1Nanoparticle-immersed paper imprinting mass spectrometry imaging reveals uptake and translocation mechanism of pesticides in plants显示文摘Design and discovery of carrier-mediated modified pesticides are vital for reducing pesticide dosage and increasing utilization,yet it remains a great challenge due to limited insights into plant translocation mechanisms.Nanostructure/nanoparticle assisted laser desorption/ionization strategy has established itself as a preferential analytical tool for biological tissue analysis,whereas potential applications in plant sciences are hindered with regard to the inability to slice plant leaves and petals.Herein,we report gold nanoparticle(AuNP)-immersed paper imprinting mass spectrometry imaging(MSI)for the spatiotemporal visualization of pesticide translocation in plant leaves.This approach plays a dual role in preserving spatial information and improving ionization efficiency for pesticides regardless of imaging artifacts due to homogenous AuNP deposition.Using this MSI platform,we proposed the elaborate plant translocation mechanism of agrochemicals for the first time,which is currently poorly understood.The dynamic processes of carrier-mediated pesticides can be clearly visualized,including crossing of plasma membranes by transporters,translocation downward in stems through the phloem,diffusion to the xylem and,conversely,accumulation at margins of the treated leaves.Moreover,this AuNP-assisted paper imprinting method could be highly compatible with laser-based MSI instruments,expediting researches across a broad range of fields,especially in nanomaterial development and life sciences.Xinzhou Wu Run Qin Hanxiang Wu Guangkai Yao Yue Zhang Ping Li Yizhu Xu Zhixiang Zhang Zhibin Yin Hanhong Xu 2020Nano Research2020,13,3:8
2The nonlinear evolution of rogue waves generated by means of wave focusing technique显示文摘Generating the rogue waves in offshore engineering is investigated,first of all,to forecast its occurrence to protect the offshore structure from being attacked,to study the mechanism and hydrodynamic properties of rouge wave experimentally as well as the rouge/structure interaction for the structure design.To achieve these purposes demands an accurate wave generation and calculation.In this paper,we establish a spatial domain model of fourth order nonlinear Schrdinger(NLS) equation for describing deep-water wave trains in the moving coordinate system.In order to generate rogue waves in the experimental tank efficiently,we take care that the transient water wave(TWW) determines precisely the concentration of time/place.First we simulate the three-dimensional wave using TWW in the numerical tank and modeling the deepwater basin with a double-side multi-segmented wave-maker in Shanghai Jiao Tong University(SJTU) under the linear superposing theory.To discuss its nonlinearity for guiding the experiment,we set the TWW as the initial condition of the NLS equation.The differences between the linear and nonlinear simulations are presented.Meanwhile,the characteristics of the transient water wave,including water particle velocity and wave slope,are investigated,which are important factors in safeguarding the offshore structures.HU HanHong MA Ning 2011Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2011,54,1:4
3A Fast Approach for Track Initiation and Termination显示文摘Track initiation and termination is an important function in Multi-target tracking (MTT), it is a decision part for establishing the records of the new targets and terminating the unwanted records of the inexistent targets when they leave the surveillance region. But in the heavy cluttered environment, there exists so called “incomplete data problem”, due to the unknown state of the target and the sequence of measurements which originate from the target. Because the EM algorithm is an efficient means to solve the “incomplete data problem”,a fast track initiation and termination approach applicable to engineering is presented, which combines the Sequential probabilistic ratio test (SPRT) with recursive Expectation maximization (EM). Here, track initiation and termination is modeled as a hypothesis testing problem. And aiming at the computational difficulty of the likelihood function due to the unknown target state and the sequence of measurements which originate from the target, the recursive EM-based formula of likelihood function is introduced. It gives an efficient solution to track initiation and termination by processing the measurement data sequentially, and its recursive form can meet the real-time demand. 8A new cytotoxic salannin-class limonoid alkaloid from seeds of Azadirachta indica A. Juss显示文摘A new cytotoxic salannin-class limonoid alkaloid, azadiramide A(1),was isolated from seeds of Azadirachta indica A. Juss. Its structure was elucidated by extensive analysis of spectroscopic data and quantum chemical calculation. Compound 1 is a rare salannin-class limonoid alkaloid. To our best knowledge, only two compounds belonging to this type were so far found.
