Polysaccharides from Angelica sinensis alleviate neuronal cell injury caused by oxidative stress显示文摘Angelica sinensis has antioxidative and neuroprotective effects. In the present study, we aimed to determine the neuroprotective effect of polysaccharides isolated from Angelica sinensis. In a preliminary experiment, Angelica sinensis polysaccharides not only protected PC12 neuronal cells from H 2 O 2-induced cytotoxicity, but also reduced apoptosis and intracellular reactive oxygen species levels, and increased the mitochondrial membrane potential induced by H 2 O 2 treatment. In a rat model of local cerebral ischemia, we further demonstrated that Angelica sinensis polysaccharides enhanced the antioxidant activity in cerebral cortical neurons, increased the number of microvessels, and improved blood flow after ischemia. Our findings highlight the protective role of polysaccharides isolated from Angelica sinensis against nerve cell injury and impairment caused by oxidative stress.Tao Lei Haifeng Li Zhen Fang Junbin Lin Shanshan Wang Lingyun Xiao Fan Yang Xin Liu Junjian Zhang Zebo Huang Weijing Liao 2014Neural Regeneration Research2014,9,3:17
Fault self-repair strategy based on evolvable hardware and reparation balance technology显示文摘In the face of harsh natural environment applications such as earth-orbiting and deep space satellites, underwater sea vehicles, strong electromagnetic interference and temperature stress, the circuits faults appear easily. Circuit faults will inevitably lead to serious losses of availability or impeded mission success without self-repair over the mission duration. Traditional fault-repair methods based on redundant fault-tolerant technique are straightforward to implement, yet their area, power and weight cost can be excessive. Moreover they utilize all plug-in or component level circuits to realize redundant backup, such that their applicability is limited. Hence, a novel selfrepair technology based on evolvable hardware(EHW) and reparation balance technology(RBT) is proposed. Its cost is low, and fault self-repair of various circuits and devices can be realized through dynamic configuration. Making full use of the fault signals, correcting circuit can be found through EHW technique to realize the balance and compensation of the fault output-signals. In this paper, the self-repair model was analyzed which based on EHW and RBT technique, the specific self-repair strategy was studied, the corresponding self-repair circuit fault system was designed, and the typical faults were simulated and analyzed which combined with the actual electronic devices. Simulation results demonstrated that the proposed fault self-repair strategy was feasible. Compared to traditional techniques, fault self-repair based on EHW consumes fewer hardware resources, and the scope of fault self-repair was expanded significantly.Zhang Junbin Cai Jinyan Meng Yafeng Meng Tianzhen 2014Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2014,27,5:10
Rational development of a human antibody cocktail that deploys multiple functions to confer Pan-SARS-CoVs protection显示文摘Structural principles underlying the composition and synergistic mechanisms of protective monoclonal antibody cocktails are poorly defined. Here,we exploited antibody cooperativity to develop a therapeutic antibody cocktail against SARS-CoV-2.On the basis of our previously identified humanized cross-neutralizing antibody H014,we systematically an a lyzed a fully human n aive antibody library and rationally identified a potent neutralizing antibody partner,P17,which confers effective protection in animal model.Cryo-EM studies dissected the nature of the P17 epitope, which is SARS-CoV-2 specific and distinctly different from that of HOI4.High-resolution structure of the SARS-CoV-2 spike in complex with HOM and P17,together with functional investigations revealed that in a two-antibody cocktail, synergistic neutralization was achieved by S1 shielding and conformational locking, thereby blocking receptor attachment and viral membrane fusion, conferring high potency as well as robustness against viral mutation escape.Furthermore, cluster analysis identified a hypothetical 3rd antibody partner for further reinforcing the cocktail as pan-SARS-CoVs therapeutics.Hangping Yao Yao Sun Yong-Qiang Deng Nan Wang Yongcong Tan Na-Na Zhang Xiao-Feng Li Chao Kong Yan-Peng Xuc Qi Chen Tian-Shu Cao Hui Zhao Xintian Yan Lei Cao Zhe Lv Dandan Zhu Rui Feng Nanping Wu Wenhai Zhang Yuhao Hu Keda Chen Rong-Rong Zhang Qingyu Lv Shihui Sun Yunhua Zhou Run Yan Guan Yang Xinglu Chanjuan Liu Xiangyun Lu Linfang Cheng Hongying Qiu Xing-Yao Huang Tianhao Weng Danrong Shi Weidong Jiang Junbin Shao Lei Wang Jie Zhang Tao Jiang Guojun Lang Cheng-Feng Qinc Lanjuan Li Xiangxi Wang 2021Cell Research2021,31,1:5
Comparison of nonhuman primates identified the suitable model for COVID-19显示文摘Identification of a suitable nonhuman primate(NHP)model of COVID-19 remains challenging. Here,we characterized severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)infection in three NHP species:Old World monkeys Macaca mulatta(M.mulatta)and Macaca fascicularis(M.fascicularis)and New World monkey Callithrix jacchus(C.jacchus).Infected M.mulatta and M.fascicularis showed abnormal chest radiographs,an increased body temperature and a decreased body weight.Viral genomes were detected in swab and blood samples from all animals.Viral load was detected in the pulmonary tissues of M.mulatta and M.fascicularis but not C.jacchus.Furthermore,among the three animal species,M.mulatta showed the strongest response to SARS-CoV-2,including increased inflammatory cytokine expression and pathological changes in the pulmonary tissues.Collectively, these data revealed the different susceptibilities of Old World and New World monkeys to SARS-CoV-2 and identified M.mulatta as the most suitable for modeling COVID-19.Shuaiyao Lu Yuan Zhao Wenhai Yu Yun Yang Jiahong Gao Junbin Wang Dexuan Kuang Mengli Yang Jing Yang Chunxia Ma Jingwen Xu Xingli Qian Haiyan Li Siwen Zhao Jingmei Li Haixuan Wang Haiting Long Jingxian Zhou Fangyu Luo Kaiyun Ding Daoju Wu Yong Zhang Yinliang Dong Yuqin Liu Yinqiu Zheng Xiaochen Lin Li Jiao Huanying Zheng Qing Dai Qiangming Sun Yunzhang Hu Changwen Ke Hongqi Liu Xiaozhong Peng 2020Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1:5
Monolithic homogeneous integrated miniaturized triboelectric nanogenerator with an inner air cavity for energy harvesting显示文摘To realize the high-efficiency acquisition of environmental mechanical energy, traditional triboelectric nanogenerators(TENGs)based on contact-separation consist of two separate triboelectric layers.Their large contact-separation gap increases the overall volume of the device, making it difficult to realize miniaturization and flexibility. This work, therefore, presents a fully enclosed all-in-one-shaped flexible TENG(FEAST)with an air cavity using rubber mixing and high-temperature vulcanization. The air pressure inside the enclosed air cavity facilitates effective contact-separation of the FEAST.The homogeneous integration between the triboelectric layer and the electrode layer enhances structural firmness without using extra spacer materials. The developed FEAST presents excellent mechanical durability even after 10000 cycles.By increasing the active contact area between the triboelectric materials,a maximum peak-peak output voltage, current, and power density of 130 V,1.1μA,and277 m W/m^(2),respectively,were obtained with an effective stress area of 1 cm2.Moreover,the fully enclosed structure ensures that the output performance is not affected by the external environment. The FEAST was fixed onto the sole of a shoe to demonstrate its applicability in harvesting mechanical energy from human motions.Overall, the developed method provides a simple approach for optimizing the structure of TENGs and is compatible with large-scale manufacturing.HOU XiaoJuan ZHANG ShengNan YU JunBin YANG ChangJun ZHANG Ning HE Jian CHOU XiuJian 2021Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,3:3
Synergistic piezoelectricity enhanced BaTiO_(3)/polyacrylonitrile elastomer-based highly sensitive pressure sensor for intelligent sensing and posture recognition applications显示文摘Designing stretchable and skin-conformal self-powered sensors for intelligent sensing and posture recognition is challenging. Here, based on a multi-force mixing and vulcanization process,as well as synergistically piezoelectricity of BaTiO_(3)and polyacrylonitrile,an all-in-one,stretchable,and self-powered elastomer-based piezo-pressure sensor(ASPS)with high sensitivity is reported. The ASPS presents excellent sensitivity(0.93 V/104 Pa of voltage and 4.92 nA/104 Pa of current at a pressure of 10-200 kPa)and high durability(over 10,000 cycles). Moreover, the ASPS exhibits a wide measurement range, good linearity, rapid response time, and stable frequency response. All components were fabricated using silicone, affording satisfactory skinconformality for sensing postures.Through cooperation with a homemade circuit and artificial intelligence algorithm,an information processing strategy was proposed to realize intelligent sensing and recognition. The home-made circuit achieves the acquisition and wireless transmission of ASPS signals(transmission distance up to 50 m),and the algorithm realizes the classification and identification of ASPS signals(accuracy up to 99.5%).This study proposes not only a novel fabrication method for developing self-powered sensors, but also a new information processing strategy for intelligent sensing and recognition, which offers significant application potential in human-machine interaction, physiological analysis, and medical research.Junbin Yu Shuai Xian Zhenpeng Zhang Xiaojuan Hou Jian He Jiliang Mu Wenping Geng Xiaojun Qiao Le Zhang Xiujian Chou 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:2
Histones released by NETosis enhance the infectivity of SARS-CoV-2 by bridging the spike protein subunit 2 and sialic acid on host cells显示文摘Neutrophil extracellular traps(NETs)can capture and kill viruses, such as influenza viruses, human immunodeficiency virus(HIV),and respiratory syncytial virus(RSV),thus contributing to host defense.Contrary to our expectation,we show here that the histones released by NETosis enhance the infectivity of SARS-CoV-2,as found by using live SARS-CoV-2 and two pseudovirus systems as well as a mouse model. The histone H3 or H4 selectively binds to subunit 2 of the spike(S)protein,as shown by a biochemical binding assay, surface plasmon resonance and binding energy calculation as well as the construction of a mutant S protein by replacing four acidic amino acids.Sialic acid on the host cell surface is the key molecule to which histones bridge subunit 2 of the S protein. Moreover, histones enhance cell-cell fusion. Finally, treatment with an inhibitor of NETosis, histone H3 or H4,or sialic acid notably affected the levels of sgRNA copies and the number of apoptotic cells in a mouse model. These findings suggest that SARS-CoV-2 could hijack histones from neutrophil NETosis to promote its host cell attachment and entry process and may be important in exploring pathogenesis and possible strategies to develop new effective therapies for COVID-19.Weiqi Hong Jingyun Yang Jun Zou Zhenfei Bi Cai He Hong Lei Xuemei He Xue Li Aqu Alu Wenyan Ren Zeng Wang Xiaohua Jiang Kunhong Zhong Guowen Jia Yun Yang Wenhai Yu Qing Huang Mengli Yang Yanan Zhou Yuan Zhao Dexuan Kuang Junbin Wang Haixuan Wang Siyuan Chen Min Luo Ziqi Zhang Tiangi Lu Li Chen Haiying Que Zhiyao He Qiu Sun Wei Wang Guobo Shen Guangwen Lu Zhiwei Zhao Li Yang Jinliang Yang Zhenling Wang Jiong Li Xiangrong Song Lunzhi Dai Chong Chen Jia Geng Maling Gou Lu Chen Haohao Dong Yong Peng Canhua Huang Zhiyong Qian Wei Cheng Changfa Fan Yuquan Wei Zhaoming Su Aiping Tong Shuaiyao Lu Xiaozhong Peng Xiawei Wei 2022Cellular & Molecular Immunology2022,19,5:2

Research on robust multi-period inventory inaccuracy based on RFID technology显示文摘Inventory inaccuracy has great influence on the supply chain performance and it has attracted much attention of large numbers of researchers. This paper mainly studies the robust multi-period inventory inaccuracy problem by attaching radio frequency identification(RFID) technology. In particular, the typical retailer-supplier flexible commitment(RSFC) problem is considered to cope with the uncertain environment. After modeling, robust optimization(RO) and the affinely adjustable robust counterpart(AARC) methodology are applied to solve the model. Finally, this paper uses a numerical example for the analysis of how RFID technology can be exploited in supply chain, and the effect of demand uncertainty on the systems. The results highlight the importance of inventory availability related rates and variable uncertainty in determining the profitability of RFID adoption, which can provide managerial guidelines to supply chain firms.Lei Quansheng Zhang Junbin 2015The Journal of China Universities of Posts and Telecommunications2015,22,5:1
Optimal Design of Rectification Circuit in Electronic Circuit Fault Self-repair Based on EHW and RBT显示文摘Reliability of traditional electronic circuit is improved mainly by redundant fault-tolerant technology with large hardware resource consumption and limited fault self-repair capability. In complicated environment, electronic circuit faults appear easily. If on-site immediate repair is not implemented, normal running of electronic system will be directly affected. In order to solve these problems, Evolvable hardware(EHW) technology is widely used. The conventional EHW has some bottlenecks. The optimal design of Rectification circuit(RTC) is further researched on the basis of the previously proposed fault self-repair based on EHW and Reparation balance technology(RBT). Fault sets are selected by fault danger degree and fault coverage rate. The optimal designed RTC can completely repair faults in the fault set. Simulation results prove that it has higher self-repair capability and less hardware resource.ZHANG Junbin CAI Jinyan MENG Yafeng 2018Chinese Journal of Electronics2018,27,1:1

CdS magic-size clusters exhibiting one sharp ultraviolet absorption singlet peaking at 361 nm显示文摘We report, for the first time, the synthesis of CdS magic-size clusters (MSCs) which exhibit a single sharp absorption peaking at ~ 361 nm,along with sharp band edge photoemission at ~ 377 nm and broad trap emission peaking at ~ 490 nm.These MSCs are produced in a singleensemble form without the contamination of conventional quantum dots (QDs) and/or other-bandgap clusters. They are denoted as MSC-361.We present the details of several controlled syntheses done in oleylamine (OLA),using C,d(NO3)2 or C,d(OAc)2 as a C,d source and thioacetamide (TAA) or elementary sulfur (S) as a S source.A high synthetic reproducibility of the reaction of Cd(NO3)2 and TAA to single-ensemble MSC-361 is achieved, the product of which is not contaminated by other bandgap clusters and/or QDs.In some cases, the reaction product exhibits an additional absorption peak at ~ 322 nm.We demonstrate that the two peaks,at 361 and 322 nm,do not evolve synchronously. Therefore, the 322 nm peak is not a higher order electronic transition of MSC-361,but due to the presence of another ensemble, namely MSC-322.The present study suggests that there is an outstanding need for the development of a physical model to narrow the knowledge gap regarding the electronic structure in these colloidal semiconductor CdS MSCs.Junbin Tang Juan Hui Meng Zhang Hongsong Fan Nelson Rowell Wen Huang Yingnan Jiang Xiaoqin Chen Kui Yu 2019Nano Research2019,12,6:1
Dyskinesia is Closely Associated with Synchronization of Theta Oscillatory Activity Between the Substantia Nigra Pars Reticulata and Motor Cortex in the Off L-dopa State in Rats显示文摘Excessive theta(θ)frequency oscillation and synchronization in the basal ganglia(BG)has been reported in elderly parkinsonian patients and animal models of levodopa(L-dopa)-induced dyskinesia(LID),particularly theθoscillation recorded during periods when L-dopa is withdrawn(the off L-dopa state). To gain insight into processes underlying this activity,we explored the relationship between primary motor cortex(M1)oscillatory activity and BG output in LID.We recorded local field potentials in the substantia nigra pars reticulata(SNr)and M1 of awake, inattentive resting rats before and after L-dopa priming in Sham control,Parkinson disease model, and LID model groups. We found that chronic L-dopa increasedθsynchronization and information flow between the SNr and M1 in off L-dopa state LID rats, with a SNr-to-M1 flow directionality.Compared with the on state,θoscillational activity(θsynchronization and informationflow)during the off state were more closely associated with abnormal involuntary movements. Our findings indicate thatθoscillation in M1 may be consequent to abnormal synchronous discharges in the BG and support the notion that M1θoscillation may participate in the induction of dyskinesia.Jiazhi Chen Qiang Wang Nanxiang Li Shujie Huang Min Li Junbin Cai Yuzheng Wang Huantao Wen Siyuan Lv Ning Wang Jinyan Wang Fei Luo Wangming Zhang 2021Neuroscience Bulletin2021,37,3:1

The phylogenetic relationship of the family Lutjanidae based on analyses of AFLP and mitochondrial 12S rRNA sequences显示文摘Fishes of the family Lutjanidae are commercially important in South China Sea. However, the phylogeny of Lutjanids is still unclear and there are many controversies over it. Herein, studies about the phylogeny of Lutjanids were performed based on Amplified Fragment Length Polymorphism (AFLP) analysis of genome DNA and sequence analysis of mitochondrial 12S rRNA gene, and 10 Lutjanidae species and 1 Lethrinidae species were employed. The topologies of minimum evolution (ME) trees based on the two analyses respectively were congruent except for positions of genera Pristipomoides and Caesio. The optimal substitution model TrN + G for DNA sequences of 12S rRNA genes in Lutjanids was obtained using MODELTEST 3.6 software and maximum likelihood (ML) analysis supports the topology displayed by the ME tree. The test of log-likelihood suggests that the use of molecular clock calibrations to estimate species divergence time appeared valid. Phylogenetic analyses using AFLP data and DNA sequences of mitochondrial 12S rRNA genes indicated the monophyly of Lutjanus genra. However, further studies are required to reveal the phylogenetic relationship among other genera. In addition, the results demonstrated that AFLP genetic marker was suitable for the phylogenetic analysis of Lutjanids.ZHANG Junbin LIU Xin 2006Chinese Science Bulletin2006,51,B12:1

Pathogenic analysis of coxsackievirus A10 in rhesus macaques显示文摘Coxsackievirus A10(CV-A10)is one of the etiological agents associated with hand, foot and mouth disease(HFMD)and also causes a variety of illnesses in humans, including pneumonia, and myocarditis.Different people, particularly young children, may have different immunological responses to infection.Current CV-A10 infection animal models provide only a rudimentary understanding of the pathogenesis and effects of this virus. The characteristics of CV-A10 infection, replication, and shedding in humans remain unknown. In this study, rhesus macaques were infected by CV-A10 via respiratory or digestive route to mimic the HFMD in humans. The clinical symptoms, viral shedding, inflammatory response and pathologic changes were investigated in acute infection(1–11 day post infection)and recovery period(12–180 day post infection). All infected rhesus macaques during acute infection showed obvious viremia and clinical symptoms which were comparable to those observed in humans.Substantial inflammatory pathological damages were observed in multi-organs,including the lung, heart, liver, and kidney.During the acute period, all rhesus macaques displayed clinical signs, viral shedding, normalization of serum cytokines, and increased serum neutralizing antibodies, whereas inflammatory factors caused some animals to develop severe hyperglycemia during the recovery period. In addition, there were no significant differences between respiratory and digestive tract infected animals.Overall, all data presented suggest that the rhesus macaques provide the first non-human primate animal model for investigating CV-A10 pathophysiology and assessing the development of potential human therapies.Suqin Duan Fengmei Yang Yanyan Li Yuan Zhao Li Shi Meng Qin Quan Liu Weihua Jin Junbin Wang Lixiong Chen Wei Zhang Yongjie Li Ying Zhang Jingjing Zhang Shaohui Ma Zhanlong He Qihan Li 2022Virologica Sinica2022,37,4:1

UWB radar target recognition based on time-domain bispectrum显示文摘Complex targets are irradiated by UWB radar, n ot only the mirror scattering echoes but also the multi-scattering interacting ec hoes are included in target echoes. These two echoes can not be distinguished by classical frequency spectrum and power spectrum. Time-domain bispectrum featur es of UWB radar signals that mingled with noise are analyzed, then processing th is kind of signal using the method of time-domain bispectrum is experimented. A t last, some UWB radar returns with different signal noise ratio are simulated u sing the method of time-domain bispectrum. Theoretical analysis and the results of simulation show that the method of extraction partial features of UWB radar targets based on time-domain bispectrum is good, and target classification and recognition can be implemented using those features.Liu Donghong Zhang Yongshun Chen Zhijie Cheng Junbin 2006Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2006,17,2:0
