| 1 | Effects of Y_2O_3 on the microstructure and wear resistance of cobalt-based alloy coatings deposited by plasma transferred arc process显示文摘Cobalt-based alloys with different Y2O3 contents were deposited on Q235A-carbon steel using plasma transferred arc (PTA) welding machine. The effect of Y2O3 on the microstructure and wear resistance properties of the cobalt-based alloys were investigated using an optical microscope, a scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). It was found that a cobalt-based solid solution with a face-centered cubic crystal structure was presented accompanied by the secondary phase M7C3 with a hexagonal crystal structure in the Y2O3-free cobalt-based alloy coating. Several stacking faults exist in the cobalt-based solid solution. The addition of Y2O3 leads to the existence of the Y2O3 phase in the Y2O3-modified coatings. Though stacking fault exists in the Y2O3-modified coatings, its density increases. The addition of Y2O3 can refine the microstructure and can increase the wear resistance properties when its contents are less than or equal to 0.8 wt.%. | 2 | Instability characteristics of the East Asian Monsoon recorded by high-resolution loess sections from the last interglacial (MIS5)显示文摘The selection of high-resolution loess sections is needed in order to determine the climatic variability of the East Asian Monsoon during the last interglacial. Two sequences of S1 on the eastern and west-ern sides of the Liupan Mountain were both composed of five paleosol layers and four loess layers,indicating that there were five strong summer monsoon events and four strong winter monsoon events in MIS5. This corresponds with other records of the East Asian Monsoon,along with NGRIP and the North Atlantic records,implying that the climate of the Northern Hemisphere was very instable during the last interglacial. Two layers of paleosols and one layer of loess had developed during MIS5a and MIS5c. | 3 | Current oscillations during the electrochemical oxidation of sulfide in the presence of an external resistor显示文摘The electrochemical oxidation of sulfide on a polycrystalline platinum electrode was studied under potentiostatic condition when an external resistor is in series with the working electrode. Only two os- cillatory regions can be obtained in the absence of the external resistance, but four oscillatory regions, including two new current oscillations, were found in this system by controlling the external resistance. It is demonstrated that three oscillatory regimes, which arise on the positive branch of current-potential curve, can be classified as HN-NDR (Hidden N-shaped Negative Differential Resistance) oscillators. For the first oscillatory region, various transient complex phenomena, which result from the change of the electrode/electrolyte interface by accumulation of adsorbed element sulfur on the electrode, have been observed. The dynamic behavior of NDR (Negative Differential Resistance) oscillations, appearing along with negative branch of polarization curve, can transform from oscillations into bistability with a sufficient large external resistance in series. Two oscillatory regions in high-potential region classified as HN-NDR type oscillations are separated by a saddle-loop bifurcation. They displayed a sequence of bursting oscillations and irregular oscillations, respectively. | 4 | From similarity perspective: a robust collaborative filtering approach for service recommendations显示文摘Collaborative filtering (CF) is a technique commonly used for personalized recommendation and Web service quality-of-service (QoS) prediction. However, CF is vulnerable to shilling attackers who inject fake user profiles into the system. In this paper, we first present the shilling attack problem on CF-based QoS recommender systems for Web services. Then, a robust CF recommendation approach is proposed from a user similarity perspective to enhance the resistance of the recommender systems to the shilling attack. In the approach, the generally used similarity measures are analyzed, and the DegSim (the degree of similarities with top k neighbors) with those measures is selected for grouping and weighting the users. Then, the weights are used to calculate the service similarities/differences and predictions. We analyzed and evaluated our algorithms using WS-DREAM and Movielens datasets. | 5 | Measurement of hydrogen peroxide and organic hydroperoxide concentrations during autumn in Beijing, China显示文摘Gaseous peroxides play important roles in atmospheric chemistry. To understand the pathways of the formation and removal of peroxides, atmospheric peroxide concentrations and their controlling factors were measured from 7:00 to 20:00 in September, October, and November 2013 at a heavily trafficked residential site in Beijing, China, with average concentrations of hydrogen peroxide(H_2O_2) and methyl hydroperoxide(MHP) at 0.55 ppb and 0.063 ppb, respectively. H_2O_2 concentrations were higher in the afternoon and lower in the morning and evening, while MHP concentrations did not exhibit a regular diurnal pattern. Both H_2O_2 and MHP concentrations increased at dusk in most cases. Both peroxides displayed monthly variations with higher concentrations in September. These results suggested that photochemical activity was the main controlling factor on variations of H_2O_2 concentrations during the measurement period. Increasing concentrations of volatile organic compounds emitted by motor vehicles were important contributors to H_2O_2 and MHP enrichment. | 14 | The protective effect of icariin on glucocorticoid-damaged BMECs explored by microfluidic organ chip显示文摘Osteonecrosis of the femoral head(ONFH)is a devastating musculoskeletal disease characterized by the impaired circulation of bone.The purpose of this study was to explore the underlying mechanisms of the protective effect of icariin on the glucocorticoid-induced injury of bone microvascular endothelial cells(BMECs).Normal BMECs were extracted from the femoral heads by enzymatic isolation and magneticactivated cell sorting methods.Dexamethasone and icariin were used to intervene BMECs in microfluidic organ chips,and phalloidin staining was conducted to observe the cell morphology and viability.Then next-generation transcriptome sequencing and real-time quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(q RT-PCR)were performed to identify the differentially expressed genes(DEGs)in different groups.Through the microfluidic organ chip,it can be observed that after dexamethasone intervention,the filamentous structure in cell fibers disappeared and the cell morphology changed from spindle to round until death.Icariin could relieve these changes and showed a protective effect on glucocorticoiddamaged BMECs.In addition,201 DEGs were detected between the icariin protection group and the dexamethasone group,which were significantly enriched in 17 signaling pathways.8 of the top ten selected hub genes(IL6,PTGS2,VEGFA,etc.)were confirmed by q RT-PCR.Transcription factors(TFs)-gene network showed 63 connections between 18 TFs and 12 DEGs.For instance,GATA2 could regulate 5 DEGs.The associations between 92 mi RNA and 12 DEGs were visualized in a mi RNA-gene network.The hub mi RNA,has-mir-335–5 p was predicted to interact with 8 DEGs(PTGS2,VEGFA,etc.).Microfluidic organ chips could provide excellent morphological results for cell experiments,by which it could be observed that icariin showed a protective effect on the glucocorticoid-induced injury of BMECs.Beside,these DEGs,possible regulatory TF(GATA2,FOXC1,etc.)and mi RNA(has-mir-335–5 p)might be dysregulated in the initiation of ONFH and have prospective importance in ONFH diagnosis and therapy. | Tengqi Li Qingyu Zhang Fuqiang Gao Yadi Liu Wei Sun Yiyang Dong | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,6: | 1 |

| 17 | Phytate-Coordination Triggered Enrichment of Surface NiOOH Species on Nickel Foam for Efficient Urea Electrooxidation显示文摘Nickel(Ni)-based materials are promising electrocatalysts for the urea electrooxidation reaction, as the in situ formed NiOOH species on their surface during operation are catalytically active sites. In this work, phytate-coordinated Ni foam(PA-NF)is shown to deliver a high catalytic performance, with a potential as low as 1.38 V at 10m A/cm2, a Tafel slope as low as 64.1 mV/dec, and superior catalytic stability.
