14MULTI-DISPLACEMENT CONTINUUM MODEL WITH LOCAL RESONANCE显示文摘We propose a multi-displacement continuum (MDC) model to characterize the local resonance presented in a lattice system. Dispersion curves in a mass-in-mass system are studied and compared to the single-displacement model. It is shown that the dispersive relations and the local resonant band gap structures can be adequately described. The acoustic mode can be accurately predicted, while the optical mode is correctly predicted for certain frequency range, where the wave length is large enough. 15Structural and optical properties of periodically ordered ZnO nanowires显示文摘Periodically ordered ZnO nanowire arrays were fabricated by a combination of soft templates created by electron beam lithography and an electrochemical process. Individual ZnO nanowires were precisely placed in desired locations to form two-dimensional periodic structures with specific patterns. Scanning electron microscopy and light diffraction measurements confirmed the long-range ordered structures in the nanowire arrays. Variable temperature photoluminescence revealed both band edge and defect emissions.
