1Memory materials and devices:From concept to application显示文摘Memory cells have always been an important element of information technology.With emerging technologies like big data and cloud computing,the scale and complexity of data storage has reached an unprecedented peak with a much higher requirement for memory technology.As is well known,better data storage is mostly achieved by miniaturization.However,as the size of the memory device is reduced,a series of problems,such as drain gate-induced leakage,greatly hinder the performance of memory units.To meet the increasing demands of information technology,novel and high-performance memory is urgently needed.Fortunately,emerging memory technologies are expected to improve memory performance and drive the information revolution.This review will focus on the progress of several emerging memory technologies,including two-dimensional material-based memories,resistance random access memory(RRAM),magnetic random access memory(MRAM),and phasechange random access memory(PCRAM).Advantages,mechanisms,and applications of these diverse memory technologies will be discussed in this review.Zhenhan Zhang Zongwei Wang Tuo Shi Chong Bi Feng Rao Yimao Cai Qi Liu Huaqiang Wu Peng Zhou 2020InfoMat2020,2,2:15

3Soil temperature and moisture sensitivities of soil CO_2 efflux before and after tillage in a wheat field of Loess Plateau,China显示文摘As a conventional farming practice,tillage has lasted for thousands of years in Loess Plateau,China.Although recent studies show that tillage is a prominent culprit to soil carbon loss in croplands,few studies have investigated the influences of tillage on the responses of soil CO2 efflux(SCE) to soil temperature and moisture.Using a multi-channel automated CO2 efflux chamber system,we measured SCE in situ continuously before and after the conventional tillage in a rain fed wheat field of Loess Plateau,China.The changes in soil temperature and moisture sensitivities of SCE,denoted by the Q10 value and linear regression slope respectively,were compared in the same range of soil temperature and moisture before and after the tillage.The results showed that,after the tillage,SCE increased by 1.2-2.2 times;the soil temperature sensitivity increased by 36.1%-37.5%;and the soil moisture sensitivity increased by 140%-166%.Thus,the tillage-induced increase in SCE might partially be attributed to the increases in temperature and moisture sensitivity of SCE.Hongxing Zhang Xiaoke Wang Zongwei Feng Junzhu Pang Fei Lu Zhiyun Ouyang Hua Zheng Wenzhao Liu Dafeng Hui 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,1:7
4Stability of soil organic carbon changes in successive rotations of Chinese fir(Cunninghamia lanceolata(Lamb.) Hook) plantations显示文摘The importance of soil organic carbon(SOC) under forests in the global carbon cycle depends on the stability of the soil carbon and its availability to soil microbial biomass.We investigated the effects of successive rotations of Chinese fir(Cunninghamia lanceolata(Lamb.) Hook) plantations on the stability of SOC and its availability to microbes by adopting the two-step hydrolysis with H2SO4 and density fractionation.The results showed that successive rotations of Chinese fir decreased the quantity of total SOC,recalcitrant fraction,and carbohydrates in Labile Pool I(LP Ⅰ),and microbial properties evidently,especially at 0-10 cm horizon.However,cellulose included in Labile Pool II(LP Ⅱ) and the cellulose/total carbohydrates ratio increased in successive rotations of Chinese fir.The non-cellulose of carbohydrates included in LP I maybe highly available to soil microbial biomass.Hence the availability of SOC to microbial biomass declined over the successive rotations.Although there was no significant change in recalcitrance of SOC over the successive rotations of Chinese fir,the percentage of heavy fraction to total SOC increased,suggesting that the degree of physical protection for SOC increased and SOC became more stable over the successive rotations.The degradation of SOC quality in successive rotation soils may be attributed to worse environmental conditions resulted from disturbance that related to 'slash and burn' site preparation.Being highly correlated with soil microbial properties,the cellulose/total carbohydrates ratio as an effective indicator of changes in availability of SOC to microbial biomass brought by management practices in forest soils.ZHANG Jian WANG Silong FENG Zongwei WANG Qingkui 2009Journal of Environmental Sciences2009,21,3:7
5Airborne PCDD/Fs in two e-waste recycling regions after stricter environmental regulations显示文摘Since the 2010 s, the authorities of Guangdong province and local governments have enhanced law enforcement and environmental regulations to abolish open burning, acid washing, and other uncontrolled e-waste recycling activities. In this study, ambient air and indoor dust near different kinds of e-waste recycling processes were collected in Guiyu and Qingyuan to investigate the pollution status of particles and polychlorinated dibenzo-pdioxins and furans(PCDD/Fs) after stricter environmental regulations. PM_(2.5) and PCDD/Fs both showed significantly reduced levels in the two regions compared with the documented data. The congener distribution and principal component analysis results also confirmed the significant differences between the current PCDD/Fs pollution characterizations and the historical ones. The estimated total intake doses via air inhalation and dust ingestion of children in the recycling region of Guiyu ranged from 10 to 32 pg TEQ/(kg·day), which far exceeded the tolerable daily intake(TDI) limit(1–4 pg TEQ/(kg·day). 6Underwater three-dimensional imaging using narrowband MIMO array显示文摘To obtain high cross-range resolution, the underwater 3-D acoustic imaging system usually requires a rectangular array with a great number of sensors and a large physical size. To reduce the sensor number and the array physical size simultaneously, this paper proposes a new underwater 3-D acoustic imaging approach based on a novel multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) array. Specifically, the MIMO array is composed of four uniform linear arrays (ULAs) located on four sides of a rectangle. The transmitting array composed of two ULAs is located on a pair of opposite sides, and the receiving array composed of another two ULAs is located on the other two sides. Furthermore, narrowband waveforms coded with orthogonal polyphase sequences are employed as transmitting waveforms. When the subcode numbers in the polyphase coded sequences are sufficient, the MIMO array has the same 3-D imaging ability as a rectangular array, which has a two-time bigger size than that of the former. Consequently, the MIMO array can not only save a great number of sensors, but halve the array size, when compared to a rectangular array with the same cross-range resolution. 8Phase Boundary Mapping in ZrNiSn Half-Heusler for Enhanced Thermoelectric Performance显示文摘The solubility range of interstitial Ni in the ZrNi1+xSn half-Heusler phase is a controversial issue,but it has an impact on the thermoelectric properties.In this study,two isothermal section phase diagrams of the Zr-Ni-Sn ternary system at 973K and 1173 K were experimentally constructed based on the binary phase diagrams of Zr-Ni,Zr-Sn,and Ni-Sn.The thermodynamic equilibrium phases were obtained after a long time of heating treatment on the raw alloys prepared by levitation melting.Solubilities of x<0:07 at 973 K and x<0:13 at 1173 K were clearly indicated.An intermediate-Heusler phase with a partly filled Ni void was observed,which is believed to be beneficial to the lowered lattice thermal conductivity.The highest ZT value~0:71 at 973 K was obtained for ZrNi_(1.11)Sn_(1.04).The phase boundary mapping provides an important instruction for the further optimization of ZrNiSn-based materials and other systems.Xiaofang Li Pengbo Yang Yumei Wang Zongwei Zhang Dandan Qin Wenhua Xue Chen Chen Yifang Huang Xiaodong Xie Xinyu Wang Mujin Yang Cuiping Wang Feng Cao Jiehe Sui Xingjun Liu Qian Zhang 2020Research2020,,1:2

11Wavelength-Dependent Solar N_(2) Fixation into Ammonia and Nitrate in Pure Water显示文摘Solar-driven N_(2) fixation using a photocatalyst in water presents a promising alternative to the traditional Haber-Bosch process in terms of both energy efficiency and environmental concern.At present,the product of solar N_(2) fixation is either NH_(4)^(+)or NO_(3)^(-).Few reports described the simultaneous formation of ammonia(NH_(4)^(+))and nitrate(NO_(3)^(-))by a photocatalytic reaction and the related mechanism.In this work,we report a strategy to photocatalytically fix nitrogen through simultaneous reduction and oxidation to produce NH_(4)^(+)and NO_(3)^(-)byW18O49 nanowires in pure water.The underlying mechanism of wavelength-dependent N_(2) fixation in the presence of surface defects is proposed,with an emphasis on oxygen vacancies that not only facilitate the activation and dissociation of N_(2) but also improve light absorption and the separation of the photoexcited carriers.Both NH_(4)^(+)and NO_(3)^(-)can be produced in pure water under a simulated solar light and even till the wavelength reaching 730 nm.The maximum quantum efficiency reaches 9%at 365 nm.Theoretical calculation reveals that disproportionation reaction of the N_(2) molecule is more energetically favorable than either reduction or oxidation alone.It is worth noting that the molar fraction of NH_(4)^(+)in the total product(NH_(4)^(+)plus NO_(3)^(-))shows an inverted volcano shape from 365nm to 730 nm.The increased fraction of NO_(3)^(-)from 365 nm to around 427 nm results from the competition between the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)at W sites without oxygen vacancies and the N_(2) oxidation reaction(NOR)at oxygen vacancy sites,which is driven by the intrinsically delocalized photoexcited holes.From 427nm to 730 nm,NOR is energetically restricted due to its higher equilibrium potential than that of OER,accompanied by the localized photoexcited holes on oxygen vacancies.Full disproportionation of N_(2) is achieved within a range of wavelength from~427nm to~515 nm.This work presents a rational strategy to efficiently utilize the photoexcited carriers and optimize the photocatalyst for practical nitrogen fixation.Wenju Ren Zongwei Mei Shisheng Zheng Shunning Li Yuanmin Zhu Jiaxin Zheng Yuan Lin Haibiao Chen Meng Gu Feng Pan 2020Research2020,,1:1

14Modulating proton binding energy on the tungsten carbide nanowires surfaces for boosting hydrogen evolution in acid显示文摘ungsten carbides have attracted wide attentions as Pt substitute electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), due to their good stability in an acid environment and Pt-like behaviour in hydrolysis. However, quantum chemistry calculations predict that the strong tungsten-hydrogen bonding hinders hydrogen desorption and restricts the overall catalytic activity. Synergistic modulation of host and guest electronic interaction can change the local work function of a compound, and therefore, improve its electrocatalytic activity over either of the elements individually. Herein, we develop a creative and facile solid-state approach to synthesize self-supported carbon-encapsulated single-phase WC hybrid nanowires arrays (nanoarrays) as HER catalyst. The theoretical calculations reveal that carbon encapsulation modifies the Gibbs free energy of H* values for the WC adsorption sites, endowing a more favorable C@WC active site for HER. The experimental results exhibit that the hybrid WC nanoarrays possess remarkable Pt-like catalytic behavior, with superior activity and stability in an acidic media, which can be compared to the best non-noble metal catalysts reported to date for hydrogen evolution reaction. 16High-resolution swath bathymetry using MIMO sonar system显示文摘For increasing the cross-track resolution, the multiple input multiple output(MIMO) technique is introduced into the swath bathymetry system and a new swath bathymetry approach using MIMO sonar is proposed. The MIMO sonar is composed of two parallel transmitting uniform linear arrays(ULAs) and a receiving ULA which is perpendicular to the former. The spacing between the two transmitting ULAs is equal to the product of the receiving sensor number and the receiving inter-sensor spacing. Furthermore, two narrowband linear frequency modulation(LFM) pulses,sharing the same frequency band but with opposite modulation slopes, are used as transmitting waveforms of the two transmitting ULAs. With such an array layout and transmitting signals, the MIMO sonar can sound a swath with the cross-track resolution doubling that of the traditional multibeam sonar using a Mills cross array. 19Relative sensitivities of woody plants to acid deposition in south areas of China显示文摘Relative sensitivities of 30 species of common woody plants to simulated acid rain with pH values of 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.5 and control were studied. The results showed that 6 species of these plants were sensitive to simulated acid rain. The moderate included 18 species. The resistant included 6. Relative sensitivities to ambient acid rain and air pollutants and visible injury degree of 30 species of common woody plants in Chongqing City were investigated. Results showed that 6 species with foliage lesion rate at above 10 percent were sensitive, that 6 species with no lesion were resistant and that other 18 species with lesion at 10 percent below were moderate. Other 7 cities (Guiyang, Zunyi, Duyun, Changsha, Zhuzhou, Liuzhou and Guilin City) were also investigated and results were consistent with those of Chongqing City.
