| 2 | Optimum location of surface wells for remote pressure relief coalbed methane drainage in mining areas显示文摘Based on engineering tests in the Huainan coal mining area,we studied alternative well location to improve the performance of surface wells for remote pressure relief of coalbed methane in mining areas.The key factors,affecting location and well gas production were analyzed by simulation tests for similar material.The exploitation results indicate that wells located in various positions on panels could achieve relatively better gas production in regions with thin Cenozoic layers,low mining heights and slow rate of longwall advancement,but their periods of gas production lasted less than 230 days,as opposed to wells in regions with thick Cenozoic layers,greater mining heights and fast rates of longwall advancement.Wells near panel margins achieved relatively better gas production and lasted longer than centerline wells.The rules of development of mining fractures in strata over panels control gas production of surface wells.Mining fractures located in areas determined by lines of compaction and the effect of mining are well developed and can be maintained for long periods of time.Placing the well at the end of panels and on the updip return airway side of panels,determined by lines of compaction and the effect of mining,would result in surface wells for remote pressure relief CBM obtaining their longest gas production periods and highest cumulative gas production. | HUANG, Huazhou SANG, Shuxun FANG, Liangcai LI, Guojun XU, Hongjie REN, Bo | 2010 | Mining Science and Technology2010,20,2: | 9 |
| 3 | Single-shot lensless imaging with fresnel zone aperture and incoherent illumination显示文摘Lensless imaging eliminates the need for geometric isomorphism between a scene and an image while allowing the construction of compact,lightweight imaging systems.However,a challenging inverse problem remains due to the low reconstructed signal-to-noise ratio.Current implementations require multiple masks or multiple shots to denoise the reconstruction.We propose single-shot lensless imaging with a Fresnel zone aperture and incoherent illumination.By using the Fresnel zone aperture to encode the incoherent rays in wavefront-like form,the captured pattern has the same form as the inline hologram.Since conventional backpropagation reconstruction is troubled by the twin-image problem,we show that the compressive sensing algorithm is effective in removing this twin-image artifact due to the sparsity in natural scenes.The reconstruction with a significantly improved signal-to-noise ratio from a single-shot image promotes a camera architecture that is flat and reliable in its structure and free of the need for strict calibration. | Jiachen Wu Hua Zhang Wenhui Zhang Guofan Jin Liangcai Cao George Barbastathis | 2020 | Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1: | 8 |
| 4 | Presenilin 2 deficiency facilitates Aβ-induced neuroinflammation and injury by upregulating P2X7 expression显示文摘Accumulating evidence suggests that β-amyloid (Aβ)-induced neuroinflammation plays a prominent and early role in Alzheimer’s disease (AD). In this study, we demonstrated that Presenilin 2 (PS2) deficiency facilitates Aβ-induced neuroinflammation and injury by upregulating P2X7 expression both in vitro and in vivo. PS2 knockout mice demonstrated increased cognitive impairments and cerebral injury. PS2 deficiency increased the expression of P2X7 both in neurons and microglial cells.Furthermore, extracellular ATP also increased in both Aβ-treated and untreated PS2 knockout microglial cells. Notably, Aβ-induced classical proinflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β, IL-1α and TNF-α were increased in PS2 knockout microglial cells, suggesting a potential role for PS2 in the regulation of neuroinflammation. The expression of P2X7 clearly increased in PS2 knockdown BV2 cells. Consistent with in vivo data, Aβ-induced IL-1β production was also clearly enhanced in PS2 knockdown BV2 cells. Additionally, expression of the transcription factor Sp1 was increased in PS2 knockdown cells. When we treated PS2 knockdown cells with the specific Sp1 inhibitor MIT, we observed that enhanced P2X7 expression was significantly rescued. | 6 | From octahedral structure motif to sub-nanosecond phase transitions in phase change materials for data storage显示文摘Phase change random access memory(PCRAM) has been successfully applied in the computer storage architecture, as storage class memory, to bridge the performance gap between DRAM and Flashbased solid-state drive due to its good scalability, 3 D-integration ability, fast operation speed and compatible with CMOS technology. Focusing on phase change materials and PCRAM for decades, we have successfully developed 128 Mb embedded PCRAM chips, which can meet the requirements of most embedded systems.3 D Xpoint(3 D PCRAM), invented by Intel and Micron, has been regarded as a new breakthrough in the last 25 years since the application of NAND in 1989, which represents state-of-the-art memory technology.This technology has some remarkable features, such as the confined device structure with 20 nm size, the metal crossbar electrodes to reduce the resistance variations in PCRAM arrays, and the ovonic threshold switching selector that can provide a high drive current and a low leakage current. A good understanding of phase change mechanism is of great help to design new phase change materials with fast operation speed,low power consumption and long-lifetime. In this paper, we firstly review the development of PCRAM and different understandings on phase change mechanisms in recent years, and then propose a new view on the mechanism, which is based on the octahedral structure motifs and vacancies. Octahedral structure motifs are generally found in both amorphous and crystalline phase change materials. They are considered to be the basic units during phase transition, which are severely defective in the amorphous phase. These configurations turn into more ordered ones after minor local rearrangements, the growth of which results in the crystallization of rocksalt(RS) phase with a large amount of vacancies in the cation sites. Further driven by thermodynamic driving force, these vacancies move and layer along certain directions; consequently, the metastable RS structure transforms into the stable hexagonal(HEX) structure. Based on our results, we find that reversible phase transition between amorphous phase and RS phase, without further changing into HEX phase, would greatly decrease the required power consumption. | 13 | Construction of single-chromosome DNA library from Lilium regale Wilson显示文摘A protocol of simple rapid microdissection of single-chromosome, amplification and cloning of its DNA from Lilium regale Wilson is described. Single-chromosome, microdissected by micromanipulator, was put into a 0 5 mL Eppendorf tube and digested with Sau3A, and then the Sau3A linker adaptors were ligated to the ends of DNA fragments. After 2 rounds of PCR amplification with one chain of linker adaptor as primer, the PCR products thus obtained have a length of 300-2 500 base pairs (bp) with predominant fragments at about 1 000 bp. Southern blot analysis confirmed that the PCR products originated from the genome of Lilium regale Wilson. By cloning the amplification products from the second round of PCR, single-chromosome DNA library was constructed, in which about as many as 100 000 recombinant clones were produced. A total number of 84 clones were analysed, and it was revealed that the inserts ranged in size from 300 to 1 800 bp, with an average of 780 bp. | 18 | Experimental Analysis of Microscale Laser Shock Processing on Metallic Material Using Excimer Laser显示文摘Microscale laser shock processing (μLSP), also known as laser shock processing in microscale, is a technique that uses microscale focused laser beam to induce high pressure plasma and generates plastic deformation and compressive residual stress in target materials, thus improves fatigue or stress corrosion cracking resistance of MEMS (Micro Electromechanical Systems) devices made of such a material. Many works have been reported about the research and experiment for μLSP. But the diameters of 50–200 μm were used at the first time for this field, which was useful for treating micro-device components with larger area and curved surface. The excimer laser was used firstly on μLSP for shorter wavelength than that of used in previous researches. The determination method of laser spot size at micro-level spatial resolution was presented. Under these conditions, plastic deformation, the stress analysis and microhardness with different pulse number, pulse energy and pulse spacing were investigated. Especially the residual stress distribution with depth treated by μLSP, was first investigated.
