1A bioactive injectable self-healing anti-inflammatory hydrogel with ultralong extracellular vesicles release synergistically enhances motor functional recovery of spinal cord injury显示文摘The repair and motor functional recovery after spinal cord injury(SCI)remains a worldwide challenge.The inflammatory microenvironment is one of main obstacles on inhibiting the recovery of SCI.Using mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)derived extracellular vesicles to replace MSCs transplantation and mimic cell paracrine secretions provides a potential strategy for microenvironment regulation.However,the effective preservation and controlled release of extracellular vesicles in the injured spinal cord tissue are still not satisfied.Herein,we fabricated an injectable adhesive anti-inflammatory F127-polycitrate-polyethyleneimine hydrogel(FE)with sustainable and long term extracellular vesicle release(FE@EVs)for improving motor functional recovery after SCI.The orthotopic injection of FE@EVs hydrogel could encapsulate extracellular vesicles on the injured spinal cord,thereby synergistically induce efficient integrated regulation through suppressing fibrotic scar formation,reducing inflammatory reaction,promoting remyelination and axonal regeneration.This study showed that combining extracellular vesicles into bioactive multifunctional hydrogel should have great potential in achieving satisfactory locomotor recovery of central nervous system diseases.Chenggui Wang Min Wang Kaishun Xia Jingkai Wang Feng Cheng Kesi Shi Liwei Ying Chao Yu Haibin Xu Shining Xiao Chengzhen Liang Fangcai Li Bo Lei Qixin Chen 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,8:9

3Effect of SBS and crumb rubber on asphalt modification:A review of the properties and practical application显示文摘Owing to the environmental protection potential and the desirable high performance capabilities,asphalt rubber(AR)and styrene-butadiene-styrene(SBS)modified asphalt have been widely used.However,the poor construction workability and segregation issues of AR,along with the exorbitant cost of SBS modified asphalt,are of the serious problems that plague their application scope.Moreover,SBS/crumb rubber(CR)modified asphalt is gradually becoming widespread and it therefore becomes incumbent to find appropriate ways to mitigate the issues that may limit its use.As a consequence,it becomes crucial to analyze the interaction between CR and SBS modifiers in the composite mixture,as well as evaluate the influence of modifier dosage on the performance of the modified asphalt.This study presents a comprehensive review of the effects of SBS modifier,CR modifier and composite SBS/CR on the performance of modified asphalts.Macro analysis and micro analysis,including analysis on the conventional physical properties,are carried out.It can uncover the interaction between modifier and asphalt,which reveals how the modifiers influence the properties of modified asphalts.This study will serve as a source of invaluable information to researchers,engineers,and designers,informing them the development,potential and challenges of the CR,SBS and SBS/CR modified asphalts,the optimum contents to attain the best performance along with the mechanism involved.Haibin Li Canyang Cui Ahmed Abdulakeem Temitope Zixuan Feng Guijuan Zhao Ping Guo 2022Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2022,9,5:6
4Spatiotemporal variations of Zr/Rb ratio in three last interglacial paleosol profiles across the Chinese Loess Plateau and its implications for climatic interpretation显示文摘The ratio of Zirconium to Rubidium (Zr/Rb) is suggested to be a better proxy for the East Asian winter monsoon strength than the widely-used grain size distribution. The rationale for the Zr/Rb proxy relies on the following assumptions: (1) Grain size fractionating characteristics during eolian dust transport should be archived in the Zr/Rb ratio records and this assumption is based on the premise that Zr is preferentially enriched in coarser grain size fraction while Rb tend to be enriched in finer grain size fraction; and (2) post-depositional weathering does not change the Zr/Rb ratio due to the immobility of these two elements. To examine these two assumptions, three last interglacial paleosols (S1) from Dingxi, Tianshui and Lantian, along a NW-SE transect across the Chinese Loess Plateau, were geo- chemically investigated. Our results show that the Rb concentration exhibits an increasing trend along the NW-SE transect both in the paleosol (S1) and the measured portions of the loess units (L1 and L2), being supportive to the assumption that Rb is enriched in the fine particles. But we also found that Rb loss did occur to some extent in the three profiles, contradicting to the presumption of Rb immobility during pedogenic processes. The Zr concentration exhibits an expected decreasing trend in the measured portions of the loess units and an unexpected increasing trend in the paleosol along the NW-SE transect. Moreover, the ratios of Zirconium to Hafnium (Zr/Hf) show different variation patterns between interglacial and glacial, implying that Zr-bearing minerals and their resident grain size frac- tions are probably not identical during interglacial and glacial. Thus, the assumption that Zr is enriched in coarse grain size fraction can no longer hold. We conclude that the final Zr/Rb value is not only de- pendent on grain size sorting processes but also on post-depositional alteration and source prove- nance. Under enhanced chemical weathering, especially when chemical index of alteration (CIA) is greater than 65, the Zr/Rb value loses its validity to be a reliable proxy for the winter monsoon strength. 5Late Paleozoic to Mesozoic extension in southwestern Fujian Province, South China: Geochemical, geochronological and Hf isotopic constraints from basic-intermediate dykes显示文摘The tectonic evolution of SE China block since late Paleozoic remains debated.Here we present a new set of zircon U-Pb geochronological,Lu-Hf isotopic data and whole-rock geochemistry for two stages of basicintermediate dykes from the southwestern Fujian.The samples were collected from the NE-trending(mainly diabases) and NW-trending(mainly diabasic diorites) dykes and yielded zircon U-Pb ages of 315 and 141 Ma,with ε_(Hf)(t) values of-8.90 to 7.49 and-23.39 to-7.15(corresponding to T_(DM2) values of 850 to 1890 Ma and 737 to 2670 Ma),respectively.Geochemically these rocks are characterized by low TiO_2(0.91-1.73 wt.%)and MgO(3.04-7.96 wt.%),and high Al_2O_3(12.5-16.60 wt.%) and K_2O(0.60-3.63 wt.%).Further they are enriched in LREEs and ULEs(Rb,Ba,Th and K).but depleted in HFSEs(Nb,Ta and Zr).The tectonic discrimination analysis revealed that the dykes were formed in an intraplate extensional environment.However,the NW trending dykes show crust-mantle mixed composition,which indicate an extensional tectonic setting with evidence for crustal contamination.The SE China block experienced two main stages of extensional tectonics from late Carboniferous to early Cretaceous.The tectonic evolution of the SE China block from late Devonian to Cretaceous is also evaluated.Sen Wang Da Zhang Ganguo Wu Absai Vatuva Yongjun Di Pengcheng Yan Haibin Feng Shuai Ma 2017Geoscience Frontiers2017,8,3:6
6Histological Observation of Germ Cell Development and Discovery of Spermatophores in Ovoviviparous Black Rockfish(Sebastes schlegeli Hilgendorf) in Reproductive Season显示文摘Black rockfish(Sebastes schlegeli) is an important species for culture; however, its reproductive characteristics have not been fully documented. In this study, we investigated the morphology and developmental process of germ cells in this ovoviviparous rockfish in reproductive season(October 2011–November 2012) with histological methods. We found that the gonad of mature fish showed notable seasonal changes in developmental characteristics and morphological structure. The sperm cells matured during a period lasting from October to December, significantly earlier than the oocytes did. A large number of spermatozoa and other cells occurred in testis at different developmental stages. Vitellogenesis in oocytes began in October, and gestation appeared in April next year. Spermatophores were discovered for the first time in Sebastes, which assembled in testis, main sperm duct, oviduct and genital tract, as well as ovarian cavity in October and April. These organs may serve either as production or hiding places for spermatophores and spermatozoa which were stored and transported in form of spermatophores. Testicular degeneration started from the distal part of testis in April, with spermatophores assembled in degenerating testis and waiting for transportation. The copulation probably lasted for a long period, during which the spermatozoa were discharged in batches as spermatophores. 7Overexpression of AHL20 Negatively Regulates Defenses in Arabidopsis显示文摘Plants are equipped to recognize invading pathogenic microbes and activate innate immune responses by sensing pathogen-associated molecular patterns(PAMPs).PAMP-triggered immunity(PTI) is critical for plant resistance to potential pathogens.Although the mechanism by which PTI is activated has been intensively studied,exactly how plants prevent unregulated immune responses is less well understood.Here we provide evidence that AHL20,an AT-hook containing DNA-binding protein,negatively regulates PTI.Overexpression of AHL20 as a stable transgene suppressed PAMP-induced NHO1 and FRK1 expression in Arabidopsis plants.Similarly,transient expression of the closely related family members AHL19,AHL15,and AHL27 in protoplasts also blocked PAMP-induced gene expression.The AHL20 overexpression plants displayed greater susceptibility to virulent Pseudomonas syringae bacteria.These results indicate that AHL proteins play an important role in plant immunity.Haibin Lu Yan ZOU Na Feng 2010Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2010,52,9:5
8Evaluation of multi-cycle performance of chemical looping dry reforming using CO_2 as an oxidant with Fe–Ni bimetallic oxides显示文摘Chemical looping dry reforming(CLDR) is an innovative technology for CO_2 utilization using the chemical looping principle.The CLDR process consists of three stages,i.e.CH4 reduction,CO_2 reforming,and air oxidation.Spinel nickel ferrite(NiFe_2O_4) was prepared and its multi-cycle performance as an oxygen carrier for CLDR was experimentally investigated.X-ray diffraction(XRD) and Laser Raman spectroscopy showed that a pure spinel crystalline phase(NiFe_2O_4) was obtained by a parallel flow co-precipitating method.NiFe_2O_4was reduced into Fe-Ni alloy and wustite(Fe_xO) during the CH_4 reduction process.Subsequent oxidation of the reduced oxygen carrier was performed with CO_2 as an oxidant to form an intermediate state:a mixture of spinel Ni_(1-x)Fe_(2+x)O_4,Fe_(2+y)O_4 and metallic Ni.And CO was generated in parallel during this stage.Approximate 185 mL of CO was generated for 1 g spinel NiFe_2O_4 in a single cycle.The intermediate oxygen carrier was fully oxidized in the air oxidation stage to form a mixture of Ni_(1+x)Fe_(2-x)O_4 and Fe_2O_3.Although the original state of oxygen carrier(NiFe_2O_4) was not fully regenerated and agglomeration was observed,a good recyclability was shown in 10 successive redox cycles.Zhen Huang Huanqi Jiang Fang He Dezhen Chen Guoqiang Wei Kun Zhao Anqing Zheng Yipeng Feng Zengli Zhao Haibin Li 2016Journal of Energy Chemistry2016,25,1:4
9A HYDRO-MECHANICAL-CHEMICAL COUPLING MODEL FOR GEOMATERIAL WITH BOTH MECHANICAL AND CHEMICAL DAMAGES CONSIDERED显示文摘A general framework of hydro-mechanical-chemical coupling model is proposed for geomaterial subjected to the dual effects of mechanical loading and chemical degradation. Mechanical damage due to microcracks in solid matrix and chemical damage induced by the increase of porosity due to dissolution of matrix minerals as well as their interactions are considered. A special model is proposed for sandstone. The reaction rate is formulated within the framework of mineral reaction kinetics and can thus take into account different dissolution mechanisms of three main mineral compositions under different pH values. The increase of porosity is physically defined by the dissolution of mineral composition and the chemical damage is related to the increase of porosity. The mechanical behavior is characterized by unified plastic damage and viscoplastic damage modeling. The effective stress is used for describing the effect of pore pressure. The elastic parameters and plastic evolution as well as viscoplastic evolution are dependent on chemical damage. The advection, which is coupled with mechanical damage and chemical damage, is considered as the dominant mechanism of mass transfer. The application of model proposed is from decoupled experiments to fully coupled experiment. 103D carbon network supported porous SiOC ceramics with enhanced microwave absorption properties显示文摘Porous SiOC ceramic was successfully prepared by pyrolysis of dimethylsilicone oil,silane coupling agent and melamine foam.The microwave absorbing properties of porous SiOC were studied for the first time.At the matching layer thickness of 3.0 mm,the paraffin-based composite with porous SiOC displays a minimum reflection coefficient(RC)of-39.13 d B(11.76 GHz)and an effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)of 4.64 GHz which are much larger than that of paraffin-based composite with ordinary SiOC.It is found that the porous structure of SiOC is crucial to achieve its high microwave absorption performance by improving both the polarization loss and conduction loss.The enhanced polarization loss is originated from the dipole polarization and interfacial polarization,while the improvement of conduction loss is attributed to the carbon skeleton of porous SiOC.These results indicate that porous SiOC ceramic is a promising candidate for high-performance ceramic-based microwave absorbing materials.Chen Chen Sifan Zeng Xiaochun Han Yongqiang Tan Wanlin Feng Huahai Shen Shuming Peng Haibin Zhang 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,54,19:3

14Facile pathway to generate agrochemical nanosuspensions integrating super-high load, eco-friendly excipients, intensified preparation process, and enhanced potency显示文摘An aqueous nanosuspension of agrochemicals unlike pharmaceutics has to achieve massive production in an effective way,capable to ensure sufficient profits in commercialization.This work implements the flash nanoprecipitation(FNP)technique to effectively generate agrochemical nanosuspension,anticipatedly overcoming such an obstacle.Azoxystrobin,a broad spectrum fungicide,in either acetone or ethanol is used herein as a mode agrochemical.To ensure a green and practical utilization,three kinds of commercially available and eco-friendly surfactants,i.e.,poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)(PEG-b-PLGA),Tween 80 and alkyl polyglucosides(APGs),are employed for stabilizing the nanoparticles.The results show that the polymeric stabilizer,PEG-b-PLGA,has the best stabilization efficiency,and can maintain the particles below 100 nm for at least three weeks.The azoxystrobin load of the nanoparticles reaches as high as 77 wt.%,beneficial to enhancing the biological potency.Moreover,the FNP brings the particles a much smaller size,narrower size distribution,better size stability,and higher biological efficacy than the ones made via a traditional method of the drop and stir(DS).The nanosuspensions present superior fungicidal performances over a prevailing counterpart from Syngenta.This study proves an enhanced biological potency and reduced dosage of agrochemical nanosuspension made via the FNP,indicating a remarkable advantage of the FNP over the conventional preparation.The integration of a super-high load,eco-friendly excipients,intensified preparation process,enhanced potency,and reduced dosage creates a promising pathway to generate a green aqueous nanosuspension of agrochemicals.Zhengxi Zhu Chuanhua Shao Yanlin Guo Jianguo Feng Chong Chen and Haibin Yang 2021Nano Research2021,14,7:1

17Anti-Jamming Algorithm Based on Spatial Blind Search for Global Navigation Satellite System Receiver显示文摘A novel subspace projection anti-jamming algorithm based on spatial blind search is proposed,which uses multiple single-constrained subspace projection parallel filters.If the direction of arrival(DOA)of a satellite signal is unknown,the traditional subspace projection anti-jamming algorithm cannot form the correct beam pointing.To overcome the problem of the traditional subspace projection algorithm,multiple single-constrained subspace projection parallel filters are used.Every single-constrained anti-jamming subspace projection algorithm obtains the optimal weight vector by searching the DOA of the satellite signal and uses the output of cross correlation as a decision criterion.Test results show that the algorithm can suppress the jamming effectively,and generate high gain toward the desired signal.The research provides a new idea for the engineering implementation of a multi-beam anti-jamming algorithm based on subspace projection.Jining Feng Xiaobo Yang Haibin Ma Jun Wang 2020Journal of Beijing Institute of Technology2020,29,1:1
