1Analytically Derived Wind Wave Growth Relations显示文摘By the use of the 3/2 power law presented by Toba combined with the significant wave energy balance equation forwind wave, wind wave growth at a limited fetch is analytically investigated. The new wind wave growth relations(WWGRs) are analytically derived with sheltering coefficient and wind drag coefficient as parameters. The geometricalaverage of observational values of sheltering coefficient and the arithmetic average of observational values of wind drag co-efficient are applied to determine the new WWGRs. 2A Genomic Variation Map Provides Insights into the Genetic Basis of Spring Chinese Cabbage (Brassica rapa ssp.pekinensis)Selection显示文摘Chinese cabbage is the most consumed leafy crop in East Asian countries.However,premature bolting induced by continuous low temperatures severely decreases the yield and quality of the Chinese cabbage, and therefore restricts its planting season and geographic distribution.In the past 40years,spring Chinese cabbage with strong winterness has been selected to meet the market demand.Here,we report a genome variation map of Chinese cabbage generated from the resequencing data of 194 geographically diverse accessions of three ecotypes.In-depth analyses of the selection sweeps and genome-wide patterns revealed that spring Chinese cabbage was selected from a specific population of autumn Chinese cabbage around the area of Shandong peninsula in northern China.We identified 23 genomic loci that underwent intensive selection,and further demonstrated by gene expression and haplotype analyses that the incorporation of elite alleles of VERNALISATION INSENTIVE 3.1(BrVIN3.1)and FLOWER LOCUS C 1(BrFLC1)is a determinant genetic source of variation during selection.Moreover,we showed that the quantitative response of BrVIN3.1 to cold due to the sequence variations in the cis elements of the BrVlN3.1 promoter significantly contributes to bolting-time variation in Chinese cabbage.Collectively, our study provides valuable insights into the genetic basis of spring Chinese cabbage selection and will facilitate the breeding of bolting-resistant Varieties by molecular-marker-assisted selection,transgenic or gene editingapproaches.Tongbing Su Weihong Wang Peirong Li Bin Zhang Pan Li Xiaoyun Xin Honghe Sun Yangjun Yu Deshuang Zhang Xiuyun Zhao Changlong Wen Gang Zhou Yuntong Wang Hongkun Zheng Shuancang Yu Fenglan Zhang 2018Molecular Plant2018,11,11:6
3Pain threshold, anxiety and other factors affect intensity of postoperative pain in gastric cancer patients: A prospective cohort study显示文摘Objective: This prospective cohort study explored factors related to postoperative pain in gastric cancer patients.Methods: A total of 236 patients who underwent gastrectomy were enrolled. All patients enrolled in the study completed the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS) questionnaire and Life Orientation Test-Revised(LOT-R) questionnaire on the day before surgery. Heat pain threshold(HPT), cold pain threshold(CPT) and pressure pain threshold(PPT) were measured for all patients one day prior to surgery and demographic details were collected. All patients were connected to a patient-controlled intravenous analgesia(PCIA) pump at the end of the surgery. The occurrence of postoperative pain was used as a dependent variable, and multivariate logistic regression analyses were conducted to screen for factors affecting postoperative pain.Results: In total, 83 patients(35.2%) had postoperative pain. Body mass index(BMI) ≥28 kg/m^(2) [odds ratio(OR): 2.67;95% confidence interval(95% CI): 1.07-6.67], total gastrectomy(OR: 2.64;95% CI: 1.42-4.91),preoperative anxiety score ≥8(OR: 2.37;95% CI: 1.12-5.02), heat pain threshold ≤4.9 s(OR: 2.14;95% CI:1.06-4.32), pressure pain threshold ≤4 g(OR: 2.05;95% CI: 1.05-4.03), and female gender(OR: 1.99;95% CI:1.04-3.83) were risk factors for postoperative pain.Conclusions: Obesity, wide range of gastrectomy, high preoperative anxiety, low HPT and PPT, and female gender are associated with increased risk for postoperative pain.Hongyu Tan Jin Wei Shuo Li Ling Yu Hongwei Sun Ke Ji Yinkui Wang Changlong Li 2021Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021,33,3:5

6A Method for Sea Surface Wind Field Retrieval from SAR Image Mode Data显示文摘To retrieve wind field from SAR images, the development for surface wind field retrieval from SAR images based on the improvement of new inversion model is present. Geophysical Model Functions(GMFs) have been widely applied for wind field retrieval from SAR images. Among them CMOD4 has a good performance under low and moderate wind conditions. Although CMOD5 is developed recently with a more fundamental basis, it has ambiguity of wind speed and a shape gradient of normalized radar cross section under low wind speed condition. This study proposes a method of wind field retrieval from SAR image by combining CMOD5 and CMOD4 Five VV-polarisation RADARSAT2 SAR images are implemented for validation and the retrieval results by a combination method(CMOD5 and CMOD4) together with CMOD4 GMF are compared with QuikSCAT wind data. The root-mean-square error(RMSE) of wind speed is 0.75 m s-1 with correlation coefficient 0.84 using the combination method and the RMSE of wind speed is 1.01 m s-1 with correlation coefficient 0.72 using CMOD4 GMF alone for those cases. 7Spatial difference features and organization optimization of cities and towns in Tarim River Basin显示文摘This paper analyzes the urban spatial structure of Tarim River Basin from the perspectives of urbanization, urban density, grading scales and spatial evolution patterns, using geographical theories and methods, such as fractal theory, principle component analysis, urbanization imbalance index, urban scale imbalance indicator, and urban spatial interaction. The results show that the urban spatial structure displays balanced distribution in the overall pattern, while an imbalanced distribution in each region. The development of town pattern tends to be gathering to the central towns in the oasis of Tarim River Basin and a development axis has begun to form along the southern Xinjiang railway. Based on the division of urban hinterland, and the development characteristics of oasis economy, this paper puts forward an urban spatial organization model. This model uses 'breakpoint model' and divides Tarim River Basin into five urban clusters: Korla urban cluster, Kuqa urban cluster, Aksu urban cluster, Kashgar urban cluster and Hotan urban cluster. 8A full-process intelligent trial system for smart court显示文摘In constructing a smart court,to provide intelligent assistance for achieving more efficient,fair,and explainable trial proceedings,we propose a full-process intelligent trial system(FITS).In the proposed FITS,we introduce essential tasks for constructing a smart court,including information extraction,evidence classification,question generation,dialogue summarization,judgment prediction,and judgment document generation.Specifically,the preliminary work involves extracting elements from legal texts to assist the judge in identifying the gist of the case efficiently.With the extracted attributes,we can justify each piece of evidence’s validity by establishing its consistency across all evidence.During the trial process,we design an automatic questioning robot to assist the judge in presiding over the trial.It consists of a finite state machine representing procedural questioning and a deep learning model for generating factual questions by encoding the context of utterance in a court debate.Furthermore,FITS summarizes the controversy focuses that arise from a court debate in real time,constructed under a multi-task learning framework,and generates a summarized trial transcript in the dialogue inspectional summarization(DIS)module.To support the judge in making a decision,we adopt first-order logic to express legal knowledge and embed it in deep neural networks(DNNs)to predict judgments.Finally,we propose an attentional and counterfactual natural language generation(AC-NLG)to generate the court’s judgment.Bin WEI Kun KUANG Changlong SUN Jun FENG Yating ZHANG Xinli ZHU Jianghong ZHOU Yinsheng ZHAI Fei WU 2022Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering2022,23,2:2

13Predictors of pathologic complete response in patients with residual flat mucosal lesions after neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy for locally advanced rectal cancer显示文摘Objective:The accurate prediction of tumor response to neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy(nCRT)remains challenging.Few studies have investigated pathologic complete response(ypCR)prediction in patients with residual flat mucosal lesions after treatment.This study aimed to identify variables for predicting ypCR in patients with residual flat mucosal lesions after nCRT for locally advanced rectal cancer(LARC).Methods:Data of patients with residual flat mucosal lesions after nCRT who underwent radical resection between 2009 and 2015 were retrospectively collected from the LARC database at Peking University Cancer Hospital.Univariate and multivariate analyses of the association between clinicopathological factors and ypCR were performed,and a nomogram was constructed by incorporating the significant predictors.Results:Of the 246 patients with residual flat mucosal lesions included in the final analysis,56(22.8%)had ypCR.Univariate and multivariate analyses showed that pretreatment cT stage(pre-cT)≤T2(P=0.016),magnetic resonance tumor regression grade(MR-TRG)1-3(P=0.001)and residual mucosal lesion depth=0 mm(P<0.001)were associated with a higher rate of ypCR.A nomogram was developed with a concordance index(C-index)of0.759 and the calibration curve showed that the nomogram model had good predictive consistency.The follow-up time ranged from 3.0 to 113.3 months,with a median follow-up time of 63.77 months.The multivariate Cox regression model showed that the four variables in the nomogram model were not risk factors for disease-free survival(DFS)or overall survival(OS).Conclusions:Completely flat mucosa,early cT stage and good MR-TRG were predictive factors for ypCR instead of DFS or OS in patients with LARC with residual flat mucosal lesions after nCRT.Endoscopic mucosal re-evaluation before surgery is important,as it may contribute to decision-making and facilitate nonoperative management or organ preservation.Changlong Li Zhen Guan Yi Zhao Tingting Sun Zhongwu Li Weihu Wang Zhexuan Li Lin Wang Aiwen Wu 2022Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2022,34,4:1
14Nucleic acids analysis显示文摘Nucleic acids are natural biopolymers of nucleotides that store, encode, transmit and express genetic information, which play central roles in diverse cellular events and diseases in living things. The analysis of nucleic acids and nucleic acids-based analysis have been widely applied in biological studies, clinical diagnosis, environmental analysis, food safety and forensic analysis.During the past decades, the field of nucleic acids analysis has been rapidly advancing with many technological breakthroughs.In this review, we focus on the methods developed for analyzing nucleic acids, nucleic acids-based analysis, device for nucleic acids analysis, and applications of nucleic acids analysis. The representative strategies for the development of new nucleic acids analysis in this field are summarized, and key advantages and possible limitations are discussed. 15Metabolic profile of chiral cobalt oxide nanoparticles in vitro and in vivo显示文摘In this study,we investigated the in vivo behaviors of chiral cobalt oxide nanoparticles(Co_(3)O_(4) NPs)stabilized with D-or L-cysteine(denoted D-or L-NPs,respectively),as representative chiral metal oxide NPs.Chiral Co_(3)O_(4) NPs exerted no observable cytotoxicity within the tested dose range.Both D-NPs and L-NPs were internalized by dendritic cells through caveola-dependent endocytosis,and L-NPs entered the cells faster than D-NPs.Significantly,a metabolic analysis indicated that chiral L-NPs had the same effect on the level of bile acids in the liver as D-NPs,which is attributed to the almost equal amount of farnesoid X receptor(FXR)induced by the chiral NPs.This study suggests that low chiroptical activity nanomaterials would not affect the metabolism and kinetics under physiological conditions even if there is some difference in their transport.Si Li Liwei Xu Meiru Lu Maozhong Sun Liguang Xu Changlong Hao Xiaoling Wu Chuanlai Xu Hua Kuang 2021Nano Research2021,14,7:0
16Inversion of Evaporation and Water Vapor Transport Using HY-2 Multi-Sensor Data显示文摘HY-2 satellite is the first marine dynamic environment satellite of China.In this study,global evaporation and water vapor transport of the global sea surface are calculated on the basis of HY-2 multi-sensor data from April 1 to 30,2014.The algorithm of evaporation and water vapor transport is discussed in detail,and results are compared with other reanalysis data.The sea surface temperature of HY-2 is in good agreement with the ARGO buoy data.Two clusters are shown in the scatter plot of HY-2 and OAFlux evaporation due to the uneven global distribution of evaporation.To improve the calculation accuracy,we compared the different parameterization schemes and adopted the method of calibrating HY-2 precipitation data by SSM/I and Global Precipitation Climatology Project(GPCP)data.In calculating the water vapor transport,the adjustment scheme is proposed to match the balance of the water cycle for data in the low latitudes.LIU Dong’ang SUN Jian GUAN Changlong 2020Journal of Ocean University of China2020,19,1:0
17Intelligent Knee Prostheses: A Systematic Review of Control Strategies显示文摘The intelligent knee prosthesis is capable of human-like bionic lower limb control through advanced control systems and artificial intelligence algorithms that will potentially minimize gait limitations for above-knee amputees and facilitate their reintegration into society.In this paper,we sum up the control strategies corresponding to the prevailing control objectives(position and impedance)of the current intelligent knee prosthesis.Although these control strategies have been successfully implemented and validated in relevant experiments,the existing deficiencies still fail to achieve optimal performance of the controllers,which complicates the definition of a standard control method.Before a mature control system can be developed,it is more important to realize the full potential for the control strategy,which requires upgrading and refining the relevant key technologies based on the existing control methods.For this reason,we discuss potential areas for improvement of the prosthetic control system based on the summarized control strategies,including intent recognition,sensor system,prosthetic evaluation,and parameter optimization algorithms,providing future directions toward optimizing control strategies for the next generation of intelligent knee prostheses.Linrong Li Xiaoming Wang Qiaoling Meng Changlong Chen Jie Sun Hongliu Yu 2022Journal of Bionic Engineering2022,19,5:0

19High‑Quality Epitaxial N Doped Graphene on SiC with Tunable Interfacial Interactions via Electron/Ion Bridges for Stable Lithium‑Ion Storage显示文摘Tailoring the interfacial interaction in SiCbased anode materials is crucial to the accomplishment of higher energy capacities and longer cycle lives for lithium-ion storage.In this paper,atomic-scale tunable interfacial interaction is achieved by epitaxial growth of high-quality N doped graphene(NG)on SiC(NG@SiC).This well-designed NG@SiC heterojunction demonstrates an intrinsic electric field with intensive interfacial interaction,making it an ideal prototype to thoroughly understand the configurations of electron/ion bridges and the mechanisms of interatomic electron migration.Both density functional theory(DFT)analysis and electrochemical kinetic analysis reveal that these intriguing electron/ion bridges can control and tailor the interfacial interaction via the interfacial coupled chemical bonds,enhancing the interfacial charge transfer kinetics and preventing pulverization/aggregation.As a proof-of-concept study,this well-designed NG@SiC anode shows good reversible capacity(1197.5 mAh g^(−1)after 200 cycles at 0.1 A g^(−1))and cycling durability with 76.6%capacity retention at 447.8 mAh g^(−1)after 1000 cycles at 10.0 A g^(−1).As expected,the lithium-ion full cell(LiFePO_(4)/C//NG@SiC)shows superior rate capability and cycling stability.This interfacial interaction tailoring strategy via epitaxial growth method provides new opportunities for traditional SiC-based anodes to achieve high-performance lithium-ion storage and beyond.Changlong Sun Xin Xu Cenlin Gui Fuzhou Chen Yian Wang Shengzhou Chen Minhua Shao Jiahai Wang 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,11:0
