1Nanomaterials Applied in Asphalt Modification:A Review显示文摘Nanotechnology has been gradually penetrated into the field of asphalt modification.Seemingly magic effects of nanomaterials have now been brought to improve the performance of asphalt.To demonstrate many of the prospective applications,researchers have conducted a series of positive and effective efforts dealing with the preparation of modified asphalt to demonstrate the mechanism of modification and the resultant improvement in performance.In this review,various nanomaterials used in asphalt modification are initially presented,followed by the methods employed to modify the asphalt with these materials and finally the effects of nanomaterials on the performance of base asphalt are presented and the modification mechanisms are discussed.Based on the current research results,the influence of preparation process parameters on the compatibility of every phase in the modified asphalt and the stability of the modified asphalt system are described.Finally,the development trend of the topic field is projected.Changqing Fang Ruien Yu Shaolong Liu Yan Li 2013Journal of Materials Science & Technology2013,29,7:23
2Stereotactic aspiration for hypertensive intracerebral haemorrhage in a Chinese population:a retrospective cohort study显示文摘Objective We aimed to compare the therapeutic effects of stereotactic aspiration and best medical management in patients who developed supratentorial hypertensive intracerebral haemorrhage(HICH)with a volume of haemorrhage between 20 and 40 mL.Methods The clinical data of 220 patients with supratentorial HICH with a volume between 20 and 40 mL were retrospectively analysed.Among them,142 received stereotactic aspiration surgery(stereotactic aspiration group)and 78 received best medical management(conservative group).All were followed up for 6 months.Multivariate logistic regression and Kaplan-Meier survival curves were used to compare the outcome between the two groups.results The rebleeding rate was lower in the group that had stereotactic aspiration when compared with the group with medical treatment(6[4.2%]vs 9[11.5%],χ2=4.364,p=0.037).After 6 months,although the mortality rate did not differ significantly between the two groups(8 cases[5.6%]vs 10 cases[12.8%],χ2=3.461,p=0.063),the rate of a favourable outcome was higher in the group who received stereotactic aspiration(χ2=15.870,p=0.000).Logistic regression identified that medical treatment(OR=1.64,p=0.000)was an independent risk factor for an unfavourable outcome.The Kaplan-Meier curves indicated that the median favourable outcome time in the stereotactic aspiration group was 59.5 days compared with that in the medically treated group(87.0 days).The log-rank test indicated that the prognosis at 6 months was better for those treated with stereotactic haematoma aspiration(χ2=29.866,p=0.000).However,the 6-month survival rate was similar between the two groups(χ2=3.253,p=0.068).Conclusions Stereotactic haematoma aspiration significantly improved the quality of life,although did not effectively reduce the rate of mortality.When selected appropriately,patients with HICH may benefit from this type of surgical intervention.Xuyang Zhang Shaolong Zhou Qiang Zhang Xudong Fu Yuehui Wu Jiasheng Liu Bo Liang Zhuo Yang Xinjun Wang 2019Stroke & Vascular Neurology2019,4,1:19

4The point defect and electronic structure of K doped LaCo_(0.9)Fe_(0.1)O_(3)perovskite with enhanced microwave absorbing ability显示文摘ABO_(3)perovskites,owning unique properties,have great research prospect in electromagnetic wave absorption field.Normally,doping can significantly regulate the dielectric loss,whereas the magnetic loss can be ignored.In this work,the crystal structure and electromagnetic properties can be regulated systematically by the K,Fe co-doping for LaCoO_(3)perovskites(LKCFO)under the condition of fixed F content.In addition,the obtained samples show the obvious interfacial polarization effect on accounting to the small size effect,which is conducive to the effective microwave absorption.By analyzing the evolution of the positron annihilation lifetime and the first-principles calculation of the oxygen density of states for the series of LKCFO perovskites,it is found that the charge transport characteristics will be controlled by the point defect generated by allelic doping.The point defect content decreases and then increases as the doping level rises.The prepared perovskite exhibits the lowest defect density and the largest dielectric loss capability,which indicates that the lower point defects promote electron migration and thus enhance the dielectric loss;thus,the electromagnetic wave absorption bandwidth up to 6.2 GHz is reached.In contrast,both insufficient and excessive K doping are detrimental to the enhancement of microwave absorption.Especially,the practical application value was investigated using Computer Simulation Technology(CST)simulations.The LKCFO-2 exhibits the smallest RCS value(below-10 dBm^(2))at almost-90°-90°with a thickness of 2 mm,providing an effective method for study excellent microwave absorption and scattering property.Fan Wang Weihua Gu Jiabin Chen Yue Wu Ming Zhou Shaolong Tang Xingzhong Cao Peng Zhang Guangbin Ji 2022Nano Research2022,15,4:7
5Characterization of transient groundwater flow through a high arch dam foundation during reservoir impounding显示文摘Even though a large number of large-scale arch dams with height larger than 200 m have been built in the world, the transient groundwater flow behaviors and the seepage control effects in the dam foundations under difficult geological conditions are rarely reported. This paper presents a case study on the transient groundwater flow behaviors in the rock foundation of Jinping I double-curvature arch dam, the world's highest dam of this type to date that has been completed. Taking into account the geological settings at the site, an inverse modeling technique utilizing the time series measurements of both hydraulic head and discharge was adopted to back-calculate the permeability of the foundation rocks,which effectively improves the uniqueness and reliability of the inverse modeling results. The transient seepage flow in the dam foundation during the reservoir impounding was then modeled with a parabolic variational inequality(PVI) method. 8Relaxation oscillations induced by an order gap between exciting frequency and natural frequency显示文摘The main purpose of the paper is to display the relaxation oscillations, known as the bursting phenomena, for the coupled oscillators with periodic excitation with an order gap between the exciting frequency and the natural frequency. For the case when the exciting frequency is much smaller than the natural frequency, different types of bursting oscillations such as fold/fold, Hopf/Hopf bursting oscillations can be observed. By regarding the whole exciting term as a slow-varying parameter on the fact that the exciting term changes on a much smaller time scale, bifurcations sets of the generalized autonomous system is derived, which divide the parameter space into several regions associated with different types of dynamical behaviors. Two cases with typical bifurcation patterns are focused on as examples to explore the dynamical evolution with the variation of the amplitude of the external excitation. Bursting oscillations which alternate between quiescent states (QSs) and repetitive spiking states (SPs) can be obtained, the mechanism of which is presented by introducing the transformed phase portraits overlapping with the bifurcation diagrams of the generalized autonomous system. It is found that not only the forms of QSs and SPs, but also the bifurcations at the transition points between QSs and SPs, may influence the structures of bursting attractors. 14Comparison between different reactions of group IV hydride with H显示文摘The four-dimensional time-dependent quantum dynamics calculations for reactions of group IV hydride with H are carried out by employing the semirigid vibrating rotor target model and the time-dependent wave packet method. The reaction possibility, cross section and rate constants for reactions (H+SiH_4 and H+GeH_4) in different initial vibrational and rotational states are obtained. The common feature for such kind of reaction process is summarized. 16Effect of different organic compounds on the preparation of CaO-based CO_(2) sorbents derived from wet mixing combustion synthesis显示文摘CaO based sorbents have great potential for commercial use to capture CO_(2) of power plants.In the demand of producing sorbents with better cyclic performance,CaO-based sorbents derived from different kinds of calcium precursors,containing calcium carbonate(CC-CaO),calcium gluconate monohydrate(CG-CaO),calcium citrate(CCi-CaO)and calcium acetate monohydrate(CA-CaO),were tested cyclically and compared using simultaneous thermal analyzer(STA).And further study was conducted on the sorbents modified with citric acid monohydrate and 50%gluconic acid solution by wet mixing combustion synthesis.The modified sorbents showed better performance and higher pore parameters as well as porous microstructure with more organic acid added.After 20 cycles of carbonation and calcination,the C2CCi8(CaO:citric acid=2:8 by mass ratio)and C2G8(CaO:gluconic acid=2:8 by mass ratio)sorbent possess CO_(2) capture capacity of 0.45g·g^(-1)(g CO_(2) per g sorbents)and 0.52 g·g^(-1) respectively.The citric acid was more effective for modification than gluconic acid for extended 50 cycles.Furthermore,good linear relationship between CaO conversion and specific surface area as well as pore volume were determined,of which the specific surface area showed closer correlation with CaO conversion。Tong Luo Shaolong Liu Cong Luo Xiaolei Qi Bowen Lu Liqi Zhang 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,8:3
17Mechanism of Thaumasite Formation in Concrete显示文摘Significant efforts have been made in revealing the mechanism of thaumasite formation in concrete, which continues to be fraught with ambiguities and dissension. Chemical method was employed to synthesize pure C_3S, C_2S, C_3A, ettringite, and thaumasite, and X-ray diffraction(XRD), Raman spectroscopy and infrared spectroscopy(IR) were used to identify thaumasite from other hydrates. To investigate the direct route of thaumasite formation, C_3S, C_2S, gypsum, and calcium carbonate were used to prepare a cement paste so that the interference of ettringite formation can be avoided. The indirect route of thaumasite formation was also studied by considering the effect of C_3A or ettringite content on thaumasite formation. Results show that thaumasite can be definitely generated in the absence of aluminium-bearing minerals or ettringite under appropriate conditions, while the ettringite presence promotes the thaumasite formation. No evidences support the heterogeneous nucleation route in this work. 18Transcriptome analysis of purple pigment formation in Colocasia esculenta显示文摘Taro(Colocasia esculenta(L.)Schott)is an important crop in Africa,Southeast Asia,and subtropics and is used as a food and medicine.The purple color pigmentation is an appealing character in taro.We sampled taro corms of the cultivar‘Lipu Taro’at four developmental stages,including LPYS1(without purple pigment,50 days of development(DOD)),LPYS2(very few purple pigments,75 DOD),LPYS3(moderate purple pigments,115 DOD)and LPYS4(high purple pigments,205 DOD).The purpose of our study was to identify the key genes underpinning the purple pigmentation in taro based on RNA-sequencing.Through RNA-Seq,6453 differentially expressed transcripts(DETs)were identified between purple and non-purple pigmented samples.We identified 41 and 12 flavonoid and anthocyanin related DETs transcripts,respectively.These DETs were upregulated at LPYS2,LPYS3,and LPYS4 as compared to LPYS1,indicating their positive contribution to the color formation in taro.Moreover,we identified several DETs encoding for transcription factors,including MYB and bHLH,known to be major regulators of structural genes involved in the flavonoid-anthocyanin pathway.Finally,we reported several plant hormones(ethylene,auxin,gibberellin,jasmonic acid,and cytokinin)related DETs,which are predicted to play important roles in the corm coloration.Different regulation of transcripts representing the flavonoid-anthocyanin biosynthesis pathway,plant hormone transduction pathway,and transcription factors may have key roles in purple pigmentation in taro.Our findings will facilitate future research on improving the quality and appeal of taro.FANGLIAN HE WEIQING DONG SHAOLONG WEI ZUYANG QIU JINGLI HUANG HUIPING JIANG SHIYU HUANG LILI LIU 2021BIOCELL2021,45,3:2
19Linear spatial instability analysis in 3D boundary layers using plane-marching 3D-LPSE显示文摘It is widely accepted that a robust and efficient method to compute the linear spatial amplified rate ought to be developed in three-dimensional(3D) boundary layers to predict the transition with the e^N method,especially when the boundary layer varies significantly in the spanwise direction.The 3D-linear parabolized stability equation(3DLPSE) approach,a 3D extension of the two-dimensional LPSE(2D-LPSE),is developed with a plane-marching procedure for investigating the instability of a 3D boundary layer with a significant spanwise variation.The method is suitable for a full Mach number region,and is validated by computing the unstable modes in 2D and 3D boundary layers,in both global and local instability problems.The predictions are in better agreement with the ones of the direct numerical simulation(DNS) rather than a 2D-eigenvalue problem(EVP) procedure.These results suggest that the plane-marching 3D-LPSE approach is a robust,efficient,and accurate choice for the local and global instability analysis in 2D and 3D boundary layers for all free-stream Mach numbers.Jianxin LIU Shaolong ZHANG Song FU 2016Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2016,37,8:2
20模拟C0_2气腹对结肠癌HT-29细胞增殖侵袭能力的影响显示文摘目的观察不同CO_2气腹压力对裸鼠腹腔恶性肿瘤细胞生长和种植转移的影响。方法术前2 h将5×105个结肠癌HT-29细胞注入裸鼠腹腔内。模拟不同CO_2气腹压力的腹腔镜手术环境,持续1 h。将60只裸鼠随机分为4组,每组15只,分别为0 mmHg组、5 mmHg组、10 mmHg组和15 mmHg组,每组CO_2作用3小时。30 d开腹检查肿瘤种植转移情况,并测量腹腔种植的肿瘤平均质量,了解不同CO_2气腹压力对肿瘤生长和种植转移的影响。结果 4腹腔肿瘤平均质量分别为(566.8±50.4)mg、(616.3±61.2)mg、(777.5±70.5)mg、(960.2±56.7)mg。随气腹压力升高,腹腔内种植的肿瘤质量增加,腹腔内肿瘤种植部位增多,15 mmHg气腹组腹腔内种植的肿瘤质量及肿瘤种植部位均大于其他组(P<0.01)。结论 CO_2气腹压强的增高,会增加结肠癌细胞的侵袭和种植的风险,在临床上应引起重视。徐艳松 赵波 张猛 梁思远 唐卫中 Lu shaolong 2016结直肠肛门外科2016,22,3:2
