3Somatic Embryogenesis Receptor Kinases Control Root Development Mainly via Brassinosteroid-Independent Actions in Arabidopsis thaliana显示文摘Brassinosteroids(BRs),a group of plant steroidal hormones,play critical roles in many aspects of plant growth and development.Previous studies showed that BRI1-mediated BR signaling regulates cell division and differentiation during Arabidopsis root development via interplaying with auxin and other phytohormones.Arabidopsis somatic embryogenesis receptor-like kinases(SERKs),as co-receptors of BRI1,were found to play a fundamental role in an early activation step of BR signaling pathway.Here we report a novel function of SERKs in regulating Arabidopsis root development.Genetic analyses indicated that SERKs control root growth mainly via a BR-independent pathway.Although BR signaling pathway is completely disrupted in the serk1 bak1 bkk1 triple mutant,the root growth of the triple mutant is much severely damaged than the BR deficiency or signaling null mutants.More detailed analyses indicated that the triple mutant exhibited drastically reduced expression of a number of genes critical to polar auxin transport,cell cycle,endodermis development and root meristem differentiation,which were not observed in null BR biosynthesis mutant cpd and null BR signaling mutant bri1-701.Junbo Du Hongju Yin Shasha Zhang Zhuoyun Wei Baolin Zhao Jinghua Zhang Xiaoping Gou Honghui Lin Jia Li 2012Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2012,54,6:22

5Dominant mutations in CHK1 cause pronuclear fusion failure and zygote arrest that can be rescued by CHK1 inhibitor显示文摘Dear Editor,Infertility poses a major challenge to human reproductive health,affecting approximately 48 million women worldwide.1 Assisted reproductive techniques(ART),including in vitro fertilization(IVF)and intracytoplasmic sperm injection(ICSI),enable infertile women to have their biological embryos in vitro and further give birth to babies after embryo transfer.However,about 10%of all human embryos produced by ART are blocked in the early embryonic stage2 and approximately 2%fertilized oocytes derived from ART could not accomplish the first cell division.3 About one half of human infertility cases involve an underlying genetic factor,although the majority of genetic causes have remained elusive.4 In this study,we report that dominant mutations in CHK1 are responsible for pronuclear fusion failure and zygote arrest(PFF-ZA)in 7 out of 29 cases,likely through increasing the CHK1 activity.Importantly,PFF-ZA caused by these mutations could be effectively rescued by using the CHK1 inhibitor,PF477736.Honghui Zhang Tailai Chen Keliang Wu Zhenzhen Hou Shigang Zhao Chuanxin Zhang Yuan Gao Ming Gao Zi-Jiang Chen Han Zhao 2021Cell Research2021,31,7:4
6Cable-truss supporting system for gob-side entry driving in deep mine and its application显示文摘In order to solve the large deformation controlling problem for surrounding rock of gob-side entry driving under common cable anchor support in deep mine, site survey, physical modeling experiment, numerical simulation and field measurement were synthetically used to analyze the deformation and failure characteristics of surrounding rock. Besides, applicability analysis, prestress field distribution characteristics of surrounding rock and the control effect on large deformation of surrounding rock were also further studied for the gob-side entry driving in deep mine using the cable-truss supporting system. The results show that, first, compared with no support and traditional bolt anchor support, roof cable-truss system can effectively restrain the initiation and propagation of tensile cracks in the roof surrounding rock and arc shear cracks in the two sides, moreover, the broken development of surrounding rock, roof separation and extrusion deformation between the two sides of the roadway are all controlled; second, a prestressed belt of trapezoidal shape is generated in the surrounding rock by the cable-truss supporting system, and the prestress field range is wide. Especially, the prestress concentration belt in the shallow surrounding rock can greatly improve the anchoring strength and deformation resisting capability of the rock stratum;third, an optimized support system of ‘‘roof and side anchor net beam, roof cable-truss supporting system and anchor cable of the narrow coal pillar' was put forward, and the support optimization design and field industrial test were conducted for the gob-side entry driving of the working face 5302 in Tangkou Mine, from which a good supporting effect was obtained.Yin Qian Jing Hongwen Dai Dapeng Zhu Tantan Zhao Honghui Meng Bo 2016International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2016,26,5:3

11Catalytic transfer hydrogenolysis of C–O bonds in lignin model compounds without arene hydrogenation显示文摘The shortage of resources and the destruction of the environment have caused serious resource and environmental problems shared by all countries around the world. As a ubiquitous renewable resource, biomass has great prospects for replacing fossil energy and attracted attention from the society. The use of catalytic approach to transform biomass into high-value chemicals is an effective way to use biomass efficiently. In this work, Nisupported catalysts has been developed for the selective cleavage of C–O bonds in lignin model compounds with 2-propanol as the hydrogen source solvent. Among these catalysts, it was indicated that zirconium phosphate(Zr P)-supported Ni catalysts were highly efficient and recyclable for alkyl-aryl ether(α-O-4 and β-O-4) cleavage in lignin model compounds. The further investigation demonstrated that the transfer hydrogenolysis of the C–O bond is highly selective, which afforded phenols and aromatics as dominant products without the products arising from hydrogenation of aromatic rings. Through a series of characterization of the catalyst, it was demonstrated that the medium strong acid sites of the Zr P support promoted the cleavage of alkyl-aryl ethers(α-O-4 and β-O-4),and Br?nsted acid sites favored for achieving high selectivity toward C–O bond cleavage. 13Thermodynamic description of the Mn-Si-Zn system显示文摘The experimental phase equilibria of the Mn-Si-Zn system available in the literature were critically evaluated.Thermodynamic assessment of the Mn-Si-Zn system was then performed in the framework of CALPHAD(CALculation of PHAse Diagram) method on the basis of the experimental data in the literature.The optimal thermodynamic parameters of the ternary system were then obtained,yielding a good agreement with most of the experimental data.The complete liquidus projection and reaction scheme was also presented for the Mn-Si-Zn system.It is noteworthy that a stable closed liquid miscibility gap appears in the computed ternary phase diagrams,even though it is metastable in three boundary binaries.The occurrence of such a closed miscibility gap can be predicted by a criterion considering the general thermodynamic rules and the features of the three constituent binary systems.ZHANG LiJun DU Yong XU HongHui ZHAO JingRui 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,2:1

15Protective behavior of an SO_2/CO_2 gas mixture for molten AZ91D alloy显示文摘The protective behavior for a molten AZ91D alloy in an open melting furnace was investigated under a protective gas mixture containing 3% SO2 and 97% CO2, and the protection mechanism was discussed. Experimental results show that the gas mixture provides effective protection for AZ91D melt in the temperature range from 680 oC to 730 oC. The microstructure, chemical composition and phase composition of the surface film formed on the molten AZ91D alloy were analyzed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) with energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The SEM results demonstrate that the surface films with an average thickness between 0.5 μm and 2 μm are dense and coherent in the protected temperature range. The EDS results reveal that the surface film mainly contains elements S, C, O, Al and Mg. 17Photosynthetic microorganisms coupled photodynamic therapy for enhanced antitumor immune effect显示文摘The ideal photodynamic therapy(PDT)should effectively remove the primary tumor,and produce a stronger immune memory effect to inhibit the tumor recurrence and tumor metastasis.However,limited by the hypoxic and immunosuppressive microenvironment,the PDT efficiency is apparently low.Here,Chlorella(Chl.)is exploited to enhance local effect by producing oxygen to reverse hypoxia,and release adjuvants to reverse immunosuppressive microenvironment to enhance abscopal effect afterwards.Results from different animal models indicated that Chl.could enhance local effect and PDT related immune response.Ultimately,Chl.coupled PDT elicited anti-tumor effects toward established primary tumors(inhibition rate:90%)and abscopal tumors(75%),controlled the challenged tumors(100%)and alleviated metastatic tumors(90%).This Chl.coupled PDT strategy can also produce a stronger anti-tumor immune memory effect.Overall,this Chl.coupled PDT strategy generates enhanced local tumor killing,boosts PDT-induced immune responses and promotes anti-tumor immune memory effect,which may be a great progress for realizing systemic effect of PDT.Haoran Wang Honghui Liu Yunfei Guo Wenjing Zai Xianghui Li Wei Xiong Xiaozhi Zhao Yingfang Yao Yiqiao Hu Zhigang Zou Jinhui Wu 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,6:0
18Rapid fatty acids detection of vegetable oils by Raman spectroscopy based on competitive adaptive reweighted sampling coupled with support vector regression显示文摘Objectives:The composition and content of fatty acids are critical indicators of vegetable oil quality.To overcome the drawbacks of traditional detection methods,Raman spectroscopy was investigated for the fast determination of the fatty acids composition of oil.Materials and Methods:Rapeseed and soybean oil at different depths of the oil tank at different storage times were collected and an eighth-degree polynomial function was used to fit the Raman spectrum.Then,the multivariate scattering correction,standard normal variable transformation(SNV),and Savitzky–Golay convolution smoothing methods were compared.Results:Polynomial fitting combined with SNV was found to be the optimal pretreatment method.Characteristic wavelengths were selected by competitive adaptive reweighted sampling.For monounsaturated fatty acids(MUFAs),polyunsaturated fatty acids(PUFAs),and saturated fatty acids(SFAs),44,75,and 92 characteristic wavelengths of rapeseed oil,and 60,114,and 60 characteristic wavelengths of soybean oil were extracted.Support vector regression was used to establish the prediction model.The R^(2)values of the prediction results of MUFAs,PUFAs,and SFAs for rapeseed oil were 0.9670,0.9568,and 0.9553,and the root mean square error(RMSE)values were 0.0273,0.0326,and 0.0340,respectively.The R^(2)values of the prediction results of fatty acids for soybean oil were respectively 0.9414,0.9562,and 0.9422,and RMSE values were 0.0460,0.0378,and 0.0548,respectively.A good correlation coefficient and small RMSE value were obtained,indicating the results to be highly accurate and reliable.Conclusions:Raman spectroscopy,based on competitive adaptive reweighted sampling coupled with support vector regression,can rapidly and accurately analyze the fatty acid composition of vegetable oil.Linjiang Pang Hui Chen Liqing Yin Jiyu Cheng Jiande Jin Honghui Zhao Zhihao Liu Longlong Dong Huichun Yu Xinghua Lu 2022Food Quality and Safety2022,6,4:0
19Dispatching Fuel-cell Hybrid Electric Vehicles Toward Transportation and Energy Systems Integration显示文摘With the increasing integration of traditional elec-tric vehicles(EVs),the ensuing congestion and overloading issues have threatened the reliability of power grid operations.Hydrogen has been advocated as a promising energy carrier to achieve low-carbon transportation and energy(trans-energy)systems,which can support the popularization of fuel-cell hybrid EVs(FCHEVs)while enhancing the flexibility of power grids.In this paper,we propose an optimal scheduling framework for trans-energy systems that evaluates the merits of the hydrogen supply chain from water electrolysis,compressed storage and transportation to FCHEV utilization.A detailed FCHEV model is established,and mileage is modeled as a function of the stored electricity and hydrogen mass.A stochastic programming-based scheduling model is formulated,which minimizes the total cost of unit commitment and the hydrogen supply chain.The Dijkstra algorithm is adopted to search the shortest path for hydrogen transportation.Case studies demonstrate that FCHEVs can reduce the operational costs of tran-energy systems and facilitate the accommodation of renewable energy when compared to traditional EVs.Index Terms-Fuel-cell hybrid electric vehicle,hydrogen,mileage model,shortest path search,trans-energy systems.Dejie Zhao Ming Zhou Jianxiao Wang Tiance Zhang Gengyin Li Honghui Zhang 2023CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2023,9,4:0
20Rare inherited missense variants of POGZ associate with autism risk and disrupt neuronal development显示文摘Excess de novo likely gene-disruptive and missense variants within dozens of genes have been identified in autism spectrum disorder(ASD)and other neurodevelopmental disorders.However,many rare inherited missense variants of these high-risk genes have not been thoroughly evaluated.In this study,we analyzed the rare missense variant burden of POGZ in a large cohort of ASD patients from the Autism Clinical and Genetic Resources in China(ACGC)and further dissected the functional effect of diseaseassociated missense variants on neuronal development.Our results showed a significant burden of rare missense variants in ASD patients compared to the control population(P=4.6×10-5,OR=3.96),and missense variants in ASD patients showed more severe predicted functional outcomes than those in controls.Furthermore,by leveraging published large-scale sequencing data of neurodevelopmental disorders(NDDs)and sporadic case reports,we identified 8 de novo missense variants of POGZ in NDD patients.Functional analysis revealed that two inherited,but not de novo,missense variants influenced the cellular localization of POGZ and failed to rescue the defects in neurite and dendritic spine development caused by Pogz knockdown in cultured mouse primary cortical neurons.Significantly,L1CAM,an autism candidate risk gene,is differentially expressed in POGZ deficient cell lines.Reduced expression of L1cam was able to partially rescue the neurite length defects caused by Pogz knockdown.Our study showed the important roles of rare inherited missense variants of POGZ in ASD risk and neuronal development and identified the potential downstream targets of POGZ,which are important for further molecular mechanism studies.Wenjing Zhao Jieqiong Tan Tengfei Zhu Jianjun Ou Ying Li Lu Shen Huidan Wu Lin Han Yanling Liu Xiangbin Jia Ting Bai Honghui Li Xiaoyan Ke Jingping Zhao Xiaobing Zou Zhengmao Hu Hui Guo Kun Xia 2019Journal of Genetics and Genomics2019,46,5:0
