1Climatic trends of different intensity heavy precipitation events concentration in China显示文摘Based on 740 stations of daily precipitation datasets in China, the precipitation- concentration degree (PCD)and precipitation-concentration period (PCP)ofdifferentintensity durative precipitation eventswere calculated to analyze theirstatisticalcharacteristics,mainly including spatial and temporaldistributions,variations and climatic trends ofthe two parameters ofthe durative heavy precipitation events in China.Itis proved thatthese two parameters ofheavy rainfallcan display the temporalinhomogeneity in the precipitation field.And itis also found thatthere is a good positive relationship between the precipitation-concentration degree and annualrainfallamountin the Eastern and CentralChina.Thismethod can beapplied in flood assessmentand climatechangefields.XIE Zhiqing DU Yin JIANG Aijun DING Yuguo 2005Journal of Geographical Sciences2005,15,4:15

5FEM Simulation of Single-Grit Grinding on a 2.5D Woven Composite显示文摘Single-grit grinding of a 2.5D woven composite was investigated by the finite-element method(FEM) using a unit-cell model. According to our hypotheses, the axis of the warp yarn was a sinusoidal curve and the cross section of the weft yarn was shaped like a biconvex lens. AVUMAT subroutine was used to construct the constitutive model of the 2.5D woven composite. The grinding process of the composite was analyzed using an FEM simulation with the ABAQUS/Explicit software. A validation experiment was also carried out. The simulation results showed that a grinding crack was well simulated. Furthermore, the junctions between the warp yarn and weft yarn were found to be seriously damaged and cracks were observed to extend outward along the warp fiber during grinding, in good agreement with the experimental results. In addition,the strain of weft yarns was obviously greater than that of warp yarns when the grinding direction was perpendicular to the weft yarns and parallel to the axis of the warp yarns.These results demonstrate that the mesostructure strongly influences the grinding damage inflicted on woven composites.Yuguo Wang Chao Ding Bin Lin 2017Transactions of Tianjin University2017,23,6:1

8The impact of heterogeneity of land surface roughness length on estimation of turbulent flux in model显示文摘Based on preliminary theoretical analysis and numerical experiment,it is found that land surface heterogeneity plays an important role in the models turbulent flux calculation.In nearly neutral atmosphere conditions,variation coefficient of sub-scale roughness length,cell-average roughness,and reference height are main factors affecting the calculation of grid turbulent fluxes.The first factor has a determinant role on calculation deviation.The relative error generated by roughness heterogeneity could be more than 40% in some cases in certain areas(e.g.,in vegetation-climate transition belt).Selecting a specific reference height may improve the calculation of turbulent flux.In stable or unstable atmosphere conditions,with sensible heat flux as an example,analysis shows that the discrepancy is correlated to the sub-grid distributions of mean wind velocity,potential temperature gradient between land surface and reference levels,and atmosphere stability near surface layer caused by the heterogeneity of land surface roughness.The calculation of turbulent flux is the most sensitive to stability in the above three factors.The above analysis shows that it is necessary to make a further consideration for the calculation deviation of the turbulent fluxes brought from land surface heteroge-neity in the present numerical models.Bin Chen XiangDe Xu YuGuo Ding XiaoHui Shi 2011Research in Cold and Arid Regions2011,3,1:0
