| 2 | Room temperature oxidation of acetone by ozone over alumina-supported manganese and cobalt mixed oxides显示文摘Volatile organic compounds(VOCs)are among the major sources of air pollution.Catalytic ozonation is an efficient process for removing VOCs at lower reaction temperature compared to catalytic oxidation.In this study,a series of alumina supported single and mixed manganese and cobalt oxides catalysts were used for ozonation of acetone at room temperature.The influence of augmenting the single Mn and Co catalysts were investigated on the performance and structure of the catalyst.The manganese and cobalt single and mixed oxides catalysts of the formula Mnl0%-CoX and Co10%-MnX(where X=0,2.5%,5%,or 10%)were prepared.It was found that addition of Mn and Co at lower loading levels(2.5%or 5%)to single metal oxide catalysts enhanced the catalytic activity.The mixed oxides catalysts of(Mnl0%-Co2.5%)and(Mn10%-Co5%)led to acetone conversion of about 84%.It is concluded that lower oxidation state of the secondary metal improves ozone decomposition and oxidation of acetone. | Mehraneh Ghavami Mostafa Aghbolaghy Jafar Soltan Ning Chen | 2020 | Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2020，14，6： | 2 |

| 6 | Widely distribution of hematological parameters in thalassemia patients with similar α-globin genotype显示文摘BACKGROUND:Thalassemia is known as the commonest monogenic disorder with an imbalanced rate of globin chains production of adult hemoglobin.Despite the available information about the thalassemia etiology,its phenotype varies from each patient to another.This study aimed to evaluate the hematological parameters of patients with the same -α3.7homozygote and heterozygote genotypes to amend screening programs. METHODS:In this observational study,we evaluated 1301thalassemia suspected patients who referred to the Thalassemia and Hemoglobinopathy Research Center of Ahvaz University of Medical Sciences,Khuzestan,Iran during 2014-2016. According to the genotyping studies,patients divided into 2groups with -α3.7/αα(n =646)and -α3.7/-ct3.7(n =181) genotypes.Thereafter,distribution of hematological parameters evaluated in both groups. RESULTS:The mean age in heterozygous and homozygous groups was 25.74-4.5and 26-4-4.4years old,respectively.The degree of anemia was considerably varied in patients with the same genotype.MCV,RBC and MCH showed a wide distribution in patients.
