| 1 | Study on detection of coastal water environment of China by ocean color remote sensing显示文摘Coastal water environment is essentially enhanced by ocean color which is basically decided by substances concentration in water such as chlorophyll, suspended material and yellow substance. It is very difficult, even not possible, to detect water color by expensive ship routing, because of its temporal and spatial variety of feature and scales in the very complicated dynamical system of coastal water. With the development of satellite technique in the last 20 a, space sensors can be applied to detect ocean color by measuring the spectra of water leaving radiance.It is proven that ocean color remote sensing is a powerful tool for understanding the process of oceanic biology and physics. Since the 1980s, great attention has been paid to the advanced remote sensing technique in China, especially to development of satellite programs for the coastal water environment. On 7 September 1988, China launched her first polar orbit satellite FY-1A for meteorological and oceanographic application (water color and temperature) and the second satellite FY-1B two years later. In May 1999, China launched her second generation environment satellite FY-1C with higher sensitivies, more channels and stable operation. The special ocean color satellite HY-1 is planned to be in the orbit in 2001, whose main purpose is to detect the coastal water environment of China seas. China is also developing a very advantageous sensor termed as Chinese moderate imaging spectra radiometer (CMODIS) with 91 channels, which will be a good candidate of the third generation satellite FY-3 in 2003. The technical system of ocean color remote sensing was developed by the Second Institute of Oceanography (SIO), State Oceanic Administration (SOA) in 1997. The system included data receiving, processing, distribution, calibration, validation and application units. The Hangzhou Station of SIO, SOA has the capability to receive FY-1 and AVHRR data since 1989. It was also a SeaWiFS scientific research station authorized by NASA,USA to free receive SeaWiFS data from 16 September 1997. In the recent years, the local algorithms of atmospheric correction and inversion of ocean color have been developed for FY-1C and SeaWiFS, to improve the accuracy of the measurement from satellites efficiently. The satellite data are being applied to monitor coastal water environment, such as the spatial distribution of chlorophyll, suspended material and yellow substance, red tide detection and coastal current study. | 2 | Improving the wind and wave estimation of dual-frequency altimeter JASON1 in Typhoon Shanshan and considering the rain effects显示文摘Altimetry data have been widely used in various fields of oceanography,including the extreme weather events such as tropical cyclones,typhoons,and hurricanes. The performance of JASON1 in Typhoon Shanshan is assessed by examining the sensor geophysical data record and illustrates how the measured return waveform,significant wave height,and backscatter are all affected by various factors associated with the typhoon,with details by the rain are illustrated. The correction method to maintain accurate wave height and wind speed measurements in Typhoon Shanshan and the results are presented. Furthermore,the additional results of rain rate and typhoon eye diameter can be retrieved. | 3 | Speciation of iron in atmospheric particulate matter by EXAFS显示文摘The study on elemental speciation in atmospheric particulate matter (PM) is important for understanding the formation and origin of pollution and evaluating their toxicity. In this paper,the speci- ation of iron in atmospheric PM was investigated with extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) spectra based on synchrotron radiation. The chemi- cal components of PM can be calculated by regres- sion analysis of EXAFS spectra. This is a non-destructive method. In order to have knowledge of the influence of chemical components on EXAFS spectra,we prepared a series of mixed reference samples,and proved the precision of method is good. The PM samples with different particle sizes and from different sampling sites were collected in Shanghai,China. The chemical components of the samples were calculated by regression analysis of EXAFS spectra. The results show that the iron in all PM samples mainly consist of Fe2O3,Fe3O4 and Fe2(SO4)3,but their proportions are different in dif- ferent samples. The changes of components among PM samples were observed preliminarily. The con- centrations of iron in the samples were determined by proton-induced X-ray emission (PIXE) technique. | 4 | Study on oil–source correlation by analyzing organic geochemistry characteristics: a case study of the Upper Triassic Yanchang Formation in the south of Ordos Basin, China显示文摘In the south of the Ordos Basin, the oil source of the Upper Triassic Yanchang Formation is confused all the time, which affects further exploration. In this study, oil sources from the oil layers of Ch6, Ch8 and Ch9 are all analyzed and confirmed. Through their carbon isotope value and biomarkers, characteristics of crude oils from the Yanchang Formation are analyzed. Then, the oil–source relation is discussed, with the source rocks' features.Finally, the oil–source relation is calculated through cluster analysis. It is believed that the oils from the Yanchang Formation deposit in a similar redox environment, with weak oxidation–weak reduction, and have all entered maturity stage. Ch9 crude oil is more mature than crude oils from Ch6 and Ch8, and has more advanced plants and fewer algae. Gas chromatography(GC) and gas chromatography–mass spectrometry(GC–MS) analysis show that crude oils from Ch6 and Ch8 may come from Ch7, and Ch9 crude oil may not. Cluster analysis displays that crude oils from Ch6 and Ch8 have closer squared Euclidean distance with Ch7 source rocks than Ch9 crude oil does,indicating crude oils from Ch6 and Ch8 stem from Ch7 source rocks. And Ch9 crude oil has rather close squared Euclidean distance with Ch9 source rocks, illustrating Ch9 crude oil may be from Ch9 source rocks. | 5 | Effects of Ti addition on low carbon hot strips produced by CSP process显示文摘Large quantity of fine Ti(C,N) particles, 15-30 nm in size, were observed in low carbon hot strips added to a small amount of Ti and produced by CSP process. The results showed that the precipitation of Ti(C,N) mostly took place during soaking and hot rolling, which is significantly different from that in the conventional production. These fine Ti carbonitride particles could be very effective on the austenite grain refinement by hindering grain growth of recrystallized austenite. | 6 | Satellite remote sensing of ultraviolet irradiance on the ocean surface显示文摘Ultraviolet(UV) radiation has a significant influence on marine biological processes and primary productivity;however, the existing ocean color satellite sensors seldom contain UV bands. A look-up table of wavelengthintegrated UV irradiance(280–400 nm) on the sea surface is established using the coupled ocean atmosphere radiative transfer(COART) model. On the basis of the look-up table, the distributions of the UV irradiance at middle and low latitudes are inversed by using the satellite-derived atmospheric products from the Aqua satellite,including aerosol optical thickness at 550 nm, ozone content, liquid water path, and the total precipitable water.The validation results show that the mean relative difference of the 10 d rolling averaged UV irradiance between the satellite retrieval and field observations is 8.20% at the time of satellite passing and 13.95% for the daily dose of UV. The monthly-averaged UV irradiance and daily dose of UV retrieved by satellite data show a good correlation with the in situ data, with mean relative differences of 6.87% and 8.43%, respectively. The sensitivity analysis of satellite inputs is conducted. The liquid water path representing the condition of cloud has the highest effect on the retrieval of the UV irradiance, while ozone and aerosol have relatively lesser effect. The influence of the total precipitable water is not significant. | 7 | Study on ecosytem service function change of island based on remote sensing显示文摘Based on the interpretation of the remote sensing data presented by the resource satellite, this paper states the fact that the land-use area in Donghai Island, which is located in the south of Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province,had expanded by 576.71 hm2 in the 25 years from 1986 to 2010 because of human activities such as land reclamation; in the meantime, great changes in types of land cover on the island have occurred. The definite change in land use leads to the remarkable transition in its ecosystem service value. Therefore, by applying the Costanza method in this paper to quantificationally analyze the changes in its ecosystem services on this island;the Costanza method is a calculation technique that shows the service value per unit area of island. It is found that from 1986 to 2010, especially in the recent years, due to the rapid development in the petrifaction, steel and port industries, the areas of cultivated land, woodland, grassland and desert have decreased in different degrees, while the lands for residence, industry and traffic construction and the areas of water and wetlands have increased.Consequently, compared with the number of RMB 547.57×106 yuan per year in 1986, the ecosystem service value of Donghai Island was greatly reduced to RMB 493.94×106 yuan per year in 2010. As for the spatial distribution, it presents a feature that it is higher in the west and low in the east. | 8 | Influence on lacustrine source rock by hydrothermal fluid: a case study of the Chang 7 oil shale, southern Ordos Basin显示文摘Hydrothermal fluid activity during sedimentation of the Triassic Yanchang Formation in the Ordos Basin and the impact of said activity on formation and preservation conditions of source rocks have received little attention. Oil yield, major element, trace element, rare earth element, and total sulfur(TS) data from the oil shale within the Yanchang are here presented and discussed in the context of hydrothermal influence. Oil shale samples returned relatively high total organic carbon(TOC), in the range of 4.69%–25.48%. A high correlation between TS and TOC suggests TS in the oil shale is dominated by organic sulfur and affected by organic matter. The low Al/Si ratio of oil shale samples implies quartz is a major mineralogical component. Si/(Si + Al + Fe) values suggest close proximity of the oil shale to a terrigenous source.d Eu; Fe versus Mn versus(Cu + Co + Ni) 9 10; and Si O2/(K2 O + Na2 O) versus Mn O/Ti O2, Fe/Ti, and(Fe + Mn)/Ti are evidence of hydrothermal fluid activity during oil shale sedimentation, and d U and U/Th of the oil shale indicate reducing conditions. The Sr/Ba of oil shale samples suggests fresh-water deposition. The high correlations of Fe/Ti and(Fe + Mn)/Ti with d U, U/Th, and TS demonstrate that hydrothermal fluid activity promotes reducing conditions. Sr/Ba ratios had low correlation with Fe/Ti and(Fe + Mn)/Ti, implying that hydrothermal fluid activity had little impact on paleosalinity. | 9 | Elemental characteristics of lacustrine oil shale and its controlling factors of palaeo-sedimentary environment on oil yield: a case from Chang 7 oil layer of Triassic Yanchang Formation in southern Ordos Basin显示文摘As an important unconventional resource, oil shale has received widespread attention. The oil shale of the Chang 7 oil layer from Triassic Yanchang Formation in Ordos Basin represents the typical lacustrine oil shale in China. Based on analyzing trace elements and oil yield from boreholes samples, characteristics and paleo-sedimentary environments of oil shale and relationship between paleo-sedimentary environment and oil yield were studied. With favorable quality, oil yield of oil shale varies from 1.4% to 9.1%. Geochemical data indicate that the paleo-redox condition of oil shale's reducing condition from analyses of V/Cr, V/(V + Ni), U/Th, d U, and authigenic uranium. Equivalent Boron, Sp, and Sr/Ba illustrate that paleosalinity of oil shale is dominated by fresh water.The paleoclimate of oil shale is warm and humid by calculating the chemical index of alteration and Sr/Cu. Fe/Ti and(Fe + Mn)/Ti all explain that there were hot water activities during the sedimentary period of oil shale. In terms of Zr/Rb, paleohydrodynamics of oil shale is weak.By means of Co abundance and U/Th, paleo-water-depth of oil shale is from 17.30 to 157.26 m, reflecting sedimentary environment which is mainly in semi deep–deep lake facies. | 13 | Water quality,natural chemical weathering and ecological risk assessment of the contaminated area of vanadium ore in Yinhua River,China:Evidence from major ions and trace elements显示文摘There are abundant vanadium ores in the Cambrian strata in southern Shaanxi,China.Many years of mining activities and surface leaching have polluted the surface water to a certain extent,but the researches on the water quality characteristics and pollution degree are relatively weak.This contribution was organized to investigate the surface water quality by general parameters,including TDS,Eh,pH,DO,TOC,COD,and EC,in the vanadium ore belt(Yinhua River basin).Major ions were determined to detect the water type and natural chemical weathering,while trace elements were used to illustrate their geochemical characteristics and ecological risk assessment of heavy metals.The study found that the surface water was weakly alkaline and mainly dominated from normal to pool grade.The particle size with1000–10,000 nm of suspended particles was the main carrier of organic matter.The concentration of HCO_(3)^(-)and SO_(4)^(2-)in the anions and Ca^(2+)and Mg^(2+)ions in the cations were relatively high,and the water type was Ca-Mg-HCO_(3)-SO_(4) type.Rock weathering had a great influence on surface water,and the weathering products were mainly silicate and carbonate.Compared with the Type river,the contents of V elements showed an obvious positive anomaly,which may be affected by mining activities of vanadium ore and the annual leaching of the tailings pond.As and Cd in the surface water was polluted seriously.The integrated pollution index suggested that the surface water pollution was serious,and the main stream was more serious with the increasing tailings ponds. | Delu Li Yong Xu Xiaotuan Zhang Zhidong Yang Shaofei Wang Qianyang He Zhe Jia | 2022 | Acta Geochimica2022,41,1: | 0 |
| 14 | Efficient gene transfection of suspension cells by highly branched poly(β-amino ester)显示文摘Suspension cells play a crucial role in many biological processes. However, compared to adherent cells, it is particularly challenging to introduce exogenous genes into suspension cells to regulate their biological functions with non-viral gene vectors, mainly due to the low cellular uptake and endosomal escape of polyplexes. Herein, to improve the interactions of polyplexes with cellular membranes, we design and synthesize highly branched poly(β-amino ester)(HPAE) via an “A2 + B4 + C2” Michael addition strategy.Results show that branching significantly increases DNA condensation of HPAE, cellular uptake and endosomal escape of HPAE/DNA polyplexes. In mast cells(MCs), HPAE exhibits up to 80-fold higher gene transfection efficiency compared to the corresponding linear poly(β-amino ester)(LPAE) and the leading commercial gene transfection reagents PEI25k, jetPEI, and Lipofectamine 3000, without causing obvious cytotoxicity. | 15 | Optimization of ISSR-PCR Reaction System and Primer Selection for Olea euyopaea显示文摘[Objective] This study aimed to optimize the ISSR-PCR reaction system and select polymorphic ISSR primers for Olea euyopaea. [Method] O. euyopaea genomic DNA was extracted from leaves as the template for optimization of ISSR-PCR reaction system by single-factor experiments on the main factors including Mg2+, dNTPs, primer concentration and template amount. [Result] The optimal ISSR-PCR reaction system for O. euyopaea was obtained, with a total system volume of 20 μl containing 1 × Taq buffer, 3.5 mmol/L Mg2+, 0.4 mmol/L dNTPs, 1.0 μmol/L primers, 1.0 U of Taq DNA polymerase and 20 ng of DNA template. The optimal ISSR-PCR reaction program was started with predenaturation at 94 ℃ for 5 min, followed by 40 cycles of denaturation at 94 ℃ for 30 s, annealing at 52-55 ℃ for 30 s, and extension at 72 ℃ for 2 min; the amplification was completed by holding the reaction mixture at 72 ℃ for 10 min to allow complete extension of PCR products. PCR products were stored at 4 ℃. Based on the above conditions, 11 primers with high polymorphism, clear amplified bands and good repeatability were selected. | 16 | Effect of Angiotensin Receptor-neprilysin Inhibitor on Acute Kidney Injury in Patients With Acute Decompensated Heart Failure显示文摘Objective:The risk of acute kidney injury(AKI)is high in patients with acute decompensated heart failure(ADHF).The aim of this study is to analyze the role of urinary neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin(uNGAL)in diagnosing AKI in patients with ADHF and evaluate the therapeutic effect of angiotensin receptor-neprilysin inhibitor(ARNI)on AKI.Method:Sixty patients with ADHF were enrolled at the First Affiliated Hospital of Kangda College of Nanjing Medical University from January 2020 to June 2021,and randomized into 2 groups(ARNI group:30 patients treated with tablets of sacubitril valsartan sodium;and angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor(ACEI)group:30 patients treated with benazepril).The uNGAL level was measured immediately after as well as 1,2,3,and 7 d after hospital admission.The serum creatinine(sCr)level and estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR)were measured immediately as well as 2 and 7 d after hospital admission.The urine volume,dose of loop diuretics,and duration of hospital stay(DoHS)were recorded.Result:The most valuable diagnostic metric for AKI in patients with ADHF was the uNGAL level 1 d after hospital admission,which had a sensitivity of 0.94,specificity of 0.84,and optimal cutoff of 125.62μg/L.In the presence of AKI,during the first 2 d,patients in the ARNI-AKI and ACEI-AKI groups showed an increase in the sCr level and a reduction in the eGFR level,but there was no significant difference between the 2 groups(P>0.05).After 7 d of treatment,the sCr level decreased and the eGFR level increased in both groups,with a significantly greater changes being observed in the ARNI-AKI group than in the ACEI-AKI group(P<0.05,respectively).In the absence of AKI,the difference in the sCr level and eGFR between the 2 groups was not significant.The DoHS((11.25±2.38)d vs.(14.11±2.89)d),urinary microalbumin level((22.95±6.04)mg/L vs.(31.91±2.18)mg/L),and daily dose of loop diuretics((19.03±3.04)mg/d vs.(23.62±4.46)mg/d)were significantly lower in patients with AKI in the ARNI group than in the ACEI group(P<0.05,respectively).Conclusion:In patients with ADHF,uNGAL measurement enables the diagnosis of AKI earlier than that using the sCr level by 1 to 2 d.ARNI treatment reduced the sCr level,facilitated eGFR recovery,reduced the daily dose of loop diuretics,and decreased the DoHS compared with that in patients receive ACEI treatment. | Gonghao Li Yanli Zhao Zhongxing Peng Kun Liu Delu Yin Yunfeng Zhao | 2024 | Cardiology Discovery2024,4,1: | 0 |
| 17 | A quantitative evaluation of the factors influencing the air-sea carbon dioxide transfer velocity显示文摘The numerous factors influencing the air-sea carbon dioxide(CO_2) transfer velocity have been discussed for many years, yet the contributions of various factors have undergone little quantitative estimation. To better understand the mechanism of air-sea transfer, the effects of different factors are discussed on the air-sea transfer velocity and the various parametric models describing the phenomenon are classified and compared.Then, based on GAS EX-98 and ASGAMAGE data, wind models are evaluated and the effects of some factors are discussed quantitatively, including bubbles, waves, wind and so on by considering their interaction through a piecewise average approach. It is found that the air-sea CO_2 transfer velocity is not only the function of the wind speed, but is also affected by bubbles, wave parameters and other factors. Stepwise and linear regressions are used. When considering the wind speed, bubbles mediated and the significant wave height, the root mean square error is reduced from 34.53 cm/h to 16.96 cm/h. | 18 | Polydopamine directed MnO@C microstructures as electrode for lithium ion battery显示文摘In this work,a facile process was reported to fabricate amorphous carbon-coated MnO micropeanuts(MPs)with 1.8μm in length and 1.0μm in width using hydrothermal reaction followed by heat treatment in the oxygen-free environment.With Mn Cl_2 and KMnO_4 dissolved in the mixture of ethylene glycol and water,MnCO_3 MP precursors were obtained via the hydrothermal reaction with dopamine as surfactant.Then MnCO_3 MP was annealed at 600°C in the N_2 atmosphere and was transformed into MnO MP,and simultaneously the formed polydopamine during the hydrothermal reaction was carbonized to produce amorphous carbon-coating on the MnO MP surface.In contrast,MnCO_3 nanoparticle(NP)precursor was formed without the addition of dopamine and MnO NP agglomerates were prepared after pyrolysis.The carbonization of polydopamine during thermolysis improves the electrical conductivity and thermal stability of the MnO MP and thus its electrochemical performance as electrode materials for lithium ion battery.Hopefully,this facile strategy for fabricating and designing carbon-coated materials would inspire more novel nanostructures and applications thereof. | Delu Li Yejun Zhang Lun Li Feng Hu Hongchao Yang Changhong Wang Qiangbin Wang | 2016 | Science China Chemistry2016,59,1: | 0 |
| 19 | Elemental characteristics and paleoenvironment reconstruction: a case study of the Triassic lacustrine Zhangjiatan oil shale, southern Ordos Basin, China显示文摘Using trace elements to reconstruct paleoenvironment is a current hot topic in geochemistry. Through analytical tests of oil yield, ash yield, calorific value, total sulfur, major elements, trace elements, and X-ray diffraction, the quality, mineral content, occurrence mode of elements, and paleoenvironment of the Zhangjiatan oil shale of the Triassic Yanchang Formation in the southern Ordos Basin were studied. The analyses revealed relatively high oil yield(average 6.63%) and medium quality. The mineral content in the oil shale was mainly clay minerals,quartz, feldspar, and pyrite; an illite–smectite mixed layer comprised the major proportion of clay minerals. Compared with marine oil shale in China, the Zhangjiatan oil shale had higher contents of quartz, feldspar, and clay minerals, and lower calcite content. Silica was mainly in quartz and Fe was associated with organic matter, which is different from marine oil shale. The form of calcium varied. Cluster analyses indicated that Fe, Cu, U, V, Zn, As,Cs, Cd, Mo, Ga, Pb, Co, Ni, Cr, Sc, P, and Mn are associated with organic matter while Ca, Na, Sr, Ba, Si, Zr, K,Al, B, Mg, and Ti are mostly terrigenous. Sr/Cu, Ba/Al, V/(V+ Ni), U/Th, AU, and δU of oil shale samples suggest the paleoclimate was warm and humid, paleoproductivity of the lake was relatively high during deposition of the shale—which mainly occurred in fresh water—and the paleo-redox condition was dominated by reducing conditions.
