| 3 | Investigation on MoS_2 and Graphite Coatings and Their Effects on the Tribological Properties of the Radial Spherical Plain Bearings显示文摘With constant enlargement of the application areas of the spherical plain bearings,higher quality lubrication of the bearings is required.To solve the lubricating problems of spherical plain bearings under high temperature,high vacuum,high speed,heavy loads and strong oxidation conditions,it is urgent for us to develop more excellent self-lubricating technologies.In this paper,the bonded solid lubricant coatings,which use inorganic phosphate as the binder,the mixture of MoS_2 and graphite with two different weight proportions as the solid lubricant,are prepared by spraying under three different spray gun pressures.The bonding strength tests on the coatings show that the best spraying pressure is 0.2 MPa and the better mixing proportion of MoS_2 to Graphite is 3:1.Then for the radial spherical plain bearings with steel/steel friction pair,after the coatings are made on the inner ring outer surfaces,the friction coefficient,the wear loss and the friction temperature of the bearings under four oscillating frequencies are investigated by a self-made tribo-tester.The test results,SEM of the worn morphologies and EDS of worn areas show that tribological properties of the bearing are obviously improved by the bonded solid lubricant coatings.When sprayed under the spray gun pressure of 0.2 MPa,the bearings have better anti-friction and anti-wear properties than those sprayed under 0.1 MPa and 0.3 MPa.Further as proved from the XPS analysis,between the coating with 3:1 mixing ratio of MoS_2 to Graphite and the coating with 1:1 ratio,the former has less oxidation occurred on the surface and therefore has better tribological characteristics than the latter.This paper provides a reference to developing a new product of the radial spherical plain bearings with high bonding strength,oxidation resistance and abrasion resistance. | QIU Ming LU Jianjun LI Yingchun LV Guisen | 2016 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2016,29,4: | 8 |

| 7 | Seasonal variations of carboxylic acids and their contributions to the rainwater acidity: A case study of Guiyang and Shangzhong,China显示文摘Low molecule weight carboxylic acids are ubiquitous and important chemical constituents in the troposphere.Seven carboxylic acids in the rainwater of Guiyang and Shangzhong were simultaneously determined by ion chromatography from April 2006 to April 2007.Formic, acetic and oxalic acids were found to be the predominant carboxylic acids.Their volume weighted average concentration (VWA) in the rainwater of Guiyang were 14.24 μmol/L, 9.35 μmol/L and 2.79 μmol/L, respectively;as compared to 4.95 μmol/L, 1.35 μmol/L and 2.31 μmol/L in the rainwater of Shangzhong.In Shangzhong it is witnessed that the concentra-tions of these acids were higher in the summer than in the winter and direct emissions from vegetations or soils may account for the main provenance of the acids.This is, however, not the case in Guiyang, where the concentrations of the carboxylic acids were higher during the non-growing season than during the growing season.The relatively weak scavenging affected by scarce and little rainwater as well as the particles accompanied with the rainfall may have some effect on the carboxylic acids during the wintertime in Guiyang.Carboxylic acids in the rainwater of Guiyang were estimated to account for 18.7% to the free acidity, where formic, acetic and oxalic acids accounted for 7.9%, 4.7%, 6.1%, respectively.In Shangzhong, the 3 primary carboxylic acids represented 58.1% to the free acidity where formic, acetic and oxalic acids represented 25.1%, 7.5%, 25.5%, respectively.Carboxylic anions accounted for 6.6% (1.7%–19.2%) to the total anions in the rainwater of Guiyang.Carboxylic anions repre-sented 13.2% (0.5%–92.2%) to the total anions in the rainwater of Shangzhong.These results indicated that carboxylic acids were the important contributors to the rainwater acidity, especially in remote regions. | XU Gang LEE XinQing LU YingChun CHEN YingJun HUANG DaiKuan | 2010 | Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,16: | 5 |

| 9 | A novel BIST scheme for circuit aging measurement of aerospace chips显示文摘The avionics working environment is bad, easy to accelerate aging of circuits. Circuit aging is one of the important factors that influence the reliability of avionics, so circuit aging testing is of great significance to improve the reliability of avionics. As continuing aging would degrade circuit performance, aging can be monitored through precise measurement of performance degradation. However, previous methods for predicting circuit performance have limited prediction accuracy. In this paper, we propose a novel Built-In Self-Test(BIST) scheme for circuit aging measurement, which constructs self-oscillation loops employing parts of critical paths and activates oscillations by specific test patterns. An aging signature counter is then used to capture the oscillation frequency and in turn measure the aging state of the circuit. We propose to implement this measurement process by BIST. Experimental results show that the proposed in-field aging measurement is robust with respect to process variations and can achieve a precision of about 90%. | 11 | Genotypic variation in spatiotemporal distribution of canopy light interception in relation to yield formation in cotton显示文摘Background: Within-canopy interception of photosynthetically active radiation(PAR) impacts yield and other agronomic traits in cotton(Gossypium hirsutum L.). Field experiments were conducted to investigate the influence of 6 cotton varieties(they belong to 3 different plant types) on yield, yield distribution, light interception(LI), LI distribution and the relationship between yield formation and LI in Anyang, Henan, in 2014 and 2015.Result: The results showed that cotton cultivars with long branches(loose-type) intercepted more LI than did cultivars with short branches(compact-type), due to increased LI in the middle and upper canopy. Although loose-type varieties had greater LI, they did not yield significantly higher than compact-type varieties, due to decreased harvest index. Therefore, improving the harvest index by adjusting the source-to-sink relationship may further increase cotton yield for loose-type cotton. In addition, there was a positive relationship between reproductive organ biomass accumulation and canopy-accumulated LI, indicating that enhancing LI is important for yield improvement for each cultivar. | 12 | Influence of post-grown treatments on CuInS_2 thin films prepared by sulphurization of Cu-In films显示文摘Polycrystalline CuInS2 (CIS) films were prepared by sulphurization of Cu-In films. The surface morphology and phase composition of the as-grown film, the KCN-etched film, and the annealed KCN-etched film were investigated. During the sulphurization, the secondary CuxS phase segregated on the surface of the as-grown films. To improve the crystalline quality of CuInS2 films, a series of post-grown treatments, such as KCN-etching and vacuum annealing KCN-etched films, were performed on the as-grown films. Both as-grown and post-treated films were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). The results indicated that a CuxS secondary phase segregated on the surface of the as-grown film, which could be removed effectively by KCN etching. After the vacuum annealing treatment, the KCN-etched film had a sphalerite structure with (112) preferred orientation. | 14 | Cryptococcus neoformans,a global threat to human health显示文摘Background Emerging fungal pathogens pose important threats to global public health. The World Health Organization has responded to the rising threat of traditionally neglected fungal infections by developing a Fungal Priority Pathogens List (FPPL). Taking the highest-ranked fungal pathogen in the FPPL,Cryptococcus neoformans, as a paradigm, we review progress made over the past two decades on its global burden, its clinical manifestation and management of cryptococcal infection, and its antifungal resistance. The purpose of this review is to drive research efforts to improve future diagnoses, therapies, and interventions associated with fungal infections.Methods We first reviewed trends in the global burden of HIV-associated cryptococcal infection, mainly based on a series of systematic studies. We next conducted scoping reviews in accordance with the guidelines described in the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses extension for Scoping Reviews using PubMed and ScienceDirect with the keywordCryptococcus neoformans to identify case reports of cryptococcal infections published since 2000. We then reviewed recent updates on the diagnosis and antifungal treatment of cryptococcal infections. Finally, we summarized knowledge regarding the resistance and tolerance ofC. neoformans to approved antifungal drugs.Results There has been a general reduction in the estimated global burden of HIV-associated cryptococcal meningitis since 2009, probably due to improvements in highly active antiretroviral therapies. However, cryptococcal meningitis still accounts for 19% of AIDS-related deaths annually. The incidences of CM in Europe and North America and the Latin America region have increased by approximately two-fold since 2009, while other regions showed either reduced or stable numbers of cases. Unfortunately, diagnostic and treatment options for cryptococcal infections are limited, and emerging antifungal resistance exacerbates the public health burden.Conclusions The rising threat ofC. neoformans is compounded by accumulating evidence for its ability to infect immunocompetent individuals and the emergence of antifungal-resistant variants. Emphasis should be placed on further understanding the mechanisms of pathogenicity and of antifungal resistance and tolerance.
