1Permanent Magnet Shape Optimization Method for PMSM Air Gap Flux Density Harmonics Reduction显示文摘This paper proposed a permanent magnet optimization method to suppress the air gap flux density harmonic of permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM).The method corrected the effective air gap length of the motor, calculated the magnetization length of the permanent in the case of parallel magnetization, and took the influence of the permanent magnet relative permeability into consideration.Based on these works, for a given sinusoidal air gap flux density waveform, the corresponding structural parameters can be calculated,so as to achieve the optimization of the permanent magnet.By using this method to optimize the shape of the magnet, the fundamental wave of the air gap flux density can be retained to the greatest extent,so as to eliminate harmonics and maintain the output capacity at the same time. The feasibility and accuracy of the method have been verified by finite element analysis(FEA)and prototype machine experiment. This method is simple and time-saving,and has a satisfactory accuracy, which provides a reference method for permanent magnet optimization of PMSM.Chengsi Liu Yongxiang Xu Jibin Zou Guodong Yu Liang Zhuo 2021CES Transactions on Electrical Machines and Systems2021,5,4:4

3Megakaryocyte aplastic thrombocytopeniaafter CAR T-cell therapy in a patient withmultiple myeloma:A case report显示文摘Chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)T-cell therapy is an effective new treatment strategy for hematologic malignancies. The success of CAR T-cell therapy in treating leukemia and lymphoma has promoted its development for multiple myeloma(MM),and the initial results of CAR T cell therapy have been encouraging.CAR T-cell therapy target antigens that have been clinically evaluated in MM;these antigens include CD19,B cell maturation antigen(BCMA),CD38,and CD138.A barrier to the widespread use of CAR T-cell therapy is its toxicity, primarily cytokine release syndrome(CRS),and neurologic toxicity. This study reports a patient with refractory MM who also developed megakaryocyte aplastic thrombocytopenia after receiving CAR T-cell therapy;such a case or the unusual side effects involving medications are yet unreported. There are risks in using cyclosporine and other immunosuppressants that may lead to MM recurrence as the use of such substances is contradictory to previous treatments;therefore,we temporarily administered platelet infusion as supportive care. Thus far,the condition of the patient has been steady and the patient regularly takes blood test in the hospital.Shangqin Liu Chengsi Gui 2021Oncology and Translational Medicine2021,7,1:1

6Assimilation of GOES-R Geostationary Lightning Mapper Flash Extent Density Data in GSI 3DVar, EnKF, and Hybrid En3DVar for the Analysis and Short-Term Forecast of a Supercell Storm Case显示文摘Capabilities to assimilate Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite “R-series ”(GOES-R) Geostationary Lightning Mapper(GLM) flash extent density(FED) data within the operational Gridpoint Statistical Interpolation ensemble Kalman filter(GSI-EnKF) framework were previously developed and tested with a mesoscale convective system(MCS) case. In this study, such capabilities are further developed to assimilate GOES GLM FED data within the GSI ensemble-variational(EnVar) hybrid data assimilation(DA) framework. The results of assimilating the GLM FED data using 3DVar, and pure En3DVar(PEn3DVar, using 100% ensemble covariance and no static covariance) are compared with those of EnKF/DfEnKF for a supercell storm case. The focus of this study is to validate the correctness and evaluate the performance of the new implementation rather than comparing the performance of FED DA among different DA schemes. Only the results of 3DVar and pEn3DVar are examined and compared with EnKF/DfEnKF. Assimilation of a single FED observation shows that the magnitude and horizontal extent of the analysis increments from PEn3DVar are generally larger than from EnKF, which is mainly caused by using different localization strategies in EnFK/DfEnKF and PEn3DVar as well as the integration limits of the graupel mass in the observation operator. Overall, the forecast performance of PEn3DVar is comparable to EnKF/DfEnKF, suggesting correct implementation.Rong KONG Ming XUE Edward R.MANSELL Chengsi LIU Alexandre O.FIERRO 2024Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2024,41,2:0
7Myopathological features in MELAS syndrome without significant changes in muscle biopsy pathology显示文摘Mitochondrial encephalomyopathy, lactic acidosis, and stroke-like episodes (MELAS) are common types of mitochondrial encephalomyopathy. The involved muscular pathology is characterized by typical changes of mitochondrial abnormalities. Gene screening has been the gold diagnostic standard for MELAS diagnosis. This study presents three primary MELAS patients, with an age of onset from 13 to 18 years, including one patient with seizure, and two with headache and vomiting. All patients had a family history of disease, with maternal inheritance. Cerebral magnetic resonance imaging revealed abnormally high signals in T2-weighted images: temporal lobe in three cases, occipital lobe in two cases, and parietal lobe in one case. Migrating stroke-like lesions were confirmed in one patient. Muscle biopsy revealed several strongly succinate dehydro-genase-reactive vessels scattered in muscle sections of three patients, but ragged-red fibers and cytochrome c oxidase-negative/dense (COX-/+) fibers were not observed. Mitochondrial DNA A3243G mutation was identified in all three cases. MELAS syndrome has obvious clinical heterogeneity, and muscle weakness was not prominent in some of the cases. Muscle pathological changes did not accompany ragged-red fibers or COX-/+ fibers, but succinate dehydrogenase-reactive vessels are important for MELAS diagnosis.Pu Fang Chengsi Wu Meihong Zhou Renshi Xu Xianhua Liu Caixia Wei 2010Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,21:0
