| 1 | Statistics of oxidation resistance of Ni-(0-15)Co-(8-15)Cr-(0-5)Mo-(0-10)W-(3-8)Al-(0-5)Ti-(0-10)Ta-0.1C-0.01B superalloys at 1000℃ by compositional variations显示文摘The effects of alloying elements(Co,Cr,Mo,W,Al,Ti,and Ta)on the oxidation resistance of Ni-(0-15)Co-(8-15)Cr-(0-5)Mo-(0-10)W-(3-8)Al-(0-5)Ti-(0-10)Ta-0.1 C-0.01 B alloys were studied.The sample compositions were designed by the Box-Behnken method of design of experiments(DOE).The alloying elements show complicated effects on the mass gain due to oxidation,depending on the alloy composition.Al reduces the mass gain largely.The other elements except Al do not appear to exert a strong effect on the oxidation rate on average,but their influences are shown clearly in the alloys with a low Al content.Co,W,and Ta reduce the oxidation rate,while Cr,Mo,and Ti promote oxidation.Ta is the most effective element in reducing the oxidation rate of the alloy with a low Al concentration.It is confirmed that a continuous Al2O3 layer is essentially required for high oxidation resistance.The oxide scale of easily oxidized alloys has various oxides such as NiCr2O4,NiAl2O4,NiO,Cr2O3,CrTaO4,and TiO2. | Si-Jun Park Kyu-Hyuk Lee Seong-Moon Seo Hi-Won Jeong Young-Soo Yoo HeeJin Jang | 2020 | Rare Metals2020，39，8： | 5 |

| 13 | Thick free-standing electrode based on carbon-carbon nitride microspheres with large mesopores for high-energy-density lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘The development of sulfur cathodes with high areal capacity and high energy density is crucial for the practical application of lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs).LSBs can be built by employing(ultra)high-loading sulfur cathodes,which have rarely been realized due to massive passivation and shuttling.Herein,microspheres of a carbon-carbon nitride composite(C@CN)with large mesopores are fabricated via molecular cooperative assembly.Using the C@CN-based electrodes,the effects of the large mesopores and N-functional groups on the electrochemical behavior of sulfur in LSB cells are thoroughly investigated under ultrahigh sulfur-loading conditions(>15 mgS cm^(-2)).Furthermore,for high-energy-density LSBs,the C@CN powders are pelletized into a thick free-standing electrode(thickness:500^m;diameter:11 mm)via a simple briquette process;here,the total amount of energy stored by the LSB cells is 39 mWh,corresponding to a volumetric energy density of 440 Wh L-1 with an areal capacity of 24.9 and 17.5 mAh cm^(-2) at 0.47 and 4.7 mA cm^(-2),respectively(at 24mgS cm^(-2)).These results have significantly surpassed most recent records due to the synergy among the large mesopores,(poly)sulfide-philic surfaces,and thick electrodes.The developed strategy with its potential for scale-up successfully fills the gap between laboratory-scale cells and practical cells without sacrificing the high areal capacity and high energy density,providing a solid foundation for the development of practical LSBs. | Hui-Ju Kang Tae-Gyu Lee Heejin Kim Jae-Woo Park Hyun Jin Hwang Hyeonseok Hwang Kwang-Suk Jang Hae Jin Kim Yun Suk Huh Won Bin Im Young-Si Jun | 2021 | Carbon Energy2021，3，3： | 1 |
