| 1 | Study on Relationship between Microstructure of Active Phase and HDS Performance of Sulfided Ni-Mo Catalysts: Effect of Metal Loading显示文摘Six Ni-Mo catalysts with different metal contents were prepared and characterized by N2 adsorption and X-ray diffractometry. The active phase microstructure of these catalysts was examined by the Raman spectroscopy, temperatureprogrammed reduction(TPR), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy. Hydrodesulfurization(HDS) activity of catalyst samples were analyzed in a flow fixed-bed microreactor. The sulfidation degree of Mo and the length of the MoS2 slab slightly increased with the amount of metal loaded following sulfidation. This small change is attributed to polymolybdate species observed in all the oxidized catalysts. Weak metal-support interactions, as determined by the TPR technique, increased the NiSx sulfidation phase and MoS2 slab stacking. The HDS activity of the catalyst samples increased with the number of active sites. For high metal loading catalysts, their HDS activity was nearly identical because the sulfur atoms cannot easily approach active sites. | 3 | Effects of tourmaline on nitrogen removal performance and biofilm structures in the sequencing batch biofilm reactor显示文摘The effects of tourmaline on nitrogen removal performance and biofilm structures were comparatively investigated in two identical laboratory-scale sequencing batch biofilm reactors(SBBRs)(denoted SBBR1 and SBBR2) at different nitrogen loading rates(NLRs) varying from(0.24 ± 0.01) to(1.26 ± 0.02) g N/(L·day). SBBR1 was operated in parallel with SBBR2, but SBBR1 was filled with polyurethane foam loaded tourmaline(TPU) carriers and another(SBBR2) filled with polyurethane foam(PU) carriers. Results obtained from this study showed that the excellent and stable performance of SBBR1 was obtained. Ammonia nitrogen removal and total nitrogen removal were higher in SBBR1 than that in SBBR2 with increase of NLR. At an NLR of(0.24 ± 0.01) g N/(L·day), the majority of the spherical and elliptical bacteria were surrounded by the extracellular polymeric substance(EPS) and bacillus or filamentous bacteria in two SBBRs biofilms. When NLR increased to(1.26 ± 0.02) g N/(L·day), the clusters were more obvious in the SBBR1 biofilm than that in the SBBR2 biofilm. Bacteria in SBBR1 were inclined to synthesis more EPS, and the formed EPS could protect the bacteria from free ammonia(FA) under extreme condition NLR(1.26 ± 0.02) g N/(L·day). | 4 | Highly efficient generation of GGTA1 knockout pigs using a combination of TALEN m RNA and magnetic beads with somatic cell nuclear transfer显示文摘The transcription activator-like effector nuclease(TALEN) technique combined with the somatic cell nuclear transfer(SCNT) method has been successfully applied for creating genetically modified pigs. However, methods for isolating cells with biallelic indels requires further improvement because of the relatively low enrichment efficiency of mutated somatic cells. Moreover, little is known regarding the off-target effects of the TALEN system and the heredity of TALEN-modified pigs. In this study, an efficient method to increase the enrichment efficiency of TALEN-mediated biallelic knockout(KO) cells was established, and corresponding genetically modified pigs with the expected genotype were generated whose off-target effect, fertility and heredity characteristics were aslo evaluated. Two TALEN pairs were constructed to target the porcine α-1,3-galactosyltransferase(GGTA1) gene locus. TALEN m RNA was transfected into the ear fibroblasts followed by the enrichment of α-Gal null cells of minipigs using isolectin B4(IB4) lectin and m agnetic beads. A total of 115 cell c olonies were formed and validated to be GGTA1 KO cells by sequencing and 10 biallelic KO cell colonies were used as nuclear donors for SCNT. Thirty GGTA1 biallelic KO piglets were successfully delivered and grew normally. Seventeen potential off-target sites were investigated, and no off-target events were detected in the live piglets. To determine t he fertility and heredity characteristics of TALEN-modified pigs, 10 mature founders w ere mated with each other and the mutations were determined to be transmitted to the F1 piglets. The formation and distribution of large-scale coherent structures and their effect on momentum partition are analyzed using two-point correlation and probability density function. Compared with smooth surface, the streamwise riblets reduce the friction velocity and Reynolds stress in the turbulent boundary layer, indicating the drag reduction effect. Strong correlation has been found between the occurrence of hairpin vortices and the momentum distribution. The number and streamwise length scale of hairpin vortices decrease over streamwise riblet surface. | 8 | Photochemical degradation of typical halogenated herbicide 2,4-D in drinking water with UV/H_(2)O_(2)/micro-aeration显示文摘UV/H2O2/micro-aeration is a newly developed process based on UV/H2O2. Halogenated pesticide 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) photochemical degradation in aqueous solution was studied under various solution conditions. The UV intensity,initial 2,4-D concentrations and solution temperature varied from 183.6 to 1048.7 μW·cm-2,from 59.2 to 300.0 μg·L-1 and from 15 to 30℃,respectively. The concentration of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and pH ranged from 0 to 50 mg·L-1 and 5 to 9,and different water quality solutions (tap water,distilled water and deionized water) were examined in this study. With initial concentration of about 100 μg·L-1,more than 95.6% of 2,4-D can be removed in 90 min at intensity of UV radiation of 843.9 μW·cm-2,H2O2 dosage of 20 mg·L-1,pH 7 and room temperature. The removal efficiency of 2,4-D by UV/H2O2/micro-aeration process is better than UV/H2O2 process. The photodecomposition of 2,4-D in aqueous solution follows pseudo-first-order kinetics. 2,4-D is greatly affected by UV irradation intensity,H2O2 dosage,initial 2,4-D concentration and water quality solutions,but it appears to be slightly influenced by pH and temperature. There is a linear relationship between rate constant k and UV intensity and initial H2O2 concentration,which indicates that higher removal capacity can be achieved by the improvement of these factors. Herein we report that a quick one step detection of cell surface marker that was realized by a specially designed NiF e-based magnetic biosensing cell chip combined with functionalized magnetic nanoparticles. Magnetic nanoparticles with 20-30 nm in diameter were prepared by coprecipitation and modified with RGD-4C, and the resultant RGD-functionalized magnetic nanoparticles were used for targeting cancer cells cultured on the NiF e-based magnetic biosensing chip and distinguish the amount of cell surface receptor-integrin.Cell lines such as Calu3, Hela, A549, CaF br, HEK293 and HUVEC exhibiting different integrin expression were chosen as test samples. Calu3, Hela, HEK293 and HUVEC cells were successfully identified. This approach has advantages in the qualitative screening test. Compared with traditional method, it is fast, sensitive, low cost,easy-operative, and needs very little human intervention. | 13 | Effects of surface shapes on properties of turbulent/non-turbulent interface in turbulent boundary layers显示文摘The effects of directional riblets surfaces on the turbulent/non-turbulent(T/NT) interface in turbulent boundary layers are experimentally investigated using two-dimensional time-resolved particle image velocimetry(PIV). The velocity field of streamwise-wall-normal plane for the smooth surface, converging and diverging riblets surfaces are measured. The interface is detected using the criterion of local kinetic energy. The statistical properties of interface height and conditional averaged velocity for different surfaces are analyzed. It is shown that, the converging and diverging riblets surfaces have little effect on the fractal dimension of the T/NT interface, but they cause the intermittency profile deviate from error function and the probability distribution of interface height deviate from Gaussian function. To be specific, the distribution of interface height for the converging riblets surface shows a positive skewness while it shows a negative skewness for the diverging riblets surface.Moreover, the conditional averaged streamwise velocity and spanwise vorticity across the interface are analyzed, and it is found that their self-similarities are preserved for different surfaces when normalized with respective friction velocity. | 17 | Graphene/RuO2 nanocrystal composites as sulfur host for lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘An optimized graphene/RuO2/S composite is prepared by hydrothermal growth of RuO2 particles on graphene oxide sheets as the positive electrode for rechargeable lithium-sulfur batteries. The electrode with 6.1 wt% RuO2 nanocrystals and a high sulfur content of 79.0 wt% delivers an optimal electrochemical performance with high residual capacities of 508 mAh g-1 after 200 cycles and 389 m Ah g-1 after800 cycles at 1 C with a low capacity decay of 0.054%. The RuO2 nanocrystals promote the redox reaction kinetics and facilitate the transformation of sulfur chemistry, leading to large improvements in reversibility and rate capability of the composite electrode. The density functional theory calculations signify the formation of Li–O and Ru–S bonds through chemical interactions between RuO2 and Li polysulfides while the adsorption energies between graphene and polysulfide species are much higher in the presence of RuO2 than that of the neat graphene acting alone. | 20 | Laser Surface Remelting of Fe-based Alloy Coating Deposited by APS显示文摘The Fe-based amorphous alloy coatings with different porosities were deposited on Q235 steel substrates by means of atmospheric plasma spraying(APS).The as-sprayed coatings were remelted by the facility of a Nd:YAG laser to further enhance their compactness and bonding strength via orthogonal experiment design.The effects of laser remelting on the microstructure,phase compositions and mechanical properties of the as-sprayed coatings were investigated by optical microscopy,scanning electron microscope,X-ray diffraction and Vickers microhardness tester.The corrosion performance of the coatings was evaluated by both potential dynamic measurements(PDM)and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)in a 10%NaOH solution.The results indicate that laser power of 700 W,scanning velocity of 4 mm/s,beam size of 3 mm and porosity of 1.19%are the optimized remelting process parameters.The laser-remelted coatings exhibite more homogenous structure as strong metallurgical bonding to substrates.The amorphous phases in the as-sprayed coatings crystallize toα-Fe,Fe2Si,Fe3.5B,and Fe2W phases for the high temperature and rapid solidification in the remelting process.The microhardness values of as-sprayed are in the range of 700-800 HV0.1,while the microhardness values of the remelted coatings are enhanced slightly to 750-850 HV0.1.Both PDM and EIS analysis results show that the remelted coatings exhibite relatively excellent corrosion resistance compared with the stainless steel 1Cr18Ni9Ti,however the corrosion resistance of the remelted coatings is inferior to the as-sprayed amorphous coatings. | Fu Teng Ye Fuxing Wei Haihong Cui Chong | 2012 | 稀有金属材料与工程2012,41,S1: | 2 |
