1Spatial and Temporal Distributions and Sources of Anthropogenic NMVOCs in the Atmosphere of China:A Review显示文摘As the key precursors of O_(3),anthropogenic non-methane volatile organic compounds(NMVOCs)have been studied intensively.This paper performed a meta-analysis on the spatial and temporal variations of NMVOCs,their roles in photochemical reactions,and their sources in China,based on published research.The results showed that both nonmethane hydrocarbons(NMHCs)and oxygenated VOCs(OVOCs)in China have higher mixing ratios in the eastern developed cities compared to those in the central and western areas.Alkanes are the most abundant NMHCs species in all reported sites while formaldehyde is the most abundant among the OVOCs.OVOCs have the highest mixing ratios in summer and the lowest in winter,which is opposite to NMHCs.Among all NMVOCs,the top eight species account for 50%−70%of the total ozone formation potential(OFP)with different compositions and contributions in different areas.In devolved regions,OFP-NMHCs are the highest in winter while OFP-OVOCs are the highest in summer.Based on positive matrix factorization(PMF)analysis,vehicle exhaust,industrial emissions,and solvent usage in China are the main sources for NMHCs.However,the emission trend analysis showed that solvent usage and industrial emissions will exceed vehicle exhaust and become the two major sources of NMVOCs in near future.Based on the meta-analysis conducted in this work,we believe that the spatio-temporal variations and oxidation mechanisms of atmospheric OVOCs,as well as generating a higher spatial resolution of emission inventories of NMVOCs represent an area for future studies on NMVOCs in China.Fanglin WANG Wei DU Shaojun LV Zhijian DING Gehui WANG 2021Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2021,38,7:4
2Yielding behavior of triplex medium Mn steel alternated with cooling strategies altering martensite/ferrite interfacial feature显示文摘In this paper, we report the influence of cooling processes on the yielding behavior of a medium Mn steel(MMS) with triplex microstructure, i.e. austenite(γ), ferrite(α) and as-quenched martensite(α’). After the intercritical annealing(IA) at both 725℃ and 750℃, the steel was subjected to the two cooling processes, i.e. air cooling(AC) and water quenching(WQ). It exhibits the discontinuous yielding after the AC following the IA at 750℃ while the continuous yielding after the WQ. Compared with WQ process,both the dilatometry and the microstructural examinations show that the AC process leads to lower Ms temperature, larger retained austenite(RA) fraction and less martensite, the latter is always companied with geometry necessary dislocations(GNDs) generated near the α/α’ interfaces. Considering the complexity of nanosized tri-phases in this steel, the presence of martensite with key features in the resultant specimens was systematically examined by atom probe tomography(APT) on the samples prepared by the specific target lift-out method. The APT results directly revealed the C/Mn co-segregation at the α’/αinterfaces in the AC samples but not in WQ samples. The numerical simulation results further suggest that the segregation of C and Mn at the α’/α interfaces may be due to different mechanisms. We conclude that the yielding of triplex MMS is determined by both the quantity of GNDs generated near theα/α’ interfaces, which increases with martensite fraction, and the extent of their immobilization resulting from the interfacial segregation of solute atoms when the presence of martensite is sufficient. 3The Association Between H3K4me3 and Antisense Transcription显示文摘Histone H3 lysine 4 trimethylation(H3K4me3) is well known to occur in the promoter region of genes for transcription activation.However,when investigating the H3K4me3 profiles in the mouse cerebrum and testis,we discovered that H3K4me3 also has a significant enrichment at the 3 0 end of actively transcribed(sense) genes,named as 3 0-H3K4me3.3 0-H3K4me3 is associated with 15% of protein-coding genes in both tissues.In addition,we examined the transcriptional initiation signals including RNA polymerase II(RNAPII) binding sites and 5 0-CAGE-tag that marks transcriptional start sites.Interestingly,we found that 3 0-H3K4me3 is associated with the initiation of antisense transcription.Furthermore,3 0-H3K4me3 modification levels correlate positively with the antisense expression levels of the associated sense genes,implying that 3 0-H3K4me3 is involved in the activation of antisense transcription.Taken together,our findings suggest that H3K4me3 may be involved in the regulation of antisense transcription that initiates from the 3 0 end of sense genes.In addition,a positive correlation was also observed between the expression of antisense and the associated sense genes with 3 0-H3K4me3 modification.More importantly,we observed the 3 0-H3K4me3 enrichment among genes in human,fruitfly and Arabidopsis,and found that the sequences of 3 0-H3K4me3-marked regions are highly conserved and essentially indistinguishable from known promoters in vertebrate.Therefore,we speculate that these 3 0-H3K4me3-marked regions may serve as potential promoters for antisense transcription and 3 0-H3K4me3 appear to be a universal epigenetic feature in eukaryotes.Our results provide a novel insight into the epigenetic roles of H3K4me3 and the regulatory mechanism of antisense transcription.Peng Cui Wanfei Liu Yuhui Zhao Qiang Lin Feng Ding Chengqi Xin Jianing Geng Shuhui Song Fanglin Sun Songnian Hu Jun Yu 2012Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2012,10,2:1
4Comparative Analyses of H3K4 and H3K27 Trimethylations Between the Mouse Cerebrum and Testis显示文摘The global features of H3K4 and H3K27 trimethylations(H3K4me3 and H3K27me3) have been well studied in recent years,but most of these studies were performed in mammalian cell lines.In this work,we generated the genome-wide maps of H3K4me3 and H3K27me3 of mouse cerebrum and testis using ChIP-seq and their high-coverage transcriptomes using ribominus RNA-seq with SOLiD technology.We examined the global patterns of H3K4me3 and H3K27me3 in both tissues and found that modifications are closely-associated with tissue-specific expression,function and development.Moreover,we revealed that H3K4me3 and H3K27me3 rarely occur in silent genes,which contradicts the findings in previous studies.Finally,we observed that bivalent domains,with both H3K4me3 and H3K27me3,existed ubiquitously in both tissues and demonstrated an invariable preference for the regulation of developmentally-related genes.However,the bivalent domains tend towards a 'winner-takes-all' approach to regulate the expression of associated genes.We also verified the above results in mouse ES cells.As expected,the results in ES cells are consistent with those in cerebrum and testis.In conclusion,we present two very important findings.One is that H3K4me3 and H3K27me3 rarely occur in silent genes.The other is that bivalent domains may adopt a 'winner-takes-all' principle to regulate gene expression.Peng Cui Wanfei Liu Yuhui Zhao Qiang Lin Daoyong Zhang Feng Ding Chengqi Xin Zhang Zhang Shuhui Song Fanglin Sun Jun Yu Songnian Hu 2012Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2012,10,2:1

6Improved cell performance and sulphur tolerance using A-site substituted Sr_(2)Fe_(1.4)Ni_(0.1)Mo_(0.5)O_(6-δ)anodes for solid-oxide fuel cells显示文摘Solid-oxide fuel cells(SOFCs)offer great promise for producing electricity using a wide variety of fuels such as natural gas,coal gas and gasified carbonaceous solids;however,conventional nickel-based anodes face great challenges due to contaminants in readily available fuels,especially sulphur-containing compounds.Thus,the development of new anode materials that can suppress sulphur poisoning is crucial to the realization of fuel-flexible and cost-effective SOFCs.In this work,La_(0.1)Sr_(1.9)Fe_(1.4)Ni_(0.1)Mo_(0.5)O_(6-δ)(LSFNM)and Pr_(0.1)Sr_(1.9)Fe_(1.4)Ni_(0.1)Mo_(0.5)O_(6-δ)(PSFNM)materials have been synthesized using a sol-gel method in air and investigated as anode mater-ials for SOFCs.Metallic nanoparticle-decorated ceramic anodes were obtained by the reduction of LSFNM and PSFNM in H_(2)at 850℃,forming a Ruddlesden-Popper oxide with exsolved FeNi3 bimetallic nanoparticles.The electrochemical performance of the Sr_(2)Fe_(1.4)Ni_(0.1)Mo_(0.5)O_(6-δ)ceramic anode was greatly enhanced by La doping of A-sites,resulting in a 44%decrease in the polarization resistance in reducing atmosphere.The maximum power densities of Sr-and Mg-doped LaGaO_(3)(LSGM)(300μm)electrolyte-supported single cells with LSFNM as the anode reached 1.371 W cm^(-2)in H_(2)and 1.306 W cm^(-2)in 50 ppm H_(2)S-H_(2)at 850℃.Meanwhile,PSFNM showed improved sulphur tolerance,which could be fully recovered after six cycles from H_(2)to 50 ppm H_(2)S-H_(2)operation.This study indicates that LSFNM and PSFNM are promising high-performance anodes for SOFCs.Haixia Li Wanhua Wang Jie Lin Ka-Young Park Taehee Lee Andreas Heyden Dong Ding Fanglin Chen 2023Clean Energy2023,7,1:0
