1Possible early Neoproterozoic magmatism associated with slab window in the Pingshui segment of the Jiangshan-Shaoxing suture zone: Evidence from zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb geochronology and geochemistry显示文摘We report here geochemical data, U-Pb zircon ages, and Hf isotopes for the high-Mg diorites (HMDs), Nb-enriched basaltic porphyrys (NEBPs) and plagiogranites (PLAGs) in the Pingshui segment of the Jiangshan-Shaoxing suture zone. The HMDs are characterized by high Mg# (>60), high Na and LREE contents, depletion of HREE and HFSE, and pronounced positive εNd(t) values of 7.0 to 7.7, similar to some adakitic high-Mg andesites. The NEBPs are relatively Na-rich (Na2O/K2O>6) and display high abundances of P2O5 (~1.00%), TiO2 (~3.08%) and HFSE (e.g., Nb=9.53-10.27 ppm). Their Nd isotopic compositions (εNd(t)=6.8-8.0) are comparable to those of the HMDs. The PLAGs are metaluminous (A/CNK=0.84-0.89) and sodic (Na2O/K2O>10). Their depletion in HFSE (e.g., Nb, Ta) is consistent with 'SSZ-type' plagiogranite. Zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating yields an age of 932±7 Ma for the HMD, 916±6 Ma for the NEBP, and 902±5 Ma for the PLAG, respectively, indicating that they were products of early Neoproterozoic magmatism. The PLAGs exhibit relatively high zircon Hf isotopes and positive εHf(t) values of 11.0 to 16.2, consistent with their Nd isotopic data (εNd(t)=7.5-8.4). Such features are similar to those of oceanic plagiogranites in ophiolites and distinct from those of crust-derived granites. The PLAGs were most likely derived from partial melting of subducted oceanic crust in an active continental margin. Considering these results in the context of the regional geology, we suggest that a slab window in the subducting oceanic crust between the Yangtze Block and Cathaysia Block was possibly the principal cause for the unique arc magmatism in the area. 2Integrating of lipophilic platinum(IV) prodrug into liposomes for cancer therapy on patient-derived xenograft model显示文摘Platinum-based anticancer agents such as cisplatin and its analogues are widely used for treating multiple cancers. However, due to the inferior water-solubility, chemoresistance and consequent adverse side effects, their clinical applications are limited. Herein, choles Pt(IV), a lipophilic platinum(IV) prodrug was synthesized for manufacture of Choles Pt(IV)-Liposomes aiming to resolve the predefined obstacles encountered by platinum drugs. Following systematic screening, Choles Pt(IV)-Liposomes showed a small particle size(105.6 nm), the rapid release of platinum(Pt) ions, and notable apoptosis of cancer cells.In addition, according to the fluidity and safety results of animal experiments in mice, Choles Pt(IV)-Liposomes also showed better therapeutic effect, which significantly inhibited the growth of patientderived xenograft tumors of hepatocellular carcinoma with an inhibition ratio of 80.7%, and effectively alleviated the drug toxicity brought by traditional platinum drugs. 3Targeting self-enhanced ROS-responsive artesunatum prodrug nanoassembly potentiates gemcitabine activity by down-regulating CDA expression in cervical cancer显示文摘Prodrug self-delivery carriers with targeting that specifically responded to tumor microenvironments have good potential to improve the application dilemma of approved clinical therapeutic drugs(systemic distribution and side effects).It's noted the conversion of gemcitabine(GEM)to inactive ingredients under the action of cytidine deaminase(CDA)during metabolism in vivo limits its clinical effect.A high level of reactive oxygen species(ROS)results in a high level of oxidative stress in tumor cells,which changes the expression of CDA and optimizes the metabolism of GEM in vivo and overcome drug resistance.In this study,the ROS responsive and ROS self-supplied prodrug of artemisia(ART)-thioacetal bond(TK)-GEM was synthesized and self-vectors based on ART-TK-GEM(TK@FA NPs)was prepared by using nano precipitation.ROS responsive characteristics ensure specific release of prodrugs in tumor cells with high level of ROS thereby reducing side effects on normal cells and tissues.The endogenous ROS and newly generated ROS by ART can reduce the expression of CDA and optimizes the metabolism of GEM,and the accumulated ROS can also induce apoptosis of tumor cells,realizing synergistic anti-tumor effect of chemical drugs and traditional Chinese medicines.This paper proposes a simple method by using clinically approved drugs to improve the insufficient effect of existing chemotherapy and overcome resistance,which has potential to appropriately shorten the drug development cycle and accelerate the clinical investigation of drugs.Shengtao Wang Kunyi Yu Zhiyu Yu Bingchen Zhang Chaojie Chen Ling Lin Zibo Li Zhongjun Li Yuhua Zheng Zhiqiang Yu 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,7:0
