Full-thickness tissue engineered skin constructed with autogenic bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells显示文摘To explore the feasibility of repairing clinical cutaneous deficiency, autogenic bone marrow mesen-chymal stem cells (BMSCs) were isolated and differentiated into epidermal cells and fibroblasts in vitro supplemented with different inducing factors and biomaterials to construct functional tissue- engineered skin. The results showed that after 72 h induction, BMSCs displayed morphologic changes such as typical epidermal cell arrangement, from spindle shape to round or oval; tonofibrils, melano-somes and keratohyaline granules were observed under a transmission electronic microscope. The differentiated cells expressed epidermal stem cell surface marker CK19 (59.66% ± 4.2%) and epidermal cells differentiation marker CK10. In addition, the induced epidermal cells acquired the anti-radiation capacity featured by lowered apoptosis following exposure to UVB. On the other hand, the collagen microfibrils deposition was noticed under a transmission electronic microscope after differentiating into dermis fibroblasts; RT-PCR identified collagen type I mRNA expression in differentiated cells; radioimmunoassay detected the secretion of interleukin-6 (IL-6) and interleukin-8 (IL-8) (up to 115.06 pg/mL and 0.84 ng/mL, respectively). Further in vivo implanting BMSCs with scaffold material short-ened skin wound repair significantly. In one word, autogenic BMSCs have the potential to differentiate into epidermal cells and fibroblasts in vitro, and show clinical feasibility acting as epidermis-like and dermis-like seed cells in skin engineering.HE LiJuan, NAN Xue, WANG YunFang, GUAN LiDong, BAI CiXian, SHI ShuangShuang, YUAN HongFeng, CHEN Lin, LIU DaQing & PEI XueTao Laboratory of Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine, Institute of Blood Transfusion, Academy of Military Medical Sciences, Beijing 100850, China 2007Science China(Life Sciences)2007,50,4:16
Seismic multi-arch structures in East China显示文摘In previous papers (Wencai, 2002, 2003), the author has analyzed the deep seismic reflection profiles along some of the Mesozoic plutons in East China, and has pointed out that the crustal structures around these intrusions usually correlate with a special seismic fabric called the seismic multi-arch structure. This paper will continue to show main characteristics of the seismic multi-arch structures and discuss their relationship with mantle-origin magmatism and the lithospheric thinning process. Calibration of seismic reflectors in Chinese continental drilling sites shows that small-scale arch-like reflectors can be generated by fractured eclogites or other plutons, they do not belong to the multi-arch structure specially discussed in the paper. The multi-arch structure is char-acterized by several arch-like reflectors distributed in both the upper and lower crust with granitoid plutons or stocks exposed on the surface, which do not have obvious negative Europium anomalies. Based on the distribution pattern of arch reflectors, the multi-arch magmatic structures can be divided into three main types, namely the simple vertical combination type, the spread arch magmatic struc-ture and the arch-bouquet structure. All of them correlate to mantle-origin magmatism, but occur in different places. The spread arch magmatic structures occur within a Mesozoic/Cenozoic rift zone with very thin and hot lithosphere. The vertical combination type of the multi-arch structures occurred near the rift zones where lithosphere was thin and hot. The arch-bouquet magmatic structures occur far from the rift zones where the lithosphere is not hot. The continental rifting acted as the late episode of the lithospheric thinning process seeing that the rift zones usually coincide with the thinnest parts of the lithosphere in East China. In different locations within the lithospheric thinning areas, mantle-origin magmatic activities have different characteristics, which might generate different types of crustal structures revealed by the different types of the multi-arch magmatic structures. Therefore, high-quality deep seismic reflection profiles can be used indirectly to identify the pattern and scale of Mesozoic/Cenozoic lithospheric thinning processes and characteristics of the corresponding man-tle-origin magmatic activities.YANG Wencai1 & CHEN Zhide2 1.Institute of Geology, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, Beijing 100037, China 2.Daqing Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Production, Daqing 163712, China 2006Science China Earth Sciences2006,49,2:14

Experimental studies on perturbed acoustic resonant spectroscopy by a small rock sample in a cylindrical cavity显示文摘A measurement system for acoustic resonant spectroscopy (ARS) is estab-lished,and the effects of resonant cavity geometry, inner perturbation samples and envi-ronmental temperature on the ARS are investigated. The ARSs of the small samples with various sizes and acoustic properties are measured. The results show that at the normal pressure, the resonant frequency decreases gradually with the increase of liquid tem-perature in the cylindrical cavity, while the resonant amplitude increases. At certain pres-sure and temperature, both the resonant frequency and the amplitude decrease greatly when there exist air bubbles inside the cavity fluid. The ARS is apparently affected by the sample porosity and the sample location in the resonant cavity. At the middle of the cavity, the resonant frequencies reach their maximum values for all of the measurement samples. The resonant frequencies of the porous rock samples are smaller than those of the com-pacted samples if other acoustic parameters are the same. As the sample is moved from the top to the middle of the cavity along its axis, the resonant amplitude increases gradu-ally for the compacted rocks while decreases for the unconsolidated rocks. Furthermore, the resonant amplitude increases firstly and then decreases if the porosity of the rock sample is relatively small. In addition, through the comparisons between the experimental and theoretical results,it is found that the effects of the acoustic parameters and sizes of the samples and the size of the cylindrical cavity on the laboratory results agree well with the theoretical ones qualitatively. These results may provide basic reference for the ex-periment study of rock acoustic properties in a low frequency using ARS.CHEN Dehua1,2,WANG Xiuming2,3,CONG Jiansheng1,XU Delong1,SONG Yanjie1 & MA Shuilong4 1. 5Fault Systems and Their Mechanisms of the Formation and Distribution of the Tarim Basin,NW China显示文摘This article aims to analyze the main controlling factors of development, distribution and evolution of the fault systems in the Tarim Basin.Based on the seismic profile interpretation, comprehensive analysis of the drilling and geologic data, six fault systems maybe recognized in the Tarim Basin, they are the foreland fault system of the South Tianshan Mountain, the northern Tarim uplift fault system,North Tarim depression fault system, central fault system,Southwest Tarim fault system, and Southeast Tarim fault system. It is indicated that the main differences exist at the development, evolution and distribution of the fault systems in the Tarim Basin. The sub-fault systems can be recognized according to the differences of the fault development and distribution in the interior of the fault system. It is characterized that the multi-level differential development and distribution of the fault systems exist in the Tarim Basin. The fault belt developed in the Paleozoic strata mainly distribute at the paleo-uplift and paleo-slope in the interior of the Tarim Basin, and the fault belt occurred in the Meso–Cenozoic beds mainly develop at the peripheral foreland depressions.Zonal and segment differential development and distribution of the fault systems also exist in the Tarim Basin. The formation and distribution of the Tarim fault systems is of complex controlling mechanisms.Poly-phase structural movement and tectonic transition controls the multi-phase differential development and distribution of the fault systems in the Tarim Basin.Multi-level differential development and distribution is controlled by multi-level detachment belt and regional unconformities.Zonal and segment differential development and distribution of the Tarim fault systems maybe controlled by pre-existed basement structural texture. The major direction of the fault systems in the Tarim Basin is controlled by the later stage basin-mountain coupling.Liangjie Tang Taizhu Huang Haijun Qiu Guimei Wan Meng Li Yong Yang Daqing Xie Gang Chen 2014Journal of Earth Science2014,25,1:6
Vegfa signaling regulates diverse artery/vein formation in vertebrate vasculatures显示文摘Vascular endothelial growth factor A(Vegfa) signaling regulates vascular development during embryogenesis and organ formation. However, the signaling mechanisms that govern the formation of various arteries/veins in various tissues are incompletely understood. In this study,we utilized transcription activator-like effector nuclease(TALEN) to generate zebrafish vegfaa mutants.vegfaa^(-/-) embryos are embryonic lethal, and display a complete loss of the dorsal aorta(DA) and expansion of the cardinal vein.Activation of Vegfa signaling expands the arterial cell population at the expense of venous cells during vasculogenesis of the axial vessels in the trunk.Vegfa signaling regulates endothelial cell(EC) proliferation after arterial-venous specification.Vegfa deficiency and overexpression inhibit the formation of tip cell filopodia and interfere with the pathfinding of intersegmental vessels(ISVs).In the head vasculature,vegfaa^(-/-) causes loss of a pair of mesencephalic veins(MsVs) and central arteries(CtAs),both of which usually dvelop via sprouting angiogenesis. Our results indicate that Vegfa signaling induces the formation of the DA at the expense of the cardinal vein during the trunk vasculogenesis, and that Vegfa is required for the angiogenic formation of MsVs and CtAs in the brain. These findings suggest that Vegfa signaling governs the formation of diverse arteries/veins by distinct cellular mechanisms in vertebrate vasculatures.Daqing Jin Diqi Zhu Yabo Fang Yiwei Chen Gaihong Yu Weijun Pan Dong Liu Fen Li Tao P.Zhong 2017Journal of Genetics and Genomics2017,44,10:6
A Decision-Making Method for Air Combat Maneuver Based on Hybrid Deep Learning Network显示文摘In this paper, a hybrid deep learning network-based model is proposed and implemented for maneuver decision-making in an air combat environment. The model consists of stacked sparse auto-encoder network for dimensionality reduction of high-dimensional,dynamic time series combat-related data and long shortterm memory network for capturing the quantitative relationship between maneuver control variables and the time series combat-related data after dimensionality reduction. This model features: using time series data as the basis of decision-making, which is more in line with the actual decision-making process;using stacked sparse auto-encoder network to reduce the dimension of time series data to predict the result more accurately;in addition, taking the maneuver control variables as the output to control the maneuver, which makes the maneuver process more flexible. The relevant experiments have demonstrated that the proposed model can effectively improve the prediction accuracy and convergence rate in the prediction of maneuver control variables.LI Bo LIANG Shiyang CHEN Daqing LI Xitong 2022Chinese Journal of Electronics2022,31,1:6

Preparation and characterization of a specialized lunar regolith simulant for use in lunar low gravity simulation显示文摘Lunar in-situ resource utilization(ISRU)has been put on the agenda by many countries.Due to the special material nature and low gravity environment, the lunar regolith demonstrates significantly different behavior from terrestrial geomaterials. However, the systematic understanding of its geotechnical behavior is now seriously restricted by the scarcity of lunar regolith and the difficulty in simulating lunar gravity.A new lunar regolith simulant, termed as China University of Mining and Technology Number One(CUMT-1),has been developed to recover properties of the lunar regolith and simulate the lunar gravity by adopting the recently advanced geotechnical magnetic-similitude-gravity model testing(GMMT)method. The CUMT-1 simulant was prepared by reproducing the in-situ formation and fragmentation of the lunar matrix, which plays a key role in the irregular particle morphology. The mineralogical compositions, particle morphology and gradation, specific gravity, bulk density, void ratio, shear strength, and compressibility were determined. After quantifying the magnetization and magnetic-similitude-gravity characteristics,an application of the cone penetration resistance under low gravity was further given. The obtained results are compared to the values known for lunar regolith samples and other simulants, which demonstrates promising characteristics for use in geotechnical engineering-based and scientificbased applications, especially considering the influence of lunar gravity.Ruilin Li Guoqing Zhou Kang Yan Jun Chen Daqing Chen Shangyue Cai Pin-Qiang Mo 2022International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2022,32,1:4
Inhibiting Hv1 channel in peripheral sensory neurons attenuates chronic inflammatory pain and opioid side effects显示文摘Both opioids and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDS)produce deleterious side effects and fail to provide sustained relief in patients with chronic inflammatory pain.Peripheral neuroinflammation(PN)is critical for initiation and development of inflammatory pain.A better understanding of molecular mechanisms underlying PN would facilitate the discovery of new analgesic targets and the development of new therapeutics.Emerging evidence suggests that peripheral sensory neurons are not only responders to painful stimuli, but are also actively engaged in inflammation and immunity, whereas the intrinsic regulatory mechanism is poorly understood. Here we report the expression of proton-selective ion channel Hv1 in peripheral sensory neurons in rodents and humans, which was previously shown as selectively expressed in microglia in mammalian central nervous system.Neuronal Hv1 was up-regulated by PN or depolarizing stimulation, which in turn aggravates inflammation and nociception.Inhibiting neuronal Hv1 genetically or by a newly discovered selective inhibitor YHV98-4 reduced intracellular alkalization and ROS production in inflammatory pain, mitigated the imbalance in downstream SHP-1-pAKT signaling, and also diminished pro-inflammatory chemokine release to alleviate nociception and morphine-induced hyperalgesia and tolerance. Thus, our data reveal neuronal Hv1 as a novel target in analgesia strategy and managing opioids-related side effects.Qiansen Zhang Yimin Ren Yiqing Mo Peipei Guo Ping Liao Yuncheng Luo Jie Mu Zhuo Chen Yang Zhang Ya Li Linghui Yang Daqing Liao Jie Fu Juwen Shen Wei Huang Xuewen Xu Yanyan Guo Lianghe Mei Yunxia Zuo Jin Liu Huaiyu Yang Ruotian Jiang 2022Cell Research2022,32,5:3
An adaptive dwell time scheduling model for phased array radar based on three-way decision显示文摘Real-time resource allocation is crucial for phased array radar to undertake multi-task with limited resources, such as the situation of multi-target tracking,in which targets need to be prioritized so that resources can be allocated accordingly and effectively.A three-way decision-based model is proposed for adaptive scheduling of phased radar dwell time.Using the model, the threat posed by a target is measured by an evaluation function, and therefore,a target is assigned to one of the three possible decision regions,i.e.,positive region, negative region, and boundary region.A different region has a various priority in terms of resource demand, and as such,a different radar resource allocation decision is applied to each region to satisfy different tracking accuracies of multi-target.In addition, the dwell time scheduling model can be further optimized by implementing a strategy for determining a proper threshold of three-way decision making to optimize the thresholds adaptively in real-time.The advantages and the performance of the proposed model have been verified by experimental simulations with comparison to the traditional twoway decision model and the three-way decision model without threshold optimization. The experiential results demonstrate that the performance of the proposed model has a certain advantage in detecting high threat targets.LI Bo TIAN Linyu CHEN Daqing LIANG Shiyang 2020Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2020,31,3:3
Salt-related structure and deformation mechanism of the Middle-Lower Cambrian in the middle-west parts of the Central Uplift and adjacent areas of the Tarim Basin显示文摘The salt beds of the Middle-Lower Cambrian are widespread in the middle-west parts of the Central Uplift and adjacent areas, the Tarim Basin. This paper presents the results of seismic interpretation and drilling data analysis, which discovered that the salt beds were formed in an old geologic age, deeply buried, with relatively small scaled flowing and gathering and uneven distribution. As the regional detachment layers, the salt sequences considerably control the structural deformation of the up-salt Paleozoic, forming a series of hydrocarbon traps. In due course, the salt beds of the Middle-Lower Cambrian provide excellent cap rocks and trap conditions; thus the value of exploring hydrocabon reservoir in the target strata of the sub-salt Sinian- Cambrian is greatly increased. Research has shown that the salt-related structures of the Middle-Lower Cambrian in the area mainly exist in the form of salt pillow, salt roller, up-salt anticline, salt diapir, assemblage of the salt arch and up-salt fault-block, assemblage of basement fault and salt anticline, assemblage of the basement fault-block and salt dome, assemblage of salt detachment and fault-related fold, and assemblage of basement fault-block, salt arch and up-salt imbricated thrusts. The evolution and deformation mechanisms of the salt-related structures are controlled largely by basement faulting, compressional shortening, plastic flowing and gathering, superstratum gravitation, and up-salt faulting and detaching. They are distributed in rows or belts along basement faults or fault block belts.TANG LiangJie HUANG TaiZhu QIU HaiJun QI LiXin YANG Yong XIE DaQing YU YiXin ZHAO Zhao CHEN ShuPing 2012Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,7:3
Acoustic response characteristics of unsaturated porous media显示文摘By employing the plane wave analysis method, the dispersion equations associated with compressional and shear waves using Santos’s three-phase poroelastic theory were driven. Considering the reservoir pressure, the high frequency corrections and the coupling drag of two fluids in pores, the influences of frequency and gas saturation on the phase velocities and the inverse quality factors of four body waves predicted by Santos’s theory were discussed in detail. The theoretical velocities of the fast compressional and shear waves were compared with the results of the low and high frequency experiments from open publications, respectively. The results showed that they are in good agreement in the low frequency case rather than in the high frequency case. In the latter case, several popular poroelastic models were considered and compared with the experimental data. In the models, the results of White’s theory fit the experimental data, but the parameter b in White’s model has a significant impact on the results. Under the framework of the linear viscoelasticity theory, the attenuation mechanism of Santos’s model was extended, and the comparisons between the experimental and theoretical results were also made with respect to attenuation. For the case of water saturation less than 90%, the extended model makes good predictions of the inverse quality factor of shear wave. There is a significant difference between the experimental and theoretical results for the compressional wave, but the difference can be explained by the experimental data available.ZHAO HaiBo1*, WANG XiuMing2, CHEN ShuMin1 & LI LaiLin1 1 Research Institute of Exploration and Development, Daqing OilField Co. 15The Sequence Architecture of Volcanic Basin Fillings-An Example From Xujiaweizi Faulted Depression In Songliao Basin显示文摘The basin filling geometric pattern of volcanic eruptive rocks depends on both of the eruptive locations in a basin and structural styles of fault terraces. It is divided into three types by eruptive locations and occurrences of eruptive rocks, including the pattern of eruption along fault and occurrence (PEAFO), the pattern of eruption on footwall of a fault and occurrence (PEOFO) and the pattern of eruption on hangingwall of fault and occurrence (PEOHO) in Xujiaweizi fault depression of Songliao basin, Northeast of China. Those basin filling patterns of volcanic eruptive rocks are of specific geometric characteristics controlling or affecting sedimentation, geometry of sedimentary body and sequence architecture during a sequence evolution. The study shows that the volcanic rocks developed at different stages of lowstand, transgressive and highstand can give different controls or affects on the sequence architecture.CHENG Rihui, LIU Wanzhu, SHAN Xuanlong, WANG Pujun (Faculty of Earth Sciences at Jilin University, Changchun, 130061, P.R.China) CHEN Shumin and QU Yongbao (Daqing Petroleum Bureau Prospecting and Exploration Institute, Daqing, 163712, P.R.China) 2001Global Geology2001,6,2:3
Tocilizumab in patients with moderate or severe COVID-19: a randomized, controlled, open-label, multicenter trial显示文摘Tocilizumab has been reported to attenuate the“cytokine storm”in COVID-19 patients. We attempted to verify the effectiveness and safety of tocilizumab therapy in COVID-19 and identify patients most likely to benefit from this treatment. We conducted a randomized,controlled,open-label multicenter trial among COVID-19 patients. The patients were randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to receive either tocilizumab in addition to standard care or standard care alone. The cure rate, changes of oxygen saturation and interference, and inflammation biomarkers were observed.Thirty-three patients were randomized to the tocilizumab group, and 32 patients to the control group. The cure rate in the tocilizumab group was higher than that in the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant(94.12%vs.87.10%,rate difference 95%CI−7.19%–21.23%,P=0.4133).The improvement in hypoxia for the tocilizumab group was higher from day 4 onward and statistically significant from day 12(P=0.0359).In moderate disease patients with bilateral pulmonary lesions, the hypoxia ameliorated earlier after tocilizumab treatment, and less patients(1/12,8.33%)needed an increase of inhaled oxygen concentration compared with the controls(4/6,66.67%;rate difference 95%CI−99.17%to−17.50%,P=0.0217).No severe adverse events occurred.More mild temporary adverse events were recorded in tocilizumab recipients(20/34,58.82%)than the controls(4/31,12.90%).Tocilizumab can improve hypoxia without unacceptable side effect profile and significant influences on the time virus load becomes negative. For patients with bilateral pulmonary lesions and elevated IL-6 levels, tocilizumab could be recommended to improve outcome.Dongsheng Wang Binqing Fu Zhen Peng Dongliang Yang Mingfeng Han Min Li Yun Yang Tianjun Yang Liangye Sun Wei Li Wei Shi Xin Yao Yan Ma Fei Xu Xiaojing Wang Jun Chen Daqing Xia Yubei Sun Lin Dong Jumei Wang Xiaoyu Zhu Min Zhang Yonggang Zhou Aijun Pan Xiaowen Hu Xiaodong Mei Haiming Wei Xiaoling Xu 2021Frontiers of Medicine2021,15,3:2
A transient method for measuring the gas volume fraction in a mixed gas-liquid flow using acoustic resonance spectroscopy显示文摘In this paper, the feasibility of measuring the gas volume fraction in a mixed gas-liquid flow by using an acoustic resonant spectroscopy (ARS) method in a transient way is studied theoretically and experimentally. Firstly, the effects of sizes and locations of a single air bubble in a cylindrical cavity with two open ends on resonant frequencies are investigated numerically. Then, a transient measurement system for ARS is established, and the trends of the resonant frequencies (RFs) and resonant amplitudes (RAs) in the cylindrical cavity with gas flux inside are investigated experimentally. The measurement results by the proposed transient method are compared with those by steady-state ones and numerical ones. The numerical results show that the RFs of the cavity are highly sensitive to the volume of the single air bubble. A tiny bubble volume perturbation may cause a prominent RF shift even though the volume of the air bubble is smaller than 0.1% of that of the cavity. When the small air bubble moves, the RF shift will change and reach its maximum value as it is located at the middle of the cavity. As the gas volume fraction of the two-phase flow is low, both the RFs and RAs from the measurement results decrease dramatically with the increasing gas volume, and this decreasing trend gradually becomes even as the gas volume fraction increases further. These experimental results agree with the theoretical ones qualitatively. In addition, the transient method for ARS is more suitable for measuring the gas volume fraction with randomness and instantaneity than the steady-state one, because the latter could not reflect the random and instant characteristics of the mixed fluid due to the time consumption for frequency sweeping. This study will play a very important role in the quantitative measurement of the gas volume fraction of multiphase flows.CHEN DeHua1*, WANG XiuMing1, CHE ChengXuan1, CONG JianSheng1,2, XU DeLong2 & WANG XiaoMin1 1 State Key Laboratory of Acoustics, Institute of Acoustics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing 100190, China 2 Department of Geophysics, Northeast Petroleum University, Daqing 163318, China 2010Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2010,53,8:2

Behaviour of granular matter under gravity-induced stress gradient:A two-dimensional numerical investigation显示文摘Gravity is the most important load source in mining and geotechnical engineering, which causes both the stress level and stress gradient inside geomaterials.Different from the stress level, the influence of gravity-induced stress gradient on the behaviour of the material is still unknown. An in-deep study on it will help to promote the understanding of material behaviour, especially for those cases related to unconventional gravity such as terrestrial ng physical modelling and extraterrestrial resource exploitation(g is the terrestrial gravitational acceleration). In this study,a high-order homogenization for granular materials is proposed at first,in which the stress gradient is drawn into the constitutive representation by adopting a representative volume element(RVE).The consolidation and shear strength behaviour of RVE are then investigated by performing numerical biaxial tests. The results show that all the compressibility, shear strength, shear stiffness, volumetric deformation, and critical state behaviour show a stress gradient dependence.A coupling between stress gradient, stress level, and material properties is also observed. These observations suggest that, besides the stress level, extra attention needs to be paid to material responses related to stress gradient during engineering practices.Ruilin Li Guoqing Zhou Pin-Qiang Mo Matthew R.Hall Jun Chen Daqing Chen Shangyue Cai 2021International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,3:2
