1Catalytic combustion of VOCs on Pt/CuMnCe and Pt/CeY honeycomb monolithic catalysts显示文摘The metal oxides CuMnCe and CeY washcoats on cordierite were prepared using an impregnation method, and then used as support for the active Pt component to prepare the Pt/CuMnCe and Pt/CeY monolithic catalysts for the deep oxidation of VOCs. In comparison with the Pt/CeY, CuMnCe, and CeY monolithic catalysts, the Pt/CuMnCe monolithic catalyst shows an excellent performance for toluene,ethyl acetate,and n-hexane oxidation and the T_(90%) is low to 216, 200 and 260 ℃,respectively. 3Lignin biosynthesis by suppression of two O-methyl-transferases显示文摘Caffeic acid O-methyltransferase (COMT) and caffeoyl-CoA-3-O-methyltransferase (CCoAOMT) genes encode two methyltransferases at different substrate levels in lignin biosynthesis. We constructed two single antisense expression vectors containing the cDNA of COMT or CCoAOMT genes and one dual antisense expression vector containing cDNAs of both OMTs genes. The antisense constructs were transferred into tobacco mediated by Agrobac-terium tumefacience. PCR-Southern analysis indicated that antisense cDNAs had been integrated into the genome of the transgenic tobacco. The antisense genes were also expressed at transcriptional level displayed by Northern dot analysis. Klason lignin assay of 3-month-old transgenic tobaccos showed that repression in COMT or CCoAOMT alone could result in reduction of lignin content, more reduction was caused by suppression in CCoAOMT than in COMT. 4Comparative Study of Trajectory Tracking Control for Automated Vehicles via Model Predictive Control and Robust H-infinity State Feedback Control显示文摘A comparative study of model predictive control(MPC)schemes and robust Hstate feedback control(RSC)method for trajectory tracking is proposed in this paper.The main objective of this paper is to compare MPC and RSC controllers’performance in tracking predefined trajectory under different scenarios.MPC controller is designed based on the simple longitudinal-yaw-lateral motions of a single-track vehicle with a linear tire,which is an approximation of the more realistic model of a vehicle with double-track motion with a non-linear tire mode.RSC is designed on the basis of the same method as adopted for the MPC controller to achieve a fair comparison.Then,three test cases are built in CarSim-Simulink joint platform.Specifically,the verification test is used to test the tracking accuracy of MPC and RSC controller under well road conditions.Besides,the double lane change test with low road adhesion is designed to find the maximum velocity that both controllers can carry out while guaranteeing stability.Furthermore,an extreme curve test is built where the road adhesion changes suddenly,in order to test the performance of both controllers under extreme conditions.Finally,the advantages and disadvantages of MPC and RSC under different scenarios are also discussed.Kai Yang Xiaolin Tang Yechen Qin Yanjun Huang Hong Wang Huayan Pu 2021Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2021,34,4:6
5Hydrothermal-treated Pt/Al_(2)O_(3) as an excellent catalyst for toluene total oxidation显示文摘The preparation of highly active supported noble metal catalysts with a low noble metal loading has always been the ultimate goal of researchers working on catalysis.Hydrothermally treated Pt/Al_(2)O_(3)(Pt/Al_(2)O_(3)-H)exhibits better catalytic activity than that(Pt/Al_(2)O_(3)-C)treated via the conventional calcination approach.At the high space velocity of100,000 m L/(g·hr),the temperature that correspond to 50%toluene conversion(T50)of Pt/Al_(2)O_(3)-H is 115℃ lower than that of Pt/Al_(2)O_(3)-C,and the turnover frequency(TOF)value can reach 0.0756 sec-1.The mechanism by which the hydrothermal approach enhances Pt/Al_(2)O_(3) activity has been investigated.The structure associated with the high catalytic activity of Pt nanoparticles(NPs)can be retained via hydrothermal treatment.Furthermore,the support is transformed to AlO(OH)with numerous surface hydroxyl groups,which in turn can facilitate the adsorption of toluene.And the synergistic effects of Pt NPs and AlO(OH)increases the contents of Pt in oxidation state and active oxygen,which are beneficial for toluene oxidation.Xiao Chen Yong Wang Jianyu Li Zhongheng Hu Ying Zhou Huayan Liu Hanfeng Lu 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,6:1
6SALL4 maintains self-renewal of porcine pluripotent stem cells through downregulation of OTX2显示文摘Sall4 as one of the spalt family members contains several alternative splicing variants, which are differentially expressed and has a key role in maintaining pluripotent stem cells. However, the molecular features and function of SALL4 have not been well elucidated in porcine induced pluripotent stem cells(piPSCs). In this study, we identi?ed SALL4 splice variants and found two SALL4 splicing variants through analysis of the porcine transcriptome data derived from piPSCs. SALL4 A was only detected in piPSCs but SALL4 B was globally expressed in porcine tissues and piPSCs. The level of SALL4 B was signi?cantly reduced when piPSCs differentiation occurred, however, the expression of SALL4 A was not affected, indicating that SALL4 B may be essential for the maintenance of piPSCs self-renewal. Overexpression of SALL4 A and SALL4 B in PEF cells could signi?cantly stimulated expression of endogenous pluripotent genes,when SALL4 B signi?cantly promoted OCT4 expression.Conversely, SALL4 A signi?cantly promoted KLF4 expression. Additionally, both SALL4 A and SALL4 B could repress OTX2 promoter activity in a dose-dependent manner. Conversely, OTX2 also negatively regulated SALL4 expression. 8Prokaryotic Expression of Mouse Sox2 Gene and Preparation of Its Polyclonal Antibody显示文摘Sox2, one of genes which express in embryonic stem (ES) cells, plays an important role in self renewal of ES cells, and is used to make induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells. In this study, we subcloned mouse (Mus muscules) full-length Sox2 cDNA and inserted Sox2 into pET-41a expression vector. Then the recombinant vector was transformed into Escherichia coli BL21 (DE3) cells to express Sox2 fusion protein. The expressed products were identified by Western blot using anti-GST antibody. The result indicated that the size of Sox2 fusion protein was in 61 kD. And the protein was recovered from the SDS-PAGE. And we used the sox2 fusion protein to prepare polyclonal antibody. The Dot blotting result showed that the anti-Sox2 antiserum had 1∶12,800 titers. 11Large-scale roll-to-roll printed,flexible and stable organic bulk heterojunction photodetector显示文摘A flexible and stable photodetector shows great potential applications in intelligent wearable devices,health monitoring,and biological sensing.The high-output fabrication of flexible and stable photodetector via the large-scale printing process would accelerate its commercialization.Herein,a high performance,flexible organic bulk heterojunction(BHJ)photodetector with good stability is designed and fabricated via a large-scale roll-to-roll(R2R)micro-gravure printing technique on polyethylene terephthalate(PET)or paper substrate,in which the organic BHJ active layer is structured with[6,6]-phenyl C_(61)butyric acid methyl ester(PCBM)and a donor-acceptor copolymer,i.e.,employing 4,8-bis(2-ethylhexylthiophene)benzo[1,2-b;3,4-b′]dithiophene(BDTT)as the donor unit and 5,8-bis(5-thiophen-2-yl)-6,7-difluoro-2,3-bis(4-ethylhexyloxy-1-mata-luorophenyl)quinoxaline(ffQx)as the acceptor unit(PBDTT-ffQx).The PBDTT-ffQx/PCBM BHJ photodetector shows a broad photoresponse in ultraviolet and visible light,a high detectivity(D^(*))value up to 6.19×10^(11)Jones,and an excellent Iphoto/Idark as high as 5.6×10^(2).It exhibits excellent flexibility and stability.Its performance parameters could maintain over 80%of original values after bending 10,000 cycles or exposing in ambient condition(humidity~50%,temperature~30℃)for 50 days without any encapsulation.More importantly,the R2R micro-gravure printed PBDTT-ffQx/PCBM BHJ active layer is great homogeneous,and the responsivity(R)values of photodetector arrays show a very narrow distribution.The research results show that a high-performance PBDTT-ffQx/PCBM BHJ photodetector with well reliability and reproducibility can be fabricated via the R2R micro-gravure printing technique,which provides an available strategy for fabricating large-area and flexible electronic and optoelectronic devices.Sichao Tong Jun Yuan Chujun Zhang Chunhua Wang Baoxing Liu Jianqiang Shen Huayan Xia Yingping Zou Haipeng Xie Jia Sun Si Xiao Jun He Yongli Gao Junliang Yang 2018npj Flexible Electronics2018,2,1:0
12CHDbase:A Comprehensive Knowledgebase for Congenital Heart Disease-related Genes and Clinical Manifestations显示文摘Congenital heart disease(CHD)is one of the most common causes of major birth defects,with a prevalence of 1%.Although an increasing number of studies have reported the etiology of CHD,the findings scattered throughout the literature are difficult to retrieve and utilize in research and clinical practice.We therefore developed CHDbase,an evidence-based knowledgebase of CHD-related genes and clinical manifestations manually curated from 1114 publications,linking 1124 susceptibility genes and 3591 variations to more than 300 CHD types and related syndromes.Metadata such as the information of each publication and the selected population and samples,the strategy of studies,and the major findings of studies were integrated with each item of the research record.We also integrated functional annotations through parsing50 databases/tools to facilitate the interpretation of these genes and variations in disease pathogenicity.We further prioritized the significance of these CHD-related genes with a gene interaction network approach and extracted a core CHD sub-network with 163 genes.The clear genetic landscape of CHD enables the phenotype classification based on the shared genetic origin.Overall,CHDbase provides a comprehensive and freely available resource to study CHD susceptibilities,supporting a wide range of users in the scientific and medical communities.CHDbase is accessible at http://gffzzcb26324586344ca8h5qvo69f9pw0k6990.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn.Wei-Zhen Zhou Wenke Li Huayan Shen Ruby W.Wang Wen Chen Yujing Zhang Qingyi Zeng Hao Wang Meng Yuan Ziyi Zeng Jinhui Cui Chuan-Yun Li Fred Y.Ye Zhou Zhou 2023Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2023,21,1:0

14Structural Isomerization in Cu(I)Clusters:Tracing the Cu Thermal Migration Paths and Unveiling the Structure-Dependent Photoluminescence显示文摘Revealing structural isomerization in metal clusters would bridge a huge structural gap between small molecular isomerization and solid–solid phase transformation.However,genuine structural isomerism in metal clusters is still rare.In this work,we report the first example of structural isomerismin Cu clusters.By utilizing the coordination flexibility of alkyne to enable the migration of partial Cu atoms in Cu metal cores,two Cu_(15)cluster complexes(Cu_(15)-a and Cu_(15)-c)possessing identical composition but different metal core structures have been successfully isolated.Interestingly,although the structure of Cu_(15)-a can be retained in CH_(2)C_(l2)solution below 27°C,it will gradually change to give an intermediate state,Cu_(15)-b,as the temperature rises(at about 31°C)before it eventually transforms into Cu_(15)-c(at 40∼65°C).Significantly,atomically precise Cu_(15)-b clearly provides footprints for tracing the thermal migration process of Cu atoms during the thermal transformation from Cu_(15)-a to Cu_(15)-c.In addition,Cu_(15)-a and Cu_(15)-c exhibit diverse crystallization-induced emission enhancement phenomena.Crystalline Cu_(15)-c displays redshifted photoluminescence(820 nm)compared with Cu_(15)-a(726 nm)due to the shorter mean Cu···Cu distance in Cu_(15)-c.Notwithstanding,crystalline Cu_(15)-a exhibits much more intense photoluminescence at room temperature than that in Cu_(15)-c,which might be attributed to the stronger intermolecular C–H⋯πinteractions in Cu_(15)-a.These results indicate that cluster isomerism provides valuable opportunities for insight into the structure–property relationships and understanding the complex evolution of phase transformation in nanometallic solids.Xi Fan Furong Yuan Jiaqi Wang Zhibin Cheng Shengchang Xiang Huayan Yang Zhangjing Zhang 2023CCS Chemistry2023,5,2:0

16The Characteristics of the Precursory Anomaly prior to the Yiliang Earthquakes,Yunnan,China on September 7,2012显示文摘An analysis was carried out on the seismic activity and the precursory anomaly prior to the earthquakes in Yiliang on September 7,2012. The characteristics of the seismic activity,the dynamic changes of underground fluid and deformation were investigated. As a result of the investigation,we found that: before the earthquake,the seismicity level of M4. 0earthquakes had enhanced,and seismic gap of a small earthquake had appeared; the precursory anomalies emerged about 1 year before the earthquake; there was phenomenon of short-term anomaly migrating from the periphery to the epicenter area; the imminent anomaly appeared in a relatively concentrated period of time, a week before the earthquake. 18A Chromosome-level Genome Assembly of Wild Castor Provides New Insights into Its Adaptive Evolution in Tropical Desert显示文摘Wild castor grows in the high-altitude tropical desert of the African Plateau,a region known for high ultraviolet radiation,strong light,and extremely dry condition.To investigate the potential genetic basis of adaptation to both highland and tropical deserts,we generated a chromosome-level genome sequence assembly of the wild castor accession WT05,with a genome size of 316 Mb,a scaffold N50 of 31.93 Mb,and a contig N50 of 8.96 Mb,respectively.Compared with cultivated castor and other Euphorbiaceae species,the wild castor exhibits positive selection and gene family expansion for genes involved in DNA repair,photosynthesis,and abiotic stress responses.Genetic variations associated with positive selection were identified in several key genes,such as LIG1,DDB2,and RECG1,involved in nucleotide excision repair.Moreover,a study of genomic diversity among wild and cultivated accessions revealed genomic regions containing selection signatures associated with the adaptation to extreme environments.The identification of the genes and alleles with selection signatures provides insights into the genetic mechanisms underlying the adaptation of wild castor to the high-altitude tropical desert and would facilitate direct improvement of modern castor varieties.Jianjun Lu Cheng Pan Wei Fan Wanfei Liu Huayan Zhao Donghai Li Sen Wang Lianlian Hu Bing He Kun Qian Rui Qin Jue Ruan Qiang Lin Shiyou Lü Peng Cui 2022Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2022,20,1:0
19Challenges and improvement in management of neonates born to mothers with COVID-19 in China显示文摘Objective:China was the first country suffering from the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic and one of the countries with stringent mother-neonate isolation measure implemented.Now increasing evidence suggests that coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)should not be taken as an indication for formula feeding or isolation of the infant from the mother.Methods:We conducted a retrospective cohort study in 44 hospitals from 14 provinces in China to investigate the management of neonates whose mothers have confirmed or suspected COVID-19.In addition,65 members of Chinese Neonatologist Association(CNA)were invited to give their comments and suggestions on the clinical management guidelines for high-risk neonates.Results:There were 121 neonates born to 118 mothers suspected with COVID-19 including 42 mothers with SARS-CoV-2 positive results and 76 mothers with SARS-CoV-2 negative results.All neonates were born by caesarean section,isolated from their mothers immediately after birth and were formula-fed.Five neonates were positive for SARSCoV-2 at initial testing between 36 and 46 h after birth.Regarding the confusion on the clinical management guidelines,58.78%of the newborns were put into isolation,32.22%were subject to PCR tests,and 5.16%and 2.75%received breastfeeding and vaccination,respectively.Conclusion:The clinical symptoms of neonates born to mothers with confirmed SARS-CoV-2 were mild,though five neonates might have been infected in utero or during delivery.Given the favorable outcomes of neonates born to COVID-confirmed mothers,full isolation may not be warranted.Rather,separation of the mother and her newborn should be assessed on a case-by-case basis,considering local facilities and risk factors for adverse outcomes,such as prematurity and fetal distress.Jie Yang Zhuxiao Ren Lingkong Zeng Shiwen Xia Lin Wang Jiayu Miao Zhe Zhao Chuanzhong Yang Xiuyong Cheng Huayan Zhang Yuanfang Zhu Li Liu Xirong Gao Bin Yi Zhenlang Lin Wei Liu Xiaoyu Zhou Benqing Wu Ling Chen Zhankui Li Xuefeng Zhang Wei Lu Lianhong Zhang Xiao Chen Xiaoyun Zhong Falin Xu Jinhui Wu Yong Ji Jiahua Pan Yanxiang Chen Carine Ronsmans Zhichun Feng 2022Frigid Zone Medicine2022,2,2:0
20Tea-derived carbon materials as anode for high-performance sodium ion batteries显示文摘Sodium-ion batteries(SIB) have attracted widespread attention in large-scale energy storage fields owing to the abundant reserve in the earth and similar properties of sodium to lithium. Biomass-based carbon materials with low-cost, controllable structure, simple processing technology, and environmental friendliness tick almost all the right boxes as one of the promising anode materials for SIB. Herein, we present a simple novel strategy involving tea tomenta biomass-derived carbon anode with enhanced interlayer carbon distance(0.44 nm) and high performance, which is constructed by N,P co-doped hard carbon(Tea-1100-NP) derived from tea tomenta. The prepared Tea-1100-NP composite could deliver a high reversible capacity(326.1 m Ah/g at 28 m A/g), high initial coulombic efficiency(ICE = 90% at 28 m A/g),stable cycle life(262.4 m Ah/g at 280 m A/g for 100 cycles), and superior rate performance(224.5 m Ah/g at 1400 m A/g). Experimental results show that the excellent electrochemical performance of Tea-1100-NP due to the high number of active N,P-containing groups, and disordered amorphous structures provide ample active sites and increase the conductivity, meanwhile, large amounts of microporous shorten the Na+diffusion distance as well as quicken ion transport.
