| 2 | Synthesis and thermal properties of poly(styrene-co-acrylonitrile)-graft-polyethylene glycol copolymers as novel solid–solid phase change materials for thermal energy storage显示文摘A novel poly(styrene-co-acrylonitrile)-graft-polyethylene glycol(SAN-g-PEG) copolymer was synthesized as new solid–solid phase change materials(SSPCMs) by grafting PEG to the main chain of poly(styrene-co-acrylonitrile). The chemical structure of the SAN-g-PEG was confirmed by the Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR) and proton nuclear magnetic resonance(1H NMR) spectroscopy techniques. The thermal energy storage properties and the storage durability of the SAN-g-PEG were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC). The SAN-g-PEG was endowed with the solid–solid phase transition temperatures within the range of 23–36 8C and the latent heat enthalpy ranged from 66.8 k J/kg to 68.3 k J/kg. Thermal cycling tests revealed that the SAN-g-PEG kept great heat storage durability after 1000 thermal cycles. The thermal stability was evaluated by a thermal gravity analysis(TGA), and the initial decomposition temperature(Td) of SAN-g-PEG is 350 8C, which proves that the SAN-g-PEG possessed good thermal stability. | Si-Yang Mu Jing Guo Yu-Mei Gong Sen Zhang Yue Yu | 2015 | Chinese Chemical Letters2015,26,11: | 9 |

| 7 | A non-contact flexible pyroelectric sensor for wireless physiological monitoring system显示文摘Recently,human physiological information wireless monitoring in real-time is particularly important in health analysis.As a solution,a non-contact wireless physiological monitoring system based on pyroelectric generator(Py G),whose core part consists of a wireless circuit processing module and a polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF)film,has been successfully designed.Owing to the temperature change under the stimulation of an external heat source,the output voltage of the Py G self-powered flexible sensor increases with the heat source temperature variation in the range of 295–355 K.Furthermore,based on the natural temperature oscillation between the living body and surrounding environment,the sensor can realize human physiological information assessment,for example,temperature monitoring of the palms,fingers,respiratory heat signals from mouth or nose or non-contact spatial heat mapping recognition of finger movement via sensor array.On this basis,a portable wireless monitoring system was designed by integrating the intelligent sensor with a signal conditioning circuit,data conversion storage module,Bluetooth module,and power module.This system can acquire real-time human oral or nasal breathing signals in the personal mobile app to evaluate the physiological state of individuals.Additionally,the wireless monitoring system can be activated within 10 m,demonstrating the application of Py G sensors in remote data transmission. | Jian HE Sen LI Xiaojuan HOU Yongjun ZHOU Hao LI Min CUI Tao GUO Xiangdong WANG Jiliang MU Wenping GENG Xiujian CHOU | 2022 | Science China(Information Sciences)2022,65,2: | 0 |
| 8 | Purification of heavy metal chromium in saturated sand by artificial freezing:Mechanism and method optimization显示文摘Heavy metal pollution of soil has become one of the most common hazards in human development.The artificial freezing method,especially the progressive freezing method,can reduce heavy metal pollutants in the soil and promises to be an effective in-situ treatment of contaminated sites.This study analyzes the freezing purification mechanism of heavy metal contaminants in saturated sand and identifies three main factors that impact the effects of purification:freezing rate,initial concentration,and diffusion coefficient.Moreover,one-dimensional freezing tests are carried out by different freezing modes.The experimental results show that the heavy metal chromium could only be removed effectively with a slow freezing rate.By optimizing the freezing mode and freezing rate,a long section of soil was frozen and purified,with the maximum purification rate reaching 65.8%.This study shows that it is feasible to treat contaminated saturated sand by a gradual-cooling freezing method. | JianZhou Wang HaiHang Wang Sen Yang GuoQing Zhou YanHu Mu | 2022 | Research in Cold and Arid Regions2022,14,6: | 0 |
