| 1 | Threshold pressure gradient of fluid flow through multi-porous media in low and extra-low permeability reservoirs显示文摘After analyzing many studies of fluid flow theory of multi-porous media in low and extra-low permeability reservoirs and the numerical simulation of non-Darcy flow, we found that a negative flow rate occurs in the existing non-Darcy flow equation, which is unreasonable. We believe that the existing equation can only be considered as a discriminant to judging Darcy flow or non-Darcy flow, and cannot be taken as a fluid flow governing equation of multi-porous media. Our analysis of the experimental results shows that the threshold pressure gradient(TPG) of low and extra-low permeability reservoirs is excessively high, and does not conform to fluid flow through multi-porous media in the actual reservoir situation. Therefore, we present a reasonable TPG ranging from 0.006 to 0.04 MPa/m at the well depth of 1500 m and oil drainage distance of 500 m. The results of our study also indicate that the non-Darcy flow phenomenon will disappear when the TPG reaches a certain value. In addition, the TPG or non-Darcy flow in low and extra-low permeability reservoirs does not need to be considered in the productivity prediction and reservoir numerical simulation. | 2 | Stress and sleep:a survey based on wearable sleep trackers among medical and nursing staff in Wuhan during the COVID-19 pandemic显示文摘Backgroud COVID-19 pandemic has significantly affected the sleep health of local medical and nursing staff.Aim We used wearable pulse oximeters to monitor and screen the medical and nursing staff working in hospitals designated for COVID-19 in the Wuhan area.This study aimed to establish a reliable basis to provide sleep intervention for the medical and nursing staff.Methods Thirty medical and nursing staff members with symptoms of insomnia were instructed to wear medical ring-shaped pulse oximeters to monitor their sleep overnight.We also used the Insomnia Severity Index(ISI)and the Chinese version of the Self-Reporting Questionnaire(SRQ-20)to evaluate the severity of insomnia and mental health status,respectively,for each participant.Results Among the 30 participants,only 26 completed the screening.Ten cases(38.5%)demonstrated moderate to severe sleep apnoea-hypopnea syndrome(SAHS)when using an oxygen desaturation index^15 times/hour as the cut-off value.Participants with comorbid moderate to severe SAHS had significantly higher ISI and SRQ scores(p values 0.034 and 0.016,respectively)than those in the insomnia group.Correlation analysis revealed that ISI was positively correlated with total sleep time(TST)(r=0.435,p=0.026),and negatively correlated with deep sleep(r=-0.495,p=0.010);furthermore,patient SRQ scores were positively correlated with TST,sleep efficiency(SE)and REM(rapid eyes movement)sleep%(r=0.454 and 0.389,0.512;p=0.020,0.050 and 0.008,respectively).Stepwise logistic regression indicated that SRQ-20 and sex were risk factors for insomnia with comorbid SAHS,and their OR values were 1.516 and 11.56(95%Cl 1.053 to 2.180 and 1.037 to 128.9),respectively.Conclusion Medical and nursing staff with insomnia showed clear signs of comorbid sleep apnoea attributable to stress.The wearable pulse oximeters accurately monitored the participants'breathing when asleep. | Kaiming Zhuo Cunyou Gao Xiaohui Wang Chen Zhang Zhen Wang | 2020 | General Psychiatry2020,33,3: | 3 |

| 4 | Molten steel level stability in continuous casting slab mold under electromagnetic stirring显示文摘Fluctuation of molten steel level in continuous casting process is a critical issue. The analytic function for the liquid steel surface stability index( F) of the continuous casting slab mold under the action of electromagnetic stirring was derived. The effects on the F value of the electromagnetic field,casting mold,submerged entry nozzle,and casting speed were observed,and the stability of the process parameters of a practical continuous casting system was evaluated. | 5 | Progress on research of induction heating in Baosteel显示文摘Owing to the development of newproducts and higher requirement of product properties,the current existing induction heating technology of Baosteel can no longer satisfy the newrequirements of the product line.Control of the induction heating temperature to an appropriate value is a key consideration in induction heating technology. To obtain acculturated temperatures,investigations were focused on the parameters of an induction heating system,including those of induction heating equipment and heating processes. In these investigations,computer simulation was used to model the induction heating process,followed by physical experimentation to verify and improve the simulation model; finally,optimized induction heating parameters were suggested. The use of computer simulations dramatically decreased physical experimental times,and the computed heating parameters were used to guide the physical experimentation and design of the product line; this increased the efficiency of subsequent investigations. Therefore,the temperature field in the single-face quenching process of a steel pipe was simulated using ABAQUS finite element softw are,and the relationships betw een the temperatures and quenching time at different positions of the steel pipe were obtained. The simulation quickly produced accurate results,and it can be used to optimize the quenching process. | 11 | Effect of induction heating and tempering on properties and microstructures of quenched and tempered pipes显示文摘In this study,a C-Mn quenched steel tube was quickly tempered by induction heating,and the influence of the tempering temperature on its performance was studied and compared with that by traditional tempering. The results show that the yield strength of both is quite strong with regular changes in the tempering temperature,but that the tensile strength of the tube tempered by induction heating is higher than that tempered by traditional tempering by about 25 MPa,and the elongation after induction tempering is significantly higher than that after traditional tempering. The differences in the microstructures of tubes after induction and traditional tempering were compared by metallographic microscope,scanning electron microscopy,and transmission electron microscopy.Theoretical analysis was also performed. | 15 | Solute redistribution and macrosegregation in continuous casting slab of carbon steel during solidification process显示文摘Based on the modified Scheil model of solute redistribution,the effects of solidification rate,molten steel flow,and alloy composition on solute macrosegregation during the solidification of carbon steel continuous casting billet are calculated and analyzed. The formation mechanism of 'white band 'segregation under the condition of electromagnetic stirring is also involved,and some practical countermeasures to restrain the central segregation are suggested. The results show that the modified Scheil model can be applied to predict and analyze the macrosegregation of casting slab effectively. The ratio vx/R of the flow velocity of molten steel to solidification rate has decisive formations of segregation such as linear,V,and 'white band'types. It is an effective way to select sufficient terminal cooling and reasonable electromagnetic stirring in order to decrease macrosegregation in the slab.
