| 2 | Improving the accuracy of GRACE Earth's gravitational field using the combination of different inclinations显示文摘In this paper, the GRACE Earth’s gravitational eld complete up to degree and order 120 is recovered based on the combination of di erent inclinations using the energy conservation principle. The results show that because di erent inclinations of satellite are sensitive to the geopotential coe cients with di erent degrees l and orders m, the design of GRACE exploiting 89° inclination can e ectively improve the accuracy of geopotential zonal harmonic coe cients. However, it is less sensitive to the geopotential tesseral harmonic coef- cients. Accordingly, the second group of GRACE exploiting lower inclination is required to determine high-accurately the geopotential tesseral harmonic coe cients and cover the shortage of the single group of GRACE exploiting 89o inclination. Two groups of GRACE individually exploiting 89° + (82°–84°) inclinations are the optimal combination of the Earth’s gravitational eld recovery complete up to degree and order 120. | 3 | Sea level variations in the South China Sea inferred from satellite gravity,altimetry,and oceanographic data显示文摘Sea level variations(SLVs) can be divided into two major components:the steric SLV and the mass-induced SLV.These two components of SLV in the South China Sea(SCS) are studied by using satellite altimetry,GRACE(Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment) satellite gravity,and oceanographic data on annual and inter-annual timescales.On the annual timescale,the geographic distribution of mass-induced SLV's amplitude jointly estimated from altimetry and the ECCO(Estimation of the Circulation and Climate of the Ocean) model agrees very well with that from GRACE.GRACE observes obvious seasonal mass-induced SLV in the SCS with annual amplitude of 2.7±0.4 cm,which is consistent with the annual amplitude of 2.7±0.3 cm estimated from the steric-corrected altimetry.On the inter-annual timescales,the mean SLV in the SCS shows a large oscillation,which is mainly caused by the steric effect.The trend of mean SLV inferred from altimetry in the SCS is 5.5±0.7 mm/yr for the period of 1993-2009,which is significantly higher than the global sea level rise rate of 3.3±0.4 mm/yr in the same period.There is no obvious trend signal in the mass-induced SLV detected from GRACE that indicates the water exchange between the SCS and its adjacent seas and land is in balance within the study period. | FENG Wei 1,2,ZHONG Min 1,3 & XU HouZe 1,3 1 State Key Laboratory of Geodesy and Earth’s Dynamics,Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Wuhan 430077,China 2 Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences,Beijing 100049,China 3 Institute of Geophysics,Huazhong University of Science and Technology,Wuhan 430074,China | 2012 | Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,10: | 15 |
| 4 | Progress in satellite gravity recovery from implemented CHAMP,GRACE and GOCE and future GRACE Follow-On missions显示文摘Firstly,the Earth's gravitational field from the past Challenging Minisatellite Payload(CHAMP) mission is determined using the energy conservation principle,the combined error model of the cumulative geoid height influenced by three instrument errors from the current Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment(GRACE) and future GRACE Follow-On missions is established based on the semi-analytical method,and the Earth's gravitational field from the executed Gravity Field and Steady-State Ocean Circulation Explorer(GOCE) mission is recovered by the space-time-wise approach.Secondly,the cumulative geoid height errors are 1.727 × 10^(-1) m,1.839 × 10 ^(-1) m and 9.025 × 10^(-2) m at degrees 70,120 and 250 from the implemented three-stage satellite gravity missions consisting of CHAMP,GRACE and GOCE,which preferably accord with those from the existing earth gravity field models involving EIGEN-CHAMP03 S,EIGEN-GRACE02 S and GO_CONS_GCF_2_DIR_R1.The cumulative geoid height error is 6.847 × 10^(-2) m at degree 250 from the future GRACE Follow-On mission.Finally,the complementarity among the four-stage satellite gravity missions including CHAMP,GRACE,GOCE and GRACE Follow-On is demonstrated contrastively. | Zheng Wei Xu Houze | 2015 | Geodesy and Geodynamics2015,6,4: | 8 |

| 7 | Check of free oscillation signal with SG data显示文摘The observation of the Earth’s free oscillation is an important way to study the Earth’s inner structure and geophysical parameters. Many geophysicists have investigated the Earth’s normal modes with strainmeters and spring gravimeters. Since the superconducting gravimeters appeared, people have gained a new kind of more stable instruments to detect the normal modes. The measurement for the Earth’s free oscillation with the superconducting gravimeters is one of the main goals of the Global Geodynamics Project. In this note, we have investigated the Earth’s normal modes excited by Peru Ms 7.9 Earthquake on June 23, 2001 with the superconducting gravimeter C032 at the Wuhan station. After having completed the subtraction of gravity tides with the 20th order polynomial fitting, and the correction for pressure and the analysis of the noise spectrum of the superconducting gravimeter, we accurately observed all base normal modes from 0S0 to 0S32 and the splittings of 0S2 and 0S3. | 8 | Detection of spheriodal free oscillation excited by Peru 8.2 M_(s) earthquake with five international superconducting gravimeter data显示文摘In this paper, authors obtain the spectral peaks of the earth free oscillation and check all normal modes from 0S0 to 0S48 accurately, with the Fourier analysis and the maximum entropy spectrum method dealing jointly with six groups of the observational residual data from five international superconducting gravimeter stations. By comparing the observational results in this paper with three former groups of observations or models, authors notice an extra discrepancy between two observational 0S2 modes excited separately by Peru earthquake and Alaska earthquake, which probably mirrors the anisotropy of the Earth's inner core. | 10 | Integrated radiative and evaporative cooling beyond daytime passive cooling power limit显示文摘Radiative cooling technologies can passively gain lower temperature than that of ambient surroundings without consuming electricity,which has emerged as potential alternatives to traditional cooling methods.However,the limitations in daytime radiation intensity with a net cooling power of less than 150 W·m^(−2) have hindered progress toward commercial practicality.Here,we report an integrated radiative and evaporative chiller(IREC)based on polyacrylamide hydrogels combined with an upper layer of breathable poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-trifluoroethylene)fibers,which achieves a record high practical average daytime cooling power of 710 W·m^(−2).The breathable fiber layer has an average emissivity of over 76%in the atmospheric window,while reflecting 90%of visible light.This IREC possesses effective daytime radiative cooling while simultaneously ensuring evaporative cooling capability,enhancing daytime passive cooling effectively.As a result,IREC presents the practicability for both personal cooling managements and industrial auxiliary cooling applications.An IREC-based patch can assist in cooling human body by 13℃ low for a long term and biocompatible use,and IREC can maintain the temperature of industrial storage facilities such as oil tanks at room temperature even under strong sunlight irradiation.This work delivers the highest performance daytime passive cooling by simultaneous infrared radiation and water evaporation,and provides a new perspective for developing highly efficient,scalable,and affordable passive cooling strategy. | Houze Yao Huhu Cheng Qihua Liao Xuanzhang Hao Kaixuan Zhu Yajie Hu Liangti Qu | 2023 | Nano Research Energy2023,2,2: | 2 |
| 11 | Earth Gravity Field Recovered from CHAMP Science Orbit and Accelerometer Data显示文摘The earth gravity field model CDS01S of degree and order 36 has been recovered from the post processed Science Orbits and on-board accelerometer data of GFZ’s CHAMP satellite. The model resolves the geoid with an accuracy of better than 4 cm at a resolution of 700 km half-wavelength. By using the degree difference variances of geopotential coefficients to compare the model CDS01S with EIGEN3P, EIGEN1S and EGM96, the result indicates that the coefficients of CDS01S are most close to those of EIGEN3P.
