Evaluation system for CO_2 emission of hot asphalt mixture显示文摘The highway construction industry plays an important role in economic and development, but is also a primary source of carbon emission. Accordingly, with the global climate change, energy conservation and reduction of carbon emissions have become critical issues in the highway construction industry. However, to date, a model for the highway construction industry has not been established. Hence, to implement a low-carbon construction model for highways, this study divided asphalt pavement construction into aggregate stacking, aggregate supply, and other stages, and compiled a list of energy consumption investigation. An appropriate calculation model of CO_2 emission was then built. Based on the carbon emission calculation model, the proportion of carbon emissions in each stage was analyzed. The analytic hierarchy process was used to establish the system of asphalt pavement construction with a judgment matrix, thereby enabling calculation of the weight coefficient of each link. In addition, the stages of aggregate heating, asphalt heating, and asphalt mixture mixing were defined as key stages of asphalt pavement construction. Carbon emissions at these stages accounted for approximately 90% of the total carbon emissions. Carbon emissions at each stage and their impact on the environment were quantified and compared. The energy saving construction schemes as well as the environmental and socioeconomic benefits were then proposed. Through these schemes, significant reductions in carbon emissions and costs can be achieved. The results indicate that carbon emissions reduce by 32.30% and 35.93%, whereas costs reduce by 18.58% and 6.03%. The proposed energy-saving and emission reduction scheme can provide a theoretical basis and technical support for the development of low-carbon highway construction. | Bo Peng Chunli Cai Guangkai Yin Wenying Li Yaowen Zhan | 2015 | Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2015,2,2: | 8
Nanoparticle-immersed paper imprinting mass spectrometry imaging reveals uptake and translocation mechanism of pesticides in plants显示文摘Design and discovery of carrier-mediated modified pesticides are vital for reducing pesticide dosage and increasing utilization, yet it remains a great challenge due to limited insights into plant translocation mechanisms.Nanostructure/nanoparticle assisted laser desorption/ionization strategy has established itself as a preferential analytical tool for biological tissue analysis, whereas potential applications in plant sciences are hindered with regard to the inability to slice plant leaves and petals.Herein,we report gold nanoparticle(AuNP)-immersed paper imprinting mass spectrometry imaging(MSI)for the spatiotemporal visualization of pesticide translocation in plant leaves. This approach plays a dual role in preserving spatial information and improving ionization efficiency for pesticides regardless of imaging artifacts due to homogenous AuNP deposition.Using this MSI platform,we proposed the elaborate plant translocation mechanism of agrochemicals for the first time, which is currently poorly understood. The dynamic processes of carrier-mediated pesticides can be clearly visualized, including crossing of plasma membranes by transporters, translocation downward in stems through the phloem, diffusion to the xylem and, conversely, accumulation at margins of the treated leaves. Moreover, this AuNP-assisted paper imprinting method could be highly compatible with laser-based MSI instruments, expediting researches across a broad range of fields, especially in nanomaterial development and life sciences. | Xinzhou Wu Run Qin Hanxiang Wu Guangkai Yao Yue Zhang Ping Li Yizhu Xu Zhixiang Zhang Zhibin Yin Hanhong Xu | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,3: | 8

Oxygen-deficient SnO_(2)nanoparticles with ultrathin carbon shell for efficient electrocatalytic N_(2)reduction显示文摘For high-efficiency NH_(3)synthesis via ambient-condition electrohydrogenation of inert N_(2),it is pivotal to ingeniously design an active electrocatalyst with multiple features of abundant surfacial deficiency, good conductivity and large surface area.Here,oxygen-deficient SnO_(2)nanoparticles encapsulated by ultrathin carbon layer(d-SnO_(2)@C)are developed by hydrothermal deposition coupled with annealing process,as promising catalysts for ambient electrocatalytic N_(2)reduction.d-SnO_(2)@C exhibits high activity and excellent selectivity for electrocatalytic conversion of N_(2)to NH_(3)in acidic electrolytes, with Faradic efficiency as high as 12.7%at-0.15 V versus the reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE)and large NH_(3)yield rate of 16.68μg h^(-1)mgcat^(-1)at-0.25 V vs.RHE in 0.1 mol L^(-1)HCl.Benefiting from the structural superiority of enhanced charge transfer efficiency and optimized surface states,d-SnO_(2)@C also achieves excellent long-term stability. | Guangkai Li Haeseong Jang Zijian Li Jia Wang Xuqiang Ji Min Gyu Kim Xien Liu Jaephil Cho | 2022 | Green Energy & Environment2022,7,4: | 0

Organic solar cells based on chlorine functionalized benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b′]difuran-benzo[1,2-c:4,5-c′]dithiophene-4,8-dione copolymer with efficiency exceeding 13%显示文摘Benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b′]dithiophene(BDT) has been widely used to construct donor-acceptor(D-A) copolymers in organic solar cells(OSCs). However, benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b′]difuran(BDF), an analogue of BDT, has received less attention than BDT. The photovoltaic performance of BDF copolymers has lagged behind that of BDT copolymers. Here, we designed and synthesized two BDF copolymers, PBF1-C and PBF1-C-2Cl. PBF1-C-2Cl, which is composed of BDF and benzo[1,2-c:4,5-c′]dithiophene-4,8-dione connected by a chlorinated thiophene π-bridge, displays a low-lying highest occupied molecular orbital energy level, which helps in yielding a high open-circuit voltage(Voc) in OSCs. As a result, when blended with Y6, PBF1-C-2Cl-based devices showed a high Voc of 0.83 V and a power conversion efficiency(PCE) of 13.10%. To the best of our knowledge, the PCE of 13.10% is among the highest efficiency values for OSCs based on BDF copolymers. | Linglong Ye Xueshan Li Yunhao Cai Hwa Sook Ryu Guangkai Lu Donghui Wei Xiaobo Sun Han Young Woo Songting Tan Yanming Sun | 2020 | Science China Chemistry2020,63,4: | 0
Improvement of photovoltaic properties of benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b′]difuran-conjugated polymer by side-chain modification显示文摘The development of polymer solar cells(PSCs)for the donor materials based on benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b′]dithiophene(BDT)has significantly boosted the power conversion efficiency(PCE).However, the PCE of polymer donor materials for benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b′]difuran(BDF)-based lags far behind that of their BDT analogs. To further explore efficient copolymers based on BDF units,a two-dimensional(2D)side-chain strategy was proposed to investigate the atom-changing effects on the copolymer donors for the properties of electron and optical. In this study,we designed and synthesized three new BDF-based copolymer donor materials, named PBDF-C,PBDF-O,and PBDF-S.Owing to the balanced charge transport and favorable phase separation of PBDF-S:Y6,a high PCE of 13.4%,a short-circuit current(J sc)of 25.48 mA cm−2,an open-circuit voltage(V oc)of 0.721 V,and a fill factor(FF)of 72.6%was obtained. This research demonstrates that the BDF building block has great potential for constructing conjugated copolymer donors for high-performance PSCs and that 2D side-chain modification is a facile approach for designing high-performance BDF-based copolymer materials. | Yun Li Guangkai Lu Linglong Ye Hwa Sook Ryu Yunhao Cai Han Young Woo Yan Li Yanming Sun | 2023 | ChemPhysMater2023,2,3: | 0
