High throughput online sequential extraction of natural rare earth elements and determination by mass spectrometry显示文摘At the beginning of rare earth industry, several days are normally required for characterization of rare earth elements(REEs)fractionation in ore samples.Herein, rapid fractionation analysis of 15 REEs and accompanied metal(Fe,Mn,etc.)in ore samples has been achieved within 1 h using ICP-MS with a homemade device for online sequential solvent extraction. As a result, five fractionations for REEs occurrences,i.e.,water soluble, exchangeable, reducible, oxidizable and crystalline, have been identified, offering chemical insights which not only reveal the formation mechanism of REEs ores but also show great implications for guiding the exploitation and separation of REEs.In comparison with conventional methods, the present approach significantly shortened the analysis time(1 h vs.~80 h)and reduced the sample consumption(1.0 mg vs.5.0 g)with high recovery(>95%),providing a useful platform for the rapid quantitative fractionation analysis of REEs in complexed samples such as ore and fossils. | Jiaquan Xu Faliang Li Fei Xia Tenggao Zhu Debo Wu Konstantin Chingin Huanwen Chen | 2021 | Science China Chemistry2021,64,4: | 3
A Preliminary Review of the Metallogenic Regularity of Nickel Deposits in China显示文摘The nickel deposits mainly distributed in 19 provinces and autonomous regions in China are 339 ore deposits/occurrences, including 4 super large-scale deposits, 14 large-scale deposits, 26 middlescale deposits, 75 small-scale deposits, and 220 mineralized occurrences. The prediction types of mineral resources of nickel deposits are magmatic type, marine sedimentary type and regolith type. The formation age is from the Neoarchean to the Cenozoic with two peaks in the Neoproterozoic and the late Paleozoic. The nickel deposits formed in the Neoproterozoic are located on the margin of the North China Block and Yangtze Block, and those formed in the late Paleozoic are mainly distributed in the Central Asian Orogenic Belt(CAOB), Emeishan and the Tarim Large Igneous Provinces(LIPs). Magmatic nickel deposits are mainly related with broken-up continental margin, post-collision extension of the orogenic belt and mantle plume. According to different tectonic backgrounds and main characteristics of magmatism, the Ni-Cu-Co-PGE metallogenic series types of ore deposits related with mantle-derived mafic-ultramafic rocks can be divided into 4 subtypes:(1) the Ni-Cu-CoPGE metallogenic series subtype of ore deposits related with mantle-derived mafic-ultramafic rocks in the broken-up continental margin,(2) the Ni-Cu-Co-PGE metallogenic series subtype of ore deposits related with mantle-derived mafic-ultramafic rocks in mantle plume magmatism,(3) the Ni-Cu-CoPGE metallogenic series subtype of ore deposits related with mantle-derived mafic-ultramafic rocks in the subduction of the orogenic belt, and(4) the Ni-Cu-Co-PGE metallogenic series subtype of ore deposits related with mantle-derived mafic-ultramafic rocks in post-collision extension of the orogenic belt. We have discussed in this paper the typical characteristics and metallogenic models for Neoproterozoic Ni-Cu-(PGE) deposits related with broken-up continental margin, Cambrian marine sedimentary Ni-Mo-V deposits related with black shale, early Permian Ni-Cu deposits related with post-collision extension of the orogenic belt, late Permian Ni-Cu-(PGE) deposits related with Large Igneous Provinces(LIPs), and Cenozoic Ni-Au deposits related with regolith. The broken-up continental margin, mantle plume and post-collision extension of the orogenic belt are important oreforming geological backgrounds, and the discordogenic fault, mafic-ultramafic intrusion, high Mg O primitive magma(high-Mg O basaltic magma), deep magmatism, sulfur saturation and sulfide segregation are 6 important geological conditions for the magmatic nickel deposits. | SUN Tao WANG Denghong QIAN Zhuangzhi FU Yong CHEN Zhenghui LOU Debo | 2015 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,4: | 3
A Preliminary Review on the Metallogeny of Pb-Zn Deposits in China显示文摘Lead and zinc resources are abundant in China, with the reserves of 100 million tons ranking only second in the world. There are more than 3000 lead-zinc mine areas nationwide. The classification of lead-zinc(Pb-Zn) deposits has been a highly controversial issue. From the standpoint of evaluating the potential of mineral resources, we construct a Pb-Zn deposit predictive type of classification scheme, and propose a Pb-Zn deposit comprehensive classification scheme(including 5 classes and 13 sub-types) that regards mineralization as the primary factor and the ore rock as secondary. According to the temporal and spatial distribution of Pb-Zn deposits, we conclude that a multi-period, multi-cycle orogenic environment is the most favorable for lead-zinc deposit growth, that the Proterozoic is the major eon for the growth of igneous-type deposits, the Paleozoic is an important development era for sedimentary Pb-Zn deposits, and the Mesozoic and Cenozoic are the heyday eras of magmatic type lead-zinc deposits. On this basis, we analyse the relationship between tectonic evolution and Pb-Zn metallogenic, and propose that the key factors determining geological mineralization are the metallogenic epoch of mineralization and tectonic environment, which determine the temporal and spatial distribution. | ZHANG Changqing LIU Huan WANG Denghong CHEN Yuchuan RUI Zongyao LOU Debo WU Yue JIA Fudong CHEN Zhenghui MENG Xuyang | 2015 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,4: | 1
Molecular Characterization and Expression Analysis of Matrix Metalloproteinase 3 in the Asian Yellow Pond Turtle Mauremys mutica显示文摘Matrix metallopeptidase 3 is a zinc-containing proteinase that participates in tissue remodeling and immune responses. In this study, a cDNA encoding matrix metallopeptidase 3 was isolated and characterized from the Asian yellow pond turtle Mauremys mutica(designated as MaMMP3). The MaMMP3 cDNA is 1805 bp and consists of a 5'-untranslated region(UTR) of 56 bp, a 3'-UTR of 243 bp, and an open reading frame(ORF) of 1506 bp encoding 481 amino acids. Homology analysis of MaMMP3 revealed that the MaMMP3 shared 25%–63% similarity to other known MMP3 sequences. The genomic sequence covers 6007 bp. Comparative analysis of the cDNA sequence revealed that the Asian yellow pond turtle MMP3 has eight exons and seven introns. The phylogenetic tree showed that the MaMMP3 is closely related to Gallus gallus MMP3 and Taeniopygia guttata MMP3. The mRNA expression of the MaMMP3 in normal group without any bacterial challenge could be detected in all studied tissues including kidney, heart, live and spleen, with the highest level in the spleen. The results of immune challenge showed that the expression level of MaMMP3 was up-regulated in the spleen and liver. These results provided an important information for studying the roles of Asian yellow pond turtle MMP3 in immunity further. | Mi ZHAO Yan SHI Jian ZHAO Xinping ZHU Kunci CHEN Debo PAN Chengqing WEI | 2014 | Asian Herpetological Research2014,5,1: | 1

Geological conditions, reservoir evolution and favorable exploration directions of marine ultra-deep oil and gas in China显示文摘By analyzing the structural background, petroleum geological conditions, and typical regional(paleo) oil and gas reservoirs in marine ultra-deep oil and gas regions in China, this paper reveals the evolution processes of the marine ultra-deep oil and gas reservoirs and the key controlling factors of accumulation. The marine ultra-deep oil and gas resources in China are buried at depth of greater than 6000 m,and are mainly distributed in the Precambrian and Lower Paleozoic strata in the Sichuan,Tarim and Ordos cratonic basins. The development of marine ultra-deep source rocks in China is controlled by cratonic rifts and cratonic depressions with the background of global supercontinent breakup-convergence cycles. The source rocks in Sichuan Basin have the most developed strata, followed by Tarim Basin, and the development strata and scale of Ordos Basin needs to be further confirmed. The marine ultra-deep reservoir in China is dominated by carbonate rocks, and the reservoir performance is controlled by high-energy sedimentary environment in the early stage, superimposed corrosion and fracture in the later stage. The regional caprocks are dominated by gypsum salt rocks, shale, and tight carbonate rock. The ultra-deep oil and gas fields in China have generally experienced two stages of oil-reservoir forming, cracking(or partial cracking) of paleo-oil reservoirs, and late finalization of cracked gas(or highly mature to over mature oil and gas). The oil and gas accumulation is controlled by static and dynamic geological elements jointly.Major hydrocarbon generation center, high quality and large-scale reservoir resulted from karstification of high energy facies belt, thick gypsum rock or shale caprock, and stable trapping and preservation conditions are the key factors for accumulation of ultra-deep oil and gas.We propose three favorable exploration directions,i.e.the areas around intracratonic rift and intracratonic depression, and craton margin. | LI Jianzhong TAO Xiaowan BAI Bin HUANG Shipeng JIANG Qingchun ZHAO Zhenyu CHEN Yanyan MA Debo ZHANG Liping LI Ningxi SONG Wei | 2021 | Petroleum Exploration and Development2021,48,1: | 0
Vegetation Changes in Alberta Oil Sands,Canada,Based on Remotely Sensed Data from 1995 to 2020显示文摘There are rich oil and gas resources in Alberta oil sand mining area in Canada.Since the 1960s,the Canadian government decided to increase the mining intensity. However, the exploitation will bring many adverse effects. In recent years, more people pay attention to the environmental protection and ecological restoration of mining area, such as issues related with changes of vegetated lands. Thus, the authors used the Landsat-5 TM and Landsat-8 OLI remote sensing images as the basic data sources, and obtained the land cover classification maps from 1995 to 2020 by ENVI.Based on the NDVI,NDMI and RVI,three images in each period are processed and output to explore the long-term impact of exploitation. The results show that from 1995 to 2020,the proportion of vegetation around mining areas decreased sharply, the scale of construction land in the mining area increased, and the vegetated land was changed to land types such as tailings pond, oil sand mine and other land types. In addition, three vegetation indexes decreased from 1995 to 2020.Although the exploitation of oil sand mining area brings great economic benefits, the environmental protection(especially vegetation)in oil sand mining areas should be paid more attention. | Jinxin He Debo Chen Ye Zhan Chao Liu Ruichen Liu | 2022 | Journal of Environmental & Earth Sciences2022,4,2: | 0
