1Effect of Li+ ion concentration on upconversion emission and temperature sensing behavior of La2O3:Er3+ phosphors显示文摘The effects of Li^+ co-doping concentration on the structure, upconversion luminescence and temperature sensing behavior of Er^(3+):La_2O_3 phosphors were investigated. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy observations reveal that Li^+ ion co-doping can change the lattice parameter of La_2O_3 host and increase the particle size of the samples. The optical investigation shows that co-doping of Li^+ ions can enhance the upconversion emission of Er^(3+) ions in La_2O_3 matrix effectively. Most importantly, the temperature sensing sensitivity of the samples is found to be dependent on Li^+ co-doping concentration,when the emission intensity ratio of the(~2H_(11/2)→~4 I_(15/2)) and(~4 S_(3/2)→~4 I_(15/2)) transitions of Er^(3+) is chosen as the thermometric index. Both of the optimum upconversion luminescence and temperature sensing sensitivity are obtained for 7 mol% Li^+ co-doped sample. When the Li^+ concentration is beyond 7 mol%,both the quenching in upconversion intensity and the degradation of temperature sensitivity are observed, which may be due to the serious distortion in local crystal field around Er^(3+) ions caused by the excess Li^+ ions.Guangrun Chen Ruoshan Lei Shiqing Xu Huanping Wang Shilong Zhao Feifei Huang Yin Tian 2018Journal of Rare Earths2018,36,2:4
2Optimization of protoplast isolation,transformation and its application in sugarcane (Saccharum spontaneum L.)显示文摘Sugarcane is a prominent source of sugar and ethanol production.Genetic analysis for trait improvement of sugarcane is greatly hindered by its complex genome,long breeding cycle,and recalcitrance to genetic transformation.The protoplast-based transient transformation system is a versatile and convenient tool for in vivo functional gene analysis;however,quick and effective transformation systems are still lacking for sugarcane.Here,we developed an efficient protoplast-based transformation system by optimizing conditions of protoplasts isolation and PEG-mediated transformation in S.spontaneum.The yield of viable protoplasts was approximately 1.26×107 per gram of leaf material,and the transformation efficiency of 80.19%could be achieved under the optimized condition.Furthermore,using this approach,the nuclear localization of an ABI5-like bZIPs transcription factor was validated,and the promoter activity of several putative DNase I hypersensitive sites(DHSs)was assessed.The results indicated this system can be conveniently applied to protein subcellular localization and promoter activity assays.A highly efficient S.spontaneum mesophyll cell protoplast isolation and transient transformation method was developed,and it shall be suitable for in vivo functional gene analysis in sugarcane.Qiongli Wang Guangrun Yu Zhiyong Chen Jinlei Han Yufang Hu Kai Wang 2021The Crop Journal2021,9,1:1
