| 1 | Grain size records reveal variability of the East Asian Winter Monsoon since the Middle Holocene in the Central Yellow Sea mud area,China显示文摘Three cores(ZY-1,ZY-2 and ZY-3) retrieved from the Central Yellow Sea mud(CYSM) were analyzed in sensitive grain size and AMS 14 C dating to reconstruct the history of the East Asian Winter Monsoon(EAWM) since the Middle Holocene in the study area.The results show that these data provide a continuous history of the EAWM over the past 7.2 ka and that the EAWM can be divided into three periods:strong and highly fluctuating during 7.2-4.2 ka BP;moderate and relatively stable during 4.2-1.8 ka BP;and weakened during 1.8-0 ka BP.Compared with the East Asian Summer Monsoon(EASM) recorded in the previous studies,the evolutionary history of the EAWM broadly follows the orbital-derived winter insolation with a similar long-term step-decreased trend as the EASM.At the centennial scale,however,the EAWM intensified events correlate well with the EASM weakened events and the North Atlantic climatic variations(Bond events 0 to 5) within the dating error,most likely forced by the reduction of solar irradiance through changes in the oceanic-atmospheric circulation patterns. | HU BangQi YANG ZuoSheng ZHAO MeiXun Yoshiki SAITO FAN DeJiang WANG LiBo | 2012 | Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,10: | 39 |
| 2 | Sea surface temperature records of core ZY2 from the central mud area in the South Yellow Sea during last 6200 years and related effect of the Yellow Sea Warm Current显示文摘Sea surface temperature (SST) records in the South Yellow Sea during the last 6200 years are reconstructed by the unsaturation index of long-chain alkenones (K 37 U ') in sediment core ZY2 from the central mud area.The SST records varied between 14.1 and 16.5°C (15.6°C on average),with 3 phases:(1) A high SST phase at 6.2-5.9 cal ka BP;(2) A low and intensely fluctuating SST phase at 5.9-2.3 cal ka BP;and (3) A high and stable SST phase since 2.3 cal ka BP.Variation of the SST records is similar to intensity of the Kuroshio Current (KC),and corresponds well in time to global cold climate events.However,the amplitude of the SST response to cooling events was significantly different in different phases.The SST response to global cooling event was weak while the KC was strong;and the SST response was strong while the KC was weak.The difference in amplitude of the SST response is possibly caused by the modulation effect of the Yellow Sea Warm Current which acts as a shelf branch of the KC and a compensating current induced by the East Asia winter monsoon.The warm waters brought by the Yellow Sea Warm Current cushion the SST decrease induced by climate cooling,and both the Kuroshio and East Asian winter monsoon play important roles in the modulation mechanism.The SST records display a periodicity of 1482 years.The same period was found in the KC records,indicating that variation of the SST records in the central South Yellow Sea is strongly affected by KC intensity.The same period was also found in Greenland ice cores and North Atlantic and Arabian Sea sediment cores,showing a regional response of marine environmental variability in the East China Seas to that in the global oceans. | WANG LiBo YANG ZuoSheng ZHANG RongPing FAN DeJiang ZHAO MeiXun HU BangQi | 2011 | Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,15: | 13 |

| 5 | Engineering FeS_(2) nanoparticles on tubular g-C_(3)N_(4) for photo-Fenton treatment of paint wastewater显示文摘An efficient photo-Fenton catalyst(Fe S_(2)@HTCN)was designed by maximizing the synergistic effect of Fe S_(2)nanoparticles and hollow tubular g-C_(3)N_(4)(HTCN).Molecule self-assembly and molten salts-assisted calcination were used to engineering the hollow structured g-C_(3)N_(4)before anchoring Fe S_(2)nanoparticles on the walls of HTCN via reflux method.Compared to bulk g-C_(3)N_(4),the unique structure of HTCN and heterojunction in the composite endowed FeS_(2)@HTCN with more active sites and abundant channels for electron transfer and charge separation.The enriched electrons can improve the Fe^(3+) recycling and boost Fe^(2+) catalyzed ^(·)OH production via H_(2)O_(2).As-prepared photo-Fenton catalyst was successfully applied to the treatment of industrial paint wastewater.The paint wastewater with its COD as high as 8200 mg/L can be effectively degraded with 0.2 mol/L H_(2)O_(2)in 90 min under visible light irradiation.The photoFenton system was further evaluated according to the process stability and economic benefit,proving that the strategy presented in this work would be applicable to the treatment of real wastewater. | Chan Wang Bangqi Wei Han Zhu Yimin He Guoxia Ran Qijun Song | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,6: | 1 |

| 8 | Comparison and Calibration of Elemental Measurements in Sediments Using X-Ray Fluorescence Core Scanning with ICP Methods: A Case Study of the South China Sea Deep Basin显示文摘The X-ray fluorescence(XRF)core scanning method is widely applied in studies of sedimentary paleoenvironments due to its convenient pretreatment,nondestructive characteristics,fast execution,continuous scanning,and high resolution.XRF core scanning for sediments is commonly used in the studies on the South China Sea.This study compares XRF-scanned intensities and measured inductively coupled plasma(ICP)elemental contents of core CS11 in the northeast South China Sea deep basin.The results show that the analyzed elements can be separated into three classes.Class I includes elements with high correlation coefficients,such as Ca,Sr,and Zr;Class II contains elements with average correlation coefficients,such as Fe,Mn,Ti,and Cu;and Class III comprises elements with low correlation coefficients,such as K,Ni,Zn,Rb,and Al.In the South China Sea deep basin,pore water,compaction,and grain size have weak effects on the elemental intensities and contents of short core sediments.Hence,for elements with high correlation coefficients,a linear relationship model can be established by the least-squares method,in which the converted XRF intensities are approximately equal to the measured ICP contents.Based on the established log-ratio calibration model,the resulting ln(K/Ca),ln(Ti/Ca),ln(Fe/Ca),and ln(Zr/Ca)values generally display the same variation trends as the measured curves.The elemental contents and ratios produced by the linear model via the least-squares method and the log-ratio calibration model are expected to provide high-resolution data support for future paleoenvironmental research on the South China Sea deep basin. | XU Fangjian HU Bangqi WANG Chen ZHAO Jingtao WANG Feifei DING Xue LI Qing GUO Jianwei | 2021 | Journal of Ocean University of China2021,20,4: | 1 |

| 12 | Early-Holocene Paleo-Tropical Cyclone Activity Inferred from a Sedimentary Sequence in South Yellow Sea,East Asia显示文摘Although tropical cyclones play a critical role in global climate changes,their long-term variations in the past are not well documented.In this article,a sediment core from the South Yellow Sea was studied in order to reveal the influence of tropical cyclones on depositional processes.Integrating the results of radiocarbon dating and sediment grain-size analysis,we show that the studied sequence was deposited during the Holocene and the sedimentary dynamics were stable and at a relatively low level,with a median grain-size range of 5.3-8.7μm.It is found that coarse particles were likely transported by highly dynamic depositional events.Based on the findings,a record of paleo-tropical cyclones was derived for the Early Holocene,and several intervals with a reduced influence of tropical cyclones were identified.In addition,it reveals a good agreement between the grain-size results and the changes in solar activity,monsoonal intensity,and the El Ni?o-Southern Oscillation.Overall,it can be concluded that the influence of tropical cyclones on the sedimentary evolution of the muddy zone of the South Yellow Sea was substantial during the Early Holocene on centennial timescales,and that solar maxima may control the intensity of tropical cyclones via strengthening the walker circulation over the tropical Pacific. | Geng Liu Xibin Han Yanping Chen Jun Li Lehui Song Xin Zhou Bangqi Hu Liang Yi | 2022 | Journal of Earth Science2022,33,3: | 1 |
| 13 | TiO^(2)electron transport bilayer for all-inorganic perovskite photodetectors with remarkably improved UV stability toward imaging applications显示文摘High ultraviolet(UV)stability and low dark current(Idark)are necessary for high-quality perovskite photodetectors(PDs).TiO^(2)thin film is known as effective electron-transport-layer(ETL)for perovskite devices.However,common spin-coated TiO^(2)ETLs endow many surface defects and have strong UV photocatalytic effect to decompose perovskite materials,resulting in inferior stability of devices.In this work,TiO^(2)bilayer film(Bi-TiO^(2))has been fabricated by combining spin-coating and atomic-layer-deposition process and its positive effects on UV stability and Idarkof Cs2 AgBiBr6-based PDs have been revealed for the first time.It is demonstrated that Bi-TiO^(2)possesses fewer surface defects and smoother morphology with type II band alignment,which is beneficial to suppress photocatalytic activity of TiO^(2)and reduce carrier recombination at the interface.After accelerated strong UV aging treatment,the PD with Bi-TiO^(2)maintains excellent performance,whereas the PD with spin-coated TiO^(2)film dramatically deteriorate with on-off ratio drops from~102 to~2.Besides,the Idarkof PD remarkably decreases from~10^(-8) A to~10^(-10) A after bilayer optimization.Furthermore,we have integrated the corresponding PDs into a self-built imaging system adopting diffuse reflection mode.This work suggests a feasible approach to fabricate TiO^(2)/Cs2 AgBiBr6-based PDs with remarkable UV tolerance for imaging applications. | Ye Yuan Zhong Jia Genghua Yan Zhuowei Li Jinliang Li Min Kuang Bangqi Jiang Longlong Zeng Likun Pan Wenjie Mai | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,16: | 1 |

| 15 | Hot deformation behaviors of WE71 alloy under plain strain compression at elevated temperature显示文摘Hot deformation behaviors of WE71(Mg-7Y-lNd-0.5Zr)alloy was investigated by plain strain compression tests conducted at temperatures ranging from 350℃to 500℃and strain rates varying from 0.01s^-1 to 10s^-1.Results show that the hot deformation of WE71 was accompanied by the precipitation of rich Zr phase with granular shape and block-shaped phase rich in element Y.When deformed at low temperature and high strain rate,the softening behavior of the alloy was synergically determined by shear bands propagation,adiabatic heating,twinning formation and dynamic recrystallization(DRX).For the conditions of high temperature and high strain rate,DRX was the major softening mechanism while the formation and annihilation of extension twinning resulted in a special flow curve characteristic at the strain of around 0.3.According to the microstructural observations,it can be concluded that the irregular flow curves of WE71 alloy during plain strain compression process are mainly ascribed to shear bands propagation,adiabatic heating,twinning formation and DRX. | Bangqi Yin Xiangyi Xue Bin Tang Yi Wang Hongchao Kou Jinshan Li | 2020 | Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2020,30,4: | 1 |
| 16 | Middle Holocene Organic Carbon and Biomarker Records from the South Yellow Sea: Relationship to the East Asian Monsoon显示文摘The East Asian monsoon system influences the sedimentation and transport of organic matter in East Asian marginal seas that is derived from both terrestrial and marine sources. In this study, we determined organic carbon(OC) isotope values, concentrations of marine biomarkers, and levels of OC and total nitrogen(TN) in core YSC-1 from the central South Yellow Sea(SYS). Our objectives were to trace the sources of OC and variations in palaeoproductivity since the middle Holocene, and their relationships with the East Asian monsoon system. The relative contributions of terrestrial versus marine organic matter in core sediments were estimated using a two-end-member mixing model of OC isotopes. Results show that marine organic matter has been the main sediment constituent since the middle Holocene. The variation of terrestrial organic carbon concentration(OCter) is similar to the EASM history. However, the variation of marine organic carbon concentration(OCmar) is opposite to that of the EASM curve, suggesting OCmar is distinctly influenced by terrestrial material input. Inputs of terrestrial nutrients into the SYS occur in the form of fluvial and aeolian dust, while concentrations of nutrients in surface water are derived mainly from bottom water via the Yellow Sea circulation system, which is controlled by the East Asian winter monsoon(EAWM).
