| 2 | Effects of surface chemical properties of activated coke on selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH_3 over commercial coal-based activated coke显示文摘Surface chemical properties of typical commercial coal-based activated cokes were characterized by Xray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) and acid-base titration, and then the influence of surface chemical properties on catalytic performance of activated cokes of NO reduction with NH3 was investigated in a fixed-bed quartz micro reactor at 150 ℃. The results indicate that the selective catalytic reduction(SCR) activity of activated cokes with the increase of its surface acidic sites and oxygen content,obviously, a correlation between catalytic activity and surface acidic sites content by titration has higher linearity than catalytic activity and surface oxygen content by XPS. While basic sites content by acid-base titration have not correlation with SCR activity. | 3 | Surface chemical properties and pore structure of the activated coke and their effects on the denitrification activity of selective catalytic reduction显示文摘In order to study the mechanism of selective catalytic reduction of activated coke to remove NO in low-temperature flue gas and provide some theoretical basis for the development of related technologies.The pore sizedistribution and BET specific surface area of AC were obtain by data analyzing of N2 adsorption/desorption isotherm at -196 ℃ and carbon matrix and surface chemistry of virgin activated coke samples were characterized by acid-base titration and XPS.The process of selective catalytic reduction of activated coke (AC) samples with NH3 as reducing agent was studied in a fixed bed reactor at 150 ℃.The result shows that pore size distribution or BET specific surface of activated cokes have not correlation with denitrification activity for SCR.The NO reduction activities of the activated cokes are apparent to increase with their surface oxygen element content and total amount of acidic sites.Obviously there is good linear relationship between the NH3 adsorption capacity and activity for SCR with linear correlation coefficient 0.943.It has been presented that adsorption of NH3 on acidic functional groups in the edge of large polycyclic aromatic ring of activated coke is key rate controlling step in the SCR heterogeneous catalytic reaction. | Wei Xie Daming Liang Lanting Li Sijian Qu Wu Tao | 2019 | International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2019,6,4: | 8 |
| 4 | Coexistence of normal, super-, and hyper-deformation in nuclei: A study with angular momentum projection method显示文摘Angular-momentum-projected energy surface calculations for A ≈ 110 nuclei indicate three distinct energy minima occurring at different angular-momenta. These correspond to normal, super-, and hy- per-deformed shapes coexisting in one nucleus. 110Pd is studied in detail, with a quantitative prediction on super- and hyper-deformed spectra by the Projected Shell Model calculation. | 5 | A Novel Hybrid Point Defect of Oxygen Vacancy and Phosphorus Doping in TiO_(2)Anode for High-Performance Sodium Ion Capacitor显示文摘Although sodium ion capacitors(SICs)are considered as one of the most promising electrochemical energy storage devices(organic electrolyte batteries,aqueous batteries and supercapacitor,etc.)due to the combined merits of battery and capacitor,the slow reaction kinetics and low specific capacity of anode materials are the main challenges.Point defects including vacancies and heteroatoms doping have been widely used to improve the kinetics behavior and capacity of anode materials.However,the interaction between vacancies and heteroatoms doping have been seldomly investigated.In this study,a hybrid point defects(HPD)engineering has been proposed to synthesize TiO_(2) with both oxygen vacancies(OVs)and P-dopants(TiO_(2)/C-HPD).In comparison with sole OVs or P-doping treatments,the synergistic effects of HPD on its electrical conductivity and sodium storage performance have been clarified through the density func-tional theory calculation and sodium storage characterization.As expected,the kinetics and electronic conductivity of TiO_(2)/C-HPD3 are significantly improved,resulting in excellent rate performance and outstanding cycle stability.Moreover,the SICs assembled from TiO_(2)/C-HPD3 anode and nitrogen-doped porous carbon cathode show outstanding power/energy density,ultra-long life with good capacity retention.This work provides a novel point defect engineering perspective for the development of high-performance SICs electrode materials. | Daming Chen Youchun Wu Zhiquan Huang Jian Chen | 2022 | Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,10: | 3 |
| 6 | Hydrological Simulation Using TRMM and CHIRPS Precipitation Estimates in the Lower Lancang-Mekong River Basin显示文摘Satellite-based products with high spatial and temporal resolution provide useful precipitation information for data-sparse or ungauged large-scale watersheds. In the Lower Lancang-Mekong River Basin, rainfall stations are sparse and unevenly distributed, and the transboundary characteristic makes the collection of precipitation data more difficult, which has restricted hydrological processes simulation. In this study, daily precipitation data from four datasets(gauge observations, inverse distance weighted(IDW) data, Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission(TRMM) estimates, and Climate Hazards Group InfraRed Precipitation with Stations(CHIRPS) estimates), were applied to drive the Soil and Water Assessment Tool(SWAT) model, and then their capability for hydrological simulation in the Lower Lancang-Mekong River Basin were examined. TRMM and CHIRPS data showed good performances on precipitation estimation in the Lower Lancang-Mekong River Basin, with the better performance for TRMM product. The Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency(NSE) values of gauge, IDW, TRMM, and CHIRPS simulations during the calibration period were 0.87, 0.86, 0.95, and 0.93 for monthly flow, respectively, and those for daily flow were 0.75, 0.77, 0.86, and 0.84, respectively. TRMM and CHIRPS data were superior to rain gauge and IDW data for driving the hydrological model, and TRMM data produced the best simulation performance. Satellite-based precipitation estimates could be suitable data sources when simulating hydrological processes for large data-poor or ungauged watersheds, especially in international river basins for which precipitation observations are difficult to collect. CHIRPS data provide long precipitation time series from 1981 to near present and thus could be used as an alternative precipitation input for hydrological simulation, especially for the period without TRMM data. | 7 | Development and validation of a novel nomogram to predict aneurysm rupture in patients with multiple intracranial aneurysms:a multicentre retrospective study显示文摘Background and purpose Approximately 15%–45%of patients with unruptured intracranial aneurysms have multiple intracranial aneurysms(MIAs).Determining which one is most likely to rupture is extremely important for treatment decision making for MIAs patients.This study aimed to develop and validate a nomogram to evaluate the per-aneurysm rupture risk of MIAs patients.Methods A total of 1671 IAs from 700 patients with MIAs were randomly dichotomised into derivation and validation sets.Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to select predictors and construct a nomogram model for aneurysm rupture risk assessment in the derivation set.The discriminative accuracy,calibration performance and clinical usefulness of this nomogram were assessed.We also developed a multivariate model for a subgroup of 158 subarachnoid haemorrhage(SAH)patients and compared its performance with the nomogram model.Results Multivariate analyses identified seven variables that were significantly associated with IA rupture(history of SAH,alcohol consumption,female sex,aspect ratio>1.5,posterior circulation,irregular shape and bifurcation location).The clinical and morphological-based MIAs(CMB-MIAs)nomogram model showed good calibration and discrimination(derivation set:area under the curve(AUC)=0.740 validation set:AUC=0.772).Decision curve analysis demonstrated that the nomogram was clinically useful.Compared with the nomogram model,the AUC of multivariate model developed from SAH patients had lower value of 0.730.Conclusions This CMB-MIAs nomogram for MIAs rupture risk is the first to be developed and validated in a large multi-institutional cohort.This nomogram could be used in decision-making and risk stratification in MIAs patients. | Xin Feng Xin Tong Fei Peng Hao Niu Peng Qi Jun Lu Yang Zhao Weitao Jin Zhongxue Wu Yuanli Zhao Aihua Liu Daming Wang | 2021 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,3: | 2 |

| 9 | Study on Ocular Torsion of V Patterns Strabismus显示文摘Purpose: To investigate the ocular torsion of V patterns.Methods:Twenty-two in hospital V patterns patients underwent bilateral inferior obliquemuscles myectomy for inferior oblique overacting and hortizon recti underwent recessresection procedure to correct hortizon devation. Objective cycloposition was assessed by fundus photograph before and 7 days after surgery in all cases. The photographs was stored in computer, and the disc-fovea angle was measured by means of drawing picture software. As well as the deviation, oblique muscle function was recorded before and after surgery.Result: Seventeen cases were bilateral ocular excyclotropia, 4 cases were monocular excyclotropia and one case was normal.The disc-fovea angle of right eyes and left eyes before operation is 15.67°+5.72° and 16.59°+6.69°.The comparisons among V patterns and normal average showed significant differences ( P < 0.001). The disc-fovea angle of right eyes and left eyes after operation is 5.24°+5.87° and 7.17°+5.40°. | 14 | Identification of weathered troughs in granites for tunneling at Daya Bay reactor-neutrino experiment site显示文摘Weathered troughs are frequently encountered in granites.They can cause problems to tunneling in the rocks and have to be properly addressed.The structures or spatial shapes of weathered troughs were seldom clarified in the past.In this paper,four weathered troughs are identified by means of geophysical exploration,core drilling,logging,and in-situ stress measurement at Daya Bay reactor-neutrino experiment site in Shenzhen,China.The weathered troughs are exposed on the ground or partially covered by grass and soils,which will threaten the safety of horizontal tunneling at a shallow depth.High electrical resistivity(HER) method is adopted for its feasibility and practicality,in combination with field geological observation,ultrasonic televiewer in boreholes and in-situ stress measurement.By comparing the HER values of completely decomposed to fresh rocks,it is indicated that the HER values of weathered troughs in natural state are 0.4-100 ·m,and the in-situ stress is abnormally lower than those at upper and lower layers.Field investigations show that the depths of the four weathered troughs are 30-182 m,with bottom elevation over 10 m.The volume of each weathered trough is mostly over 1×10 6 m 3 in inverted conic form.The weathered troughs often occur in various kinds of landforms,such as ridges,gullies or gently dipping dish-like depression areas.Faults and boundaries of different granitic plutons as well as joints govern the formation,locations and strikes of these troughs under development. | Yanjun Shang Yongyue Shi Weijun Jin Daming Lin Fengbo Wu Wei Zhang | 2012 | Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2012,4,2: | 1 |

| 16 | Arterial stimulation with simultaneous venous sampling for localizing insulinomas显示文摘Purpose: The present study aimed to assess the accuracies of arterial stimulation with simultaneous venous sampling(ASVS) in preoperative localization of insulinomas. Materials and Methods: A cohort consisting of 6 males and 14 females(median age, 48.5y; range, 28–62y) with pathologically proven insulinomas were included in this study. Selective angiographies were performed with the superior mesenteric artery(SMA), gastroduodenal artery(GDA), proximal splenic artery, and midsplenic artery in all individuals. Then ASVS procedures were followed after angiographies for these arteries. Clinical characteristics of the patient and the tumor number, location, and size were recorded. The accuracy of preoperative localization of insulinomas was tested. Results: A total of 22 tumors were identified by histopathological diagnosis. The mean size of the tumor was 1.40±0.60 cm. Five tumors were in the head/neck region and 17 in the body/tail region. ASVS accurately localized 17/20(85%) cases with only biochemical data and 19/20(95%) cases with biochemical data and angiography images. Variant pancreatic arterial anatomy was revealed in 2 false cases with inferior pancreatic artery replaced by the superior mesenteric artery. | 17 | Science with the 2.5-meter Wide Field Survey Telescope(WFST)显示文摘The Wide Field Survey Telescope(WFST) is a dedicated photometric surveying facility being built jointly by University of Science and Technology of China(USTC) and the Purple Mountain Observatory(PMO). It is equipped with a 2.5-meter diameter primary mirror, an active optics system, and a mosaic CCD camera with 0.73 gigapixels on the primary focal plane for highquality image capture over a 6.5-square-degree field of view. The installation of WFST near the summit of Saishiteng mountain in the Lenghu region is scheduled in summer of 2023, and the operation is planned to start three months later. WFST will scan the northern sky in four optical bands(u, g, r and i) at cadences from hourly/daily in the deep high-cadence survey(DHS) program, to semi-weekly in the wide field survey(WFS) program. During a photometric night, a nominal 30 s exposure in the WFS program will reach a depth of 22.27, 23.32, 22.84, and 22.31(AB magnitudes) in these four bands, respectively, allowing for the detection of a tremendous amount of transients in the low-z universe and a systematic investigation of the variability of Galactic and extragalactic objects. In the DHS program, intranight 90 s exposures as deep as 23(u) and 24 mag(g), in combination with target of opportunity follow-ups, will provide a unique opportunity to explore energetic transients in demand for high sensitivities, including the electromagnetic counterparts of gravitational wave events, supernovae within a few hours of their explosions,tidal disruption events and fast, luminous optical transients even beyond redshift of unity. In addition, the final 6-year co-added images, anticipated to reach g■25.8 mag in WFS or 1.5 mags deeper in DHS, will be of fundamental importance to general Galactic and extragalactic science. The highly uniform legacy surveys of WFST will serve as an indispensable complement to those of the Vera C.
