1Appraisal of Clinical Practice Guidelines for Ischemic Stroke Management in Chinese Medicine with Appraisal of Guidelines for Research and Evaluation Instrument:A Systematic Review显示文摘Objective:To systematically review the clinical practice guidelines(CPGs)for ischemic stroke in Chinese medicine(CM)with the Appraisal of Guidelines for Research and Evaluation(AGREE II)instrument.Methods:CM CPGs for ischemic stroke were searched in 5 online databases and hand-searches in CPGrelated handbooks published from January 1990 to December 2012.The CPGs were categorized into evidence based(EB)guideline,consensus based with no explicit consideration of evidence based(CB-EB)guideline and consensus based(CB)guideline according to the development method.Three reviewers independently appraised the CPGs based on AGREE II instrument,and compared the CPGs'recommendations on CM pattern classification and treatment.Results:Five CM CPGs for ischemic stroke were identified and included.Among them,one CPG was EB guideline,two were CB guidelines and two were CB-EB guidelines.The quality score of the EB guideline was higher than those of the CB-EB and CB guidelines.Five CM patterns in the CPGs were recommended in the EB CPG.The comprehensive protocol of integrative Chinese and Westem medicine recommended in the EB CPG was mostly recommended for ischemic stroke in the CPGs.The recommendations varied based on the CM patterns.Conclusion:The quality of EB CPG was higher than those of CB and CB-EB CPGs in CM for ischemic stroke and integrative approaches were included in CPGs as major interventions.宇文亚 史楠楠 韩学杰 高颖 徐建龙 刘大胜 Bacon Ng Dora Tsui 钟丽丹 Eric Ziea 卞兆祥 吕爱平 2015Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine2015,21,9:10

19Additive Technology for EU Ecolabel Formulations显示文摘Currently,Bio-lubricants are still regarded as niche products.Within the global lubricant market,however,the area of environmentally acceptable fluids represents one of the fast growing markets with an estimated annual growth of more than 6% per year.This growth is supported by various market drivers such as legal regulations,public subsidies and the implementation of national or international labeling schemes.With the implementation of the European Ecolabel for lubricants in 2005,a common standard specifying ecological and performance requirements for Bio-lubricants was defined.Applying for the EU Ecolabel requires a comprehensive assessment,not only of the final formulation,but also of the additives used.Additives are required to meet specifications for oxidation and thermal stability,as well as to impart metal protection(of both steel and yellow metals),thus improving corrosion protection and wear performance of the formulation.Therefore,it is challenging in terms of formulation technology to develop the right formulation that meets the technical specifications as well as the stringent requirements of the EU-Ecolabel.The paper describes how,by using ester base fluids and additives currently available in the market,lubricants can be developed to meet the technical and eco-toxicological requirements of the EU-Ecolabel,approaching the performance levels of lubricants formulated with traditional base fluids.Eric Nehls Tassilo Habereder Edward Ng 2009润滑油2009,24,3:0
20An overview of flavonoids from Sophora flavescens(kushen)with some emphasis on the anticancer properties of kurarinone and sophoraflavanone G显示文摘In this overview,the current knowledge of the constituents of flavonoids isolated from the roots of Sophora flavescens(kushen)is updated.Flavonoids consist of several classes,such as flavanones,flavonols,chalcones,isoflavones,biflavonoids,flavanols,and flavones.The most common compounds are kurarinone(KRN),sophoraflavanone G(SFG),2′-methoxykurarinone,kuraridine,isoxanthohumol,and formononetin.KRN and SFG are two major flavanones with more vital anticancer properties than other flavonoids.From the literature,the cytotoxic values of KRN and SFG are variable and depend on the type of cancer cells tested.The anticancer activities of these two flavonoids involve different molecular mechanisms.Clinical trials are needed before anticancer drugs from KRN and SFG can be developed.Eric Wei Chiang Chan Ying Ki Ng Hung Tuck Chan Siu Kuin Wong 2023Journal of Chinese Pharmaceutical Sciences2023,32,8:0
