| 2 | Effect of biofilm formation by clinical isolates of Helicobacter pylori on the efflux-mediated resistance to commonly used antibiotics显示文摘AIM To evaluate the role of biofilm formation on the resistance of Helicobacter pylori(H. pylori) to commonly prescribed antibiotics, the expression rates of resistance genes in biofilm-forming and planktonic cells were compared.METHODS A collection of 33 H. pylori isolates from children and adult patients with chronic infection were taken for the present study. The isolates were screened for biofilm formation ability, as well as for polymerase chain reaction(PCR) reaction with HP1165 and hp1165 efflux pump genes. Susceptibilities of the selected strains to antibiotic and differences between susceptibilities of planktonic and biofilm-forming cell populations were determined. Quantitative real-time PCR(qP CR) analysis was performed using 16 S r RNA gene as a H. pylori-specific primer, and two efflux pumps-specific primers, hp1165 and hefA.RESULTS The strains were resistant to amoxicillin, metronidazole, and erythromycin, except for one strain, but they were all susceptible to tetracycline. Minimum bactericidalconcentrations of antibiotics in the biofilm-forming cells were significantly higher than those of planktonic cells. qP CR demonstrated that the expression of efflux pump genes was significantly higher in the biofilm-forming cells as compared to the planktonic ones.CONCLUSION The present work demonstrated an association between H. pylori biofilm formation and decreased susceptibility to all the antibiotics tested. | 3 | Statistical design and kinetic and thermodynamic studies of Ni(Ⅱ) adsorption on bentonite显示文摘The adsorption of the bentonite toward Ni(II) from aqueous solution was studied to obtain optimum conditions,equilibrium model,thermodynamic and kinetic parameters.Statistical method was used to evaluate maximum amount of adsorbed Ni(II).In this work,p H of solution during stirring,contact time,initial Ni(II) concentration,particle size of bentonite and amount of bentonite were considered as effective parameters which should be examined.The increase of temperature has negative effect on the Ni(II) adsorption.The equilibrium data were correlated well with Freundlich and Dubinin–Radushkevich isotherm models the correlation coefficients of which are(R^2) 0.994 and 0.971,respectively.This model indicates heterogeneous and chemical absorption or ion exchange process.The values of thermodynamic parameters such as ΔH°,ΔS° and ΔG° of nickel adsorption reveal that it is a spontaneous,exothermic and associative process.The experimental data fit the pseudo-second-order kinetic very well with correlation coefficient(R^2) more than 0.995. | Bahareh Sadeghalvad Amir Reza Azadmehr Hassan Motevalian | 2017 | Journal of Central South University2017，24，7： | 6 |

| 6 | 基于非对称信道状态信息的协作通信:一种契约理论建模方法(英文)显示文摘In relay-assisted cooperative communication,relay nodes help forwarding the information of a source node in case of link failure between the source and a destination.Although user cooperation improves the overall efficiency of the network,it requires incentive to stimulate potential relay nodes to assist the source by forwarding its data to the destination.Moreover,the potential relays are better informed than the source about their channel conditions to destination,which results in asymmetric information between the source and the relays.In this paper,we study the problem of lack of forwarding incentive in cooperative communication when channel state information of relays is private information and not known by the source.To tackle this problem,we apply the principle of contract theory to a cooperative wireless system.Source first designs incentive compatible and individually rational contract,consisting of a set of power-credit pairs.Then it broadcasts contract items to nearby nodes.Once the source node receives reply messages from the volunteer relays,it chooses one or more relays based on its requirements and communication starts.Simulation results show how credit assignment works in order to stimulate relays to cooperate and prevents relays from cheating behavior. | Bahareh Nazari Abbas Jamalipour | 2013 | China Communications2013，10，1： | 2 |
