| 1 | Chemical weathering and CO_2 consumption of a high-erosion-rate karstic river: a case study of the Sanchahe River, southwest China显示文摘The Sanchahe River in southwest China is a tributary of the Wujiang River and experiences high erosion rates. Geochemical analysis was conducted on Sanchahe River basin samples collected in the wet and dry seasons of 2014 in order to better understand local chemical weathering processes, anthropogenic influences, and associated CO2 consumption. The samples' total dissolved solid concentrations were found to be significantly higher than that of the global river average. Ca2+was the dominant cation in the samples and accounted for 64 % and73 % of the total cations in the dry and wet seasons,respectively. HCO3-and SO42-were the dominant anions,accounting for 92 % of the total anions. Stoichiometry analyses of the river waters suggested that the water chemistry is controlled by carbonate dissolution by both carbonic and sulfuric acid. The chemical weathering rates of carbonate and silicate evaporites in the Sanchahe River basin were estimated to be approximately 109.2 and 11.0 t/(km2a), respectively, much higher than both the global mean values and the Wujiang River, a typical karstic river.The CO2 consumption by carbonate and silicate weathering are estimated to be 597.4 9 103 and 325.5 9 103mol/(km2a), which are much higher than corresponding values in the Wujiang River, indicating a high erosion rate in the Sanchahe River basin. | Yanling An Yiliang Hou Qixin Wu Lin Qing Longbo Li | 2015 | Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2015,34,4: | 4 |
| 2 | Dynamics of soil organic carbon following land-use change:insights from stable C-isotope analysis in black soil of Northeast China显示文摘Intensive soil tillage is a significant factor in soil organic matter decline in cultivated soils. Both cultivation abandonment and foregoing tillage have been encouraged in the past 30 years to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and soil erosion. However, the dynamic processes of soil organic carbon (SOC) in areas of either continuous cultivation or abandonment remain unclear and inconsistent.Our aims were to assess and model the dynamic processes of SOC under continuous tillage and after cultivation abandonment in the black soil of Northeast China. Soil profiles were collected of cultivated or abandoned land with cultivation history of 0–100 years. An isotope mass balance equation was used to calculate the proportion of SOC derived from corn debris (C_4) and from natural vegetation (C_3) to deduce the dynamic process. Approximately 40% of SOC in the natural surface soil (0–10 cm) was eroded in the first 5 years of cultivation, increasing to about 75% within 40 years, before a slow recovery. C_4 above 30 cm soil depth increased by 4.5%–5% or 0.11–0.12 g·kg^(-1) on average per year under continuous cultivation, while it decreased by approximately 0.34% annually in the surface soil after cultivation abandonment.The increase in the percentage of C_4 was fitted to a linear equation with given intercepts in the upper 30 cm of soil in cultivated land. A significant relationship between the change of C_4 and time was found only in the surface soil after abandonment of cultivation. | 3 | Study on Sampling Technique of Atmospheric Radionuclide显示文摘Atmospheric radionuclide monitoring usually includes two sampling techniques,namely ultra-high volume aerosol samplers to collect atmospheric particles by using filter media,and radioactive noble gas samplers to collect atmospheric noble gas based on adsorption method. Atmospheric sampling techniques have been researched in Northwest Institute of Nuclear Technology since the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty( CTBT) was signed in 1996. Several ultra-high volume aerosol samplers and some types of radioactive xenon isotopes samplers had been developed. For the aerosol sampler,the sampling flow is between 450 and 800 m3/h,with the minimum detectable concentration( MDC) of131 I less than5 μBq /m3. For the xenon sampler,the sampling capacity of xenon is more than 4 ml per day,with MDC of133 Xe less than 0. 25 mBq /m3. | 8 | A hybrid lithium sulfonated polyoxadiazole derived single-ion conducting gel polymer electrolyte enabled effective suppression of dendritic lithium growth显示文摘Lithium metal is deemed as an ideal anode material in lithium-ion batteries because of its ultrahigh theoretical specific capacity and the lowest redox potential.However,the rapid capacity attenuation and inferior security resulting from the dendritic lithium growth severely limit its commercialization.Herein a novel hybrid gel polymer electrolyte (GPE) based on electrospun lithium sulfonated polyoxadiazole (LiSPOD) nanofibrous membrane swelled by lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (Li TFSI) ether liquid electrolyte is proposed to address the issue of lithium dendrites.The Li-SPOD membrane synthesized by a simple one-pot method exhibits excellent mechanical strength and thermal resistance due to its high molecular weight and rigid backbone.The electron-withdrawing oxadiazole ring and oxadiazole ring-Li;complex,and N,O heteroatoms with lone pairs of electrons in Li-SPOD macromolecular chains facilitate the dissociation of-SO_(3)Li group and Li^(+)transference.The hybrid Li-SPOD GPE exhibits both a high lithium-ion transference number (0.64) and high ionic conductivity (2.03 m S/cm) as well as superior interfacial compacity with lithium anodes.The Li Fe PO_(4)-Li cell using this novel GPE can operate steadily at 2C for 300 cycles,remaining a high discharge capacity of 125 m Ah/g and dendrite-free anode.Remarkable performance improvements for the Li-Li and Cu-Li cells are also presented. | Dazhe Li Longbo Luo Jiadeng Zhu Haimei Qin Pengqing Liu Zhaomei Sun Yi Lei Mengjin Jiang | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,2: | 1 |

| 11 | Investigating aldehyde and ketone compounds produced from indoor cooking emissions and assessing their health risk to human beings显示文摘Aldehyde and ketone compounds are ubiquitous in the air and prone to adverse effects on human health.Cooking emission is one of the major indoor sources.Aiming to evaluate health risks associated with inhalation exposure to aldehyde and ketone compounds,13 carbonyl compounds(CCs)released from heating 5 edible oils,3 seasonings,and 2 dishes were investigated in a kitchen laboratory.For the scenarios of heating five types of oil,aldehydes accounted for 61.1%-78.0%of the total emission,mainly acetaldehyde,acrolein and hexanal.Comparatively,heating oil with added seasonings released greater concentrations of aldehyde and ketone compounds.The concentration enhancement of larger molecular aldehydes was significantly greater.The emission factors of aldehyde and ketone compounds for cooking the dish of chili friedmeatweremuch greater compared to that of tomato fried eggs.Therefore,food materials also had a great impact on the aldehyde and ketone emissions.Acetone and acetaldehyde were the most abundant CCs in the kitchen.Acrolein concentrations ranged from 235.18 to 498.71μg/m^(3),which was about 100 times greater compared to the guidelines provided by Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment(OEHHA).The acetaldehyde inhalation for adultswas 856.83-1515.55μg and 56.23-192.79μg from exposure to chili fried meat and tomato fried eggs,respectively.This exceeds the reference value of 90μg/day provided by OEHHA.The findings of this study provided scientific evidences for the roles of cooking emissions on indoor air quality and human health. | Wei Zhang Zhe Bai Longbo Shi Jung Hyun Son Ling Li Lina Wang Jianmin Chen | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,5: | 0 |
| 12 | Development and application of a detection platform for colorectal cancer tumor sprouting pathological characteristics based on artificial intelligence显示文摘Objective Tumor sprouting can reflect independent risk factors for tumor malignancy and a poor clinical progno-sis.However,there are significant differences and difficulties associated with manually identifying tumor sprout-ing.This study used the Faster region convolutional neural network(RCNN)model to build a colorectal cancer tumor sprouting artificial intelligence recognition framework based on pathological sections to automatically identify the budding area to assist in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer.Methods We retrospectively collected 100 surgical pathological sections of colorectal cancer from January 2019 to October 2019.The pathologists used LabelImg software to identify tumor buds and to count their numbers.Finally,1,000 images were screened,and the total number of tumor buds was approximately 3,226;the images were randomly divided into a training set and a test set at a ratio of 6:4.After the images in the training set were manually identified,the identified buds in the 600 images were used to train the Faster RCNN identification model.After the establishment of the artificial intelligence identification detection platform,400 images in the test set were used to test the identification detection system to identify and predict the area and number of tumor buds.Finally,by comparing the results of the Faster RCNN system and the identification information of pathologists,the performance of the artificial intelligence automatic detection platform was evaluated to determine the area and number of tumor sprouting in the pathological sections of the colorectal cancers to achieve an auxiliary diagnosis and to suggest appropriate treatment.The selected performance indicators include accuracy,precision,specificity,etc.ROC(receiver operator characteristic)and AUC(area under the curve)were used to quantify the performance of the system to automatically identify tumor budding areas and numbers.Results The AUC of the receiver operating characteristic curve of the artificial intelligence detection and identi-fication system was 0.96,the image diagnosis accuracy rate was 0.89,the precision was 0.855,the sensitivity was 0.94,the specificity was 0.83,and the negative predictive value was 0.933.After 400 test sets,pathological image verification showed that there were 356 images with the same positive budding area count,and the difference between the positive area count and the manual detection count in the remaining images was less than 3.The detection system based on tumor budding recognition in pathological sections is comparable to that of patholo-gists’accuracy;however,it took significantly less time(0.03±0.01)s for the pathologist(13±5)s to diagnose the sections with the assistance of the AI model.Conclusion This system can accurately and quickly identify the tumor sprouting area in the pathological sections of colorectal cancer and count their numbers,which greatly improves the diagnostic efficacy,and effectively avoids the need for confirmation by different pathologists.The use of the AI reduces the burden of pathologists in reading sections and it has a certain clinical diagnosis and treatment value. | Jiaqi Lu Ruiqing Liu Yuejuan Zhang Xianxiang Zhang Longbo Zheng Chao Zhang Kaiming Zhang Shuai Li Yun Lu | 2022 | Intelligent Medicine2022,2,2: | 0 |

Its RF system design including mainly all simulation for coupler andtwo-port configuration have also calculated and analysed to be operated in continuous wave (CW) mode with 120kW forward power resulted from the simulated shunt impedance of 45.62 kΩ and accelerating voltage of 65 kV forRFQ resonator, respectively. The design and measurements for the power source, transmission line, two identicalcouplers and power transmission system, even final two-port configuration were finished in the beginning of 2014.Some valuable experiences were accumulated in the original power conditioning and beam experiments on a previousprototype RFQ, which has 560 keV output energy and one-meter size operated by the end of 2013[1].
