| 1 | Chance-constrained Coordinated Optimization for Urban Electricity and Heat Networks显示文摘Urban electricity and heat networks(UEHN)consist of the coupling and interactions between electric power systems and district heating systems,in which the geographical and functional features of integrated energy systems are demonstrated.UEHN have been expected to provide an effective way to accommodate the intermittent and unpredictable renewable energy sources,in which the application of stochastic optimization approaches to UEHN analysis is highly desired.In this paper,we propose a chance-constrained coordinated optimization approach for UEHN considering the uncertainties in electricity loads,heat loads,and photovoltaic outputs,as well as the correlations between these uncertain sources.A solution strategy,which combines the Latin Hypercube Sampling Monte Carlo Simulation(LHSMCS)approach and a heuristic algorithm,is specifically designed to deal with the proposed chance-constrained coordinated optimization.Finally,test results on an UEHN comprised of a modified IEEE 33-bus system and a 32-node district heating system at Barry Island have verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed framework. | Zhinong Wei Juan Sun Zhoujun Ma Guoqiang Sun Haixiang Zang Sheng Chen Side Zhang Kwok W.Cheung | 2018 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2018,4,4: | 6 |
| 2 | Geochronology and Hf Isotope Study of Pegmatite in the Xiaoqinling Area of NW China: Implication for Petrogenesis and Regional Metamorphism显示文摘In this study, we carried out petrography, zircon U-Pb geochronology and Hf isotopic analyses on a granitic pegmatite dyke in the Xiaoqinling area in southern margin of the North China Craton(NCC). Our study suggests that the pegmatite dyke likely crystallized from a volatile-rich pegmatitic magma. Different from most other pegmatite elsewhere, zircon from this pegmatite dyke does not contain unusually high U and Th concentrations and suffered no evident radioactive damage, therefore we successfully obtained a zircon U-Pb dating using laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry(LA-ICP-MS), which yields an average 207Pb/206 Pb age of 1 814±6 Ma, representing the intrusive age of the granitic pegmatite dyke. Zircon εHf(t) values are between-8.3 and-3.0, corresponding to Hf depleted mantle model ages from 2 649 to 2 991 Ma with an average of 2 881 Ma. These data indicate that this granitic pegmatite dyke may have been derived from partial melting of Meso-Neoarchean metamorphic rocks from the Xiaoqinling basement. Granitic pegmatite magma may have emplaced within the Taihua Group wall rocks during the last stage of the middle to high grade metamorphism. Furthermore, according to the petrographic observation, the 1.81 Ga pegmatite dyke and the 1 800–1 750 Ma Xiong'er Group rocks were not undergone middle to high grade metamorphism, indicating 1.81 Ga as the termination of the latest regional metamorphism in the southern margin of the NCC. | Haixiang Zhao Shaoyong Jiang Baozhang Dai Liang Ma Jianwei Li | 2015 | Journal of Earth Science2015,26,3: | 5 |
| 3 | Apoptotic extracellular vesicles are metabolized regulators nurturing the skin and hair显示文摘Over 300 billion of cells die every day in the human body,producing a large number of endogenous apoptotic extracellular vesicles(apoEVs).Also,allogenic stem cell transplantation,a commonly used therapeutic approach in current clinical practice,generates exogenous apoEVs.It is well known that phagocytic cells engulf and digest apoEVs to maintain the body’s homeostasis.In this study,we show that a fraction of exogenous apoEVs is metabolized in the integumentary skin and hair follicles.Mechanistically,apoEVs activate the Wnt/β-catenin pathway to facilitate their metabolism in a wave-like pattern.The migration of apoEVs is enhanced by treadmill exercise and inhibited by tail suspension,which is associated with the mechanical force-regulated expression of DKK1 in circulation.Furthermore,we show that exogenous apoEVs promote wound healing and hair growth via activation of Wnt/β-catenin pathway in skin and hair follicle mesenchymal stem cells.This study reveals a previously unrecognized metabolic pathway of apoEVs and opens a new avenue for exploring apoEV-based therapy for skin and hair disorders. | Lan Ma Chider Chen Dawei Liu Zhiqing Huang Jiaqi Li Haixiang Liu Ryan Tsz Kin Kwok Benzhong Tang Bingdong Sui Xiao Zhang Jianxia Tang Xueli Mao Weiying Huang Songtao Shi Xiaoxing Kou | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,1: | 3 |
| 4 | Single-particle trapping and dynamic manipulation with holographic optical surface-wave tweezers显示文摘Optical surface waves have widely been used in optical tweezers systems for trapping particles sized from the nanoto microscale,with specific importance and needs in applications of super-resolved detection and imaging if a single particle can be trapped and manipulated accurately.However,it is difficult to achieve such trapping with high precision in conventional optical surface-wave tweezers.Here,we propose and experimentally demonstrate a new method to accurately trap and dynamically manipulate a single particle or a desired number of particles in holographic optical surface-wave tweezers.By tailoring the optical potential wells formed by surface waves,we achieved trapping of the targeted single particle while pushing away all surrounding particles and further dynamically controlling the particle by a holographic tweezers beam.We also prove that different particle samples,including gold particles and biological cells,can be applied in our system.This method can be used for different-type optical surface-wave tweezers,with significant potential applications in single-particle spectroscopy,particle sorting,nano-assembly,and others. | XI XIE XIANYOU WANG CHANGJUN MIN HAIXIANG MA YUNQI YUAN ZHANGYU ZHOU YUQUAN ZHANG JING BU XIAOCONG YUAN | 2022 | Photonics Research2022,10,1: | 3 |

| 8 | The mRNA–miRNA–lncRNA Regulatory Network and Factors Associated with Prognosis Prediction of Hepatocellular Carcinoma显示文摘The aim of this study was to identify novel prognostic mRNA and microRNA(miRNA)biomarkers for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)using methods in systems biology.Differentially expressed mRNAs,miRNAs,and long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)were compared between HCC tumor tissues and normal liver tissues in The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)database.Subsequently,a prognosis-associated mRNA co-expression network,an mRNA–miRNA reg-ulatory network,and an mRNA–miRNA–lncRNA regulatory network were constructed to identify prognostic biomarkers for HCC through Cox survival analysis.Seven prognosis-associated mRNA co-expression modules were obtained by analyzing these differentially expressed mRNAs.An expression module including 120 mRNAs was significantly corre-lated with HCC patient survival.Combined with patient survival data,several mRNAs and miRNAs,including CHST4,SLC22A8,STC2,hsa-miR-326,and hsa-miR-21 were identified from the network to predict HCC patient prognosis.Clinical significance was investigated using tissue microarray analysis of samples from 258 patients with HCC.Functional annotation of hsa-miR-326 and hsa-miR-21-5p indicated specific associations with several cancer-related pathways.The present study provides a bioinformatics method for biomarker screening,leading to the identification of an integrated mRNA–miRNA–lncRNA regulatory network and their co-expression patterns in relation to predicting HCC patient survival. | Bo Hu Xiaolu Ma Peiyao Fu Qiman Sun Weiguo Tang Haixiang Sun Zhangfu Yang Mincheng Yu Jian Zhou Jia Fan Yang Xu | 2021 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2021,19,6: | 0 |
