providing powerful tools for the study of neurological diseases. The focus of this review is the dynamic modeling and control strategies of Parkinson’s disease(PD).In previous studies, the development of parkinsonian network dynamics modeling has made great progress.Modeling mainly focuses on the cortex-thalamus-basal ganglia(CTBG)circuit and its sub-circuits,which helps to explore the dynamic behavior of the parkinsonian network, such as synchronization.Deep brain stimulation(DBS)is an effective strategy for the treatment of PD.At present, many studies are based on the side effects of the DBS.However, the translation from modeling results to clinical disease mitigation therapy still faces huge challenges. Here,we introduce the progress of DBS improvement. Its specific purpose is to develop novel DBS treatment methods, optimize the treatment effect of DBS for each patient, and focus on the study in closed-loop DBS.Our goal is to review the inspiration and insights gained by combining the system theory with these computational models to analyze neurodynamics and optimize DBS treatment. | Ying YU Xiaomin WANG Qishao WANG Qingyun WANG | 2020 | Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2020,41,12: | 1 |

Orbit control strategy for Lagrange point orbits based on an analytical method显示文摘The periodic or quasi-periodic orbits around collinear Lagrange points present many properties that are advantageous for space missions. These Lagrange point orbits are exponentially unstable. On the basis of an analytical method, an orbit control strategy that is designed to eliminate the dominant unstable components of Lagrange point orbits is developed. The proposed strategy enables the derivation of the analytical expression of nonlinear control force. The control parameter of this strategy can be arbitrarily selected provided that the parameter is considerably lower than the negative eigenvalue of motion equations, and that the energy required keeps the same order of magnitude. The periodic or quasi-periodic orbit of controlled equations remains near the periodic or quasi-periodic orbit of uncontrolled equations. | Lü Jing LU QiShao WANG Qi | 2013 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,4: | 1
