Compared with other two earlier conventions drafted by the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law(UNDROIT)-the Uniform Law on the International Sale of Goods (ULF), CISG has more contracting parties(including United States, Germany, Australia, China and other major countries in world trade) and greater influence.
