2An improved imaging algorithm for fixed-receiver bistatic SAR显示文摘Based on the signal model of fixed-receiver bistatic SAR, this paper analyzes the characteristics of azimuth-variant, which includes variation of range migration curve and variation of Doppler rate caused by different azimuth position of targets. Then, an extended nonlinear chirp scaling (NLCS) algorithm is proposed, with its flowchart and phase compensation functions being provided. 3VisComposer: A Visual Programmable Composition Environment for Information Visualization显示文摘As the amount of data being collected has increased,the need for tools that can enable the visual exploration of data has also grown.This has led to the development of a variety of widely used programming frameworks for information visualization.Unfortunately,such frameworks demand comprehensive visualization and coding skills and require users to develop visualization from scratch.An alternative is to create interactive visualization design environments that require lttle to no programming.However,these tools only supports a small portion of visual formns.We present a programmable integrated development environment(IDE),VisComposer,that supports the development of expressive visualization using a drag and-drop visual interface.Vis-Composer exposes the programmability by customizing desired components within a modular-ized visualization composition pipeline,effectively balancing the capability gap between expert coders and visualization artists.The implemented system empowers users to compose compre-bensive visualizations with real-time preview and optimization features,and supports prototyp-ing,sharing and reuse of the effects by means of an intuitive visual composer.Visual program-ming and textual programming integrated in our system allow users to compose more complex visual effects while retaining the simplicity of use.We demonstrate the performance of VisCom-poser with a variety of examples and an informal user evaluation.Honghui Mei Wei Chen Yuxin Ma Huihua Guan Wanqi Hu 2018Visual Informatics2018,2,1:4
4Role of VEGF in the growth and metastasis of a murine bladder carcinoma显示文摘Bladder transitional cell carcinoma is the most common form of carcinoma in the urinary system. Although overexpression of VEGF has been identified in tissue, serum, and urine of patients with bladder cancer, the role of VEGF in transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder has not beenclearly elucidated. Here, we dissected the effect of VEGFduring bladder tumor growth and progression by modifying a BBN (N-butyl-N-(4-hydroxybutyl) nitrosamine) induced mouse bladder transitional cell carcinoma cell lineBTT-T739 by stable transfection of antisense VEGF121 cDNA. The transfection resulted in more than 80% reduction inVEGF production. The growth of the transduced tumor cells in vitro was not affected, however, these cells formed small or no tumors in vivo. Even in the tumors formed, there were mini- mal vascularization, extensive necrosis and longerlatency compared to those formed by parental cells. Thepermeability of tumor vasculature and metastatic tumor growth were also significantly suppressed in antisense VEGFcDNA trans- fected cells. In addition, the transfer ofanti-angiogenic gene in a combination of sFlk-1 and ExTekwith electroporation can suppress the tumor growthefficiently. 5Effect of Huatan Jieyu granules in treatment of Parkinson’s disease patients with sleep disorder identified as symptom pattern of phlegma-heat-stirring wind显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the safety and efficacy of Huatan Jieyu granules in treatment of Parkinson’s disease(PD) patients with sleep disorder identified as symptom pattern of phlegma-heat-stirring wind in terms of the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine.METHODS: In total, 107 Parkinson’s disease patients with sleep disorders identified as symptom pattern of phlegma-heat-stirring wind were selected and randomly divided into the experimental group(55 cases) and the control group(52 cases).Both groups were given basic treatment with prednisone. The experimental group of patients was treated with Huatan Jieyu granules and the control group of patents was treated with only the basic treatment. Treatment lasted for 4 weeks. 6Angular momentum holography via a minimalist metasurface for optical nested encryption显示文摘Metasurfaces can perform high-performance multi-functional integration by manipulating the abundant physical dimensions of light,demonstrating great potential in high-capacity information technologies.The orbital angular momentum(OAM)and spin angular momentum(SAM)dimensions have been respectively explored as the independent carrier for information multiplexing.However,fully managing these two intrinsic properties in information multiplexing remains elusive.Here,we propose the concept of angular momentum(AM)holography which can fully synergize these two fundamental dimensions to act as the information carrier,via a single-layer,non-interleaved metasurface.The underlying mechanism relies on independently controlling the two spin eigenstates and arbitrary overlaying them in each operation channel,thereby spatially modulating the resulting waveform at will.As a proof of concept,we demonstrate an AM meta-hologram allowing the reconstruction of two sets of holographic images,i.e.,the spin-orbital locked and the spin-superimposed ones.Remarkably,leveraging the designed dual-functional AM meta-hologram,we demonstrate a novel optical nested encryption scheme,which is able to achieve parallel information transmission with ultra-high capacity and security.Our work opens a new avenue for optionally manipulating the AM,holding promising applications in the fields of optical communication,information security and quantum science.Hui Yang Peng He Kai Ou Yueqiang Hu Yuting Jiang Xiangnian Ou Honghui Jia Zhenwei Xie Xiaocong Yuan Huigao Duan 2023Light(Science & Applications)2023,12,4:1

9Numerical investigation on detonation cell evolution in a channel with area-changing cross section显示文摘The two-dimensional cellular detonation propagating in a channel with area-changing cross section was numerically simulated with the dispersion-controlled dissipative scheme and a detailed chemical reaction model. Effects of the flow ex-pansion and compression on the cellular detonation cell were investigated to illus-trate the mechanism of the transverse wave development and the cellular detona-tion cell evolution. By examining gas composition variations behind the leading shock,the chemical reaction rate,the reaction zone length,and thermodynamic parameters,two kinds of the abnormal detonation waves were identified. 11Photosynthetic microorganisms coupled photodynamic therapy for enhanced antitumor immune effect显示文摘The ideal photodynamic therapy(PDT)should effectively remove the primary tumor,and produce a stronger immune memory effect to inhibit the tumor recurrence and tumor metastasis.However,limited by the hypoxic and immunosuppressive microenvironment,the PDT efficiency is apparently low.Here,Chlorella(Chl.)is exploited to enhance local effect by producing oxygen to reverse hypoxia,and release adjuvants to reverse immunosuppressive microenvironment to enhance abscopal effect afterwards.Results from different animal models indicated that Chl.could enhance local effect and PDT related immune response.Ultimately,Chl.coupled PDT elicited anti-tumor effects toward established primary tumors(inhibition rate:90%)and abscopal tumors(75%),controlled the challenged tumors(100%)and alleviated metastatic tumors(90%).This Chl.coupled PDT strategy can also produce a stronger anti-tumor immune memory effect.Overall,this Chl.coupled PDT strategy generates enhanced local tumor killing,boosts PDT-induced immune responses and promotes anti-tumor immune memory effect,which may be a great progress for realizing systemic effect of PDT.Haoran Wang Honghui Liu Yunfei Guo Wenjing Zai Xianghui Li Wei Xiong Xiaozhi Zhao Yingfang Yao Yiqiao Hu Zhigang Zou Jinhui Wu 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,6:0

13Rare inherited missense variants of POGZ associate with autism risk and disrupt neuronal development显示文摘Excess de novo likely gene-disruptive and missense variants within dozens of genes have been identified in autism spectrum disorder(ASD)and other neurodevelopmental disorders.However,many rare inherited missense variants of these high-risk genes have not been thoroughly evaluated.In this study,we analyzed the rare missense variant burden of POGZ in a large cohort of ASD patients from the Autism Clinical and Genetic Resources in China(ACGC)and further dissected the functional effect of diseaseassociated missense variants on neuronal development.Our results showed a significant burden of rare missense variants in ASD patients compared to the control population(P=4.6×10-5,OR=3.96),and missense variants in ASD patients showed more severe predicted functional outcomes than those in controls.Furthermore,by leveraging published large-scale sequencing data of neurodevelopmental disorders(NDDs)and sporadic case reports,we identified 8 de novo missense variants of POGZ in NDD patients.Functional analysis revealed that two inherited,but not de novo,missense variants influenced the cellular localization of POGZ and failed to rescue the defects in neurite and dendritic spine development caused by Pogz knockdown in cultured mouse primary cortical neurons.Significantly,L1CAM,an autism candidate risk gene,is differentially expressed in POGZ deficient cell lines.Reduced expression of L1cam was able to partially rescue the neurite length defects caused by Pogz knockdown.Our study showed the important roles of rare inherited missense variants of POGZ in ASD risk and neuronal development and identified the potential downstream targets of POGZ,which are important for further molecular mechanism studies.Wenjing Zhao Jieqiong Tan Tengfei Zhu Jianjun Ou Ying Li Lu Shen Huidan Wu Lin Han Yanling Liu Xiangbin Jia Ting Bai Honghui Li Xiaoyan Ke Jingping Zhao Xiaobing Zou Zhengmao Hu Hui Guo Kun Xia 2019Journal of Genetics and Genomics2019,46,5:0
14Pseudo-chromosome–length genome assembly for a deep-sea eel Ilyophis brunneus sheds light on the deep-sea adaptation显示文摘High hydrostatic pressure,low temperature,and scarce food supply are the major factors that limit the survival of vertebrates in extreme deep-sea environments.Here,we constructed a high-quality genome of the deep-sea Muddy arrowtooth eel(MAE,Ilyophis brunneus,captured below a depth of 3,500 m)by using Illumina,Pac Bio,and Hi-C sequencing.We compare it against those of shallow-water eel and other outgroups to explore the genetic basis that underlies the adaptive evolution to deep-sea biomes.The MAE genome was estimated to be 1.47 Gb and assembled into 14 pseudo-chromosomes.Phylogenetic analyses indicated that MAE diverged from its closely related shallow-sea species,European eel,~111.9 Mya and experienced a rapid evolution.The genome evolutionary analyses primarily revealed the following:(i)under high hydrostatic pressure,the positively selected gene TUBGCP3 and the expanded family MLC1 may improve the cytoskeleton stability;ACOX1 may enhance the fluidity of cell membrane and maintain transport activity;the expansion of ABCC12 gene family may enhance the integrity of DNA;(ii)positively selected HARS likely maintain the transcription ability at low temperatures;and(iii)energy metabolism under a food-limited environment may be increased by expanded and positively selected genes in AMPK and m TOR signaling pathways.Jie Chen Honghui Zeng Wenqi Lv Ning Sun Cheng Wang Wenjie Xu Mingliang Hu Xiaoni Gan Lisheng He Shunping He Chengchi Fang 2023Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,6:0
15Enhanced genome editing to ameliorate a genetic metabolic liver disease through co-delivery of adeno-associated virus receptor显示文摘Genome editing through adeno-associated viral(AAV) vectors is a promising gene therapy strategy for various diseases,especially genetic disorders. However, homologous recombination(HR) efficiency is extremely low in adult animal models. We assumed that increasing AAV transduction efficiency could increase genome editing activity, especially HR efficiency, for in vivo gene therapy. Firstly, a mouse phenylketonuria(PKU) model carrying a pathogenic R408W mutation in phenylalanine hydroxylase(Pah) was generated. Through co-delivery of the general AAV receptor(AAVR), we found that AAVR could dramatically increase AAV transduction efficiency in vitro and in vivo. Furthermore, co-delivery of SaCas9/sgRNA/donor templates with AAVR via AAV8 vectors increased indel rate over 2-fold and HR rate over 15-fold for the correction of the single mutation in Pah;mice. Moreover, AAVR co-injection successfully increased the site-specific insertion rate of a 1.4 kb Pah cDNA by 11-fold, bringing the HR rate up to 7.3% without detectable global off-target effects. Insertion of Pah cDNA significantly decreased the Phe level and ameliorated PKU symptoms. 16Improvement in hydrogen storage performance of Mg by mechanical grinding with molten salt etching Ti_(3)C_(2)Cl_(x)显示文摘Mg-based materials are currently a hot research topic as hydrogen storage materials due to their considerable theoretical hydrogen storage capacity.However,the kinetic performance of hydrogen absorption and desorption of Mg is too slow and requires high temperature,which seriously hinders the application of this material.MXene is a new type of two-dimensional material with significant role in improving thermodynamics and kinetics.In this experiment,a two-dimensional layered MXene containing Cl functional group was prepared by molten salt etching using the Ti-containing MAX phase as the raw material.Then different ratios of Ti_(3)C_(2)Cl_(x) were uniformly dispersed onto the surface of Mg by high energy ball milling.The samples were characterized by hydrogen absorption and desorption kinetics,SEM,XRD,XPS,and DSC to investigate the effect of Ti_(3)C_(2)Cl_(x) on the hydrogen absorption and desorption performance of Mg.The onset hydrogen absorption temperature can be reduced to room temperature and the hydrogen release temperature is reduced by 200℃ by doping Ti_(3)C_(2)Cl_(x).And there is also 5.4wt%hydrogen storage in the isothermal hydrogen absorption test at 400℃.The results of DSC demonstrate that the Ea of Mg+15wt%Ti_(3)C_(2)Cl_(x) was reduced by 12.6%compared to pristine Mg.TheΔH is almost invariable.The results of XPS show that the presence of multivalent Ti promotes electron transfer and thus improves the conversion between Mg^(2+)/Mg and H^(−)/H.This study provides a guideline for further improving the hydrogen absorption and desorption performance of Mg-based hydrogen storage materials.Shuaicheng Hu Lijun Lv Guo Yang Wei Liu Hong Miao Honghui Cheng Xingbo Han Zifeng Lin 2023Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2023,33,2:0
