1Robust Position Anti-Interference Control for PMSM Servo System With Uncertain Disturbance显示文摘Aiming to suppress the influence of uncertain disturbances in the drive control of permanent magnet synchronous machines(PMSM),such as the parameter uncertainties and load disturbance,a robust anti-interference control for the angular position tracking control of a PMSM servo system has been proposed in this paper.During the position tracking,uncertain system disturbances being regarded as a lumped unknown term will be online observed by a nonlinear disturbance observer(NDOB),of which the influence will consequently be counteracted by a robust backstepping compensator(RBC).The asymptotical stability of proposed control scheme is analyzed and designed according to the Lyapunov stability criterion,and its convergence against the system uncertain disturbance is verified on a prototype PMSM servo platform and shows good performance in rotor angular position tracking and anti-interference.Longfei Li Jie Xiao Yun Zhao Kan Liu Xiaoyan Peng Haozhe Luan Kaiqing Li 2020CES Transactions on Electrical Machines and Systems2020,4,2:13
2Key residues of the receptor binding motif in the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2 that interact with ACE2 and neutralizing antibodies显示文摘Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),caused by the novel human coronavirus SARS-CoV-2,is currently a major threat to public health worldwide.The viral spike protein binds the host receptor angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(ACE2)via the receptor-binding domain(RBD),and thus is believed to be a major target to block viral entry.Both SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV share this mechanism.Here we functionally analyzed the key amino acid residues located within receptor binding motif of RBD that may interact with human ACE2 and available neutralizing antibodies.The in vivo experiments showed that immunization with either the SARS-CoV RBD or SARS-CoV-2 RBD was able to induce strong clade-specific neutralizing antibodies in mice;however,the cross-neutralizing activity was much weaker,indicating that there are distinct antigenic features in the RBDs of the two viruses.This finding was confirmed with the available neutralizing monoclonal antibodies against SARS-CoV or SARS-CoV-2.It is worth noting that a newly developed SARS-CoV-2 human antibody,HA001,was able to neutralize SARS-CoV-2,but failed to recognize SARS-CoV.Moreover,the potential epitope residues of HA001 were identified as A475 and F486 in the SARS-CoV-2 RBD,representing new binding sites for neutralizing antibodies.Overall,our study has revealed the presence of different key epitopes between SARS-CoV and SARSCoV-2,which indicates the necessity to develop new prophylactic vaccine and antibody drugs for specific control of the COVID-19 pandemic although the available agents obtained from the SARS-CoV study are unneglectable.Chunyan Yi Xiaoyu Sun Jing Ye Longfei Ding Meiqin Liu Zhuo Yang Xiao Lu Yaguang Zhang Liyang Ma Wangpeng Gu Aidong Qu Jianqing Xu Zhengli Shi Zhiyang Ling Bing Sun 2020Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,6:13
3Mitigation of cross-eye jamming using a dual-polarization array显示文摘This paper presents an approach for mitigating the cross-eye jamming using a dual-polarization array. By transmitting a sum beam and a difference beam in two orthogonal polarimetric channels, a synthesized transmitted beam with spatially varying polarization is produced, such that the polarization of the transmitted radar wave varies in azimuth or elevation. Thus, the phases of the signals received on the two antennas of a cross-eye jammer become unequal, and an additional phase difference is introduced to disrupt the 180? phase shifting in the retrodirective loop of the jammer. By means of beam scanning in a small angular range,the optimal beam steering configuration can be found to maximize the phase error for the mitigation of cross-eye jamming. As a result, the jamming performance of the cross-eye jammer degrades largely. 4Full time-domain nonlinear coupled dynamic analysis of a truss spar and its mooring/riser system in irregular wave显示文摘A new full time-domain nonlinear coupled method has been established and then applied to predict the responses of a Truss Spar in irregular wave.For the coupled analysis,a second-order time-domain approach is developed to calculate the wave forces,and a finite element model based on rod theory is established in three dimensions in a global coordinate system.In numerical implementation,the higher-order boundary element method(HOBEM)is employed to solve the velocity potential,and the 4th-order Adams-Bashforth-Moultn scheme is used to update the second-order wave surface.In deriving convergent solutions,the hull displacements and mooring tensions are kept consistent at the fairlead and the motion equations of platform and mooring-lines/risers are solved simultaneously using Newmark-integration scheme including Newton-Raphson iteration.Both the coupled quasi-static analysis and the coupled dynamic analysis are performed.The numerical simulation results are also compared with the model test results,and they coincide very well as a whole.The slow-drift responses can be clearly observed in the time histories of displacements and mooring tensions.Some important characteristics of the coupled responses are concluded.YANG MinDong TENG Bin XIAO LongFei NING DeZhi SHI ZhongMin QU Yan 2014Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2014,57,1:8
5P3Stor: A parallel, durable flash-based SSD for enterprise-scale storage systems显示文摘Driven by data-intensive applications, flash-based solid state drives (SSDs) have become increasingly popular in enterprise-scale storage systems. Flash memory exhibits inherent parallelism. However, existing solid state drives have not fully exploited this superiority. We propose P3Stor, a parallel solid state storage architecture that makes full use of flash memory by utilizing module- and bus-level parallelisms to increase average bandwidth and employing chip-level interleaving to hide I/O latency. To improve the bandwidth utilization of traditional interface protocols (e.g., SATA), P3Stor adopts PCI-E interface to support concurrent transactions. Based on the proposed parallel architecture, we design a lazy flash translation layer (LazyFTL) to manage the address space. The proposed LazyFTL adopts flexible super page-level mapping scheme to support multi-level parallelisms. It is able to distinguish hot data from cold data, and hot data identification enables LazyFTL to direct hot and cold data to separate physical blocks, which reduces page migrations when reclaiming blocks. As garbage collector migrates fewer valid pages, write amplification is significantly reduced, which in turn helps to extend the life span. Moreover, LazyFTL rarely triggers wear-leveling process. The lazy wear-leveling mechanism protects users' requests from being disrupted by background operations. With the guidance of hot data identification, an intelligent write buffer is used to reduce program operations to flash chips. This is meaningful in extending P3Stor's life span. 6Polarization discrimination between repeater false-target and radar target显示文摘High fidelity repeater false-target badly affects a radar system's detecting, tracking, and data processing. It is an available approach of confronting false-target for radar that discriminates firstly and then eliminates. Whereas for the technique progress about the repeater false-target jam, it is more and more difficult to discriminate this jam in the time-domain, frequency-domain, or space-domain. The technique using polarization information to discriminate the target and false-target is discussed in this paper. With the difference that false-target signal vector's polarization ratio is fixed and target echo signal vector's polarization ratio is variational along with radar transmission signal's polarization, we transform the discrimination problem to beeline distinguish problem in the 2-dim complex space. The distributing characteristic expression of the false-target discrimination statistic is constructed, with which the discrimination ratio of false-target is analyzed. For the target case, the decomposed model of target scattering matrix and the concept of distinguish quantity are proposed. Then, the discrimination ratio of target can be forecasted according to target distinguish quantity. Thus, the performance of discrimination method has been analyzed integrally. 7Experimental and numerical investigation of the roll motion behavior of a floating liquefied natural gas system显示文摘The present paper does an experimental and numerical investigation of the hydrodynamic interaction and the response of a single point turret-moored Floating Liquefied Natural Gas(FLNG) system,which is a new type of floating LNG(Liquid Natural Gas) platform that consists of a ship-type FPSO hull equipped with LNG storage tanks and liquefaction plants.In particular,this study focuses on the investigation of the roll response of FLNG hull in free-decay motions,white noise waves and also in irregular waves.Model tests of the FLNG system in 60%H filling condition excited by both white noise waves and irregular waves combined with steady wind and current have been carried out.Response Amplitude Operators(RAOs) and time histories of the responses are obtained for sway,roll and yaw motions.Obvious Low Frequency(LF) components of the roll motions are observed,which may be out of expectation.To facilitate the physical understanding of this phenomenon,we filter the roll motions at the period of 30 s into two parts:the Wave Frequency(WF) motions and the Low Frequency(LF) motions respectively.The results indicate that the LF motions are closely related to the sway and yaw motions.Possible reasons for the presence of the LF motions of roll have been discussed in detail,through the comparison with the sway and yaw motions.As for the numerical part,the simulation of the modeled case is conducted with the help of the software SESAM.A good agreement between experiments and calculations is reported within the scope of trends.However,the numerical simulations should be further improved for the prediction of the FLNG system in the heading sea.ZHAO WenHua YANG JianMin HU ZhiQiang XIAO LongFei PENG Tao 2013Science China Chemistry2013,56,3:3
8From pollen actin to crop male sterility显示文摘Actin plays an important role in the life activity of animal and plant cells. Pollen cells have plenty of actin whose structure and characteristics are very similar to the animal actin. The nucleotide sequence and amino acid sequence of plant actin gene are very similar to those of the animal gene. The content of pollen actin from male sterile plants is much more lower than that from its maintainer plants. The expression of actin gene is organ-specific during the plant development. The expression quantity of actin gene in pollen is much more higher than those from root, stem and leaf. The expression plasmid of the anti-sense actin gene was constructed, transferred to the protoplasts of wheat and tomato to inhibit the expression of actin gene in pollen and thus the male sterile plants of wheat and tomato were obtained. The actin in pollens from the transgenic plants was reduced significantly, whereas the pistil was not affected. 9Nonvolatile memristor based on heterostructure of 2D room-temperature ferroelectric α-In2Se3 and WSe2显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D) ferroelectricity is considered to have significant potential for information storage in the future. Semiconducting ferroelectrics that are stable at room temperature afford many possibilities for the assembly of various high-performance heterostructures and fabricating multifuntional devices.Herein, we report the synthesis of a stable van der Waals(vd W) single-crystal semiconductor α-In2 Se3.Piezoresponse force microscopy(PFM) measurements demonstrated the out-of-plane ferroelectricity in ~15 layers α-In2 Se3 at room temperature. Both ferroelectric domains with opposite polarization and the tested amplitude and phase curve proved that this semiconductor exhibits hysteresis behavior during polarization.In the α-In2Se3/WSe2 vertical heterostructure device, the switchable diode effect and nonvolatile memory phenomenon showed a high on/off ratio and a small switching voltage. The distinct resistance switches were further analyzed by band alignment of the heterostructure under different polarizations by first principle calculations. 10Frequency/time domain modeling of a direct drive point absorber wave energy converter显示文摘Two different methods to model a point absorber wave energy converter(WEC)with direct drive linear power take-off(PTO)are proposed in the present study:the frequency domain(FD)method and the time domain(TD)method.In the FD analysis,the frequency response function(FRF)of the WEC device is obtained via the equation of motion,and the expressions of power capture width in regular and random waves are derived as well.In the TD modeling,based on a state space approximation of the convolution term in the motion equation,both regular wave and random wave simulations are carried out.The regular wave simulation results indicate that the state space approximation is sufficiently accurate and the capture width reaches the maximum in the vicinity of the natural frequency.In the random wave simulations,the effects of buoy size,the PTO damping and wave climate on the power capture width are discussed in detail,which leads to the conclusion that the capture widths are influenced by the natural frequency of the WEC device,peak frequency of the wave spectrum,the amplitude of FRF and PTO damping.Furthermore,the increase of the capture width is at the cost of a relatively large buoy size and PTO damping when control is not included.CHENG ZhengShun YANG JianMin HU ZhiQiang XIAO LongFei 2014Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2014,57,2:2
11Natural astaxanthin enhanced antioxidant capacity and improved semen quality through the MAPK/Nrf2 pathway in aging layer breeder roosters显示文摘Background:Natural astaxanthin(ASTA)has strong antioxidant properties and has been widely used as a health product to improve human health.However,the effects of ASTA on the reproductive performance of aging roosters have been poorly studied.We aimed to investigate the effects of dietary ASTA on semen quality and antioxidant capacity in aging roosters and to explore the potential mechanism of semen quality change via antioxidation defense system.Methods:In the present study,9653-week-old Jinghong No.1 layer breeder roosters were fed a corn-soybean meal basal diet containing 0,25,50,or 100 mg/kg ASTA for 6 weeks.Results:Semen quality in the ASTA groups remarkably improved than that in the control group,and antioxidant activities,the abilities to scavenge hydroxyl radicals and superoxide anions,increased gradually with ASTA addition(P<0.05).In addition,the mRNA levels of antioxidant enzymes as well as the mRNA and protein levels of the mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)and nuclear factor-erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2)were markedly increased in the 50-100 mg/kg ASTA group(P<0.05).Conclusions:Collectively,these results demonstrate that dietary ASTA may improve semen quality by increasing antioxidant enzyme activities and the ability to scavenge hydroxyl radicals,which may be related to upregulation of the MAPK/Nrf2 pathway.Shan Gao Nuo Heng Fang Liu Yong Guo Yu Chen Liang Wang Hemin Ni Xihui Sheng Xiangguo Wang Kai Xing Longfei Xiao Xiaolong Qi 2022Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,2:2
12Characterization of Mediterranean Magnetotactic Bacteria显示文摘Magnetotactic bacteria are a diverse group of motile prokaryotes that are ubiquitous in aquatic habitats and cosmopolitan in distribution. In this study, we collected magnetotactic bacteria from the Mediterranean Sea. A remarkable diversity of morphotypes was observed, including multicellular types that seemed to differ from those previously found in North and South America. Another interesting organism was one with magnetosomes arranged in a six-stranded bundle which occupied one third of the cell width. The magnetosome bundle was evident even under optic microscopy. These cells were connected together and swam as a linear entire unit. Magnetosomes did not always align up to form a straight linear chain. A chain composed of rectangle magnetosomes bent at a posi- tion with an oval crystal. High resolution transmission electron microscopy analysis of the crystal at the pivotal position suggested uncompleted formation of the crystal. 18Approaching 19%efficiency and stable binary polymer solar cells enabled by a solidification strategy of solvent additive显示文摘Additives play a crucial role in enhancing the photovoltaic performance of polymer solar cells(PSCs).However,the typical additives used to optimize blend morphology of PSCs are still high boiling-point solvents,while their trace residues may reduce device stability.Herein,an effective strategy of“solidification of solvent additive(SSA)”has been developed to convert additive from liquid to solid,by introducing a covalent bond into low-cost solvent diphenyl sulfide(DPS)to synthesize solid dibenzothiophene(DBT)in one-step,which achieves optimized morphology thus promoting efficiency and device stability.Owing to the fine planarity and volatilization of DBT,the DBT-processed films achieve ordered molecular crystallinity and suitable phase separation compared to the additive-free or DPS-treated ones.Importantly,the DBT-processed device also possesses improved light absorption,enhanced charge transport,and thus a champion efficiency of 17.9%is achieved in the PM6:Y6-based PSCs with an excellent additive component tolerance,reproducibility,and stability.Additionally,the DBT-processed PM6:L8-BO-based PSCs are further fabricated to study the universality of SSA strategy,offering an impressive efficiency approaching19%as one of the highest values in binary PSCs.In conclusion,this article developed a promising strategy named SSA to boost efficiency and improve stability of PSCs.Manjun Xiao Longfei Liu Yongdie Meng Baobing Fan Wenyan Su Conggui Jin Luocheng Liao Fan Yi Chao Xu Rui Zhang Alex K.-Y.Jen Wei Ma Qunping Fan 2023Science China Chemistry2023,66,5:1
19Environmental selection and evolutionary process jointly shape genomic and functional profiles of mangrove rhizosphere microbiomes显示文摘Mangrove reforestation with introduced species has been an important strategy to restore mangrove ecosystem functioning.However,how such activities affect microbially driven methane(CH4),nitrogen(N),and sulfur(S)cycling of rhizosphere microbiomes remains unclear.To understand the effect of environmental selection and the evolutionary process on microbially driven biogeochemical cycles in native and introduced mangrove rhizospheres,we analyzed key genomic and functional profiles of rhizosphere microbiomes from native and introduced mangrove species by metagenome sequencing technologies.Compared with the native mangrove(Kandelia obovata,KO),the introduced mangrove(Sonneratia apetala,SA)rhizosphere microbiome had significantly(p<0.05)higher average genome size(AGS)(5.8 vs.5.5 Mb),average 16S ribosomal RNA gene copy number(3.5 vs.3.1),relative abundances of mobile genetic elements,and functional diversity in terms of the Shannon index(7.88 vs.7.84)but lower functional potentials involved in CH4 cycling(e.g.,mcrABCDG and pmoABC),N2 fixation(nifHDK),and inorganic S cycling(dsrAB,dsrC,dsrMKJOP,soxB,sqr,and fccAB).Similar results were also observed from the recovered Proteobacterial metagenome-assembled genomes with a higher AGS and distinct functions in the introduced mangrove rhizosphere.Additionally,salinity and ammonium were identified as the main environmental drivers of functional profiles of mangrove rhizosphere microbiomes through deterministic processes.This study advances our understanding of microbially mediated biogeochemical cycling of CH_(4),N,and S in the mangrove rhizosphere and provides novel insights into the influence of environmental selection and evolutionary processes on ecosystem functions,which has important implications for future mangrove reforestation.Xiaoli Yu Qichao Tu Jihua Liu Yisheng Peng Cheng Wang Fanshu Xiao Yingli Lian Xueqin Yang Ruiwen Hu Huang Yu Lu Qian Daoming Wu Ziying He Longfei Shu Qiang He Yun Tian Faming Wang Shanquan Wang Bo Wu Zhijian Huang Jianguo He Qingyun Yan Zhili He 2023mLife2023,2,3:0
20Surgical treatment of large pheochromocytoma(>6 cm):A 10-year single-center experience显示文摘Objective:Clinical practice guidelines recommend open adrenalectomy(OA)for large pheochromocytoma(LPCC)>6 cm in size.Although laparoscopic adrenalectomy(LA)for the treatment of LPCC has been reported,its role remains unclear.This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of LA and OA,and summary the surgical treatment experience.Methods:Data concerning LPCC,from January 2010 to June 2019 of a single institution,were retrospectively reviewed.Altogether 82 patients with a tumor larger than 6 cm were included(52 patients in LA group and 30 patients in OA group).Groups were balanced by propensity score matching(PSM)into 15 pairs.Patients’demographics,preoperative characteristics,and prognosis were analyzed.Results:Before PSM,the OA group had larger tumor sizes(median[interquartile range,IQR]:8.9[7.3-10.3]vs.7.2[6.7-8.0]cm;p=0.000)and higher vanillylmandelic acid level(median[IQR]:114.3[67.8-326.4]vs.66.6[37.8-145.8]μmol/24 h;p=0.004)and needed a higher cumulative dose of prazosin(median[IQR]:83.5[37.0-154.0]vs.38.0[21.0-81.0]mg;p=0.028).After PSM,the baseline data showed no significant differences between both groups.The LA group had relatively more stable blood pressure in surgery,with a lower fluctuation of systolic blood pressure(mean±standard deviation[SD]:70.9±25.1 vs.107.4±46.2 mmHg,p=0.012)and a lower percentage of hemodynamic instability(46.7%vs.86.7%,p=0.020).The LA group had shorter postoperative hospital stays(mean±SD:6.4±2.7 vs.10.1±3.4 days;p=0.003)than the OA group.Differences regarding metastasis rate(6.7%vs.0,p=1.000)were not statistically significant between LA and OA groups.The median(IQR)follow-up time of 82 patients was 72.5(47.0-103.5)months.Binary logistic regression showed that right-side tumors or those>8 cm in size were independent risk factors of OA.Conclusion:LA is a safe,minimally invasive procedure for LPCC and has relatively better perioperative characteristics in large medical centers.Patients with tumors on the right side or larger than 8 cm are more likely to undergo OA initially.Liang Zhang Danlei Chen Yingxian Pang Xiao Guan Xiaowen Xu Cikui Wang Qiao Xiao Longfei Liu 2022Asian Journal of Urology2022,9,3:0
