| 2 | Cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging assessment of outcomes in acute myocardial infarction显示文摘Cardiovascular magnetic resonance(CMR) imaging uniquely characterizes myocardial and microvascular injury in acute myocardial infarction(AMI), providing powerful surrogate markers of outcomes. The last 10 years have seen an exponential increase in AMI studies utilizing CMR based endpoints. This article provides a contemporary, comprehensive review of the powerful role of CMR imaging in the assessment of outcomes in AMI. The theory, assessment techniques, chronology, importance in predicting left ventricular function and remodelling, and prognostic value of each CMR surrogate marker is described in detail. | 3 | 在过敏 bronchopulmonary 麴菌病的胸 X 光线照相术、计算的 tomographic 表明显示文摘 AIM:To investigate the chest radiographic and high resolution computed tomography(HRCT)chest manifestations in glucocorticoid-naive allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis(ABPA)patients.METHODS:This is a prospective observational study and includes 60 consecutive glucocorticoid-naive patients with ABPA who underwent chest radiography and HRCT of the chest(1.25 mm every 10 mm)in the routine diagnostic workup for ABPA.RESULTS:Chest radiographs were normal in 50%of cases.Of the remainder,most patients demonstrated permanent findings in the form of parallel line and ring shadows suggesting bronchiectasis.Consolidation was detected in 17 cases but in the majority,the corresponding HRCT chest scan showed mucus-filled bronchiectatic cavities.Chest HRCT was normal in 22 patients,while central bronchiectasis(CB)was demonstrated in the remaining 38 patients.Bronchiectasis extended to the periphery in 33%-43%depending on the criteria used for defining CB.The other findings observed on HRCT were mucoid impaction,centrilobular nodules and high-attenuation mucus in decreasing order of frequency.CONCLUSION:Patients with ABPA can present with normal HRCT chest scans.Central bronchiectasis cannot be considered a characteristic feature of ABPA as peripheral bronchiectasis is commonly observed.Consolidation is an uncommon finding in ABPA. | Ritesh Agarwal Ajmal Khan Mandeep Garg Ashutosh N Aggarwal Dheeraj Gupta | 2012 | World Journal of Radiology2012，4，4： | 14 |
| 4 | Interactive Effect of GA_3 ,N and P Ameliorate Growth, Seed and Fibre Yield by Enhancing Photosynthetic Capacity and Carbonic Anhydrase Activity of Linseed: A Dual Purpose Crop显示文摘Linseed (Linum usitatissimum L.) is an important dual-purpose, industrial crop. Its seeds are used for the extraction of oil and stem for fibres. However, the production of linseed is not going parallel with the increasing demand of its products. The present work was carried out with an aim to find out whether exogenous application of gibberellic acid (GA3) with or without graded levels of nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) could improve the performance of three linseed genotypes Parvati, Shekhar and Shubhra together with minimizing the costly fertilizer input and losses. Four combinations of N and P, viz., 0 mg N+0 mg P kg-1 soil (N0P0), N13.4 P4.46 , N26.8P8.94 and N40.2P13.4 were constituted. Half dose of each combination was applied basally at the time of sowing and remaining half dose was given at 40 d after sowing (DAS) as foliar spray along with 10-6 mol L-1 GA3 . Prior to sowing, the seeds of each linseed genotype were grouped in to two, one group of seeds was soaked in 0 mol L-1 GA3 (control) and the other group was soaked in 10-6 M GA3 solution, each for 8 hours. Treatments were comprised of (i) 0 mol L-1 GA3+N0P0 (T0 , control), (ii) 10-6 mol L-1 GA3 + N13.4P4.46 (T1), (iii) 10-6 mol L-1 GA 3 +N 26.8 P 8.94 (T2) and (iv) 10-6 mol L-1 GA3+N40.2P13.4 (T3). The crop performance was assessed in terms of growth, physiological and biochemical parameters at 60 and 75 DAS and yield attributes at harvest (175 DAS). The results showed a parallel increase in most of the parameters with increasing levels of N and P. However, application of 10-6 mol L-1 GA3 in association with N26.8P8.94 proved best, it enhanced seed yield, oil yield and fibre yield by 83.3, 97.3 and 78.7%, respectively accompanied with increase in net photosynthetic rate, carbonic anhydrase activity and dry matter accumulation. Among the genotypes tested, Shubhra performed best, while Parvati the least for most of the parameters studied. | 5 | Epstein-Barr virus-associated smooth muscle tumors in immunocompromised patients:Six case reports显示文摘BACKGROUND Epstein-Barr virus associated smooth muscle tumor(EBV-SMT)is a rare oncological entity.However,there is an increasing incidence of EBV-SMTs,as the frequency of organ transplantation and immunosuppression grows.EBV-SMT diagnosis relies on histopathology and immunochemical staining to distinguish it from post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder(PTLD).There is no clear consensus on the treatment of EBV-SMTs.However,surgical resection,chemotherapy,radiation therapy,and immunosuppression reduction have been explored with varying degrees of success.CASE SUMMARY Our case series includes six cases of EBV-SMTs across different age groups,with different treatment modalities,adding to the limited existing literature on this rare tumor.The median latency time between immunosuppression and disease diagnosis is four years.EBV-SMTs present with variable degrees of aggressiveness and seem to have worse clinical outcomes in patients with tumor multiplicity and worse immunocompetency.CONCLUSION It is imperative to continue building on this knowledge and keeping EBV-SMTs on the differential in immunocompromised individuals. | Afshin A Khan Bassam N Estfan Anirudh Yalamanchali Djibril Niang Erica C Savage Clifton G Fulmer Hailey L Gosnell Jamak Modaresi Esfeh | 2022 | World Journal of Clinical Oncology2022，13，6： | 2 |
