1Origin and effect of surface oxygen-containing species on electrochemical CO or CO_(2) reduction reactions显示文摘Renewable-energy-powered electrochemical CO or CO_(2)reduction reactions(CO_(2)RR)provide one of the most promising strategies to upgrade CO_(2)to valuable products.In the past decade,the existence and the mechanistic role of oxygen-containing species,such as(sub)surface oxide,hydroxide and oxyhydroxide species,at the electrode–electrolyte interface under reductive conditions have emerged as a topic of acute discussion within the CO_(2)RR field.Oxide-derived Cu attracted the most attention,while other surfaces,including Au,Ag and Sn,were also widely investigated.This review identifies likely causes for contrasting results and views in the literature,summarizes possible oxygen sources for the interfacial oxygen-containing species at the CO_(2)RR conditions,and discusses potential roles these species could play in affecting the rate and product distribution.Finally,perspectives on future efforts to reveal the identity and role of oxygen-containing species in the CO_(2)RR are presented.Xiaoxia Chang Ming He Qi Lu Bingjun Xu 2023Science China Chemistry2023,66,1:1

5A Comparative Analysis between Walt Disney and DreamWorks Based on the Theory of Semantic Roles of Argument Nominals Xu显示文摘Anchored on Yule’s categories of semantic roles,the present study examined the language of cartoon scripts with Chinese characters in Walt Disney’s Mulan 1 and 2 and DreamWorks’s Kung Fu Panda 1 and 2.Specifically it described the:(1)semantic features of the scripts in terms of semantic roles;and(2)similarities and differences in the language of the scripts semantically.Data analyzed were limited to 800 sentences which were randomly selected from the scripts of Mulan 1 and 2 and Kung Fu Panda 1 and 2.More specifically,200 lines per film were analyzed by taxonomizing the utterances in terms of identifying the semantic roles of argument nominals in each utterance.Results revealed the roles of agent and experiencer in the subject positions are dominant in contrast with the frequency of occurrences of theme,goal,location and source.In conclusion,the language of animated film is relatively simpler,literal and direct to suit the level of the target audience who are generally children.Finally,this research suggests that more linguistic levels should be conducted to explore the language features on cartoon movies in the future.Xu Manping Zhu Jiasheng Ma Bingjun 2021Journal of Linguistics and Education Research2021,4,2:0
6Metal-organic layers induce in situ nano-structuring of Cu surface in electrocatalytic CO_(2)reduction显示文摘Cu-based catalysts have attracted widespread attention for its capability in electrocatalytically reducing CO_(2)to a variety of products.Surface modification of Cu has become an interesting method for tuning the catalytic performance.Here,we use Zrbased metal-organic layers(MOLs)as the additive of the Cu surface,which enhanced the Faradaic efficiency of CH4 by two times as compared to the untreated polycrystalline Cu foil.Unexpectedly,the MOLs were found to induce in situ nano-structuring of the Cu foil surface within seconds in the electrolysis,as revealed by a combination of scanning electron microscopy(SEM),grazing incidence X-ray diffractometry(GIXRD),and linear sweep voltammetry(LSV)measurements.These surface changes are responsible for the shift of product selectivity.Control experiments suggest that negatively chargedμ3-O−on the Zr-cluster in the MOL might interact with CO-covered Cu surface and induce roughing and nano-structuring.This work reveals a potential role of additive on Cu to induce surface nano-structuring that tunes catalytic activity and selectivity.Xinru He Jiawei Chen Yifei Xu Yan Shen Yifan Zeng Jieyu Zhu Bingjun Xu Cheng Wang 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:0
7GmNMHC5 may promote nodulation via interaction with GmGAI in soybean显示文摘Soybean(Glycine max[L.]Merr.)is a food and oil crop whose growth and yield are influenced by root and nodule development.In the present study,Gm NMHC5 was found to promote the formation of nodules in overexpressing mutants.In contrast,the number of nodules in Gmnmhc5 edited with CRISPR/Cas9 decreased sharply.In 35 S:Gm NMHC5 mutants,expression levels of genes involved in nodulation were significantly up-regulated.Both in vitro and in vivo biochemical analyses showed that Gm NMHC5 directly interacted with Gm GAI(a DELLA protein),and the content of gibberellin 3(GA_(3))in overexpressing mutants was lower than that in the wild type.These results revealed that Gm NMHC5 participates in the classical GA signaling pathway,and may regulate the content of GA_3 to match the optimal concentration required for nodule formation,thereby promoting nodulation by directly interacting with Gm GAI.A model illustrating the mechanism by which Gm NMHC5 promotes soybean nodulation is presented.Wenting Wang Zhili Wang Wensheng Hou Li Chen Bingjun Jiang Wenya Ma Lijuan Bai Wenwen Song Cailong Xu Tianfu Han Yongjun Feng Cunxiang Wu 2022The Crop Journal2022,10,1:0

11Tumor-suppressive function and mechanism of HOXB13 in right-sided colon cancer显示文摘Right-sided colon cancer(RCC)and left-sided colon cancer(LCC)differ in their clinical and molecular features.An investigation of differentially expressed genes(DEGs)between RCC and LCC could contribute to targeted therapy for colon cancer,especially RCC,which has a poor prognosis.Here,we identified HOXB13,which was significantly less expressed in RCC than in LCC and associated with prognosis in RCC,by using 5 datasets from the Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO).Tissue sample analysis showed that HOXB13 was differentially expressed between normal and only RCC tumor tissues.HOXB13 inhibited colon cancer cell proliferation and induced apoptosis both in vitro and in vivo.Furthermore,we found that HOXB13 might be regulated by DNMT3B and suppress C-myc expression to exert antitumor effects viaβ-catenin/TCF4 signals in RCC.In conclusion,the current study is the first to demonstrate that HOXB13 has a tumor-suppressive effect in RCC.High expression levels of HOXB13 are associated with prolonged overall survival in patients with RCC.The DNMT3B-HOXB13-C-myc signaling axis might be a molecular target for the treatment of RCC.Binbin Xie Bingjun Bai Yuzi Xu Yunlong Liu Yiming Lv Xing Gao Fei Wu Zhipeng Fang Ying Lou Hongming Pan Weidong Han 2019Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2019,4,1:0
