| 2 | Self-tuning virtual synchronous generator control for improving frequency stability in autonomous photovoltaic-diesel microgrids显示文摘This paper investigates the use of a virtual synchronous generator(VSG) to improve frequency stability in an autonomous photovoltaic-diesel microgrid with energy storage. VSG control is designed to emulate inertial response and damping power via power injection from/to the energy storage system. The effect of a VSG with constant parameters(CP-VSG) on the system frequency is analyzed. Based on the case study, self-tuning algorithms are used to search for optimal parameters during the operation of the VSG in order to minimize the amplitude and rate of change of the frequency variations. The performances of the proposed self-tuning(ST)-VSG, the frequency droop method, and the CP-VSG are evaluated by comparing their effects on attenuating frequency variationsunder load variations. | 3 | Fengyun Meteorological Satellite Products for Earth System Science Applications显示文摘Following the progress of satellite data assimilation in the 1990s, the combination of meteorological satellites and numerical models has changed the way scientists understand the earth. With the evolution of numerical weather prediction models and earth system models, meteorological satellites will play a more important role in earth sciences in the future. As part of the space-based infrastructure, the Fengyun (FY) meteorological satellites have contributed to earth science sustainability studies through an open data policy and stable data quality since the first launch of the FY-1A satellite in 1988. The capability of earth system monitoring was greatly enhanced after the second-generation polar orbiting FY-3 satellites and geostationary orbiting FY-4 satellites were developed. Meanwhile, the quality of the products generated from the FY-3 and FY-4 satellites is comparable to the well-known MODIS products. FY satellite data has been utilized broadly in weather forecasting, climate and climate change investigations, environmental disaster monitoring, etc. This article reviews the instruments mounted on the FY satellites. Sensor-dependent level 1 products (radiance data) and inversion algorithm-dependent level 2 products (geophysical parameters) are introduced. As an example, some typical geophysical parameters, such as wildfires, lightning, vegetation indices, aerosol products, soil moisture, and precipitation estimation have been demonstrated and validated by in-situ observations and other well-known satellite products. To help users access the FY products, a set of data sharing systems has been developed and operated. | 4 | Multi-objective Stability Control Algorithm of Heavy Tractor Semi-trailer Based on Differential Braking显示文摘Rollover and jack-knifing of tractor semi-trailer are serious threats for vehicle safety,and accordingly active safety technologies have been widely used to reduce or prevent the occurrence of such accidents.However,currently tractor semi-trailer stability control is generally only a single hazardous condition (rollover or jack-knifing) control,it is difficult to ensure the vehicle comprehensive stability of various dangerous conditions.The main objective of this study is to introduce a multi-objective stability control algorithm which can improve the vehicle stability of a tractor semi-trailer by using differential braking.A vehicle controller is designed to minimize the likelihood of rollover and jack-knifing.First a linear vehicle model of tractor semi-trailer is constructed.Then an optimal yaw control for tractor using differential braking is applied to minimize the yaw rate and lateral acceleration deviation of tractor,as well as the hitch articulation angle of tractor semi-trailer,so as to improve the vehicle stability.Second a braking scheme and variable structure control with sliding mode control are introduced in order to achieve the best braking effect.Last Fishhook maneuver is introduced to the active safety simulation and the active control system effect verification.The simulation results show that multi-objective stability control algorithm of semi-trailer could improve the vehicle stability significantly during the transient maneuvers.The proposed multi-objective stability control algorithm is effective to prevent the vehicle rollover and jackknifing. | ZONG Changfu ZHU Tianjun WANG Chang LIU Haizhen | 2012 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,1: | 13 |

| 8 | Degradation of o-chloronitrobenzene as the sole carbon and nitrogen sources by Pseudomonas putida OCNB-1显示文摘A bacterial strain that utilized o-chloronitrobenzene(o-CNB) as the sole carbon,nitrogen and energy sources was isolated from an activated sludge collected from an industrial waste treatment plant. It was identified as Pseudomonas putida based on its morphology,physiological,and biochemical characteristics with an automatic biometrical system and the 16S rRNA sequence analysis. Microcosm study showed that the biodegradation of o-CNB was optimized at culture medium pH 8.0 and 32°C. At these conditions,the strain degraded 85% of o-CNB at a starting concentration of 1.1 mmol/L in 42 h. o-Chloroaniline was identified as the major metabolite with high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS) . | 10 | Clinicopathological features and surgical outcomes of four rare subtypes of primary liver carcinoma显示文摘Objective:This study aimed to analyze clinicopathological and prognostic features of four rare pathological subtypes of primary liver malignancies to make better understanding of their clinical features.Methods:The clinicopathological data of 114 patients who were diagnosed with histologically proven four subtypes:clear cell carcinoma(CCC),giant cell carcinoma(GCC),sarcomatoid carcinoma(SC),and combined hepatocellular-cholangiocarcinoma(CHC)between October 1998 and August 2015 were reviewed.Their survival data were compared with those of 908 patients with histologically proven common hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)(early-and advanced-stage HCC)during the same period.Results:The outcome of the CCC group was better than that of the other three subgroups,and was similar to that of the early-stage HCC group.Also,the smallest tumor size and the highest incidence of pseudocapsule formation were observed in the CCC group.The SC group had the worst outcome among these four subgroups;the prognosis was much poorer than that of any other subgroups,even poorer than that of the advanced-stage common HCC group.No statistical difference was observed between the GCC,CHC and advanced-stage HCC groups on survival analysis.The incidences of tumor vascular emboli,TNM staging and non-radical resection were three risk factors of the prognosis.Conclusions:CCC is a low-degree malignancy and relatively favorably prognostic subtype of HCC.However,GCC,SC,and CHC are three rare high-degree malignancy subtypes of HCC with poor prognosis. | Zhiyu Li Xiaolong Wu Xinyu Bi Yefan Zhang Zhen Huang Haizhen Lu Hong Zhao Jianjun Zhao Jianguo Zhou Muxing Li Jianming Ying Jianqiang Cai | 2018 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2018,30,3: | 6 |
| 11 | Knockdown of MRP4 by lentivirus-mediated siRNA improves sensitivity to adriamycin in adriamycin-resistant acute myeloid leukemia cells显示文摘Chemotherapy remains the standard treatment for acute myeloid leukemia;however,the emergence of drug resistance is a major hurdle in the successful treatment of leukemia.The expression of multidrug resistance-associated protein 4(MRP4)induces re- sistance in the adriamycin-resistant acute myeloid leukemia cell line,K562/ADR.The aim of this study was to investigate whether knockdown of MRP4 by lentivirus-mediated siRNA could improve the sensitivity of K562/ADR cells to adriamycin.Five lenti- virus-mediated short hairpin RNAs(lv-shRNAs-MRP4)were designed to trigger the gene silencing RNA interference(RNAi) pathway.The efficiency of lentivirus-mediated siRNA infection into K562/ADR cells was determined using fluorescence mi- croscopy to observe lentivirus-mediated GFP expression.MRP4 expression in infected K562/ADR cells was evaluated by real- time PCR and Western blot analysis.The MTS assay was used to measure cell viability and flow cytometry was used to measure apoptosis.The transfection efficiency of K562/ADR cells was over 80 percent.The gene silencing efficacy of lv-shRNA1-MRP4 was superior to the other constructs.Infection of K562/ADR cells with lv-shRNA1-MRP4 led to strong inhibition of MRP4 mRNA and protein expression.Combined treatment with lv-shRNA1-MRP4 and adriamycin decreased cell growth and increased apoptosis compared to treatment with lv-shRNA1-MRP4 or adriamycin alone.These data indicate that in K562/ADR cells MRP4 is involved in drug resistance mechanisms and that lentivirus-mediated knockdown of MRP4 may enhance sensitivity to adriamycin. | LIU Bei ZHAO Li MA HaiZhen ZHANG Wei JIN Yu | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,1: | 5 |

| 15 | Adsorption characteristic of bensulfuron-methyl at variable added Pb^(2+) concentrations on paddy soils显示文摘The combined pollution of heavy metal Pb2+ and bensulfuron-methyl (BSM), originating from chemical herbicides, in agro- ecological environments has become commonplace in southern China. The adsorption of BSM on three paddy soils in the presence of Pb2+ was examined using high-performance liquid chromatograph (HPLC). Results indicated that adsorption of BSM could accurately be described by a Freundlich isotherm equation with correlation constant (R) > 0.98, irrespective of the presence of spiked Pb2+. Of the various factors influencing BSM sorption, soil pH appeared to be the most inffiuential. The constant Kf of Freundlich isotherm equation tended to increase with increasing Pb2+ concentration in soil which indicated that the spiked of Pb2+ in paddy soils would promote the sorption of BSM. △Gθ of BSM in three paddy soils was less than 40 kJ/mol in all treatments, indicating the adsorption of BSM is mainly physical in nature. The elution of soil dissolved organic matter (DOM) enhanced the adsorption of BSM in paddy soils. | 18 | Three Gorges Dam: friend or foe of riverine greenhouse gases?显示文摘Dams are often regarded as greenhouse gas(GHG) emitters. However, our study indicated that the world’s largest dam, the Three Gorges Dam(TGD), has caused significant drops in annual average emissions of CO, CHand NO over 4300 km along the Yangtze River, accompanied by remarkable reductions in the annual export of CO(79%), CH(50%) and NO(9%) to the sea. Since the commencement of its operation in 2003, the TGD has altered the carbonate equilibrium in the reservoir area, enhanced methanogenesis in the upstream, and restrained methanogenesis and denitrification via modifying anoxic habitats through long-distance scouring in the downstream.
