1Thermodynamic modeling and phase diagram prediction of salt lake brine systems.Ⅰ. Aqueous Mg^2+–Ca^2+–Cl^- binary and ternary systems显示文摘Salt lake brine is a complex salt-water system under natural environment.Although many models can express the thermodynamic properties and phase equilibrium of electrolyte aqueous solution,the multi-temperature characteristics and predictability are still the goals of model development.In this study,a comprehensive thermodynamic model system is re-established based on the eNRTL model and some improvements:(1) new expression of long-range electrostatic term with symmetrical reference state is proposed to handle the electrolyte solution covering entire concentration range;(2) the temperature dependence of the binary interaction parameters is formulated with a Gibbs Helmholtz expression containing three temperature coefficients,the liquid parameters,which associated with Gibbs energy,enthalpy,and heat capacity contribution;and(3) liquid parameters and solid species data are regressed from properties and solubility data at full temperature range.Together the activity coefficient model,property models and parameters of liquid and solid offer a comprehensive thermodynamic model system for the typical bittern of MgCl2-CaCl2-H2 O binary and ternary systems,and it shows excellent agreement with the literature data for the ternary and binary systems.The successful prediction of complete phase diagram of ternary system shows that the model has the ability to deal with high concentration and high non-idealitv system,and the ability to extrapolate the temperature.Huan Zhou Xiaolong Gu Yaping Dai Jingjing Tang Jian Guo Guangbi Li Xiaoqin Bai 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,9:9
2Integrated system of comprehensive utilizing the concentrated brine of Yuncheng salt-lake basing on salt-forming diagram显示文摘The comprehensive utilization and environment-friendliness of processes for recovering fresh water or valuable salt from seawater, salt-lakes, or mineral deposits are of utmost importance for sustainable development.One primitive sustainable process for recovering salt from sodium-sulfate-type brine in Yuncheng salt lake had been considered one of the greatest inventions of ancient China, however, the replaced process of mass extraction of single Na_2SO_4 in recent years, has reduced a large amount of residual brine.In this research, relying on the salt-forming diagram in the non-equilibrium state, the technical secrets of ancient salt processes were uncovered, and a new comprehensive utilization system was proposed and tested experimentally.The new system includes a vacuum salt-making process and a normal pressure kieserite process, which can gradually eliminate the existed waste liquid and aid in the sustainable development of the Yuncheng salt-lake.The continuous experiment of salt-making process running stably in the double salt region without double salt formation, which proves the feasibility of salt-forming diagram applied in industrial process.Thus salt-forming diagram would be extremely valuable to industry process design and control, especially, the treatment of concentrated brine.Huan Zhou Jingjing Tang Jian Guo Yaping Dai Guangbi Li Bo Yan 2019Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2019,27,1:2

14Neuropeptide Y and nestin expression in the hippocampal CA3 region following restrained and inverted stress in rats显示文摘Our preliminary study demonstrated that neuropeptide Y(NPY)/nestin-positive cells exhibit a consistent spatial distribution in the hippocampus of normal adult rats.However,following severe acute and chronic stress-induced impaired learning and memory,synchronous decreased expression of nestin and NPY takes place in the hippocampus,and the underlying mechanisms remain unclear.In the present study,acute and chronic stress rat models were established using combined restrained and inverted stress.Results showed that learning and memory significantly decreased in acute and chronic stress rats.In addition,hippocampal cells were damaged,in particular in the acute stress rats,and nestin and NPY expression,as well as the number of NPY/nestin-positive cells in the CA3 region,significantly decreased.Furthermore,mature neurofilament 200-positive neurons were absent in the chronic stress rats.The NPY and cytoskeletal protein system equally contributed to stress-induced early learning and memory deficits,as well as sustained cerebral injury in the adult hippocampus.Sun, Guogang Chen, Bo Fan, Guangbi Xiao, Hongwen Chen, Yue Xu, Jie Nie, Ye Zhang, Bing Gong, Lin Li, Ailing 2011Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,3:1
15Study of perturbing method in regional BGM ensemble prediction system显示文摘Based on an Ensemble Prediction System with the BGM method on the regional numerical prediction model AREM,Static State Perturbation(SSP,including Initial Random Perturbation and Perturbation Restriction) and Dynamic State Perturbation(DSP) are designed.The impacts of both perturbations on precipitation prediction are studied by analyzing a strong precipitation process occurring during July 20-21,2008.The results show that both SSP and DSP play a positive role in prediction of mesoscale precipitation,such as lowering the(missing) rate of precipitation prediction.SSP is mainly helpful for the 24-hour prediction,while DSP can improve both 24-hour and 48-hour prediction.DSP is better than the two SSPs in the hit rate of regional precipitation prediction.However,the former also has a little higher false alarm rate than the latter.DSP enlarges in some extent the dispersion of EPS,which is good for EPS.YuHua Xiao GuangBi He Jing Chen Guo Deng 2012Research in Cold and Arid Regions2012,4,1:0

17A Review of the Past Century in the Context of the Past Millennium: Science & Society in China and the West显示文摘In order to understand the significance and future of science, we must make clear the interaction between science and society. Although a consensus on this has reached among scholars and even the public, an explicit analytical framework for related studies on science and society is so far unavailable.In light of the outlook of cultural evolutionism, this article puts forward an analytic framework, on which an analysis on the Chinese science in the 20th century is made based on the discussion of science in China and the West. The principal conclusion obtained from the discussion is: Without a system of modern democracy, it is impossible to make science prosper and without a modern market system, technological progress is out of the question.
