| 1 | Freeform OST-HMD system with large exit pupil diameter and vision correction capability显示文摘Compactness and light weight,large exit pupil diameter and distance,small distortion for virtual image,and see-through light paths are pivotal factors to achieve a better,wearable experience of optical see-through headmounted displays(OST-HMDs).In addition,light efficiency of the virtual image light path is an important factor for heat dissipation in HMD devices.This paper presents a new type of OST-HMD optical system that includes three wedge-shaped freeform prisms and two symmetric lenses.Based on a 0.71 in.microdisplay,an OST-HMD prototype with a diagonal field of view(FOV)of 45.3°,an F-number(F/#)of 1.8,an exit pupil size of 12 mm×8 mm,and an eye relief of 18 mm is demonstrated.The maximum value of distortion of the final system is 0.6%and 0.4%for virtual image and see-through light path,respectively.The overall dimension of the optical system per eye is no larger than 30 mm(width)×40 mm(height)×14 mm(thickness),and the weight of the optical module including lenses,holder,and microdisplay is 12.8 g.The light efficiency of the virtual image light path is up to 50%higher than those of other OST-HMD optical solutions. | DEWEN CHENG JIAXI DUAN HAILONG CHEN HE WANG DANYANG LI QIWEI WANG QICHAO HOU TONG YANG WEIHONG HOU DONGHUA WANG XIAOYU CHI BIN JIANG YONGTIAN WANG | 2022 | Photonics Research2022,10,1: | 5 |

| 6 | IRE1α regulates the PTHrP-IHH feedback loop to orchestrate chondrocyte hypertrophy and cartilage mineralization显示文摘Cartilage development is controlled by the highly synergistic proliferation and differentiation of growth plate chondrocytes,in which the Indian hedgehog(IHH)and parathyroid hormone-related protein-parathyroid hormone-1 receptor(PTHrP-PTH1R)feedback loop is crucial.The inositol-requiring enzyme 1a/X-box-binding protein-1 spliced(IRE1α/XBP1s)branch of the unfolded protein response(UPR)is essential for normal cartilage development.However,the precise role of ER stress effector IRE1α,encoded by endoplasmic reticulum to nucleus signaling 1(ERN1),in skeletal development remains unknown.Herein,we reported that loss of IRE1α accelerates chondrocyte hypertrophy and promotes endochondral bone growth.ERN1 acts as a negative regulator of chondrocyte proliferation and differentiation in postnatal growth plates.Its deficiency interrupted PTHrP/PTH1R and IHH homeostasis leading to impaired chondrocyte hypertrophy and differentiation.XBP1s,produced by p-IRE1α-mediated splicing,binds and up-regulates PTH1R and IHH,which coordinate cartilage development.Meanwhile,ER stress cannot be activated normally in ERN1-deficient chondrocytes.In conclusion,ERN1 deficiency accelerates chondrocyte hypertrophy and cartilage mineralization by impairing the homeostasis of the IHH and PTHrP/PTH1R feedback loop and ER stress.ERN1 may have a potential role as a new target for cartilage growth and maturation. | Mengtian Fan Nana Geng Xingyue Li Danyang Yin Yuyou Yang Rong Jiang Cheng Chen Naibo Feng Li Liang Xiaoli Li Fengtao Luo Huabing Qi Qiaoyan Tan Yangli Xie Fengjin Guo | 2024 | Genes & Diseases2024,11,1: | 0 |

This paper describes a novel method to fabricate graphenebased earphones by laser scribing. The earphones have been used in wireless communication systems. A wireless communication system was built based on an ARM board. Voice from a mobile phone was transmitted to a graphene-based earphone. The output sound had a similar wave envelope to that of the input; some differences were introduced by the DC bias added to the driving circuit of the graphene-based earphone. | 12 | A first comprehensive evaluation of China's GNSS-R airborne campaign: part II—river remote sensing显示文摘The Global Navigation Satellite System Reflectometry(GNSS-R) has been proven to be a powerful technique for retrieving geophysical parameters of ocean and land. Airborne GNSS-R is an important experimental platform, because it is not only needed as validation for spaceborne application, but also possesses the advantages to be capable of remote sensing of small and medium scale targets, such as rivers and lakes. This paper presents an overview of China's airborne GNSS-R campaign conducted on May 30, 2014, in Henan. The campaign has two objectives, i.e.:(1) to examine the capability of a GNSS-R payload developed by National Space Science Center,Chinese Academy of Sciences(NSSC, CAS) for airborneobservations and(2) to study the algorithms for soil moisture and river remote sensing, including altimetry and flow velocity measurement. A previous paper has presented results of soil moisture retrieval as part I, and in this paper,initial results of the Yellow River remote sensing are presented as part II. This paper presents the river altimetry results and explores a new potential application of GNSS-R technology, which is used to detect the flow velocity of the river. The river surface height results observed by code delay altimetry method were consistent with the height results of GPS dual-frequency differential positioning altimetry. The GNSS-R altimetry results showed that decimeter level heights were achieved in 1-min sliding average.
