1Terrestrial input and nutrient change reflected by sediment records of the Changjiang River Estuary in recent 80 years显示文摘A variety of environmental problems have been observed in the Changjiang River Estuary and adjacent coastal area, including eutrophication, harmful algal blooms(HABs), and hypoxia in recent decades. Application of sedimentary biogenic element indicators on the study of paleoenvironment can reconstruct environmental evolution history of waters. Two 210Pb-dated cores were collected from the Changjiang River Estuary(S3) and adjacent coastal area(Z13), and total organic carbon(TOC), total nitrogen(TN), biogenic silicon(BSi), total phosphorus(TP) and phosphorus(P) species were analyzed. Three stages of environmental changes are deduced by the nutrient sedimentary records. First, nutrient concentration increased rapidly since the 1950 s, which attributed to agriculture development and overused chemical fertilizers. Second, nutrient concentration kept high and primary production began to promote during the 1960 s to 1980 s, while diatom abundance and proportion began to decline since the 1970 s, accompanied by reduced 23 Si O- concentration and flux from the river. Third, due to several dams and bridges constructed, river runoff and coastal hydrodynamic conditions reduced to a certain extent since the 1990 s, which aggravated the unbalance in nutrient structure. 2Classification of estuaries in China based on eutrophication susceptibility to nutrient load显示文摘Recently, environmental pressures along coasts have increased substantially. Classification of estuaries according to their susceptibility to eutrophication nutrient load is a useful method to determine priority management objects and to enforce control measures. Using historical monitoring data from 2007 to 2012, from 65 estuaries, including 101 estuarine monitoring sections and 260 coastal monitoring stations, a nutrient-driven phytoplankton dynamic model was developed based on the relationship among phytoplankton biomass, Total Nitrogen(TN) load and physical features of estuaries. The ecological filter effect of estuaries was quantified by introducing conversion efficiency parameter values into the model. Markov Chain Monte Carlo algorithm of Bayesian inference was then employed to estimate parameters in the model. The developed model fitted well to the observed chlorophyll, primary production, grazing, and sinking rates. The analysis suggests that an estuary with Q/V(the ratio of river flow to estuarine volume) greater than 2.0 per year and ε(conversion efficiency ratio) less than 1.0 g C/g N can be classified as less susceptible to TN load, Q/V between 0.7 to 2.0 per year and ε between 1.0 to 3.0 g C/g N as moderately susceptible, and ε greater than 3.0 g C/g N as very susceptible. The estuaries with Q/V less than 0.7 per year vary greatly in their susceptibility. The estuaries with high and moderate susceptibility accounted for 67% of all the analyzed estuaries. 3A novel and smart automatic light-seeking flowerpot for monitoring flower growth environment显示文摘Although the flowerpot is widely used for indoor flowers,it cannot meet the needs of intelligent management during the uncared-for period.The objective of this study was to design a new microcontroller-based smart flowerpot.Its overall system was composed of three parts:information collection layer,automatic control layer and data transmission layer.Firstly,in the process of collecting information,the Laiyite criterion and the normalized weighted average algorithm were adopted to improve the accuracy of information collection.Secondly,for making precise control decisions,the fuzzy control was used to achieve automatic on-demand watering.Finally,the method for comparative analysis of regional light intensity was utilized to achieve light-seeking and light-supplementing.Experimental results showed that the smart flowerpot had strong anti-jamming performance for information collection,the relative soil moisture of flowers could be stably maintained near the optimum humidity(65%),and the light was well-distributed on the flower with the error angle of light-supplementing ranged from-3°to 3°.Xihai Zhang Dong Liu Chengguo Fan Jiali Du Fanfeng Meng Junlong Fang 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,2:2

5Design and Experiments of the High Voltage Pulsed Electric Fields Sterilization System显示文摘This experiment designed the pulsed electric fields(PEF) of high intensity of 100 kV · cm-1 sterilization system.Fluo-rescent pseudomonas as target cell was operated 180 s in the PEF.By observing the difference of the bacteria before and after the disposal by TEM,it is found that the cell walls of the treated bacteria were broken.Irreversible perforations were formed on the cell membrane.The cell inclusions and cell fragments were leaked.The cell died as a result.The results showed that the PEF sterilization system designed can be used for liquid food sterilization experiments.ZHANG Xihai FANG Junlong SHEN Weizheng 2008Journal of Northeast Agricultural University(English Edition)2008,15,2:1

13Novel obstacle-avoiding path planning for crop protection UAV using optimized Dubins curve显示文摘In recent years,the crop protection unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)has been raised great attention around the world due to the advantages of more efficient operation and lower requirement of special landing airport.However,there are few researches on obstacle-avoiding path planning for crop protection UAV.In this study,an improved Dubins curve algorithm was proposed for path planning with multiple obstacle constraints.First,according to the flight parameters of UAV and the types of obstacles in the field,the obstacle circle model and the small obstacle model were established.Second,after selecting the appropriate Dubins curve to generate the obstacle-avoiding path for multiple obstacles,the genetic algorithm(GA)was used to search the optimal obstacle-avoiding path.Third,for turning in the path planning,a strategy considering the size of the spray width and the UAV’s minimum turning radius was presented,which could decrease the speed change times.The results showed that the proposed algorithm can decrease the area of overlap and skip to 205.1%,while the path length increased by only 1.6%in comparison with the traditional Dubins obstacle-avoiding algorithm under the same conditions.With the increase of obstacle radius,the area of overlap and skip reduced effectively with no significant increase in path length.Therefore,the algorithm can efficiently improve the validity of path planning with multiple obstacle constraints and ensure the safety of flight.Xihai Zhang Chengguo Fan Zhanyuan Cao Junlong Fang Yinjiang Jia 2020International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2020,13,4:0
14Two-dimensional RGO-bridge S-scheme phosphorus-doped g-C_(3)N_(4)/Bi_(5)O_(7)Ivan der Waals heterojunctions for efficient visible-light photocatalytic treatment of real pharmaceutical wastewater显示文摘The design of van der Waals heterojunctions with S-scheme charge transfer pathway is expected to be an effective strategy for improvement of photocatalytic performance.Herein,two-dimensional(2D)phosphorus-doped g-C_(3)N_(4)/Bi_(5)O_(7)Ivan der Waals heterojunctions with reduced graphene oxide as electron bridge(PCN/RGO/Bi_(5O)_(7)I)were successfully synthesized via hydrothermal method.The van der Waals interaction endowed 2D PCN/RGO/Bi_(5O)_(7)I with intimate contact interface,lattice match,tunable band structure,and internal electric field,which efficiently promoted interfacial charge separation and enhanced redox ability of photogenerated charge carriers.As a result,the S-scheme PCN/RGO/Bi_5O_7I van der Waals heterojunctions exhibited superior photocatalytic performance in ciprofloxacin degradation and real pharmaceutical wastewater treatment.The optimized 12%PCN/RGO/Bi_5O_7I displayed the highest photocatalytic activity with 92%removal of ciprofloxacin.Importantly,the COD removal efficiency and extent of mineralization of real pharmaceutical wastewater reached 66.9%and 59.8%,respectively,and the biodegradability of pharmaceutical wastewater was significantly improved.The photocatalytic mechanism of the S-scheme PCN/RGO/Bi_(5)O_(7)I van der Waals heterojunctions based on the analysis of reactive species,work function,and internal electric field was presented.This study provides fresh insights into plausible design of S-scheme van der Waals heterojunction to enhance photocatalytic redox ability.WANG ZhenZhou XU XiWei DENG Fang DIONYSIOU Dionysios D LI XiBao PENG JunLong LUO XuBiao ZOU JianPing LUO ShengLian 2023Science China(Technological Sciences)2023,66,10:0
