| 1 | 街道层峡形态对夏季室外气温及热舒适的影响显示文摘为了研究南京典型夏季气候条件下街区层峡形态与室外气温及热舒适度的关系,采用参数化方法衍生设计出16个具有不同层峡形态的中心商业区(CBD)街区模型,利用建筑环境气温预测工具(STEVE Tool)进行数值模拟,计算得到各街区不同位置的24h实际区域室外气温(θ_a),并基于θ_a采用RayMan模型计算各街区中不同位置的24h热舒适度(PET).通过比较分析各街区不同位置区域室外气温与热舒适度的分布特征,得到街区层峡几何形态对区域室外气温及热舒适度的影响规律.结果表明:街区层峡高宽比与天空视角系数(ΨSVF)对区域室外气温及室外热舒适度均起主要的影响作用,但对气温的影响在白天与夜间呈相反趋势,对室外热舒适度的影响趋势全天较一致. | 邓寄豫 郑炘 WONG Nyuk Hien | 2018 | 浙江大学学报(工学版)2018,52,5: | 8 |
| 2 | Impacts of different drying strategies on drying characteristics,the retention of bio-active ingredient and colour changes of dried Roselle显示文摘The drying kinetics of Roselle(Hibiscus sabdariffa L) of variety Terengganu(UMKL-1) and the quality attribution of Roselle were studied. The experiments were conducted using four different drying methods, including solar greenhouse drying(SD), solar greenhouse with intermittent heat pump drying(SIHP), hot air drying(HA) and heat pump drying(HP). Among the four drying methods, HP achieved the highest drying rate at a range from0.054 g H_2 O·(g DM)^(-1) ·min^(-1) to 0.212 g H_2 O·(g DM)^(-1)·min^(-1) while SD had the lowest drying rate, measured at 0.042 g H_2 O·(g DM)^(-1)·min^(-1).The analysis on colour kinetics revealed that there is no significant colour loss(p > 0.05) observed from HP's dried Roselle. | 4 | Preliminary nitrite, nitrate and colour analysis of Malaysian edible bird’s nest显示文摘The high nitrite content in edible bird’s nests is a major concern to the local swiftlet industry.It lowers the price of the edible bird’s nests and it brings severe health hazards to consumers and farmers.This research investigated the nitrite and nitrate contents of eight types of local edible bird’s nests by using ion chromatography system and evaluating its colour using the CIE system in L^*a^*b^*parameters.The nitrite content obtained ranged from 5.7 lg/g for the house nests to 843.8 lg/g for the cave nests.The nitrate content for the house and cave nests was 98.2 lg/g and 36,999.4 lg/g,respectively.The cave nests with darker and redder colour had higher nitrite and nitrate contents than the brighter and more yellow house nests.This likely suggests that the nitrite and nitrate contents have correlations with edible bird’s nests colour.Correlations studies suggested that the nitrite content had high correlations with colour parameters,L^*a^*b^*of edible bird’s nests at significant level of P<0.10.These findings suggest that edible bird’s nests’colour may be a useful indicator for measuring nitrite and nitrate contaminations. | Meei Chien Quek Nyuk Ling Chin Yus Aniza Yusof Sheau Wei Tan Chung Lim Law | 2015 | Information Processing in Agriculture2015,2,1: | 3 |
| 5 | Field synergy analysis of pollutant dispersion in street canyons and its optimization by adding wind catchers显示文摘The microenvironment,which involves pollutant dispersion of the urban street canyon,is critical to the health of pedestrians and residents.The objectives of this work are twofold:(i)to effectively assess the pollutant dispersion process based on a theory and(ii)to adopt an appropriate stratigy,i.e.,wind catcher,to alleviate the pollution in the street canyons.Pollutant dispersion in street canyons is essentially a convective mass transfer process.Because the convective heat transfer process and the mass transfer process are physically similar and the applicability of field synergy theory to turbulence has been verified in the literature,we apply the field synergy theory to the study of pollutant dispersion in street canyons.In this paper,a computational fluid dynamics(CFD)simulation is conducted to investigate the effects of wind catcher,wind speed and the geometry of the street canyons on pollutant dispersion.According to the field synergy theory,Sherwood number and field synergy number are used to quantitatively evaluate the wind catcher and wind speed on the diffusion of pollutants in asymmetric street canyons.The results show that adding wind catchers can significantly improve the air quality of the step-down street canyon and reduce the average pollutant concentrations in the street canyon by 75%.Higher wind speed enhances diffusion of pollutants differently in different geometric street canyons. | Tingzhen Ming Huina Han Zhen Zhao Renaud de Richter Yongjia Wu Wei Li Nyuk Hien Wong | 2021 | Building Simulation2021,14,2: | 2 |
